[Author's Note: This is a fanfic with Tony Stark and a Female Harry Potter. Tony Stark may be a little bit out of character sometimes. Plus I wanted to write another time travel fanfic but with Tony and Harry this time.]
Harriet Phoenix Jasmine Potter had just defeated Lord Voldemort at the age of seventeen and she was trying to decide if she wanted to go back to Hogwarts to do redo her seventh year or not; because she had managed to learn to defend herself while working/training with MI6 as well as the British Royal Navy that she had secretly worked for almost three years.
She only had let those that she had truly trusted with this bit of information come to this meeting and while she had found out the truth about a few people that had pretended that they had actually cared for her and was secretly stealing from her without her knowledge at the age of fourteen years of age. She knew that her true friends and family to her were loyal and were moving forward in their lives. So, she requested that those people that were truly loyal to her as well as inviting the Queen of England and her boss from MI6 along with Death and his siblings to come to Gringotts for a brief meeting.
Gringotts Bank...
Draco, his parents, and several others arrived at Gringotts and the goblin that had met them at the entrance to a huge meeting room. Most of the witches and wizards were surprised to see the Queen of England here at a Wizarding Bank but still showed their respect to her.
Meanwhile, Molly, Ginny, Ron, and Hermione had just entered to get their money for school things unaware that they were getting ready to be on trial with the Goblins from stealing from one of their most financial clients, Lady Harriet Phoenix Jasmine Potter. Also, they were completely unaware that Lady Harriet Phoenix Jasmine Potter was planning to change some things by traveling back in time before she turned eighteen and how far she was going to go back was about probably eleven years or so she assumed.
Inside the room...
Harriet was talking with Ragnarok and Griphook about she was doing because of what she had found out and how she was changing her last name to Pervell but still be related to the Potters by changing the timeline a bit. They had just had finished going over things; when her most trusted friends and family arrived ; which she decided to explain everything at once again in order to let them know what she was going to do as well as to why she was doing it.
"Potter, what's going on?" Draco questioned.
Harriet faced Draco and the others and said, "I'm leaving Britain of this time period, Draco."
"Why?" Neville said.
"I just feel like I don't think my future is here but my future may be in the past and also I will change a few things with help of Death and his siblings." Harriet said cryptically .
"What does that mean, Harri?" George asked.
"It basically means that I'm basically traveling back in time to about eleven years and probably changing a few things but some things may be the same or not. Also, my name will be different because of me doing this and I believe that what I am doing might change several things." Harriet said.
"What will you be going by once you're in the past, Harriet? And what do think you'll change? Or what will be changed?" Andromeda asked curiously.
"My name will be Phoenix Jasmine Selene Peverell. Although, I might be starting anew in the past and things may change like my gender may end up being born a male instead of being born a female. Just so you all know that you all will always be my true friends and family. While I am in the past, I may also find my soulmate/my other half; since I don't know if my soulmate/my other half is here in the present." Harriet said, "Also, some changes may be done by Death and his siblings. Plus, there's still a chance that the prophecy that I had to deal with will possibly remain regardless of the changes."
"Then we all shall wish you well, Lady Peverell and bless your marriage to your chosen one that fate has for you." Luna said dreamily.
Everyone just nodded in agreement with Luna on what she said.
Harriet just smiled and said, "Thank you, everyone."
Then she explained more about what she was going to do and what was possibly going to happen once she did this. She also told them about the story that the goblins had helped her to come up with; so no one would suspect that she came from the future.
Harriet smiled and disappeared back in time.
When they Harriet disappear; they secretly wished her luck and she would find true love with someone since their timeline was going to be rewritten in some places
Here's where our story begins for the timeline to change in 1987...
Harriet Phoenix Jasmine Potter had just arrived at Gringotts in Manhattan and was greeted by a goblin and followed the goblin to his office since the British goblins of the future informed the American goblins of the future which in turned the American goblins of the past of what exactly was going on. So, the goblin prepared the paperwork for Harriet's complete name change as well as the paperwork that Death and his siblings had agreed on because in the future which Albus Dumbledore had completely and nearly destroyed if it hadn't been for Harriet; somehow Dumbledore managed to harm the true Mistress of Death and now they were going to rewrite the timeline a bit because Dumble dick had really misinterpreted the prophecy itself all together.
The goblin realized what the newly renamed Harriet Phoenix Jasmine Potter was actually sent here to do and that was to prevent Albus Dumbledore from nearly destroying the Magical World as well as every branch of Magic.
