Chapter 19

— As long as there is an apex of life in my body. I will never let you touch my family, Cyrelas! —

Roland 194 C.E

After going through the portal, Edzard and Asia appeared in a kind of space made of multi-colored light.

"Where we are?" Edzard asked seeing everything very confused.

"Do not know." Asia answered just as confused as Edzard.

While both did not know where they were, Marie looked very astonished at the colors of the place.

With no idea where they were, Edzard decided to fly in a random direction. While he was flying, he and Asia were trying to find a way out of there. Edzard felt that they had been in that place for hours, but he knew it was not true, since Asia could maintain the power of her sacred gear for two hours. So, if they had been in this place so long, she would no longer have her active power.

As he flew, a peculiar smell reached Edzard's nostrils. And that smell was something he knew very well, since he had smelled it many times in the past.

"Dragon." Edzard said as he scanned the place, looking for the dragon he had smelled. His eyes almost popped out of their sockets when he saw the huge red dragon flying towards them.

Roaarrr!

The roar of the dragon sent a chill up Edzard's spine. This was because the dragon's power was on the same level as Akatosh's power.

Edzard wasted no time and began to fly in the opposite direction the dragon was flying.

The dragon started chasing them when he saw that they started to flee. Seeing this, Edzard increased his speed a lot to try to gain distance, however, to no avail, as the dragon was quickly catching up with them.

"WULD! NAH! KEST!" shouted Edzard.

Edzard's shout caused them to get away from the dragon.

The Great Red was in awe of what was happening in the dimensional gap. First, he was calmly cartwheeling around when he felt a presence appear in the gap, initially he had ignored it, but when he felt the power of a dragon his territorial instincts were activated and he went to vote for the idiot who was messing with his home . Second, the «dragon» he felt was strong, strong enough to stand up to certain dragons he knew. What also caught his attention was that this dragon had a humanoid form.

When he saw the young woman in his arms and the girl, he knew that they were his partner and their young respectively. Since he was bored, he decided to chase them so he could laugh for a moment.

The chase was just as he expected for a moment. But when he was within a few feet of reaching them, the humanoid dragon shouted something in a language he did not recognize. That scream made them walk away from him. Sensing his wounded pride, he decided to speed up to catch up with them and have them become his dinner.

Edzard was trying to keep his distance from the great red dragon that was chasing them, but he knew he couldn't. His mind was racing over a thousand an hour trying to find a way to escape from there. However, his thoughts were interrupted when Asia tugged at his shirt.

"Ed, I can't hold out much longer." Asia said as she was sweating from the effort she was putting into keeping her sacred gear active.

"Did you reach your time limit?" Edzard asked concerned as he continued to fly.

"No. But… this… place is… taking… a lot more… energy from me…. than it would…. Normally…. need to keep it going." Asia answered with difficulty.

Edzard began to worry, for he did not know how this dimension would react to his presence. From what little he had managed to study shadow magic, he knew that some dimensions might not be suitable for normal life. If this dimension was of that type, well they might die the instant Asia's damage denial powers run out.

'Think Edzard. There must be some way to get out of here.' Edzard thought as he kept escaping from the dragon. As he kept thinking, he managed to remember something very important. 'Door, portal and world. Seriously, you do think of everything, Bormah.'

"Easy Asia. I already know how to get out of here. " Edzard said as he stopped and looked back at the dragon. "But first, that lizard has to be stopped on steroids."

"JOOR! ZAH! FRUL! " Edzard shouted using the best anti dragon weapon he had. The Dragonrend.

The Great Red was about to catch up with Edzard when a wave of purple slammed into his body. The moment that wave hit him, he felt a great amount of fear, because that shout made him feel deadly, made him feel very vulnerable.

"MIRAAK! LOOK! LEIN! " Edvard's scream created a portal in the dimensional gap through which a clear night sky with a full moon could be seen.

Smiling, Edzard turned to see the dragon trying in vain to get back on its feet. According to his estimates, that dragon would be this vulnerable for a few more seconds. So smiling, he decided to say goodbye in the most mature way possible. "Bye, lizard on steroids!"

After shouting that, Edzard went through the portal and left the dimensional gap. If he had stayed a moment longer he could have seen how a girl with dull eyes was watching with interest what had just happened.

