Omake 1 - When you turn a corner earlier in Albuquerque.

A white light blinded Edzard and Asia. When they opened their eyes, they were astonished to see that beneath them was a field covered with hills, meadows, and pine forests. Edzard began to fly south as he watched the field stretch to the horizon.

Edzard looked around and decided to fly south, hoping to find a place to rest before nightfall. After flying for a pair of hours, he felt his transformation begin to end, therefore, he descended and landed in a clearing. When he returned to his human form, he fell to his knees. He didn't know the reason, but now he felt his reserves almost depleted. Looking around him he could see Asia and Marie in the same state as him.

When they could get back up, they surveyed the place. Realizing there was no danger nearby, they built their camp. After a simple dinner, everyone entered the tent to rest.

The sun was high as they continued walking. Edzard carried the backpack with all the possessions, while Asia carried Marie in her arms. They were all dressed in fur capes to better keep warm.

As he walked, Edzard wondered where they were. He had already figured out that they were no longer in Nirm thanks to the fact that at night he discovered that there was only a single white moon in the sky. Besides that, he also discovered that his magic reserves were regenerating very slowly.

'What world have we ended up in?' Edzard thought worriedly, since he doubted they were on Earth.

They walked for hours until they found a perfect place to rest.

"Let's rest here." Edzard said, dropping his backpack to the ground.

Asia nodded and put Marie down.

Quickly setting up their camp temporarily, they began to cook lunch. After eating a lunch of pheasant and potatoes, they decided to rest for a few moments before continuing on their journey.

Edzard was sitting while Asia rested resting her head on him lap, but she was not the only one resting, since Marie was sleeping on her mother's breast. Edzard smiled as he ran his hand over his wife's hair; however, he stopped abruptly when he heard footsteps.

"Ed?" Asia asked when she saw Edzard look with narrowed eyes towards some trees that were nearby. "What's the matter?"

"Footsteps. By the sound, there are ten people." Edzard said.

Edzard's tone of voice told her many things, so Asia got up from her husband's lap and walked towards the tent.

As Asia walked, Marie woke up.

"Easy Marie. Don't come out until I tell you."

Marie nodded and got into the tent.

Seeing her daughter already inside the tent, Asia created a barrier over the tent. Taking a bow and arrows, she approached Edzard.

Edzard positioned himself in front of Asia and brought his hand to the pommel of his steel sword. Asia positioned herself behind Edzard and put an arrow in her bow.

Several silhouettes emerged from the nearby trees. As Edzard had said, there were ten individuals, who by the garments should be bandits.

"Wow. Look guys." Said one of the bandits as they looked at Edzard and Asia.

"It seems we are lucky." Said another bandit taking a stone ax. "We have met two more Southerners. One of them being a pretty girl. I ask for the first turn."

Edzard frowned. He was about to kill them for daring to speak like that about his wife, but he stopped when he saw that the last two of the group were carrying two gagged children.

"Asia. When I give you the signal, shoot those closest to us. " Edzard whispered as low as he could.

Asia nodded and subtly tightened his bow.

Edzard took a step and spoke. "I will give you a warning. Leave those two gagged children behind and get out before I kill you."

The bandits stood still for a few seconds and then began to laugh.

"Hahaha. How funny. You? Kill us?" the bandit asked mockingly.

Edzard tightened his grip on his sword. He didn't know what capabilities these guys would have, since being in another world could make them as strong as a giant or that kind of thing.

"Already boss. Let's kill him at once. Then we must have fun with the girl." Said another bandit licking his lips.

The bandit chief approached Edzard, who made no sign of moving. Standing a few feet away, he believed Edzard was paralyzed with fear. So he charged.

Edzard saw the bandit charge at him, and he smiled instantly. The bandit's speed was extremely slow, so slow that he looked like he was fighting children. Drawing his sword from his sheath, he charged at the bandit. When they were face to face, he gave a quick cut and beheaded the bandit.

The rest of the bandits looked dumbfounded as Edzard had killed their boss. To them, Edzard had disappeared and reappeared.

"What …? What are you…?" asked a bandit as he drew his weapon.

Edzard did not respond verbally. Raising his hand, he beckoned to Asia, who upon seeing the sign shot an arrow. The arrow flew quickly and struck the head of another bandit.

"Dammit! Let's kill them at once!" yelled another bandit.

The bandits nodded and charged Edzard and Asia.

Asia saw the bandits arrive and started shooting arrows quickly. Each arrow struck the head of a bandit. When she stopped shooting, she saw that Edzard had finished killing the remaining bandits.

"They are very weak." Edzard said as he sheathed his sword and then walked towards the bodies.

When he got to the children, he saw the characteristics of both. One was red-haired and pale-skinned. The other was brown-haired with a slightly long face. Carrying them, he led them towards the camp.

While Edzard was picking up the children, Asia had walked over to the tent. Opening it, she saw Marie poke her head out of it.

"Is it over already?" asked Marie.

Asia nodded in response.

Marie came out of the tent and saw her father approach with two unconscious boys in both arms.

When Edzard got to the tent, he left the boys on fur sacks.

Upon seeing both children, Asia began to check them and heal their wounds with her sacred gear, as she currently did not have much magic. After a few moments, both children were completely healed.

"We will have to stay here until they both wake up." Edzard said.