After Phoenix Jasmine Selene Peverell as Harriet Potter was now officially known as knew that she would have to search for the male version of herself known as Harrison James Potter but he went by Harry for short and she wanted to find him before his eleventh birthday in order to stop Dumbledore manipulating him where he could possibly be used as a trained weapon and fulfill the prophecy the right way and not the way that Dumbledore wanted.
So, after she left Gringotts with the paperwork and the goblins filled her in of the story that she had created before she had come back in time; they informed her that an American Auror named Rick O'Connell would meet her and take her to MUSCA fill out the paperwork for her duel citizenship.
Several moments later...
Phoenix had indeed met with Auror O'Connell and he had filled her in on word of what had happened on Halloween night in Britain because O'Connell's cousin had been friends with Lord James Charlus Potter and Sirius Orion Black when they served as Aurors for the Ministry of Magic in Britain. She could hardly believe what she was being told by Auror O'Connell.
After Auror O'Connell had told Miss Peverell what had happened to her cousin and his wife and that her nephew had survived somehow. Not to mention that he told her that Dumbledore was her nephew's magical guardian when she knew for a fact that Dumbledore was never ever considered one of Harry's guardians if something were to happen to James and Lily because those that were to take care of Harry were named in Potters' wills.
"Ms. Peverell, will you be in staying in the states long?" Rick asked.
Phoenix looked at Rick and said, "I was recently on a long mission for MI6 and I couldn't contact my cousin or his family. I always saw James as a brother that I never had and he thought of me as a little sister. However, from what you told me; it may take a while to process it but I do need to search for Harry and set things straight."
"We'll help you anyway that we can, Ms. Peverell. Also, if we find out anything, what would like us to do?" Rick asked curiously.
"If you find anything out contact the goblins in Britain because if someone is doing something illegal to my nephew; I need to know. Also, there's a possibility that my soulmate is American; I don't think I'll know who it is until our eyes meet." Phoenix said.
"Will you be staying at hotel or will you be finding a place to live, Ms. Peverell?" Rick asked.
"Probably, a hotel unless my family had a place here that I am not aware of right now, Mr. O'Connell." Phoenix said.
Rick chuckled and said, "You can call me, Rick , Lady Peverell."
"Then call me, Phoenix, Mr. O'Connell." Phoenix said.
"Of course, ma'am and have a nice day." Rick said.
Phoenix left MCUSA and headed out into the Muggle World of the states. As she was walking; she was so lost in thought that she hadn't realized that she had literally walked into someone until she was on the ground and a hand held out in front of her asking, "Are you okay, Miss?"
Phoenix took the hand that was offering to help her up in which she felt as she touched the hand and looked up into the
most captivating Ember-whiskey brown colored eyes that she had ever seen. From what she could tell is that he must've felt the spark as well because he was looking into her silverish-blue green eyes in shock from just happened.
Then she answered, "Yes, I am fine and I am sorry from bumping into you."
The young man looked at her and said, "That's okay because you seemed lost in your thoughts." The young man said.
"May I ask your name if you don't mind, sir?" Phoenix asked curiously.
"Sure, my name is Anthony Edward Stark but I go by Tony. And what's your name?" Tony said.
"My Phoenix Selene Jasmine Peverell." Phoenix said reversing her middle names while still stunned at Tony's handsomeness.
Tony had to admit that Phoenix was very beautiful and exotic but he also noticed that she had a British accent to her like his godmother, Peggy Carter. However, he also sensed that there was something else about her that he couldn't help but smile.
Phoenix for some reason returned his smile as he helped her up off the ground. Then they both heard someone clearing their throat and turned to an older gentleman with two women and another young man standing there looking at them.
"Tony, may I ask who this young lady is?" The older man asked.
"Dad, this is Ms. Phoenix Peverell. We sort of bumped into each other by accident." Tony said looking at the older man.
"Tones, only you can attract a beautiful girl." Rhodey said sarcastically.
"Rhodey, we just bumped into each other." Tony said.
Rhodey was about to say something when Phoenix spoke saying, "Tony is telling the truth; we sort of bumped into each other because I wasn't exactly paying attention since I recieved news from home about my cousin, Lord James Charlus Potter and his wife, Lady Lily Potter nee Evans. I also learned that their young son was the only one to survive the attack but is now missing and he would be about seven years old now; considering he was a year-old when his parents were murdered on Halloween night on October 31, 1981."
Both women gasped in complete shock. The older man looked like had just gone pale.
"You're Lady Phoenix Peverell?!" The older woman said in American English with a hint of an Italian accent to it.
"Yes, ma'am. May I ask how you know me?" Phoenix questioned.
