A/N: A very happy birthday to the queen, the Goddess and my favourite anime character of all time, Mrs. Hinata Uzumaki. Her role in canon may have been sidelined in favor of others, but she shone brightly every moment she was there. To me, she will always be a main character of her own. Someone not perfect, someone who has made mistakes and has suffered their consequences, someone very human but at the same time inspiring enough to be nothing less than a Goddess. Her struggles have been very understandable and relatable and hence have always been inspiring.

Hinata is the one who has Naruto tamed, since she is the only person to whom Naruto doesn't talk back or argue, rather she is the one whom he obeys most. If anything, in my personal opinion, she is his second mother figure, even more so than any other important women in his life including Tsunade and others.

And with that, Mrs. Uzumaki, a very warm happy birthday to you from myself and GBAboy313. We'll always be your sincere fans. May you continue to inspire many like us. I know that the canon till now has not been very kind to you, so we will do our best to give your character the importance it rightfully deserves in our own little universe here.

GBA: Before we start, Rank and I need to make note of something that came to our attention since last time. Everyone should be aware of the information that certain YouTube channels have started taking fics, running them through text-to-speech programs, and then posting them to their channels without the permission of the writers. Well, Guardian got hit with that. Imitation is flattering, but in this case it is annoying. The video was given the most stupid, clickbait-y name imaginable: 'What if Naruto was a cute Tailed Beast?' Rank can fill in the rest but I, personally, am not amused. This had been going on for months behind our backs and we only found out because a reader actually PMed Rank and told him about the video.

CHAPTER 38: MEET YOUR IN-LAWS(TO BE)

It was still morning and of course Naruto hadn't had breakfast yet. He was only stepping out of his apartment to go on a run around the village and do some workouts instructed by Gai before heading for breakfast.

The blonde had been tired and had dozed off early, getting himself a long and sound sleep.

And as soon as he had hit the road, he ran into his lovely girlfriend.

"Morning Hinata-chan!" The blonde greeted with a grin and rushed to give his girlfriend a hug. Hinata smiled and wrapped her arms around him. But Naruto did sense that his girlfriend was a bit…nervous for some reason.

"What's up, Hime? I can tell something's bothering you…" He asked.

Hinata nodded. "Hai…it's my father…"

"Huh? Did he do something stupid? Are the old bastards stirring up trouble? Tell me, we'll kick their asses collectively!" Naruto proclaimed.

Hinata shook her head. "That day hasn't come yet, dear. It's just that, my father and aunt Kyoko, Neji nii-san's mother, they wanted to meet you over breakfast."

"Huh?" Naruto blinked. And then he remembered what Hyuuga Tokuma had told him back when he had gone to the Hokage office to receive his promotion.

He gulped nervously. "Oh shit…"

"I am a bit nervous too, more because you know how my father can have that scary look on his face…"

"Yeah…the few times I have come across him, his scary face just freaked me out. Though, he is still on my to-be pranked list and pretty high up at that."

"Let's face it together…" Hinata said in a reassuring tone.

"Yeah…"

*From the mindscape*

"All the best, Naru-chan. And don't get nervous. He won't do anything to you." Kushina said encouragingly.

"Yes. Just make him see your loyalty to Hinata-chan." Minato added.

'Thanks Mom, Dad. Dunno how I am gonna face him, but no matter what I won't let him separate me from Hinata-chan…'

"Yes! Besides, Hinata-chan won't let that happen either." Kushina reassured.

'I know Mom. Let's get this done.'

The two lovers headed for the Hyuuga compound with little nervous looks on their faces.

As Naruto stepped in, he eyed around as it was probably the first time he was in there, officially.

"Good morning, Hinata-sama, Uzumaki-san." A Hyuuga in a maid outfit greeted.

"Good morning, Natsu-san." Hinata greeted back.

"Good morning…" Naruto greeted as well.

"Hiashi-sama and Kyoko-sama have been expecting you, please follow me." Natsu stated and began leading the way.