In the night sky of the earth a portal opened from which Edzard and Asia emerged. The moment they left was accurate, as Asia fell asleep from exhaustion. Asia was not the only one asleep, as Marie was also sleeping peacefully.

Edzard looked at them and smiled. In order not to wake them up, he decided to fly as slowly as he could. He flew for an hour until he found a good place to land. The chosen place was a clearing in a forest near a city.

After landing as gently as possible, Edzard set up camp and let Asia and Marie sleep inside the tent. Setting up a barrier, he walked to get wood for the campfire.

Edzard walked for several minutes until he found a good tree to cut down. Taking the ax he was carrying, he began to fell the tree. When the tree was on the ground, Edzard began to chop it up. Then he tied the pieces of firewood and carried them on his back.

As he walked back to his camp, he heard the sound of a battle.

"Should I see what's going on?" He wondered as he looked in the direction where the sound of battle was coming from. Shaking his head, he started to retreat, but stopped when he smelled something.

"This smell ..."

After saying that, he started running in the direction where the battle sound was coming from, as the owner of that smell was rapidly approaching that place. When he finally arrived, he could see a girl with black and white hair. The girl was dressed in tight black clothes with a coat over her. Also, she used a sword that seemed to be made of light. She was defending herself very well from the undead without paying attention to what was approaching from the north.

Lint's day had started normally. She had received orders to take down a group of undead that tormented the local population. So, as ordered, she had headed for the place where these undead were hiding. They had not been that difficult to kill, as they were very weak, but they solved their individual weakness with the strength of their numbers. Unfortunately for them, she was an exorcist who was armed with weapons to take down beings like them and to top it off she had a great deal of training to use those weapons efficiently.

"And that was the last." Lint said in a singsong voice as she beheaded the last undead there was.

After killing the last undead, she deactivated her lightsaber and tucked it along with her pistol in a pocket inside her exorcist coat. Sighing, she took a breath, then regretted it, for the smell of decomposing corpses reached her.

"Aghh. What a stench." Lint said wincing at the smell.

After saying that, she began to walk to leave this place and return to the Vatican to rest until they give her new orders. However, when she had advanced a few meters, a roar was heard approaching her. When she turned in the direction of the roar, her eyes widened.

"A dragon!" Lint yelled in panic when she saw a dragon fly quickly towards her. "What is a dragon doing here ?!"

The dragon landed in front of Lint and opening its jaws released a powerful breath of fire. Lint dodged the attack by jumping to the side. When she got out of attack range, she drew her pistol and began firing. The bullets bounced off the dragon's scales harmlessly. The dragon then stood on its hind legs and using its wings created a strong gale, sending Lint flying.

"Aghhh!" Lint yelled as she ended up crashing into a tree, then falling flat on her face to the ground. Her sight began to blur as she watched the dragon approach her.

Edzard had been watching the fight from a tree branch. From the whole battle he had been surprised by the mini crossbow that launched magic projectiles. He although he could see that this type of weapon was useless against dragons, since the dragon was unharmed despite receiving the impact of several of those projectiles. When he saw that the dragon sent the girl flying using his wings, he decided that he must intervene. Extending his right hand, he launched a bolt of lightning at the dragon.

The dragon received the hit spell and was sent backward. Shaking his head, he looked at whoever he had dared to meddle with. Seeing Edzard, the dragon opened its jaws and blew out its breath of fire.

Edzard saw the breath approach, so he quickly shouted.

"FO! KRAH! DIIN!"

Edzard's shout turned into a wave of ice, which hit the dragon's breath, neutralizing it.

The dragon looked at Edzard in bewilderment, as it was the first time he had seen a human launch a breath attack like a dragon. Sensing his pride as a wounded dragon, he roared and lunged at Edzard.

Seeing the dragon pounce on him, Edzard extended his hand and using conjuring magic summoned a sword. The sword was, to the naked eye, a katana, but if you look closely you can see small lightning bolts that run through the blade. This is a sword that Edzard enchanted using the legendary dragonbane enchantment. The original sword is in the Sky Haven Temple in Esbern's care. Looking at his sword, Edzard smiled and charged the dragon.