Asia nodded as she took her daughter's hand.

Jon Snow began to move as he woke up. Opening his eyes he saw that he was in an unknown place.

'Where am I?' Jon thought.

As he looked around the place, he remembered what had happened.

He had traveled with his father and brother to the lands of the Umber to see a matter involving vassals. While his father was in a meeting, he and his brother had gone out for a walk in the vicinity. Out of nowhere they had been attacked by Wildings, who knocked them unconscious.

"Robb!" Jon yelled looking for his brother.

Looking frantically around him, he could see his brother lounging on a fur sack.

"Robb." Jon said approaching his brother. When he got to his side, he saw that his brother was asleep and that he was unharmed.

"Wow. So you've already woken up. "

Jon turned around at the voice. As he did so he saw a young man enter the tent. The young man was not alone, since next to him were a young woman and a little girl.

"Who are you?" Jon asked defensively.

Edzard looked at the boy and gave a kind smile. Approaching, he knelt in front of the boy and spoke.

"Quiet. We will not hurt them."

Jon relaxed, the young man didn't seem like someone bad.

"To answer your question. My name is Edzard Cumberland Rolandson." Edzard said as he pointed to himself. "The beautiful woman next to me is my wife, Asia Argento Cumberland. And this beautiful girl is our daughter, Marie Argento Cumberland Edzarddottïr."

Jon blinked at the long names the strangers had. Remembering his etiquette classes he introduced himself. "A pleasure. My name is Jon Snow. And the one next to me is my brother Robb Stark."

Edzard blinked in confusion. 'Brothers with different surnames?'

"Boy. Why do they have different surnames if they are siblings?"

Jon lowered his head when he heard the question.

"We are half-brothers."

Edzard understood immediately what was happening. So he raised his hand and made Jon stop.

"I already understand what happens. So don't say anything else."

Jon nodded.

"So, Jon. I can call you Jon, right?" Edzard asked.

Jon nodded.

"Well. Where are we exactly? "

Jon blinked in confusion. "Don't you know where they are?"

Edzard denied.

"They are in the North." Jon said.

"The North?" asked Asia.

"Yes. The North." Jon replied looking at Asia.

"The north of what continent or kingdom?" Edzard asked.

"The North of Westeros."

Edzard put his hand to his chin. Sighing, he knew what was happening. They had ended up in a completely different world than the one they were trying to get to. Unfortunately, he could not create another portal thanks to his magic reserves not recovering as fast as expected. Currently, he poetry only two percent of his Magicka reserves. That wouldn't even serve to open a portal for five seconds.

"Jon. How is magic around this continent? "

Jon looked at Edzard as if he had two heads. "According to Maester Luwin, magic has long since died out."

"I see. That explains a lot of things."

Jon wanted to ask why he said that, but he couldn't, since at that moment Robb began to wake up.

"Robb!" Jon yelled as he ran to his brother.

Robb Stark slowly started to get up as he put a hand to his head. Looking around, he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw his brother.

"Jon. Thank the gods you're okay."

"I say the same ."

"Jon. Where we are? What happened to the wildlings?"

"Easy brother. They are gone."

Robb Stark didn't know what Jon was referring to. "What do you mean, Jon?"

"Edzard took care of them."

"Edzard?" Robb asked.

"Ahh. True, you still don't know him. "

Turning his head, Jon saw Edzard and his family looking at them. Robb looked in the same direction as his brother and was surprised when he saw three people.

"Robb. I present to you our saviors. The man is Edzard, the woman Asia and the girl is called Marie. "

Robb tried to get up to greet them properly, but couldn't, as his legs gave out and he nearly fell to the ground. Fortunately, Edzard had reacted quickly and caught him before he fell.

"Be careful boy. You won't want to pass out again."

Robb flushed with embarrassment as Edzard smirked.

"Ed. Don't make fun of the children." Asia said hitting Edzard on the head.

Edzard pouted and left Robb in the sleeping bag.

Both Jon and Robb watched what was happening with complete curiosity and confusion. For them, the way Edzard and Asia treated each other was not something they saw very often. In fact, they doubted that Lord and Lady Stark would treat each other that way.

Stopping joking with his wife, Edzard sat across from the brothers.

"Well. Since you are awake, you can tell me how you ended up in this situation."

Robb and Jon began to recount the situation.

"I see. So they decided to go out and play without protection. So they ended up being kidnapped by these wildlings."

Both Jon and Robb nodded.

"Are they idiots or just reckless?" Edzard asked.

Both brothers blushed, as they did not know what to answer.

Sighing, Edzard got up from where he was sitting. "Well. Tomorrow we will travel to that castle from where they were kidnapped."

The group consisting of Edzard, Asia, Marie, Jon and Robb walked the royal road to the Last Heart fortress. They had left early in the morning so that they could cover the greatest amount of distance before nightfall again. As they walked, Edzard kept thinking about how to explain to a lord that he hadn't kidnapped his children. If they were lucky, there would be no problems, but if not, well, he would add a few more numbers to their already large number of lives taken.

The sky had started to turn red when Edzard heard the sound of horse hooves heading towards them. Stopping, he brought his hand to the hilt of his sword.

"Ed?" asked Asia.

"Riders. By the sound of the horses' hooves, there are about fifteen."

Both Robb and Jon were surprised that Edzard could hear the riders when they had heard nothing.