Naruto clasped Hinata's hand.

"I hope he doesn't disapprove of me, if he says that I am not fit for you, or my status is not high enough…" He began mumbling in a very low tone.

"While I will very much appreciate his approval, I won't ever leave you regardless of what my clan thinks of our relationship. I did promise that we'll be together forever, right? Don't worry, Naruto-kun. I won't ever let go of you, no matter what…" Hinata said in a low tone but with absolute resolve.

"And I won't leave you even if your dad or your clan think shit about me." Naruto stated in a low tone.

Re-affirming their undying love for one another again, the couple headed following Natsu's lead.

The maid led the two into the largest house in the compound and guided them into the dining hall.

And Hiashi and Kyoko were waiting for them there.

"I have fetched Hinata-sama and Uzumaki-san as you requested, Hiashi-sama. Unless you have further need of me at the moment, I will be going to get the food requested."

"Thank you for your good work, Natsu-chan." Kyoko responded with a kind smile.

Naruto immediately bowed down and greeted the adults.

"Good morning, Hyuuga-sama, Kyoko-sama. I sincerely thank you for granting me the honour of joining you over breakfast." The blonde stated in a formal and humble tone.

'The kid's got good manners.' Kyoko thought to herself and glanced at Hiashi's expressionless face.

"Have a seat, Uzumaki-san, daughter." Hiashi stated, his tone stern. The teens obeyed and took seats facing Hiashi as Kyoko sat on another side of the table. Hinata sat by Naruto's left, making Hiashi raise his eyebrow just a little.

His daughter was conveying a message. In an ancient culture of a land faraway, during the marriage ceremonies, the bride sat on the groom's left as they were wedded with the flames of the holy fire as witness and the chants of mantras bound them together for eternity. (1)

The message was clear, Hinata already was sure what she thought of Naruto, as her soulmate and future husband.

Hiashi didn't say anything, but rather glanced sideways at Kyoko and noticed the look of understanding on her face.

But still, he needed to talk to Naruto.

As he thought that, food was served.

A very traditional breakfast of steamed rice, miso soup, fried eggs, some fried tofu, and a salad of pickled vegetables.

Naruto gulped lightly.

"Umm…Dad, Mom, I am kinda not sure if I can eat in a way that won't look bad. At home, I just chew down on food and never care much about the sounds I make. But here, I don't think I can eat like that."

"Don't worry kiddo, just eat slowly, take a little longer to chew and make note of your mouth and make sure it is closed when you are chewing." Minato advised.

"Okay, I'll try. Hope they don't think of me as some uncivilized… "Hick" …yeah that, after this…."

"That won't ever happen…" Kushina reassured.

Heeding his father's advice, Naruto began carefully chewing the food and, instead of how he ate regularly with big bites, he began taking small ones.

Kyoko was amused at how much the boy was trying to look as civil as he could while eating, while he was not used to it at all.

Hinata was actually feeling a bit bad that her Naruto-kun couldn't make himself at home at the breakfast table.

Naruto made a sideways glance at her and she made a sideways reassuring glance at him.

'It's alright, I am with you…' She said through her eyes.

'I know…but you know it's kinda uncomfortable…but still I will try…'

"So Uzumaki-san?" Hiashi suddenly addressed the blonde boy.

And Naruto immediately had to gulp down the piece of fried egg he was chewing on which resulted in him coughing.

Not thinking for a moment as to where she was, Hinata began patting and rubbing his back as he struggled to gulp the piece down and calm his coughs.

Hiashi waited.

'He respects me and wants to be on his best behaviour to leave a good first impression. I can respect that, especially considering he was never brought up in a family and was never taught any manners.'

"Y-Yes, Hyuuga-sama?" Naruto asked as he finally calmed his coughs.

"I will come straight to the point."

"Y-Yes?"

"At this point perhaps everyone in this village is aware of the relationship you have with my daughter."

Naruto didn't say anything but just nodded.