The dragon stopped its charge when it began to feel fear when it saw Edzard's sword, so it released a breath of fire, which was again neutralized by Edzard's breath of frost.

After the shock of the attacks, Edzard continued to advance. When they were face to face, the dragon began to attack Edzard with its claws, but he dodged the attacks in a fluid manner. The dragon began to despair and began to attack with more speed, but that caused it to leave an opening in its defense. Edzard took advantage of that opening to jump and with a swift movement of his arm he blinded the dragon's right eye.

"Roarr!" the dragon roared when Edzard blinded him.

The dragon began to rage and began to launch breath attacks at Edzard. But this was in vain, as Edzard avoided them or defended himself from them using wards. To see that his attacks were not working, the dragon began to fly to be able to withdraw from the place.

"Oh! No! You will not do it!" Edzard yelled as he watched the dragon try to fly away. Taking a deep breath, he shouted at the sky. "JOOR! ZAH! FRUL!"

The dragon that began to fly away was shocked when it could no longer fly and began to rapidly fall to the ground. Once he was on the ground in a daze from the impact, he looked straight ahead and could see Edzard running towards him. In panic, he opened his jaws and released a desperate attack of breath.

Edzard saw the breath attack coming and smiled as he reached out his left hand and began to create a ward to defend himself. When the breath hit the custody, Edzard could feel the heat of the flames engulf him, but to him that was nothing new. After fighting so many dragons, he had already gotten used to it. So once he was close enough, he took a huge leap and ended up landing on the dragon's head.

Seeing Edzard above his head, the dragon began desperately to try to get rid of him, but to no avail, as Edzard kept on top of him without falling. When the dragon stopped struggling so hard, he saw a sword heading for his good eye.

Edzard used all his strength to drive his sword into the dragon's entire eye until he was sure it had reached the brain. And so it was, for the dragon stopped moving when Edzard pierced his brain with the sword. Thus ending this short battle.

Looking at the dragon's body, Edzard closed his eyes and used an ability that he didn't like to use so much. The dragon's body moved as he turned into magical energy, which was absorbed by Edzard.

Edzard blinked when he received the power of the dragon, as he not only received his magic, but also received the knowledge of the dragon. He smiled when he learned that he had been able to reach Earth. Walking, he made his way towards the girl who had previously fought with the dragon. When he got to the girl's side, he reached down and checked to see if she had a pulse. He let out a sigh when he saw that she had a pulse and that she was just passed out. So he quickly used a healing spell to heal the few wounds the girl had.

Already calmer when seeing that the girl was not dead, Edzard began to see her well. Her hair was a mixture of black and white. Her athletic body was covered by a kind of tight black suit. Edzard had to look away when he saw that the girl's clothes were torn on top, thus showing her modest breasts. Sighing, he took off his shirt and covered her with it.

With the modesty of the covered girl, Edzard carried her and carried her to their camp. Already in the camp, Edzard put on another shirt and taking out a sleeping bag, he placed the girl there. After that, he started making a fire and cooking some food for the girl and himself. He did not prepare food for Asia and Marie because they were both under a sleep spell. He had decided to use that spell to prevent them from being discovered by the girl, since he did not know if she was friend or foe.

Lint began to open his eyes as the smell of roast meat reached his nostrils. Getting up, she saw that in front of her was a campfire and a young man wearing a hooded robe with pants and boots, all black. She couldn't see his face, since he had the hood up.

"I see you already woke up."

Lint was startled by Edzard's voice and jumped to his feet. Reaching for her jacket, she tried to reach for his weapons, but was surprised that there was nothing.

"Are you looking for this?"

Lint looked up and could see that the young man was holding her pistol and sword.

Seeing her weapons, Lint lunged at Edzard to try to snatch one from him. When she was a few feet from him, she started trying to hit him. She threw kicks and punches as fast as she could, but they had no effect, as they were all dodged. Hearing a sigh, she saw the young man disappear and appear in front of her and pin her to the ground. Lint tried to struggle and break free of him, but in the end she couldn't.

"I do not want to hurt you. So calm down and let's talk like civilized beings."