"My name is Maria Rose Stark nee Claiborne. I married Howard Anthony Stark. I knew that James Potter had a cousin that he treated like a sister because my parents had been friends with the Potters for as long as I can remember. From what I recall, James talked about you a lot and you were the one that inspired him and Heir Sirius Orion Black to join the Aurors." Maria said.
Howard and Tony along with Peggy were a bit surprised by this bit of information even though he that his wife was a witch. Tony looked at Phoenix who was definitely trying to process that the information that his mother had just given. Then Tony noticed that Phoenix seemed to be in a state of shock after his mother's information sunk in.
Finally, Phoenix said, "I had heard that the Claiborne Heiress had married an American who was a wizard in his own right whether he had magic or not. However, I will admit that I am surprised to have bumped into your Heir and family, ma'am."
"That's quite alright, Ms. Peverell. It's actually nice to meet James Potter's cousin that he had admired so much finally." Maria said.
Howard spoke by saying, "Ms. Peverell, why don't you join us and we may be able to help in some way to locate your cousin's son."
"I would appreciate that." Phoenix said then looked at Tony and said, "I'm sorry if I interrupted some sort of celebration, Tony."
Tony looked at Phoenix and said, "You didn't interrupt anything, Nix. We were just on our way to get something to eat."
Phoenix looked at Tony with surprise at being called Nix and said, "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure, Nix and dad's right, we'll help you search for your nephew as long as it takes." Tony said smile.
"Okay, Tony. Since it would be nice to have extra help in trying to find my nephew, Harry Potter." Phoenix said with a smile.
"Good. If I am guessing right, we have probably four years to find your nephew, Harry Potter since he's only seven years of age right now?" Tony said.
Phoenix nodded.
"Then we should all our sources trying to find him." Howard said.
"I'll even ask for help from our friends at SHIELD." The other woman suggested.
And so the search for Harry Potter began with the help of The Starks and friends.
Meanwhile, in England...
Albus Dumbledore was sitting in his office at Hogwarts unaware that the one family member that he hadn't been aware of was searching for Harry Potter and that she was getting some help from someone that he wasn't completely aware of.
In Surrey...
Little Harry Potter was still wishing for someone to come and get him away from the Dursleys. He wanted someone that actually cared about him. Little did Harry know that at that very moment; their were people searching for him across the ocean and that they were family friends as well as a family member that was trying to him immediately.
Back in Malibu, California...
Tony and Nix along with Howard and Maria Stark as well as Peggy Carter and James Rhodes; they searched for Harry Potter. Then a month later before what would be Harry Potter's eighth birthday; Rick O'Connell came to the Stark Residence where Phoenix was staying because the Starks had insisted that she stay with them while here.
"Mr. O'Connell, what brings you here today?" Howard asked curiously.
"I have news from the British Branch of Gringotts for Lady Peverell." Rick said.
"Something tells me that it's not going to be good and Phoenix will probably do something that no one expected because of who she is and she will feel that someone had threatened those that are family and true friends." Howard said ushering Rick inside.
"What do mean, Mr. Stark?" Rick questioned.
"Let's just that family magic will hit the roof probably after you inform Nix as Tony likes to call Phoenix for short of the news you have to tell her, Rick. Also, Nix and Tony have become pretty close with each other since she has been here." Howard said.
Howard and Rick continued talking as they walked to where Maria, Tony, and the others were. When they reached the room; they were surprised to see Rhodey standing there.
"What's going on, Maria?" Howard asked curiously.
"Rhodey came to tell us that he's enlisted into the military, Howard." Maria said.
Then they heard, "Well, Nix out ranks you, Rhodes; but congratulations."
"Thanks, Tones and I know that Nix out ranks me." Rhodey said, "Any luck on the search?"
Tony sighed and said, "Nope and Nix thinks that there's a possibility that someone doesn't want anyone to know where Harry is."
"But why would this person or persons want keep Harry from family on his father's side, Tony?" Rhodey asked curiously.
"It's possible that this person or persons didn't know about Nix, Rhodey." Tony said.
Nix was just watching the two because it was sort of reminding her of how Sirius and Remus as well as James would talk with each other when they were always joking around with each other.
Howard cleared his throat; which caused Tony and Rhodey to stop their conversation and look towards him.
"Hey, dad, what's going on?" Tony asked.
"Rick is here with some news about Harry for Phoenix." Howard said.
Phoenix or Nix as she was being called for short since Tony started calling her that looked directly at Rick and asked, "What's the news, Mr. O'Connell?"
Rick took a deep breath and said, "My cousin, Melissa contacted me about a few weeks ago something strange involving accidental magic at an address in the No-Maj world of Britain in a place called Surrey, England."
"What was the address,Rick?" Maria asked suddenly curious.