"I want your honest answer, what are your intentions with my daughter?" Hiashi asked curtly.

Naruto looked at the man straight. "To cherish her, protect her, love her, and marry her one day and make a family with her." He answered with determination as Hinata glanced at him and smiled affectionately.

Hiashi had to mentally admit with how serious Naruto was and the language of his eyes suggested that he was dead serious about it. And it was really surprising that language of such serious love was coming from a child so young.

But then again, the Fourth Hokage and his wife Kushina Uzumaki were a couple that had been together since days when they were that young as well.

At that very moment, Hiashi took a good look at Naruto and his features. He had the hair and eyes of the Fourth, his good friend Minato Namikaze. Were they related?

He had his suspicions but he couldn't imagine that such a fact could be hidden and for what reason.

It was known among all adults in Konoha that he was a jinchuuriki, so those wanting a Biju were already sure to come after him. The briefing he had gotten about the Akatsuki confirmed just as much.

So, why declare to the public that he was the Kyuubi jinchuuriki and not say anything about his parentage? If his parentage were to make him a target for dangerous enemy assassins, well, Hiashi couldn't see the reason in it.

If the fact of him being a jinchuuriki were to be kept a tightly knit secret, then he would have understood. But with almost all adults in the know about the Biju inside him, it was absurd that other ninja villages hadn't found out as a result of that decision.

In that case, Namikaze Minato's son or not, they would kidnap him and never kill him. That was for certain, Hiashi would have done the same had he been the kage of one of the other five great ninja villages.

The head Hyuuga shook his head slightly at the absurdity of it all. Perhaps the resemblance was just a coincidence and with that Hiashi dismissed that line of thought. But still it was unnerving as to how uncanny the resemblance was.

"You are quite serious, its unusual for a boy of your age." Hiashi commented.

"I never had anyone growing up." Naruto responded. "Hinata-chan accepted me for who I am, even after knowing everything about me. She even came to my rescue and put herself in danger when I got into a fight with enemy spies in the village. How can I not be loyal to her? I will never leave her side, in this life or the next or the one after…" The blonde proclaimed.

Hiashi sighed. When he had learned of the incident involving Hinata and Naruto that resulted in the capture of Baki and Kabuto Yakushi, just prior to the invasion, it was already too late, there was nothing he could do about it except for taking relief Hinata wasn't seriously injured. (Nobody knew the seriousness of the injury considering Kurama had healed it almost completely before she was brought to the hospital.)

"You are already aware that my daughter could put herself in danger for your sake, how are you going to protect her? Considering that due to what you have inside you, dangerous enemies are sure to come after you. Can you assure me that those enemies wouldn't put my daughter in danger…"

'What do I say to that? He is right in a way. No matter how much I try, I can't stop Hinata-chan from getting involved in my fights…'

"Tell him that you will grow strong enough to face the threats yourself." Minato advised.

'Got it'

"Hyuuga-sama, I am training myself to my limits to become worthy of being Hokage. I am aware of the enemies that might be after me and their strength. I will make sure to grow strong enough that Hinata-chan will never have to put herself in danger because of me." Naruto responded in a serious tone.

"No…" Hinata cut in immediately, softly but with the intensity of a blade being drawn. "Father, Naruto-kun is not responsible for me throwing myself into danger, I am. I protect him completely out of my own free will and conviction and I won't stop. Mother would have never stopped doing that for you or me or Hanabi-chan. It is my responsibility to get stronger to face the threats that threaten the one I love and my family. It is my responsibility to improve myself and my strength to take those threats head on. I would take on danger and put my life on the line without hesitation for all of you as well and Naruto-kun without a doubt. I won't ever be deterred from that." The lavender eyed girl proclaimed with a never seen before degree of determination. It was perhaps the first time she had talked to her father with that much confidence.

Hiashi was taken aback by the level of conviction. Since when did Hinata learn to love that way? He glanced at Kyoko again only to see admiration in her eyes for her niece's conviction.

