At Himeji castle Japan has a visitor. After showing her around the interior they take a walk to the famous Okiku well.

"... And this old tale inspires many even today. The movies Ring and the Grudge were partially based on it," he concludes.

"Oh wow. When you put it that way, spending the night in this castle doesn't seem so appealing.

"Do not worry," he explains. "Her spirit was long gone after banished by a Buddhist monk."

Flashback: We see a calm monk in orange, passing through the dark hallways. As a quiet female voice starts counting to 10, he turns and screams from the top of his voice "Begon ghost!"

End of flashback: That night, the guest sleeps in a traditional Japanese bed. Everything is dark, with thunder heard far away. Nervous, she tries shutting her eyes hoping for soem rest.

"Ichi, ni, san..." is heard, flinching the female visitor out of her already light sleep. She looks up seeing nothing in the dark room.

The thunder becomes louder. " Shi, go, rok..." barely registers in the listener's ears. Sitting and scanning around the room again. Quickly covering her head, she gulps fearing what happens next.

"Nanna, achi, kyuu..." is uttered slowly with the voice tenser with each number. The visitor listens to the ghots strained voice still covered. As the thunder is about to strike and the ghost bellow and scream, the visitor pops out her head to see a woman in white sitting on her bed. The misfortunate demon creature grabs her long hair with an expression of torture.

"You can go back and rest. All the plates were found," the female visitor explains. The otherworldly entity looks at her. Confused at first, she smiles relieved. With a hearty thank you, the ghost takes a deep breath and exhales, disappearing for good in the process.

"Well, that was easy," the visitor says and returns to sleep.