"The address was Number Four Private Drive, Surrey, England. The people that live there are a Vernon, Petunia, and Dudley Dursley and my cousin thought it was strange that there was accidental magic there considering there isn't a record of a magical child at the address and was about..." Rick was interrupted by Nix saying, "Did you say Petunia Dursley?! Who was formerly known as Petunia Evans ?!"
Rick nodded and was a bit confused.
Tony noticed that Nix was starting to get angry and asked out of curiosity, "Who is Petunia Dursley and please tell me why you're upset about her?"
Nix turned and faced Tony and said, "Petunia Dursley née Evans is Lily's sister and she hates magic because she was jealous of Lily for having magic. Lily had told me what Petunia was like when she had started going to Hogwarts. She told me how she had been friends with a young boy named Severus Snape and things changed between them."
"Nix, are you saying that there may be a possibility that Harry could be in the care of Petunia and he's not so suppose to be?" Tony questioned.
"It's possible,Tony and if he is then there is also a possibility that she would take up all of her pent-up jealousy of Lily and take it out on Harry himself while he's just an innocent child." Nix said with worry.
Everyone gasped as they understood what Nix was saying about Petunia Dursley and there was a possibility that Petunia along with her husband and son were abusing Harry.
Tony looked at Rick and asked, "Is there anything else, Rick?" while watching Nix's reaction from the corner of his eye as Rick answered him.
"Yes, apparently, a Mr. Albus Dumbledore seems to be Harry Potter's magical guardian and my cousin thinks that he became Harry's guardian illegally because from what she had secretly overheard a goblin named Krooknail boasting how he was being paid by a wizard to keep wills sealed." Rick said.
Nix wasn't exactly happy to hear that someone like Albus Dumbledore was her nephew's magical guardian by illegal means and said, "Rick, it seems that I'm going to have to return to England to take care of some things."
Tony probably wouldn't admit it right out but he had enjoyed being around Nix especially since she was pretty much a bad ass of a woman and somehow she had manage to win his heart in the time that she had been here with him and his family. However, he knew that her nephew was important to her and he along with his family and friends had helped her search for him; and now he has been found but there is a possibility that he was being abused by an Aunt that couldn't let go of her jealousy over her sister. He didn't like it and he was willing to go with Nix that he said, "Nix, I will go with you to retrieve Harry from the Dursleys and we'll bring him here or we can stay in the Stark London Penthouse."
Nix turned to look at Tony and said, "Tony, thank you. You and your family have been a great help in helping me search for Harry. I admit that I was shocked by everyone that wanted to help me who was a complete stranger and I am surprised that you still would that you would still want to continue helping me and I am great full for it, Tony."
Tony chuckled and said, "Nix, you came here and in some way you managed to do something that no girl well young woman managed to do and that was that you had managed to capture my heart from the very beginning."
Howard was standing beside Maria and they were smiling because having Nix staying with them during her search for her nephew; they had seen Tony being dedicated to helping Nix in the search and they had realized that when Tony and Nix had first met that they shared what is known as a soulmate bond meaning that Tony and Nix were meant to be together. So, in some secret way; Howard and Maria had managed to draw up a marriage contract between Tony and Nix but they were going to let them both have the final look and say about the arranged marriage contract in case, they felt like changing something before they both signed it.
Rick couldn't help but notice that Howard's and Maria's son, Tony always seemed to be beside Nix or Nix was by his side in the time that they had first met each other and he was surprised at how close that they had gotten to each other. Then he had noticed the smile that Howard and his wife had shared then he heard Rhodey say out of the blue, "Tony, in the time that you and Nix have met and became friends; the two of you have become so close that you could be mistaken as husband and wife from the way you two act around each other!"
Both Tony and Nix started to laugh but then Nix said,"Rhodey, Tony and I probably give that vibe to people because we are always together. However, with that being said; if Tony and I were to be in an arranged marriage or even in a relationship then I don't think that there's no one that I rather be with then."
"Same goes for me, Rhodey. I mean, Nix is fun to be around with and she's intelligent; plus, she doesn't mind my childish antics since it makes her laugh and boy, do I like hearing her laugh after all she has went through with the loss of her cousin and his wife as well as helping her trying to find Harry." Tony said.
Everyone else was completely surprised by Nix's and Tony's response to Rhodey telling them that they acted like they were married.
After talking a bit more with Rick and putting a plan into action in order to rescue Harry from Petunia and her family; it wasn't until Howard and Maria along with Peggy decided to tell Tony and Nix about the marriage contract after the others had left.
"Tony?" Howard said.
Tony turned towards his father and said, "Yeah, Dad?"