"Fine…" The worried father had to let go of that line of conversation begrudgingly.

"Tell us something more about yourself, Naruto-kun." Kyoko cut in and asked. "Like your hobbies and all…"

"Umm…well, I like to care for plants, I like animals as well, like cats and dogs. Wouldn't mind keeping a pet. And I like training and learning new jutsus." Naruto replied with a small grin. "Also, I like camping out." He added.

"Most interesting. You know, Hinata-chan loves to press flowers, right?"

"Yeah, I know. She also likes cats, sweet things, especially cinnamon rolls, just like my liking of ramen. She also loves to train." Naruto answered.

Hinata only smiled with a little pink tint on her cheeks.

"Oh, so you know all her likes and dislikes as well? Such a caring boyfriend." Kyoko commented with a teasy edge to her tone.

"Umm…I mean…yeah…I wanna be a good boy…friend to her…" He admitted.

Hinata was mentally laughing, it was very hard to resist the temptation of hugging him right there when he said he wanted to be her good boy.

"Ahem." Hiashi coughed. 'My daughter wrapped him around her finger…' He thought to himself. 'Looks like the warning of crossing the limits has no need to be given to him, rather, Kyoko or myself should tell that to Hinata instead.' Hiashi thought to himself with a mental sigh.

"Uzumaki-san, you are aware that Hinata has grown up in a large and comfortable household…how do you plan on giving her that comfort in your house?" Hiashi asked again.

"Hyuuga-sama, I am already saving money from my mission earnings, I intend to buy or build the best house I can before our marriage. I am sorry but I don't have an inheritance waiting for me. But I will do my best to give the best life I can to Hinata-Hime. I will make sure that she lives like the princess that she is." Naruto stated with determination.

"Good." Hiashi finally said. "Besides, Uzumaki-san, I wish to ask again. Are you completely serious about your intentions of marrying my daughter?" He asked again.

"Yes sir!" Naruto responded.

"And you Hinata?" He turned to his daughter.

"I am, father" She responded with even more determination than Naruto if that was possible.

"Fine, Uzumaki, if you two are certain and sure about your intentions of marrying each other, then I wish to obtain a promise from you." Hiashi asked.

"Yes?"

"You will marry my daughter the day she turns sixteen, i.e., the marriageable age. There are certain problems in the clan and this is the only way I can think of to make sure that my daughter is not unnecessarily burdened with anything anymore than she already has been. Can you promise me that?" Hiashi asked again.

"Yes sir! I promise to marry Hinata-chan the day she turns 16. You have my word. And Uzumaki Naruto never goes back on his word, because that is my…no mine and Hinata-chan's ninja way!"

"If that's what Naruto-kun wishes. I will marry him that day. I swear." Hinata vowed.

'I think this is how he wants Hinata-chan to escape the caged bird seal.' Naruto thought to himself.

"You are right, not a bad idea if you ask me." Minato responded.

Meanwhile Kushina had stars in her eyes. "My Naru-chan will get married! Naru-chan and Hinata-chan are gettin' married 'ttedane!" Kushina was jumping in joy like a little kid.

'The mother and son are so alike….'Minato and Kurama thought to themselves. Somehow, they knew they were in agreement with each other. Maybe it was something to do with having fought each other at one time. Who knows.

"Your determination is indeed impressive, young man. You have increased my hopes on you. I will be waiting to see you convert your promises to real actions." Hiashi stated.

"You won't have to wait for long, Hyuuga-sama." Naruto responded.

And that way, the breakfast was completed. Kyoko asked Hinata to escort Naruto to the entrance of the clan compound as he got up to leave and took the adults' permission.

The lavender eyed girl complied happily.

And as she had escorted Naruto out of the gates of the Hyuuga compound, she jumped on him and hugged him tightly, after leading him to a roadside.

She even pulled him into her chest.

"H-Hinata-chan!?..." Naruto asked with very red cheeks.

"Do you have any idea how happy I am, they approved our marriage and even set a date! Oh Naruto! I am so happy my darling!"