Seconds after Edzard spoke, various riders appeared.

A group of riders was dressed in chainmail with white surcoats with a running gray wolf. The other group of riders were dressed in a red surcoat with a man breaking chains as an emblem.

One of the riders who was dressed completely in black recognized Jon and Robb.

"Robb. Jon." Said the man approaching them.

"Uncle Benjen!" both children yelled in unison.

Edzard watched them run up to the man and hug him. He also saw them talking to him. A few moments later, the man approached Edzard.

"I suppose you are the uncle of these children." Edzard said looking at the man approaching.

The man was a young man in his twenties. He had a long face, brown hair and blue eyes. He was slim build. He wore black leather armor, with boots, gloves, and a cloak of the same color.

"Yes. My name is Benjen Stark. " Benjen said. "My nephews have told me what happened. I would like to thank you in some way for saving their lives."

Edzard shook his head. He didn't want to get in trouble. But when Edzard was about to leave, Benjen stopped him by putting a hand on his shoulder.

"I would like you to join us."

Edzard looked Benjen in the eye. For a second, he was tempted to unleash his bloodlust and knock everyone out, but he decided not to. If several guards were looking for these children, it was for some reason. So, with a sigh, he nodded.

Edzard and Asia were in the great hall of Last hearth. The hall was so spacious that at least nearly a hundred people could easily fit inside. Two lords were gathered at a table at the top of the room. According to what Benjen Stark had told him, the lords present were Lord Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Guardian of the North and to his right was Lord Jon Umber, Lord of Last Hearth.

Eddard Stark, colloquially called Ned, was a twenty-five-year-old man. His face was long, his eyes were gray, and his hair was dark. He wore a leather jerkin with wool pants and leather boots.

Jon Umber, also called GreatJon was a tall, muscular man who wore chain mail over a brown surcoat.

Eddard Stark got up and spoke.

"Edzard Cumberland Rolandson, right?"

The voice of the man at the high table had a certain authority and reminded Edzard of General Tulio.

"Yes my lord." Edzard replied.

"Show the respect your lord deserves, boy." GreatJon said when he saw that Edzard did not kneel.

Edzard just looked at the castle lord and spoke. "You are wrong about something. He is not my lord, as I have not sworn allegiance to any of you. "

GreatJon clenched his fists and tried to get up, but was stopped by Ned.

"Ned?" GreatJon asked confused.

"The boy is right, Jon. From what my children have told me, this young man is not from these lands. So he owes no loyalty to anyone." Eddard replied as he looked at Edzard.

Edzard smiled inwardly at the futile attempt of the Lord of Winterfell to intimidate him. So to show that he wasn't afraid, he looked back at him.

Eddard blinked in amazement as the young man who had saved his children stared back at him as if he was not afraid of him. He instinctively almost took a step back, as that young man's eyes were similar to the eyes that all war veterans had.

"My children have told me what has happened. It is true that what you have done is something that would be expected of the inhabitants of the north, but I never thought that someone who did not know our land would put the safety of strangers before their own."

Asia snorted when she heard that, which sort of caught the attention of the Lords.

Seeing that she had become the focus of attention in the room, Asia blushed.

"Excuse me miss, did you find my question funny?"

Eddard Stark's voice sent a shiver down Asia's spine as it reminded her of Edzard's voice when he was serious.

Taking a breath, she decided to speak. "No, my lord. It's just that you don't know my husband. He usually does that. He saves others without caring for his own safety."

Eddard put his hand to his chin when he heard what the young man's wife said. If what he said was true, the boy was a good man. Sighing, he relaxed his posture and decided to have a more casual conversation.

"I see. The truth is that I would like to thank you for saving my children. " Ned said as he sat down. "Although I would like to know who they really are."

Edzard and Asia looked at each other and nodded. Taking a step forward, Edzard spoke.

"Well. As I told his children, my full name is Edzard Cumberland Rolandson. My wife's name is Asia Argento Cumberland. And our daughter's name is Marie Argento Cumberland Edzarddottïr."

The GreatJon whistled at the long names.

"Those are very long names." Jon said.

Edzard smiled. "Yes they are. But they are not all names. The term Rolandson in my name translates to «Son of Roland». while Argento is the surname my wife received at the orphanage where she grew up. Finally, the term Edzarddottïr literally means «Daughter of Edzard»."

"I see. They are a kind of non-noble surname that they possess, but you haven't mentioned Cumberland at all."

"Yes. About that." Edzard said as he scratched the back of his neck. "Cumberland is the name of the noble house to which both my wife and I belong."

"Noble house?" Eddard asked confused. "Are you both noble?"

"Yes. We both belong to the Cumberland household." Asia replied.

"Wait. So does she belong to that house by marriage?"

Asia denied. "No. I was born as the daughter of Marcoryan Cumberland. And my husband was born to Selene Cumberland."

The GreatJon looked at Edzard and asked. "Your father was not noble?"

That question was because normally it is the name of the father's house that endures.

"My father was also noble, but they were both from different places. In Skyrim, my father's homeland, noble house names are not commonly used. Furthermore, my father was directly descended from High King Jorunn."

That answer stunned Eddard and GreatJon.

"Do you have proof of what you say?"