"Your mother and I along with Peggy would like to talk with Nix before the two of you make plans to go to London tonight or if you choose to go early in the morning." Howard said.
"Sure, Dad. Nix and I were planning to go in the early morning by taking an early flight." Tony said.
Rhodey finally had to say goodbye to Tony and Nix because he told them that he had to start packing for basic training and more. However, he wanted Tony and Nix to contact him when they arrived safely in England; which Tony agreed to.
Inside Howard's office/ study...
So, Howard went and sat down behind his desk with Maria coming to stand beside him and he motioned for Tony and Nix to take a seat across from him. Tony and Nix to their seats across from Howard and Maria; they couldn't help but wonder what was going on. Meanwhile, Peggy stood over to the corner but she was going to listen quietly to the conversation.
"Tony, what would you say if your mother and I told you that we believe that you and Nix were soulmates when the two of you first met and it was confirmed when you two felt a shock the moment that you two touched?" Howard said.
"I would probably think that you were crazy at first but I think it would make sense, Dad." Tony said.
Nix nodded in agreement with Tony on this but she wondered what Howard and Maria really wanted to talk to them about.
"Which brings me to the question that I am going to ask both of you and I want an honest answer because both Maria and I would like to know what you would think about the question that I am going to ask." Howard said.
"Okay, Dad. So what is the question that you and Mom have for Nix and me?" Tony said.
"Well, what do you two think about you two being in an arranged marriage with a contract? Because Maria and I had already written one up for you two; but we are going to let you look over it and see what you think of what we wrote up." Howard said.
Tony looked at Nix to see her reaction to this tid bit of information and was surprised to see her in shock by what his father had just said. Then he heard Nix say, "Mr. Stark, not many magical families offer that particular option when the two people in question for an arranged marriage contract to look over the contract and suggest the couple add more to it after the parents have already made it." Nix said.
"That may be true because Maria had informed me of the Magical World when we were dating since she was the Heiress of the Ancient and Noble house of Claiborne from Italy. Maria told me a lot about the magical world and how it is different in different places around the world." Howard said.
Maria was smiling at Howard which he returned her smile. Both Tony and Nix were sitting there completely speechless but Tony had to ask out of curiosity, "Dad? Mom? What exactly does this have to do with Nix and me going to Surrey, England?"
"Well, Tony, not only are you your father's Heir but you're also Heir Claiborne and now Lord Claiborne because you're the last Heir to my side of the family. We are scared of leaving you alone if something happens to us. I know that your father and I haven't always been there because we were doing other things; but we did love you as our son even if we didn't exactly show it." Maria said.
"And thanks to Nix, we realize how much we actually missed out on by not being there for you and we tried to make it up to you and probably didn't exactly go over well." Howard said, "Especially, with me gallivanting in the arctic trying to find Captain Rogers that I lost sight of being a father and missed out on a lot of things." Howard said sadly with some regret.
"Wait!" Nix said, "Did you say Captain America aka Steve Rogers?"
"I did. Do you know him, Ms. Peverell?" Howard asked curiously.
Peggy was curious as well as to know if Nix knew Steve.
"I don't know him but James's father knew of him because James had mentioned that his family knew a man named Captain Steve Rogers to me before I had left for my huge mission for MI6 and said that Captain Rogers had crashed somewhere in the arctic but no one has been able to find him or his plane. James also mentioned that his father had considered the Captain a friend." Nix said.
Howard and his family were surprised by this bit of information.
"With that being said, should we somehow meet the Captain; I will form my own opinion of him." Nix said.
Peggy looked at Nix and asked finally, "Regardless, if by some miracle that Steve is alive and you and Tony meet him just know that he was the sweetest person when I knew him. However, what's your opinion of being in an arranged marriage with my godson, Tony?"
Nix faced Peggy and said, "I'm not against it and the only thing that really matters is if Tony is okay with being in an arranged marriage with me considering we have barely known each other for at least a few months."
Tony was a bit surprised that Nix wasn't against being in an arranged marriage with him that he said, "Shall we look over the marriage contract that my parents wrote and see if we add anything to it or not?"
"Let's look it over, Tony." Nix said.
Howard slid the marriage contract across his desk towards Tony and Nix; so they could read what they had written up for the arrangement for them. Howard and Maria watched as Tony and Nix read over the marriage contract.
[Author's Note: In this revision of the rough draft into the first chapter. I'm making it a little bit more clearer that Tony Stark is a Wizard and ahis Father, Howard Stark knows because he knows that is wife, Maria Stark nee Claiborne was a witch. Which makes the original chapter a rough draft of sorts now.]