"Yeah, you're right. I am really happy as well." Naruto stated as he began grinning.

"And you really made me happy when you said you wanted to be my good boy…. Don't mind me if I go to great lengths to make you and keep you just that. Be my good boy." Hinata said in a teasy tone.

"O-Of course Hime. I am…your good boy." He said looking up from her embrace. The two cuddled for some time like that and then parted ways with a soft kiss.

And as Naruto began making his way to his apartment with a grin plastered on his face, much like the one he had after the night during which he and Hinata affirmed their love for each other and slept together cuddling.

"Congratulations kiddo. You handled yourself brilliantly, couldn't have done better myself if I were invited over by your Mom's parents like this." Minato stated.

"Oh, come on darling! They were never this serious." Kushina pouted.

'I think you would have been way more refined and sophisticated than I am Dad. I wonder when I will be able to be as cool as you.' Naruto said in the mindscape.

"You don't have to be." Minato said with a soft smile. "You have your mother's brightness and confidence, the very things I admired and fell in love with so don't worry. For me you are really cool."

'Thanks a ton Dad!' Naruto said with a grin in the mindscape.

And as Naruto made kept walking, he heard the announcement of the new Hokage's inauguration.

'Huh? Didn't Ero-sennin do the inauguration yet? Didn't know he was wating for this long…'

"It seems he was waiting for Tsunade-sama and you. He really cares about you, Naruto." Minato suggested from the mindscape.

"That doesn't absolve him of throwing our baby off that cliff and wating time peeping on bathhouses after leaving him with the barest of hints!" Kushina stated cracking her knuckles.

"Of course, it does not. Nor does it absolve him of the fact that he never came to check on Naruto all these years." Minato agreed.

Naruto gulped seeing his parents smiling too sweetly with all that anger and killing intent leaking out.

'I seriously hope Ero-Sennin doesn't meet them for his own good. He's getting himself a beatdown royale if he does.' Naruto thought to himself.

"That old perv just has it come and he only has himself to blame for it." Kurama stated from the mindscape.

'Makes sense…I guess…' Naruto said/thought.

*Later that day, after lunch*

Everyone had gathered below the Hokage tower. Hinata had come with Hiashi and Hanabi and Naruto immediately joined them and the two lovers stood with hands held softly.

The current and upcoming generations of Ino-Shika-Cho were there as well, with Ino, Shikamaru and Choji all having bandages on their visible body parts. That immediately reminded Naruto of the fact that he needed to apologize to them for the mess the duckbutt teme had caused.

Naruto also caught a glance of Sakura.

"She's really working hard to cope with it…" Hinata commented in a soft tone.

"Yeah, I think we should meet her and the others after this thing's done." Naruto commented.

"Hai."

"How's Neji been these days? I didn't see him when I went to the compound…"

"He is okay…he was resting in his room, Tsunade-sama has prescribed three weeks of complete bedrest for him."

"I see. And is he still being an asshole to you?" Naruto couldn't help ask again.

Hinata shook her head. "Just the day I returned, he came to my room, knelt down, and apologized again and again. He only left after I swore on your and my mother's name that I have forgiven him. He is trying to change himself and open his eyes to the world for real."

"Hmm…so the stick shoved up in his ass is gone for good huh?"

Hinata began giggling. "It seems so…*giggle*"

As the lovers were chatting, some figures appeared on the roof of the tower. First it was Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage.

As he appeared, Naruto noticed that Konohamaru had joined them and was chatting with Hanabi.

"Hey, Konohamaru? It's been a while, how've ya been?" He asked with a grin.

"Naruto nii-san! I am good…still training with the katas you told me about! When are you gonna teach me the next jutsu!?" The little boy asked.

"Soon enough buddy…let's meet tomorrow and see how much you've progressed. Bring your friends along. What do you think Hinata-chan?"

"Sounds good to me. They can join our morning work outs." She added. "Though I doubt they can keep up with the regimen Gai-sensei has given us, that too with the weights attached."