Edzard nodded and reached into a pocket in his backpack. From that pocket he took out some objects. These objects were three scrolls and a thick book. Walking, Edzard approached the table and placed the documents there.

Eddard saw the documents and began to read them carefully. One of those documents certified the noble origin of the couple in front of him. In fact, his lineage was very extensive, almost over a thousand years old. Such a lineage put them in almost the same seniority category as many of the oldest noble houses in Westeros. Putting that scroll aside, Eddard saw another. On that scroll it was written that Edzard was a knight and a Thane. While he didn't know that he was a Thane, he did know that he was a Knight. Finally, the book was a chronicle of the last hundred years of the Cumberland house. In this book, Ned read about the exploits of Edzard's father and Edzard himself. Looking up, he spoke.

"These documents appear to be real, but I will still have the maester of this castle review it. Then I will have my own maester endorse it."

Edzard nodded.

"I suppose we can end the talk. Tomorrow we will continue." Eddard said getting up from his chair.

The GreatJon also got up and ordered his servants to prepare a room for Edzard and his family.

Eddard Stark was in his study at Winterfell Castle. It had been a year since the day he almost lost his two children. He knew he would lie if he mentioned that he hadn't been about to summon all of his banners to attack the lands beyond the wall. Fortunately he didn't have to, as his two sons were saved by someone whom he now would consider to be a good friend.

When he returned to Winterfell after that day, he gave Maester Luwin the documents Edzard had given him. Two days later, the maester confirmed that these documents were real and that, therefore, Edzard and his family were noble. In the end, he had decided to enlist Edzard's services as a knight.

Currently, he and his family lived in a medium-sized house in Winter Town.

Edzard worked as a kind of Knight Errant, as he traveled the northern lands hunting bandits and ridding the land of danger. In fact, Edzard had gained fame and renown for it. Asia, for her part, had built a reputation as a healer. The potions created by her were capable of curing a large number of diseases. Although, she had also gained a reputation as a woman capable of giving you a beating if you tried to overstep with her. Marie had become a girl very dear to the residents of the castle.

'It's amazing that a girl her age can speak so well and fluently.' thought Ned. He had been surprised to see a three-year-old speak like an older child. In fact, it was funny to see Robb and Jon lose arguments with the girl.

Thinking of his son Jon, he began to remember a conversation he had with Edzard.

Flashback

"Do you want Jon as your squire?" Eddard asked in amazement.

"Yes. The boy has potential to be a great warrior. " Edzard replied.

Eddard leaned back in his chair as he thought about the request Edzard had just made of him. While he wanted to keep the only child he had with Ashara close to him, this opportunity was unique. Jon was his illegitimate son and by law he couldn't inherit anything, but a knighthood would be a good thing for him.

"Ed. Why take Jon and not Robb?"

Edzard sighed. "That is easy. Robb is your heir and he will get Winterfell, but Jon will get nothing. So I want him to have something to be proud of and that he can call his own."

Eddard nodded. He knew what Edzard was referring to. But still he was worried. He didn't want his son to leave his home. So he started to think, after a few minutes he had made up his mind.

End of Flashback

Eddard was snapped out of his thoughts when the door to his study was abruptly opened. Turning his head, he saw Maester Luwin enter with a scroll in hand.

"Maester. What's going on?" Ned asked concerned, since the maester's face was sweaty and he was short of breath. It was as if he had run from his tower to the study.

"A raven from Kings Landing, my lord."

'Kings Landing?' Eddard thought worriedly.

"Has something happened to the King?" Eddard asked concerned about his old friend.

The maester did not respond verbally, but handed the scroll to his lord.

Eddard Stark received the scroll and read it.

Ned.

The krakens have rebelled.

Reading that, Ned clenched his fists. Looking at the maester, he spoke.

"Master. Call the banners."

Ned looked at the fireplace in his study and sighed. Calling the guard guarding his door, he ordered her to call his family.

Asia was sitting in front of the fireplace in her living room. In front of her, Edzard was playing with Marie.

"Ha, ha, ha. Dad, stop." Said Marie laughing while her father tickled her.

"No. This is your punishment for not eating your vegetables." Edzard said as he increased the speed with which he tickled his daughter.

Asia smiled when she saw that scene.

'Three more months and you can meet your family.' Asia thought with a smile as she rubbed her bulging belly. She is currently in her sixth month of pregnancy. The news had cheered her family, Edzard had smiled like crazy that day and Marie kept asking when her little brother or sister would arrive.

While she and Edzard had been happy, they were also worried. She was not supposed to be able to get pregnant that easily, as the immortality they had obtained thanks to Edzard should lower her birth rate enormously. After several studies, Edzard had conclude that they had lost immortality. In fact, Edzard's dragon aspect had returned to what it had been before, that is to say, he was enveloped in energy armor.

Another discovery they had made was that magic was almost extinct in this world. And every time they tried to use spells like fireballs they couldn't, since the magic was dragged north. The only magics they could use were those to strengthen their bodies and those to heal wounds.

Not being able to use spells had made them decide to stay in this world and not try to go to Earth.

The peace of the family was interrupted when a knock was heard on the door.

"Who can it be at this hour?" asked Asia.

"Do not know." Edzard replied as he stopped tickling his daughter and got up.

Leaving Marie with Asia, he walked to the door and when he opened it, he was greeted by Ser Rodrick.

