In the Kokiri Forest,All the Children had their own guardian fairies,except Link,who had nightmares about a girl fleeing from a Wicked. The Great Deku Tree sends the fairy,Navi to summon Link. He tells Link has been cursed by the wicked man. With his final breath,He bestows upon Link the Spiritual Stone of the forest,the Kokiri's Emerald.
Link travels to Hyrule where he met Princess Zelda,the girl from his nightmare. She warns Link about Ganondorf,a Wicked Man from his nightmare,who plans on stealing the Triforce of legend from the Sacred Realm. With the Power of the Goddesses,Ganondorf would require not only the Spiritual Stones of Hyrule,but also the mystical Ocarina of Time. She tells him to retrieve two more Spiritual Stones from the Gorons & Zoras. He returns to the castle where he sees Zelda forced to flee with Impa. She throws the Ocarina into the moat. Ganondorf appears & speeds off in pursuit. Link retrieves the Ocarina & played the songs of time in front of the Temple of Time and proceeds to use the three Spiritual Stones to open the Door of Time. Beyond it lies the Master Sword,resting in the Pedestal of Time. Link draws the blade,unlocking the gateway to the Sacred Realm. Then,Ganondorf,who suspected what Link is up to,crosses over the Sacred Realm.
Seven Years Later,a grown-up Link is awakened by Rauru,the Chamber of the Sage,who explains that the Master Sword was by the Goddess,Hylia & was wielded by the Great Warrior to defeat the Demon King,Demise. He also said that Ganondorf has obtained one of the Triforce. He urges Link to seek out 6 more sages. Link met Sheik,one of the survivors of the Sheikah,who tells him that five remaining Sages in five temples are mentioned in the legend,which are scattered throughout Hyrule.
At the Kokiri Forest,Link met the Deku Tree Sprout,who reveals that the Great Warrior was a Hylian,who was perished during the war. His daughter & her child fled to the forest,but she was gravely injured. Her only choice was to entrust the child to the Deku Tree. The Tree could sense that the child will be destined for great things. Link realized that the child was him.
Link has awakened five sages. With Only one left,Link returns to the Temple of Time and encounters Sheik again. Sheik turned out to be Zelda,who reveals herself as the Seventh Sage. She tells him about the Triforce is a scale that measures the three virtues ruled by the Golden Goddesses:Power,Wisdom,& Courage. Link has the Triforce of Courage,Zelda has the Triforce of Wisdom,& Ganondorf has the Triforce of Power. She gets captured by Ganondorf,who reveals that He is the reincarnation of Demise & Zelda is the reincarnation of Hylia. He brings her to the castle.
Link goes there & break the barriers with the Sages help. He confronts Ganondorf in a battle. After defeating him,Link frees Zelda & quickly escape the collapsed castle. Ganondorf emerges & transforms into Ganon. As Link battles with him,Zelda holds down Ganon,allowing Link to defeat him. The Seven Sages seals Ganondorf in the Dark Realm,still holding the Triforce of Power,he vows revenge on their descendants. Zelda uses the Ocarina of Time to sent Link back to his childhood. Navi departs & Young Link meets Zelda once more.