"Yeah, too soon for them. But we can tell some light training…"

"Hai."

Other figures began appearing on the terrace. The Hokage's advisors, Mitakodo Homura and Utatane Koharu, and finally Tsunade.

"Haven't met granny since coming back, we still need to give her that summoning scroll." Naruto murmured.

"You're right. I want to meet with Kurenai-sensei. I never got to meet her after finding out about the team rearrangements."

"Yeah, good idea…"

And finally, Jiraiya made his way to the terrace.

Hiruzen began speaking, enhancing the reach of his voice with a sound amplification jutsu.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, DEAR PEOPLE OF KONOHA. THANK YOU FOR BLESSING US WITH YOUR PRESENCE FOR THE INAUGURATION CEREMONY OF YOUR GODAIME HOKAGE!"

The people clapped and applauded.

"THE NEW HOKAGE IS SOMEONE ALL OF YOU KNOW HE IS A VERY CAPABLE SHINOBI WHOSE FAME PRECEDES HIM AND HE IS ONE MY MOST PRECIOUS STUDENTS! YES, I AM TALKING ABOUT ONE OF THE LEGENDARY SANNIN, JIRAIYA!" Hiruzen announced to a big applause.

"I ALSO MUST USE THIS OCCASION TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR UNWAVERING COOPERATION AND LOYALTY THAT YOU GAVE ME DURING BOTH MY REIGNS AS HOKAGE. I THANK YOU ALL FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. AND I SINCERELY REQUEST YOU ALL THAT YOU GIVE YOUR NEXT HOKAGE THE SAME COOPERATION AND LOYALTY OR EVEN MORE."

And with that, Hiruzen took off the Hokage hat and came closer to Jiraiya.

"AND WITHOUT FURTHER DELAY, LET ME PRESENT YOU YOUR NEW GODAIME HOKAGE, JIRAIYA!" And with that announcement, Hiruzen put the hat on Jiraiya's head.

The toad sage stepped forward as people expectantly looked at him to hear his words.

He took a kabuki stance and everyone began hearing kabuki dance music being played at the back of their ears.

"Is he really gonna do that again?" Naruto said in a deadpan tone. "He really is. The only good thing that can come of this is that nothing I can do will top this as the worst inauguration screw up."

"What Naruto-kun?"

"Don't ask…you'll get it when you see it…" The blonde said in an even more deadpan tone.

"Jiraiya…not that…" Hiruzen tried to caution his student… to no avail as he had already started.

"I AM THE MAN WHO HAS NO ENEMIES IN THE NORTH, SOUTH, EAST AND WEST, NOT EVEN IN THE HIGH HEAVENS!"

"I AM ONE OF THE SANNIN"

With a puff of smoke, a huge orange toad appeared below Jiraiya's feet.

"THE WHITE-HAIRED FROG TAMER AT WHOM EVEN A CRYING BABY WOULD STARE IN AWE, OVER WHOM WOMEN GO CRAZY!"

"Shut up!" Many females shouted from among the audience but Jiraiya continued.

"THE TOAD SAGE OF MOUNT MYOBOKU!"

"THE ONE AND ONLY! YOUR GODAIME! YOURS ONE AND ONLY! THE GALLANT AND GREAT JIRAIYA!"

The toad sage roared his introduction.

Strangely enough, no applause came and most people only stared at the toad sage with sweatdrops and deadpan faces.

"I now get why you were annoyed. There is nothing that could top this." Hinata admitted with a facepalm and a sweat drop.

"I know right." Naruto responded with an equally deadpan tone and face.

"This man is unbelievable…" Kushina said with an annoyed look from the mindscape.

"Yeah, Jiraiya-sensei can be quite the weirdo at times, even if he is as great as he is." Minato stated in a deadpan.

"Humans never fail to amuse with their stupidity. Just when you find the deepest depth of the stupidity they can muster, you find that you are on top of the tallest mountain with many more plunges to go to find the true depth of human stupidity." Kurama commented.