"Ser Rodrick." Greetings Edzard. "What happened to make you knock on my door so late?"

"War, Ser Edzard. Lord Stark has ordered that his banners be summoned."

The reply from Winterfell's master-at-arms made Edzard sigh.

'Ah, shit. Here we go again.' Edzard thought.

A month had passed since the night Ser Rodrick had told Edzard they were going to war. He was currently standing at the gates of Winterfell. Next to him were Asia and Marie.

"This is the second time I have fired you before you go to war." Asia said as she looked at Edzard in his new armor.

Edzard wore armor consisting of an ebony chainmail over a blue gambeson. In addition, he had shoulder pads, bracers, legplates and greaves, all these pieces of armor were also forged in ebony. Over his chain mail he wore a light blue surcoat that bore the heraldry of House Cumberland. A rampant silver lion on an azure background. The new armor had been forged by him a few months ago and the surcoat had been made by Asia.

"I know, but calm down. Wars here seem to be easier." Edzard said with a smile.

"Why would they be easier?" asked Asia confused.

"Easy. There are no mages here."

Asia shook her head at Edzard's reply.

"Here." Asia said as she handed Edzard his sword.

Edzard took the sword and fastened it on his belt. Then he felt a tug on his surcoat. Looking down, he saw that his daughter was giving him the helmet. Smiling, Edzard took the helmet and ruffled his daughter's hair.

Marie pouted, but then smiled. "Good luck. Dad."

"Thanks daughter. Be good and listen to your mother." Edzard said as he leaned down and kissed Marie on the forehead.

Marie smiled and looked at her feet. "I promise."

This action made Edzard smile. When his daughter acted like this, it meant that she would not deliver what she promised.

"Well, I guess it's a see you later." Edzard said taking Asia's hands in his.

Asia smiled sadly as tears started to fall down her cheeks. She felt sad. It was like going back to the days when Edzard fought in the second great war.

Edzard looked at her, took off his gloves and reaching out his hand wiped his wife's cheeks. "Easy. I will be back. I promise you"

Asia nodded and then kissed her husband.

When they parted, a young man leading a horse approached Edzard.

"Ser." Said the young man bowing to Edzard.

The young man's name was Harwin, and he was the son of Winterfell's stable boy.

"Thanks Harwin." Edzard said as he took the reins of his horse from him.

Edzard's horse was a night-black Destrier. The horse had a proud and noble bearing that no other horse possessed in the whole north. It was thinner than a normal charger, but it was stronger and tougher than they. This was because Edzard had been feeding him food from Nirm. This food made this horse not need as much food as a normal Destrier.

Looking at his wife for the last time, Edzard walked over and kissed her.

"Hey. Stop being sweet with your wife that you make those of us who are single envious." Jory Cassel said approaching Edzard.

"Then you should get married, Jory." Edzard said when he parted with Asia.

"And give up my freedom. No thanks."

Edzard shook his head and climbed onto his horse. Taking the reins, he spun the horse.

"Bye, Ed." Asia said as she took Marie's hand.

"Goodbye dad!" yelled Marie as she said goodbye to him.

Edzard nodded and began to walk away with the Stark army.

Night had fallen over the island of Pyke as Edzard watched as the Siege engines fired continuously at the castle of the same name as the island. He was currently inside Lord Stark's tent.

"When do you think we will storm the fortress?" Jorah Mormont asked.

"Do not know. But it is likely that at dawn we will make another attack." Medger Cerwin replied.

"HA. This time I'll make sure to finish off as many squid as I can." GreatJon said.

Edzard looked at the assembled lords and smiled. For him, it was like going back to Skyrim and seeing the Jarls reunited. While they were different, each was similar in some way to the Jarls.

"Hey Ed. Come!" yelled GreatJon as he saw Edzard peering through the tent door toward the castle.

Edzard sighed and walked over to the table. When he arrived, he sat on a chair.

"How do you see the siege?" Ned asked.

"It is going well. If we are lucky, there could be a gap in two days or even less time."

"I see. Hopefully you're right."

Edzard nodded.

When all the other lords had left, the tent was opened and a large man entered.

"Ned!" the man yelled.

Eddard and Edzard immediately knelt.

"Your majesty." They both said in unison.

Damn it, Ned. Get up!" Robert Baratheon yelled.

Eddard got up, but Edzard remained on his knees.

"And who is this?" Robert asked looking at Edzard.

"Your Majesty, I would like to introduce you to Edzard Cumberland." Eddard replied introducing Edzard.

"The damned «Lion of the North»." Robert said in amazement. "Damn it boy. Get up."

Edzard grimaced slightly. He would rather be called dragon of the north than lion of the north, but he couldn't do that, as Robert's hatred of anything related to the Targaryens would cause him to attack his family. The nickname was given to him by the northern settlers after the emblem of his house. After he stopped grimacing, he got up and got a good look at the King of Westeros.

The king was someone tall, as he would easily be almost six feet tall. His hair was black and he had bright blue eyes. Although he looked sturdy, Edzard could see a bit of fat beginning to appear on the monarch's body.

"I thought someone of such renown would be someone old." Said Robert seeing Edzard from all sides.

Edzard bit his tongue to keep from mockingly replying. Normally in Nirm he wouldn't have cared, but he chose not to avoid trouble for Eddard.