Lint felt that the young man's words contained sincerity, so she stopped struggling. Moments later, the young man stopped immobilizing her. Once released, Lint began to stretch. Then she turned his eyes to the front.

"Here."

The young man threw his sword at her. As Lint took it, she looked at him confused.

"I give it to you as a sign of good faith."

Lint nodded.

"Who are you?"

Hearing that question, the young man began to lower his hood.

Lint blushed when she saw the face of the young man in front of her, this because the moonlight accentuated him physical characteristics. He black hair was short and messy-looking with a small braid that fell down him right bangs. This braid was intertwined with a blue ribbon and had a gem of the same color at the end. He green eyes had cross pupils conveyed calm and serenity.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Edzard Rolandson."

After introducing himself, Edzard saw the girl blush. At that moment, he felt a dejavu, since he felt that he had seen that same reaction before, but did not remember where.

"A pleasure. My name is Lint." Lint said.

"I see. It's a pretty name." Edzard said with a smile.

Lint averted her face, since it was the first time she had been told that she had a pretty name.

"You were very lucky, Lint. Since that dragon only left you some superficial wounds."

Lint widened her eyes upon hearing that. She quickly saw herself and sighed when she saw that she was healthy. But she started to panic when she saw that she had a large shirt that covered her upper body. Taking her sword, she activated it and pointed it at Edzard.

"What have you done to me?" Lint asked in a serious voice.

Edzard blinked for a few moments and then understood what was happening. Blushing, he looked away, as he remembered what Lint's breasts looked like.

"Don't worry, I didn't do anything to you. I simply put one of my shirts on you because your clothes were torn."

Lint put a hand to her breasts and touched them. She blushed when she saw that Edzard was right. The upper part of her exorcist clothes was ripped apart.

"I ... I ..."

"Don't worry, you don't have to try to apologize. In fact, I should be the one to apologize, since I saw you half naked without your consent."

The tense atmosphere was broken by the sound of Lint's stomach.

'Seriously, what do you have in your stomach to make it sound like that?' Edzard thought, remembering how Asia's stomach sounded the same when she was hungry.

"Are you hungry?"

"Yes." Lint replied as she looked away in embarrassment.

Edzard got up and took a bowl of the food he had prepared for Lint earlier.

"Here. I thought you might be hungry after you woke up, so I made you something to eat."

Lint took the bowl and began to eat.

"Thanks." Lint said once she finished eating. "And sorry for attacking you when I saw you."

"Easy. You are not the first person to try to kill me when he sees me." Edzard said in a nonchalant tone.

"I see. Thank you also for healing me. "

"You're welcome." Edzard said. "By the way, Lint. I can ask you some questions?"

Lint nodded. She felt that answering a few questions was a very small compensation for what Edzard had done for her.

"Do you know where we are?" Edzard asked as he scratched the back of his neck.

Lint blinked and then answered. "We are in Romania."

"Romania?" Edzard asked confused, since he did not know this place.

"Yes." Lint replied.

"How far are we from Italy?" Edzard asked scared, since they were supposed to appear in the same place where Asia had lived.

"Ummm. Almost two thousand kilometers away." Lint replied with a hand on her chin. "Why do you ask?"

"Just out of curiosity." Edzard responded, diverting the subject. They had appeared far from where expected.

Lint looked at Edzard. "Edzard. Could you answer me some questions?"

"Of course. Ask what you want."

"What happened to the dragon that attacked me?" Lint asked concerned, as a loose dragon could cause a lot of trouble.

"Quiet. I killed the dragon. So it won't cause any problems."

Lint's eyes widened in shock. "What do you mean, you killed him?"

"Yes. I killed him to keep him from eating you. It wasn't that difficult really."

"How was it not difficult?" yelled Lint.

"The truth is that I have killed dragons much more powerful than that." Edzard replied remembering the Elder and Legendary level dragons that he had defeated and devoured.

"You ... you ... are you a Dragon Slayer?" Lint asked stammering as she pointed her finger at Edzard.

Edzard nodded, since that was true. He was the ultimate Dragon Slayer.

Lint looked at Edzard in amazement. Someone her age was a dragon slayer. But she remembered something very important.

"How did you kill that dragon?"

Edzard blinked and then took his sword.