Even the toad Jiraiya had summoned had sweatdropped and needless to say, all the elders gathered at the rooftops.

"He hasn't changed one bit." Hiruzen sighed shaking his head. "I wonder if I really took the right decision by appointing him the Hokage." The old man mumbled.

Tsunade facepalmed and shook her head as the toad vanished in a puff of smoke and Jiraiya came down to the terrace.

"AND I HEREBY ISSUE MY FIRST OFFICIAL ORDER AFTER MY OFFICIAL INAUGURATION! ALL KUNOICHI OF THIS VILLAGE ARE TO WEAR SKIN TIGHT TOPS AND MINI SKIRTS EFFECTIVE FROM TOMORROW!" Jiraiya roared.

In that moment, in a distant world where humans discovered alchemy and the myriad of applications the art could be applied to, a young man in the military gave a speech about reinstating proper discipline once he climbed the ranks, with his first order of business being all women in the military being mandated to wear tiny miniskirts as part of their uniform. He sensed someone in a distant world applying that doctrine and he almost saluted them on principle, only to recoil in horror as he realized it was done for a perverted joke and not for proper discipline. (2)

"WHAT!?"

"SHUT UP PERVERT! RESIGN ALREADY!"

And many other shouts like that rang among the females in the audience.

But most males began applauding.

'ABSOLUTELY RIGHT DECISION NAMING HIM THE HOKAGE!' Hiruzen thought to himself with a perverted smirk.

"THERE'S NO WAY THAT I'M LETTING YOU MAKE HINATA-CHAN WEAR WEIRD STUFF! YOU DAMNED ERO-SENNIN!" Naruto shouted.

Jiraiya was looking at the collective audience with a huge grin on his face with his master order now in place.

"…Jiraiya…" Tsunade called from behind and as he looked back, he found the Senju princess to be smiling sweetly…too sweetly…

"Y-yes, Tsunade-Hime?" He asked in an innocent tone.

Tsunade gradually raised her clenched fist up with some veins popping on her forehead as well as her fist.

"…You're getting too carried away being Hokage…as your advisor…I should make you aware of your limits…" Tsunade stated smiling too sweetly.

"O-Oh…N-No…N-Not…NOT THE PUNCH! NO! W-WAIT…S-SORRY…ORDER RESCINEDED! O-ORDER RESCINDED! W-WAIT! WAAIIIITTT…"

*PUNCH*

*Bammm*

*Thudddd*

And Jiraiya collapsed on the floor of the roof, unconscious with a huge lump on his head.

"AND THAT LADIES AND GENTLE MAN WAS YOUR GODAIME HOKAGE! PLEASE GIVE OUR GODAIME A HUGE ROUND OF APPLAUSE!" Hiruzen announced at the top of his lungs with a huge sweatdrop on the back of his head.

The crowd all applauded.

They had been entertained enough.

E/N: (1) this is actually a Hindu tradition. I found out because of Rank. (2) for those who don't know, this is a reference to Roy Mustang from Full Metal Alchemist. The entire scene of Jiraiya's inauguration had been inspired by a great review from years ago after we revealed that Jiraiya was going to be the Fifth Hokage. I wish I could find it but I can't bare having to dig through all that negativity that broke me on the jokes I used to do and enjoy until people decided to suck the joy out of it. That's all I got: Rank?

A/N: Nothing much to add. Once again, it would be very much appreciated if me and GBAboy313 are intimated before any of you wish to create anything on the internet based on our works. And I would like to sincerely thank granny-griffin for alerting me about this YouTube video on Guardian of the Tailed Beasts. The alert and assistance are sincerely appreciated.

I hope you all had a nice read. This chapter was mostly some humour and talking, nothing on the action side of things, we will get there in due time, for the time being let our heroes enjoy some rest. And with that, see you all in the next chapter, next year.

RaNK001 signing off. Cheers and peace.