As Robert looked at Edzard, two men entered the tent.

The first was an older man with a gray head and blue eyes. The old man's bearing made Edzard remember Kodlak. The second was an attractive young man with blond hair and green eyes. Both wore the same white plate armor, with shields and long cloaks of the same color.

Robert sat down in one of the chairs and ordered everyone to sit down.

Edzard sat down next to Eddard. The king and the others began to tell about the battles in which they had fought. After a few moments, the king turned and saw Edzard.

"So, how many wars have you fought?"

"With this would be three wars, your majesty."

"Three?" Barristan Selmy asked.

"Yes, Ser. Three. The first was the Rebellion of the Stormcloaks. The second, the second great war between the Empire and the Dominion."

"Empire? Dominion?" Jaime Lannister asked.

"The two largest kingdoms in my homeland. They both fought twice. And both wars were devastating."

And so Edzard began to tell them about the wars he had fought in.

The sound of the soldiers' screams of pain and agony filled the battlefield as archers on both sides launched barrage after barrage of arrows.

Edzard stood with his shield raised, stopping the arrows that the enemies were throwing at him. While around him, many unfortunate soldiers died from enemy arrows.

The assault on the fortress had started at dawn, which meant they had no more than three hours of combat. In this short period of time, the siege machinery had not been able to make any breaches in the walls of Pyke Castle. So they had decided to storm the castle with ladders. Unfortunately, they had not been able to take any of the walls.

'If this continues, many more lives will be lost before we manage to take the wall.' Edzard thought as he looked at the walls.

Taking a deep breath, he began to gather magic in his legs. When he felt him body strengthened, he started running towards the ramparts. As he ran, he discarded his shield and took the sword from a fallen soldier.

The Greyjoy archers saw Edzard running towards the wall and began shooting arrows at him.

Edzard narrowed his eyes as he saw the arrows heading his way. Taking a deep breath, he began deflecting every arrow that threatened to hit him. His movements were so fast and fluid that no arrow could hit him. As he did so, he did not realize that many of the king's soldiers saw him do something that many would consider impossible.

"For the seven hells." Barristan said upon seeing such a display of skill, as it was the first time he had seen someone deflect arrows with swords while he was running.

When Edzard was only a few meters from the walls, he took a colossal leap, then ran down the zigzag walls. When he got to the top of the wall, he started killing every soldier he encountered. He was killing the soldiers for several minutes and when he saw that there were no more he started running in the direction of the gate. When he got to the gate he found him protected by several Greyjoy soldiers. Wasting no time, Edzard began attacking and killing them. Minutes later, there was no Greyjoy soldier alive in the area. So, walking, he lowered the lever and opened the gate for the attacking army.

The attacking soldiers watched in amazement as the castle gate opened. When the gate was fully open, Robert Baratheon ordered charge.

While the battle for Pyke was taking place, Asia found herself on a bed sweating and feeling such excruciating pain that it caused her to mentally curse her husband for putting her in this situation.

"I can already see the head. You just need to push a bit more." Luwin said.

"Arggg…!" screamed Asia as she kept pushing.

She had gone into labor early that day. Fortunately for her, Lord Stark had ordered that she and her daughter stay at the castle. He had also ordered Luwin to assist in the birth of the child.

"Just a little more." Luwin said.

Asia gave one last push and felt something come out of her. The newborn's cry echoed throughout the room.

"It's already out." Luwin said, taking the baby in his arms, after cutting the umbilical cord, he called a maid to bring hot water.

"Congratulations, it's a boy." Luwin said handing Asia her son wrapped in blankets.

Asia spread her arms and welcomed her son. Looking at him, she could see her son sleeping.

"Hello. It's nice to finally meet you, my little Roland." Asia said as tears of joy fell down her cheeks.

"Roland?" asked Maester Luwin.

"Yes. It is the name of Edzard's father, the name that one of the best centurions the Empire ever had."

The sun had already set while Edzard faced Robert Baratheon and Eddard Stark. The battle had ended at noon thanks to Edzard having used the same maneuver to open the doors of the castles that made up Pyke.

"It's kind of a joke?" Edzard asked not believing what the document in front of him said.

"No, Ed. It's not a joke." Eddard replied.

"Did the other northern lords agree to this?"

"Strangely yes. Everyone agreed."

"But…"

"Damn it boy. Take the damn reward and go." Robert said losing patience.

Edzard sighed and reread the paper in front of him for the umpteenth time.

In the name of Robert Baratheon the first of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Kingdom.

Let all know that Ser Edzard is granted the lands located to the Northwest of the Rills and to the southeast of Sea Dragon Point and the Wolfwood, to settle there and rule as Lord of the Stony Shore henceforth. Edzard Cumberland and his children and grandchildren will retain and enjoy these honors until the end of time, and all the lords of that region will honor him as his rightful lord.

Edzard could only think how ironic this was. He had left Aurbis to avoid being emperor, but now he was a lord. Fortunately, he would not have to rule an entire continent, just a small piece of land.

'Speaking of a small piece of land. How big is my fiefdom?' Thought Edzard.

"Excuse me. How big is my fiefdom?"

"It's about 800,000 acres." Eddard replied with a smile.

Edzard stood still for a moment. He didn't know how to answer that. That was not small. His damn fiefdom was colossal.

