I'll probably only keep it up for a few rotations of chapters as I have another poll to use as well for the RWBY story if I don't get a lot of involvement in the reviews.

Chapter XXXIV.

Last Time.

"Well, not here. The light will only work in the presence of Grimm. This means the only practice you'll get will be a trial by fire. But, what you can do is focus on creating a state of mind that you can tap into when you need it. Don't think about your light as a means of destroying evil, but as a way to protect the people of Remnant." Maria explains to the huntress.

"But, that can't be right."

"Hm?"

Ruby walks over to explain. "You said the light only reacts to Grimm, but... I used it during our battle at Haven. It reacted to Cinder."

"Interesting... Perhaps there was something that you just weren't seeing?"

"Ruby!"

Ruby notices Yang at the door. Ruby walks back into the house to see Weiss and Blake present as well. "Oh, hey guys."

Jaune also walked into the room with Ren and Nora. "What's going on?"

"It's Oscar. He's missing." Blake explains as Ruby, Jaune, Nora, and Ren become shocked as Ruby and Jaune look at each other with concerned looks on their faces.

Now.

Land Of Darkness.

At Salem's keep, Emerald is sitting on the floor while Mercury is training around the room with punches and kicks. "I hate being kept in the dark like this…" She sighed as Mercury glanced over.

"Yeah, Cinder was a pain, but at least she kept us filled in."

"Can I ask you something?" She asked as he turned to face her while continuing.

"You're gonna."

"Why did you come with us, the night Cinder and I found you?"

Mercury blinked at that. "Why are you asking-"

"Just answer the question."

Mercury continues before replying. "Just made sense."

She raised an eyebrow at that. "It made sense?"

"All my life, my father trained me to be a killer, an assassin like him. And then moments after I killed him, you two showed up looking for someone with my exact skills. Just felt like it was meant to be."

"incredulous That's it?" She asks with a blink.

"Hey, what's your problem?"

Emerald looks up with a shrug. "I mean, there has to be something you want from this, right?"

"Salem's promised us everything. We win this thing for her, we'll be top dogs in her new world. What more do you want?"

Emerald looks down and sighs. "I just… (Sigh) Cinder was the only family I ever had. She cared about me, taught me things... But without her here, I don't know if what we're doing-"

"Wake up, already…" He says as Emerald looks at him in shock upon hearing this. "Cinder doesn't care about you! She doesn't care about either of us!"

"You don't know what you're talking about!" She bit back before he continued.

"You're in denial. And if you're gonna start having a crisis of identity or some crap... keep me out of it." At this, Emerald angrily jumps forward and starts to attack Mercury with punches and kicks, but he dodges them and catches her wrist. "I'm sorry you didn't have a mommy who loved you, but I had a father who hated me!"

Mercury shoves Emerald back a bit as she takes a defensive stance and he slowly approaches her. "He never went easy on me! Every day of training was a beating. And when I unlocked my Semblance, he stole it with his!" He explains as he throws a punch and a kick at Emerald, who dodges them, while he quotes his father's words. "'This is a crutch!' 'This makes you weak!' He told me I could have it back when I was strong."

"So I got strong, but I never got it back! I've had to work harder than anyone to get where I am. You may not like it here without Cinder, but I think I'm right where I'm supposed to be!"

"Ha-Ha-Ha!"

Suddenly, the two hear laughing as Tyrian steps out of the shadows with his new metallic scorpion tail. "Oh yes, the world is mean, and I'm a big, bad man now just like the others." He mocks before laughing again.

Mercury growls as he angrily walks over to Tyrian. "How long have you been standing there?!"

"All you ever learned was pain and violence, and now you're too afraid to leave it. Such a tragedy." Tyrian smiles.

"You don't know me!"

Mercury tries to kick at Tyrian, but he dodges and kicks Mercury back. Tyrian holds him down to the ground by keeping his tail a short distance away from Mercury's face. "Hey!" Emerald yells as Tyrian shushes them.

"Shh, shh, shh, shh, shh. I want to tell you both a little secret. Your question is all wrong."

"What?" Emerald blinks.

"'What do you want from this?' Children, please, if you're not loving what you're doing, then you're in the wrong field." He says as she glares.

"So, what? Are you saying we should just leave?"

Tyrian gave a dramatic gasp at that. "Oh no, no, no, no. chuckles You can't do that!"

Mercury narrows his eyes at that. "Then what did you come here for?"

"To say farewell. There's been a change in plans. Her Grace must act swiftly if we are to prevail. If General Ironwood comes to his senses and calls upon aid from Vacuo, all may be lost for us! And so the good doctor and I are being sent to Atlas... to prepare." Tyrian explains with a grin.

"Prepare for what?" Emerald asks before Arthur yells out.

"Tyrian!"