"With this sword." Edzard said showing Lint his sword.

"Can I?"

Edzard nodded, realizing that Lint wanted to see his sword.

Lint took Edzard's sword and began to look at it carefully. To her, the sword seemed simple in design, as there were no excessive engravings or decorations; however, when she drew the sword she could see the small lightning bolts emerging from the blade.

"Where did you get this sword?" Lint asked.

"I forged it myself."

"You forged it?" asked Lint in amazement. And since she couldn't be, the forging of weapons with dragon-slaying properties was a very rare thing.

"Yes, all my weapons have been forged by me." Edzard said proudly.

Lint replaced the sword in its sheath and returned it to its owner.

"What faction do you belong to?"

"Faction?" Edzard asked.

"Yes. Which of the three factions do you belong to?" Lint asked, staring at Edzard.

"None." Edzard replied, as he knew about the three factions because Asia had told him about it a long time ago. "What faction do you belong to?"

Lint narrowed her eyes as she looked at Edzard, as it was very rare that someone with the abilities Edzard had just displayed hasn't been contacted by any of the three factions. However, she decided to answer him question. "I am an exorcist, I belong to the church."

'Very well. This is rare. Saving a girl from church is one thing, but two, it's already rare. I don't know why, but I really want to hit Sanguine.' Edzard thought with blank eyes as he felt as if that Daedric prince was making fun of him.

"You are human?" Lint asked, since Edzard's eyes were anything but a normal human.

"Naa. I am an otherworldly dragon demigod with enough power to destroy entire nations." Edzard said so casually that Lint almost fell over in amazement.

"A demigod!" Lint yelled in amazement as she slowly backed away.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Edzard laughed as he saw the terror in Lint's eyes. "Calm, I'm human."

Lint started to get angry, as it seemed like Edzard didn't take this seriously. However, before she could say anything to him, she heard the sound of an alarm. Raising her hand, she saw her clock read eleven o'clock at night.

"Ahhh! I'm late! My bus leaves in a few minutes!" Lint yelled desperately when she saw the time.

"Bus?" Edzard asked confused.

"Yes. My bus to go to the capital of Romania leaves in ten minutes. If I don't take it, I won't be able to get there in time to catch my flight."

"Can't you have another one tomorrow?"

"No. The church doesn't give us that much funding for missions."

Edzard rolled his eyes. 'How tight-fisted are those in the church not to give money for contingencies?'

Seeing the anguish in Lint's eyes, Edzard sighed and stood up. Stepping into the tent, he pulled out one of Asia's pants.

"Here. Put them on."

Lint looked confused at the pants. "Why should I put them on?"

"With my shirt on, it looks like your naked underneath." Edzard answered looking away.

Lint looked at herself and realized it was true. Edzard's shirt was so large that it looked like a dress. Nodding, she headed toward some trees. When she came out, she was wearing pants.

"Well. I'll help you get to town quickly."

Lint looked at him confused. But before she could say anything, Edzard scooped her up in his arms and, with one leap, he started running at top speed towards the town. As he ran, Lint's screams were heard.

Edzard was walking through the streets of the town that was near his camp. It had already been three days since they had arrived on Earth. And it had been the strangest three days of his life. To begin with, he had had trouble understanding the locals, but that had changed on the second day. It was late at night and he was walking around. As he walked, he heard a struggle in one of those alleys. Guided by curiosity, he walked in that direction.

When he arrived at the scene, he saw a group of idiots trying to force themselves with a girl who had blood dripping from a wound on her head. Wasting no time, he killed almost all the idiots. The massacre was so rapid that no one in the vicinity could hear a thing.

Edzard approached the girl and saw that she was passed out. Checking her out, he saw that she had no more injuries. After ascertaining the state of the girl, he walked towards the last man left alive.

The man began to crawl to escape, but to no avail, as Edzard grabbed his head. Using the spell on Neloth's scroll, Edzard read his mind to learn everything he could about where they were. Once he finished reading him mind, Edzard broke him neck and left the body in the alley. Carrying the girl, he left, but not before leaving behind a fire rune, which would explode minutes later. After leaving the girl at the hospital, Edzard had returned to his camp. After sharing the knowledge of the language with Asia and his daughter, they proceeded to dinner.