"Wait. Why so much?" Edzard asked confused.

"Ed. Do you know how long the north is?"

Edzard denied, since he did not know how long the north was.

"The north measures 505,734,769.504 acres." Eddard said

"And the seven kingdoms measure 1,408,500,674 acres in their entirety." Robert said.

The walls of Winterfell were visible in the distance as Edzard rode alongside his retinue of twenty horsemen. These were the soldiers who lived in the nearby towns where the tower that would be their home was. Currently they were with Eddard Stark's entourage.

There had been five hundred Stony Shore men in the army. Of these five hundred, one hundred had died in the war. When he learned of this, Edzard had ordered his men to search for the corpses of his companions. When he saw the corpses gathered, Edzard ordered that they be gathered by town of origin. After that the corpses were burned and the ashes were placed in urns that would go with the survivors of each town.

The gesture Edzard had made, coupled with his reputation and the skills displayed in battle, had made his men respect him.

'How do I tell Asia that we will now live in a castle?' Edzard thought.

When they reached the outskirts of the castle, Edzard saw that all the inhabitants had gathered to greet Eddard.

When Eddard dismounted from his horse, they all knelt. After walking a few steps, he told them that they could get up.

Edzard dismounted from his horse and searched for his family. When he saw the peculiar lock of Asia's hair, he smiled. He walking he came closer and saw his wife smiling as she held a small bundle of furs.

Edzard hadn't taken many steps when he had to duck to catch his daughter.

"Dad!" Marie yelled as she smiled.

Edzard picked up his daughter and started spinning her.

"Hello Marie. Have you behaved well? "

"Yes. I've been doing my homework and helping Mom take care of Roland."

Edzard blinked and then smiled. Kissing his daughter on the forehead, he walked over to his wife.

"Ed." Asia greeted her husband.

Edzard did not respond verbally, but instead kissed her. When they parted, Edzard turned his head and saw his son.

"Hello. Roland. I'm your father." Edzard said as he watched his son look at him with him green eyes.

Hugging his wife, Edzard began to thank her. "Thanks. Thanks."

Asia shook her head and then kissed him.

The wind blew across the plains as Edzard, his entourage, and a carriage traveled toward the Stony Shore. They had been living in Winterfell until the castle that would be their home was finished.

Half a year had already passed since the end of the Greyjoy rebellion. In the end, Balon Greyjoy had to kneel and pay homage to Robert Baratheon. He had lost his eldest children in the war. The first, on the walls of Seagard. The second, killed by Edzard. In the end, only the youngest son remained, who was now Eddard Stark's hostage.

Edzard slowed his horse's pace and stood beside the carriage where Asia, Marie, and Roland were riding.

"How are they in there?" Edzard asked.

"We are fine. Roland is asleep, but Marie is bored and I'm afraid she will do something that will cause him to wake up." Asia replied.

"I see. Fortunately, we are already close."

"Seriously." Asia said excitedly.

Edzard nodded.

When the group was at the top of the hill, Edzard was able to see his new home. The original stone tower had been toppled and a large castle had been built.

The castle was located on a small island surrounded by the sea. This island was linked to the mainland by a large stone bridge seven meters wide. The castle was made of gray stone and was similar in style to Wyrest Castle. The castle was circular with two walls, the external one being twice as large as the internal one. Each wall had eight towers with battlements. The outer wall was twenty-five meters high and the inside thirty. In the center of both rings of walls was a great tiered tower of forty meters. This central tower was square and consisted of fifteen floors. This tower was Akatosh's last gift to Edzard, this tower was special as inside it contained a lot of treasures and many paintings that showed Edzard's story as a hero.

"Is that our new home?" Marie asked as she and her mother stuck their heads out of the carriage window.

"Yes. This is our new home. Wyrest Castle. " Edzard replied. He and Asia had chosen the name of the castle they would have lived in in another life, a way where they were both born in the Second Era.

They continued traveling for a while until they reached the entrance to the main tower. On the outskirts were all the servants and members of his household. They all knelt when they saw the Cumberland family arrive.

Edzard saw them and dismounted. He then helped Asia and Marie down. As they walked to get a better view of the castle, Rolland woke up from his nap and his little eyes fell on the castle.

"We are in home." Edzard said as he took Asia and Marie's hands.

Both Asia and Marie agreed to what Edzard had said. But before entering the castle, Edzard turned and smiled. "Come. It's time for you to meet what will be your home for many years, Jon."

Jon Snow looked at Edzard and started walking. When he was next to Edzard, they all entered the tower.

The North- Wyrest City — 298 A.C.

The sea breeze ruffled Edzard's hair as he gazed at the city that had been created around his castle. Nine years had already passed since the day he received these lands. He currently had short hair and wore a trimmed beard. He wore a leather jerkin, with pants and boots, all black.

The city of Wyrest was the sixth largest city in all of Westeros. The founding of the city was mainly due to the influx of people whom Edzard had saved from slavery in the Stepstones. This event took place when Edzard went to Braavos to buy the ships that would become the fleet that would protect the western coast of the North. As they returned from Braavos, his ships faced a large number of pirates. After the battle they managed to rescue thousands of people who were being enslaved.

In the last nine years the Stony Shore had become the barn of the North thanks to the plants that Edzard had brought from Aurbis, plants like the potato that had become the main food in the North. The city had a large influx of merchants from all corners of the known world. The main products that were exported were dried potatoes, Jasbay wine, Nord jewelry and many other things.