They look and see Watts at the end of the hallway leading into the room. "It's time."

Tyrian steps off of Mercury, who gets back up on his feet. "Do what makes you happy children... please? I'm begging you…" Tyrian gave an evil grin and held his new tail out threateningly, with purple liquid venom dripping from the stinger's tip.

Tyrian walks away towards Watts letting out a little chuckle as Emerald and Mercury watch him leave with disgusted looks.

Argus.

"Oscar!"

Naruto yells as he walks by himself down the street.

"Naruto?"

Blinking, Naruto turned to a patio. "What…?" He trailed off seeing his wives from his world. (1.)

'Hinata.'

Hinata is a slender girl of fair complexion with a large bust whose most distinguishing trait is her featureless lavender eyes. She has long dark blue hair that reaches her lower back with framing strands that reach shoulder-length. She's wearing a form-fitting light lavender, sleeveless kimono-style blouse with vertical lines, tied with a dark purple obi around her waist, and short dark navy shorts with knee-high sandals.

'Ino.'

Ino is a fair-skinned woman of average height with light blue eyes and long, platinum blonde hair that went to her calves with bangs framing the right side of her face. She's wearing a purple outfit consisting of a top that's sleeveless and bares her midriff with a long skirt that shows her V-line with mesh on her elbows and open-toed sandals.

'Tenten.'

Tenten has black hair and grey eyes, both of which are depicted as dark brown in the anime. She has her hair in two Chinese-style buns that are braided and held together by a short plait that falls just below her shoulders.

She's wearing a white sleeveless, high-collared qipao dress with red trimmings and a pink flame pattern on the left, tied with a maroon obi. Underneath, she has fishnet leg stockings and black high-heeled boots. A pair of black scrolls around her wrists like bangles, and has two scrolls in the color of green and light grey strapped on her lower back.

'Anko.'

Anko is an average-sized, young woman who was slender frame. She has light brown, pupil-less eyes. Her purple hair is styled in a short, spiky, fanned-out ponytail. She's wearing a custom-made outfit that is crafted of thin metal mesh to fit the lines of her body, which covers her from neck to thigh. Over this, she has a tan overcoat with a purple in-seam and a pocket on each side, a dark orange mini-skirt, a dark blue belt, and pale grey shin guards. She also has a small pendant that looks like a snake fang.

'Hana.'

Hana has long brown hair which she wears in a ponytail with two locks of hair framing her face over her large, black eyes. She also has a light shade of lipstick and fang-like tattoos on both of her cheeks, in addition to a tattoo on her upper right arm that resembles a flower. She's wearing a brace on her left wrist, bracelets on her right hand as well as bandages and a form-fitting variation of a flak jacket that doesn't have any chest pockets and she keeps the front of her jacket unzipped, exposing her cleavage. She also has on a pair of form-fitting shorts cut just above the knee, bandages just below her tattoo, and wrist warmers.

'Samui.'

Samui is a tall, fair-skinned woman with a curvaceous figure with a stoic, aloof expression on her face. She has blue eyes and straight, shoulder-length blonde hair cut in an asymmetrical bob style and a large bust.

She's wearing a very low-cut outfit that displays her sizeable cleavage, with mesh armor underneath, a short skirt and red hand guards, high boots, and what appears to be a modified Kumogakure flak jacket that covers her stomach only, similar to a girdle. She also carries a tantō strapped horizontally to her lower back.

'Pakura.'

Pakura is a fairly tall kunoichi. She has fair skin and pupilless brown eyes, green hair that is tied in a bun on top of her head with a hair needle running through it, and one short and long strand of hair with orange tips framing each side of her face. Her attire consists of a sleeveless, backless top and short tight pants, with two lapels on the front and the back. She has an obi around her waist, as well as purple arm-warmers which extend up to her shoulders and has bandages around her tights and ankles.

'Mei.'

Mei is a tall, slender woman with fair skin. She has green eyes, and ankle-length, auburn hair styled into a herringbone pattern at the back, a top-knot tied with a dark blue band, and four bangs at the front. Two bangs are short, with one covering her right eye, and two are long, crossing each other on her bust, just below her chin.

She's wearing a long-sleeved, dark blue dress that falls just below the knees. It seems to be closed at the front with a zipper and is kept open on the front-right side from the waist down. The dress only covers up to the upper part of her arms and the underside of her breasts. Underneath, she has a mesh armor that covers slightly more of her upper body than her dress.

She also has on a skirt the same color as her dress and, underneath those, mesh leggings reaching down over her knees. Around her waist, she has a belt with a pouch attached to the back on the left along with high-heeled sandals, shin-guards reaching up over her knees, dark blue nail polish on her fingers and toes, and is usually shown with purple lipstick.

'Ameyuri.'

