POV of the Orthodox church during the creation of church Denominations (This would have been better as a meme, but I have become way too comfortable with this format to change it now)

Catholicism: "From now on, we shall elect one man to be above us all as a divine representative. Oh an priests need to be celibate because reasons!"

Meanwhile Byzantium raises her eyebrow. "Um, I don't think that is how it's supposed to work," she says slowly as she looks with her hands crossed.

Beginning of Protestantism: "We are tired of these Catholic rules. They are crooked and misleading. We want to do it the right way!"

The rest of the Orthodox world smiles: "Good for you."

Protestants: "No more Latin! Priests can marry again!"

Orthodoxy: "Great starts. I see this going places."

Protestants: "And no more Eucharists because it reminds us of the Catholics!"

Orthodoxy: "What? No go back. Go back!"

Protestants: "We are dividing?"

Orthodoxy, slouched and muttering: "Go figure."

Other denominations: "We must work hard and respect the word of God."

Orthodoxy says cautiously: "Okay?"

Other denominations: "That is why you must be perfect in every way to get into Heaven!"

The rest of Orthodoxy blinks flabbergasted: "That's it. I'm done. Take care," they mutter swaying their hands and walking away.