"My lord. They are all gathered in his study."

Edzard turned and saw his former squire. Jon had grown up and now it had become the dream of many girls who lived in the city, sadly for them, Jon had married a young woman whom he had saved from the Stepstone pirates. The girl's name was Val and she came from the lands beyond the wall. After they both agreed to marry when they were twelve years old, Jon went beyond the wall and returned accompanied by the tribe of Val.

Currently Jon wore his long hair in a high tail and a small scar in the shape of an eagle's claw furrowed the left side of his face. Since he was knighted a few months ago he began to wear chainmail armor with a blue surcoat with a shield that had a white wolf on a black field. That would be the shield of the new cadet branch of the Stark house that Jon would found in a year, when he received the lands that Edzard planned to give him on his next birthday.

"Well. Come on, there's a lot to talk about."

Jon nodded and followed his lord.

Edzard opened the door and saw his family gathered.

Asia was sitting on the right side of the chair where he normally sat. She was his closest advisor and ally, the person he would trust with everything. Their relationship was much talked about in the North, since the power that Asia wielded in the fiefdom was not something that many women in Westeros received. She was still as beautiful as ever, in fact, for him, she had become more beautiful over the years.

His little Marie, for her part, had become as beautiful a girl as her mother. Now twelve years old, she was one of the most sought-after noblewomen in the North. Edzard had already lost count of the amount of marriage proposals he had rejected, in fact, he knew that his daughter would never marry, since she did not like men, but she liked women.

His son Roland had become a mini copy of him and at nine he was the only one of his sons who was engaged. The «lucky girl» was Ned Stark's youngest daughter. Strangely, it had been Roland who had insistently requested the engagement, apparently, he had fallen in love with her at first sight. It had been funny to watch his son try to win little Arya's heart and fail repeatedly, until he had finally succeeded by giving her a colt and a sword.

Finally there were his last two children. The twins, Selene and Marcoryan. Selene was a black-haired version of Asia and Marcoryan a blonde version of him. They were both currently seven years old and so rambunctious that there wasn't a day that they didn't get up to mischief around the castle.

"Ed. Why did you call us?" Asia asked concerned, as she saw that Edzard had a very serious face.

"Something unexpected and terrible has happened. Jon Arryn is dead. He has been killed with poison."

Those in the room gasped.

"Father, who did it?" asked Marie seriously, since she understood the consequences of what just happened.

"I do not know yet. But I have some suspects."

"Who is it?" Roland asked.

"The Lannisters. The Master of Coin, Baelish. And the Master of whisperers, Varys. They are my main suspects." Edzard replied as he pulled a paper out of his pocket.

"Ed. What do you have there?" asked Asia.

"One of my spies has sent me a note. The king heads to Winterfell. I suppose he is on his way to appoint Ned as the hand of the king."

Jon opened his eyes when he heard that.

"Jon. You will travel to Winterfell and measure the Lannsisters."

"Why?" Jon asked internally happy to see his brothers and his father again.

"If your father accepts the position, the North will face great danger."

"What kind of danger?" Jon asked.

"Political danger. Your father is a good warrior and general, but he is a lousy politician. They'll tear it apart at Kings Landing." Edzard replied. "That's why you have to be careful, this could end in a war."

"I see. If Lord Stark dies in the south, Robb will rise up in rebellion." Asia said, understanding what Edzard feared would happen.

"Yes. That is why I will ask Ned to send Arya to Wyres to protect her, but I will have my request presented as a teaching proposal."

Asia nodded with a smile. But she was not the only one, since Marie, Roland, Selene and Marcoryan were also smiling. Everyone liked Eddard Stark's youngest daughter, as she looked a lot like them. Unlike her bland older sister, she liked to use swords and learn things other than singing and sewing.

"Well. I will begin preparations for the stay of my future daughter-in-law." Said Asia as she got up and left the room, she being followed by all of her children.

Edzard nodded and looked at Jon. "Jon, be careful when you are in Winterfell. Remember, eyes on prey."

"And never on the horizon." Jon finished the sentence.

Edzard nodded, then said goodbye to his former squire. Walking, he headed towards the war room to plan a possible future war against the Lannisters.

'The Lannisters are very wrong if they think they are the most powerful in Westeros. Since I came to this world I have not fought with all my power, but if they dare to make the people that I have come to consider as my people suffer, I will destroy them and see to it that there is nothing left of them.' Edzard thought as he looked at the horizon and thought about the near future.

Author's note:

To those who have made it this far, Thanks for reading. Because being honest, I don't know how to write much in English and I'm relying on Google translators and the dictionaries that come with office 2019.

My first omake, a triple crossover between DxD, Elder Scrolls, and Asoiaf. This omake has been written since I wrote chapter 8, so it has been in storage for a long time. Maybe in the future I will write more omakes which will be with other worlds.

Before I go, I want to mention that today I have published three chapters. One is a sheet with the "skills" that Edzard, Asia and Marie have. Chapter 19 of this Fic and this omake.

Well, I apologize for any misspelling. Do not forget to leave a review if you liked the chapter or if there is something that needs to be improved or if you have any questions about the story. With nothing more to say, until the next chapter.