'Thanks to Akatosh for meeting those idiots and the girl.' Edzard thought as he continued walking, since thanks to them he had obtained the basic knowledge of this world. He had learned various things, such as using a bank card, using a computer, and other things for everyday use. He currently he was a bit depressed, since due to the lack of papers he could not change the more than a two thousand gold bars that he had brought from Nirm. This had made him and Asia unable to buy anything when they came to town.

When he walked around a corner, he saw something unusual. Where there had been an empty lot the day before, today there was a three-floor building with a sign.

"Solutions Az. We solve all kinds of problems." Edzard read the poster aloud. "Well. I need some problems solved for me."

Edzard walked to the store and entered. When he looked inside the store, he could make out several things. First, that there were various technological gadgets. Second, the person he was serving was a man in his thirties with black hair and beard. Third, the man had a slightly weird aura.

"Welcome to Soluciones Az. What can I help you?" The salesman's voice was dry and deep.

"Good Morning." Edzard said approaching the counter. As he walked, he used the tenth eye vision spell. He had to suppress a gasp, as his spell showed him the same man, but in a tight-fitting battle suit and with a pair of black wings folded across his back.

'Black wings. Is this guy a fallen angel?' Edzard thought, remembering some of the knowledge he had obtained from the dragon that he had devoured.

'What is a fallen angel doing in this city?' Edzard wondered looking at the salesman.

Sighing, Edzard decided not to start an unnecessary fight. While he could quickly finish off that guy, he didn't want to cause panic in the residents of this town.

"Ahhh. The truth is that I'm in a bind." Edzard answered looking away.

The fallen angel raised an eyebrow. "What kind of problem?"

"I need papers to be able to pass as a normal human. You know, to do what you are doing."

Edzard's response made the fallen angel open his eyes in shock, then look him up and down.

"I see. You're in luck dragon. We have a wide variety of artifacts for your problem. All these products have been created by Azazel himself." Said the salesman with a very forced friendly smile.

Edzard put on a very well disguised mocking smile when he saw the fallen angel's smile, since he saw how it was trembling with fear.

"Can you show me these artifacts?"

The salesman nodded and quickly went into the store's warehouse. When he returned, he had a box in his hands.

"I present to you the most recent invention of the great Azazel." Said the fallen angel showing Edzard the contents of the box.

Edzard looked at the artifact. This looked like a small laptop.

"What does this thing do?"

"This device allows you to enter a person in the registration system of a country. You simply have to enter the data you want and the system will search for a country according to the identity data provided. Then this camera will take a photo for the record. Each device has three uses before it stops working."

Edzard stared at the machine in amazement, as it would literally fix most of his problems at once.

"What documents would each use create?"

"Each use would provide you with your identity card and a passport."

"And if you put the data of a dead person. What would happen in that case?"

"In that case, the old data of that person would be deleted and replaced by the new one."

Edzard started to smile.

"Well. I buy it to you."

"Thank you. It would be about a hundred thousand dollars."

Edzard looked at the salesman. He was tempted to steal the artifact, but he chose not to.

Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out two gold bars and set them on the counter.

The seller's eyes widened when he saw the two gold bars.

"I don't have human money, but I hope this is more than enough to pay for this artifact."

The fallen angel nodded and pulled out a machine. Placing the gold bars on a tray, he pressed some buttons.

"Yes sir. Both bars of gold are enough to cover the price of the artifact. " Said the salesman when the machine showed that the gold bars were worth one hundred thousand dollars.

Edzard nodded and took the bag that contained the artifact. When he was out of the shop, he started walking back to his camp. As he walked he felt that he was being followed, so he made use of the knowledge that he had as a thief and began to walk through the alleys until he managed to lose his pursuer.

Night had already fallen as Edzard and Asia were preparing to break camp to rent a hotel room. They had managed to create their IDs with the help of the artifact Edzard had purchased. Edzard had registered as Edzard Rolandson and the artifact had given him Icelandic nationality. Asia, for her part, had updated her data and Marie had been registered as Marie Argento Edzarddottïr. They had decided to keep the Cumberland name personal and secret.