Ameyuri is relatively short in comparison with the others. She has long, red hair, black eyes, and a simple cloth around her head, distinctively tied at both sides so that the ends of the material protrude upwards, while the remainder of the hair is allowed to flow downwards. She's wearing a loose, pin-striped long-sleeved shirt with a dark obi around the waist, black pants that got much looser near the ends, resembling hakama, and striped leg-warmers. She also has bandages loosely tied around her neck and smiles showing jagged teeth.

"So… You guys came here as well?"

"Yeah, we all met here after the attack on Beacon," Anko explained as Naruto walked up and leaned on the railing.

"I'm… Glad you're here then." Naruto smiled before Anko walked over.

"I bet you are~" Naruto smiled before speaking. "I do have girlfriends here."

"With what you're packing you can handle us."

"I… Didn't know how much I missed you Anko." Naruto grinned. "Now, there's a battle brewing… Think on the scale of what happened with Obito… Now if the leaders are here with Tsunade Jiraiya-"

"We haven't met them yet," Hana explains from her seat.

"Fuck!" Naruto cursed out at that.

"Or if they reincarnated like we did," Tenten says as Naruto throws his head back.

"FUCK! Now this universe decided to get lazy?"

Later, Saphron's House.

"Oscar?"

Naruto and his other girls walked to see Qrow on the steps. "You just got drunk?" Naruto sighed as Yang looked to see him and the others. "My reincarnated wives. Met them looking for Oscar.

"FOUND HIM!"

Natsu yells out from the door as Oscar is inside before they all walk in and see Oscar now wearing a fancy green coat.

"You had us worried sick!"

"Are you okay?"

Nora grins at him. "What are you wearing?"

Oscar smiles and rubs the back of his head

"Is something cooking?" Terra asks as Oscar nods.

"Oh, uh, yeah. I thought you guys would appreciate a hot meal after... spending all day looking for me."

Jaune walks up at that. "It's my fault we were all out there in the first place. Oscar, I am so sorry for earlier. I was way, way out of line, and what I said-"

"No, it's okay. These past few days, I've been scared of the same things you were. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be... me. But I did some thinking, and I do know that I want to do everything I can to help with whatever time I have left." Oscar says as they all smiled before the smoke alarm went off. "The casserole!"

"We're on it, chef."

Saphron and Terra step into the kitchen to take care of Oscar's cooking. "Uh, combat gear looks good," Ruby says as Naruto walks up to wrap an arm around her shoulder and pull her in close as the group notices Qrow walking up the stairs. "Where are you going now?"

"I don't want to get in the way of your celebration."

Ruby puffed her cheeks at that. "You've been gone all day! Just sit with us."

Qrow sighs and looks at his niece. "Look, Ruby, I'm glad you kids worked out, uh, whatever all that was. But the fact is, we're not a single step closer to Atlas."

"I think I have an idea. But... it's sort of a 'no-going-back' kind of idea." Jaune spoke up as they looked at him. "With Cordo on watch, only Atlas airships have the clearance to leave for Solitas. So... we... steal an Atlas airship."

"I like ya." Anko grinned as Naruto facepalmed.

"Ignore her."

"That's not just breaking the law. That's... that's worse." Weiss says as Yang looked over.

"How would we even get onto the airfield?"

"That part I haven't quite figured out yet. But I-" Jaune stops as Qrow walked up.

"Okay, stop. Just... stop! Look, if this thing goes south, it's not something we can just fight our way out of. This is the Atlas Military we're talking about. For your sake, just drop this."

Everyone looks down with discouraged looks on their faces. Ruby notices this and turns back to Qrow with a determined look on her face. "I want to hear him out."

"Ruby..."

Ruby stops her uncle at that. "I want to hear him out! I know you're trying to protect us, that you're afraid we can't do it, but right now, I don't care what you think!" Qrow gains a shocked expression upon hearing this. "Just because you don't have an idea, doesn't mean we're out of options! Oz hasn't been here to tell us what to do, but we still managed to get this far anyway."

"We've been in bad situations before, and we don't need an adult to come save us or tell us what to do. We just did it our way! And I say we do it our way. everyone smiles And if you think you can keep up with us "kids"... we'd be happy to have you."

Maria laughs at that. "Looks like you didn't give her enough credit either."

1. We decided on having Narutoverse characters popping up and I wanted to ask you all about Naruto's previous wives joining the pairing. NOW if I don't get a lot of confirmation or deny that. I'll do a poll BUT MAY NEED TO TAKE A BREAK FROM THIS STORY as I'll be doing one for my Kim Possible story on who Ron'll be paired with.

Won't be a long break just several updates for each story to let everyone know and give time to vote. But again that's just if I don't get a lot of "yes" or "no" or it seems even. Then the KP poll will stay until Zita is introduced.
