The Red Queen

(With Harry)

Harry decided to explore the castle that day. He loved exploring and learning about the area he was in. He enjoyed finding secret passages. Too bad his day was about to be ruined.

"Just who the hell are you?" A red haired woman sneered.

"Harry Potter. You?" He asked.

"Iracebeth. What are you doing inside MY castle?" She demanded to know.

"I thought the castle was Queen Mirana." He said.

"It's MY castle!" She screamed.

"Well Mirana Brought me here." He said, backing away from the angry chick.

"I-" She was cut off.

"Iracebeth!" Mirana yelled.

"What?" She acted innocent.

"You will not treat my guests this way." She glared.

"Bu-"

"There are no buts. Apologize right now." She was pissed.

"Fine. I'm sorry." She stormed off.

"You weren't kidding." Harry said.

"Unfortunately not. She's upset because I won't give her my crown and my kingdom." She frowned.

"Too bad. She proved to be a terrible queen." He said.

"I know." She was saddened by that fact and the fact her sister couldn't accept it.

"Well, she'll soon learn I am not one to mess with." He said.

"Alright." She knew he wasn't going to hurt her sister.

"Don't worry. I don't plan on hurting her." He assured her.

"I know." She said.

"Good. Well I shall be on my way. I have some exploring to do." He said.

"Have fun." Mirana smiled at him.

"Thank you." He walked off after that.

"Now to have a serious talk with my sister." She sighed.

(A few hours later)

Mirana rubbed her head to help with the pain. Her sister was so stubborn and hated to be corrected. She had expected Mirana to give her the crown after Mirana apologized and admitted she had taken the food.

Yes Mirana had lied but she proved to be a better queen than her sister and so far her sister kept having tantrums. It was really frustrating. She wished her sister would just accept it.

"Are you okay?" Harry asked.

"No. My sister is a headache." She told him.

"Here. It's a potion for headaches and migraines." He held out a vial.

"Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome."

"That was unpleasant." She said after she drank it.

"Potions usually are. At least they are effective." The black haired male said.

"True." Her headache was gone. "How was it exploring?" She asked.

"Very fun. I found a few secret passages." He showed her a map he had made.

"Oh wow. You found one I didn't know about." She informed him.

"I have a gift." He said.

"It was this one." She pointed to it.

"This one, as you can see, goes between the throne room and the garden. It is very dusty and has cobwebs but I cleaned it up." He told her.

"I never thought to move that chair." It was the consort throne. "In fact I thought it was bolted down.

"I was in the garden and noticed a raccoon stuck in some vines. I freed it and noticed a door. I went in and at the end was a ladder and a trap door. It took some work but I was able to lift the door enough to look out. I then left and went to the throne room. I figured it out due to angles." He revealed.

"I see." The boy was smart.

"I think I will finish this up in a couple days." He said.

"Keep me filled in." She said.

"I will." He promised.

They finished their lunch and went their separate ways. Iracebeth followed her sister around and made scathing comments about her sister's skills as a queen. Those comments were ignored.

Harry continued to explore. Every hidden passageway made him excited. He loved exploring. He only stopped for dinner.

Iracebeth sneered at him but kept her mouth shut. He just ignored her as he ate and showed the queen the new additions to his map. This time he didn't find any that she didn't know about.

Afterwards he retired to his bedroom. He changed and went right to bed. He fell asleep quickly.

(Next Morning)

The next morning Harry woke up and took a bath. Once done he got dressed and left to go get breakfast. He noticed a certain big headed woman waiting around the corner. As he walked away she crept up to his room.

'I see she's going to be irritating today.' He thought. 'Too bad I used magic to lock and ward my room.'

He smiled as he walked away. It wasn't long until he heard her screaming. Not because she was hurt but because she couldn't get it. He could still hear her screams as he entered the dining hall. Mirana was already there. She heard the screams and she wondered what was going on.

"Good morning. Your sister is screaming because she can't get into my room." He told her.

"Oh." She sighed at that. "I'm sorry."

"You never have to apologize to me for her actions." He told her. "I don't blame you."

"But I am the one who let her off." She said.

"True but you exiled her before and she caused so much trouble. At least this way you are able to keep an eye on her. I know you don't want her in the dungeons." He said.

"I don't. I have limited the things she can do." She sighed again. "Maybe I am a bad queen."

"Don't let her get to you. You didn't let her out of her room for a year and no one was allowed to talk to her. She is acting like a child so treat her like one." He told her.

"I guess." She sighed again.

"Also remind her how lucky she is. She had many people executed and almost always it was a stupid reason. She also had her pet terrorize people. If it was me I would have had her executed for her crimes or locked away. I don't care what her reasons are." He said.

"True." She looked very troubled.

"I know. She is your sister." He said.

Mirana nodded. "She is and I still feel guilty. It was my lie that did this."

"Yes you lied but she allowed her anger to get the better of her. Her crown broke and people laughed. That is embarrassing and she blamed you. That is okay. What isn't okay is how she handled the anger and embarrassment. She threatened to cut their heads off. Not okay. Even if you did admit to what you had done doesn't mean that your dad would have changed his decision. She had shown to be emotionally unready."

"That's true. Excuse me." She left to go think.

'I feel bad for her.' He thought.

Harry finished breakfast and went off to explore. Iracebeth continued her attempts at opening Harry's room.