As they finished packing the tent into their backpack, Edzard stopped abruptly.

"Vampires." Edzard said when he smelled the peculiar smell of cemetery and corpse.

"Hey?" Asia was in awe when she heard Edzard mention that vampires were approaching. "How many?"

"About five." Edzard replied. "Put a barrier on Marie."

Asia nodded and taking Marie, placed her inside a barrier. After that, she went and stood next to Edzard, to wait for the «guests».

The atmosphere began to cool and a light mist began to appear. A few moments later, five shadows appeared from the bushes. When they were more visible, Edzard was able to identify them. They were five men with pale skin and red eyes. They all wore aristocratic costumes.

'They look like porcelain dolls.' Edzard thought as he looked at them.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" one of the vampires spoke sarcastically as he looked at what would be his dinner.

"It seems that we will eat well today." another vampire spoke, who started licking his lips when he saw Asia. "Maybe we can have fun with the girl before we kill her."

The other vampires nodded and began to approach. When they had already taken a few steps, they felt enormous magical pressure. Looking around, they could see that the magical pressure was coming from Edzard.

"Normally I would have killed them for talking about my wife like that." Edzard said as he kept expelling some of his power. "But I think she wants to test a spell that she created."

Asia stepped forward and began to gather magic between her hands. After a few seconds, the spell was already charged. Extending her hands to the front, she formed a golden sphere. The spell was released in the form of hundreds of golden beams of light.

The vampires saw helplessly as a huge number of light beams were going to impact on them. They couldn't move due to the magical pressure that Edzard was expelling.

"Aghhhh!" was the cry of all vampires when the spell hit them. Their bodies began to be burned as if sunlight fell directly on them. A few seconds later, four of them had been reduced to ashes.

The Asia spell was a variation of the solar fire spell. She had created this spell based on the fireball bombardment and ice-spear rain spells Edzard used. To be honest with herself, this was the first time she had used it against real enemies. The spell had worked much better than she expected. She could now only imagine the face of the mages from the school of destruction who made fun of her magic school.

'Yes. She spent a lot of time with Serana, Valerica and Aela.' Edzard thought as he rolled his eyes when he saw Asia start to laugh. Shaking his head, Edzard walked over to the surviving vampire. Upon arrival, he could see that the vampire was unconscious. Placing his hand on him head, he began to read him mind.

'So vampires are divided into noble families and are made up of two factions. Interesting, this territory is under the control of the Tepes faction.' Edzard thought about what he just learned from the vampire. When he finished reading him mind, Edzard broke him neck and burned him body with solar fire.

"What did you learn Ed?" Asia asked as she pulled Marie out of the barrier.

"Vampires rule this territory from the shadows."

"I see. What will we do then?"

"For today we will go to rest in a hotel and tomorrow we will leave here. We already have papers, I simply need to exchange the gold we have for money and we will be able to travel anywhere."

Asia nodded and carrying Marie left the forest with Edzard in the direction of the town.

Author's note:

To those who have made it this far, Thanks for reading. Because being honest, I don't know how to write much in English and I'm relying on Google translators and the dictionaries that come with office 2019.

And here is the first chapter in the world of DxD. These first chapters will take place six months prior to the start of the original DxD canon. From now on, I am warning, there are going to be several changes to the DxD canon, as Edzard will indirectly interrupt various plans of the DxD antagonists. And for those wondering if the inhabitants of Aurbis (Elder Scrolls Universe) will get involved with those of DxD, the answer is yes. In fact, several of the changes to the original canon will be made by various beings from Aurbis.

Finally, Edzard's harem. I currently have the following women confirmed, but possibly will add a few more in the future. Although, I will try to keep the harem as small as possible.

The confirmed women are: Asia, Lint, Aika, Rossweisse, Valiere Tepes and Yasaka.

And the possible candidates are: Ophis, Mittelt, Jeanne.

Before I go, I want to mention that I have published three chapters today. One is a sheet with the "Skills" that Edzard, Asia and Marie have, the second, an Omake and finally this chapter.

Well, I apologize for any misspelling. Do not forget to leave a review if you liked the chapter or if there is something that needs to be improved or if you have any questions about the story. With nothing more to say, until the next chapter.
