Wow… it's snowing, no wonder the house feels so cold. I hope John and Rocket are okay with this.
It was a week after Rocketsgiving, but after waking up, Rocke noticed it'd snowed making him excited as he and his brothers could have lots of snow fun after breakfast, getting up going to pee before getting dressed before having breakfast coming downstairs making Juilet smile as she'd started a fire to keep the house warm because it was Winter seeing Rocke enter hugging her making her giggle as she knew this was a good thing seeing Rocket there rubbing sleep from his eyes with a the coldness was also helping wake him up sensing Rocke had seen the snow-covered streets of their neighbourhood and wanting to play which he was okay with.
"It's good you're awake, John might take a lil bit to wake uo as it's cold." Juilet told them making Rocke frown at this as Rocket saw that. "I was wanting us to play in the snow but if John doesn't want to, that's okay." Rocke said drinking warm milk giving Rocket an idea whispering into his furry ear which made Rocke smile again making Juilet guess Rocket had told him, he'd play in the snow with him seeing Rocket nod. "Mmmmm the oatmeal is really good, thanks mom." he told her which mase her grin as she knew her sons loved her cooking which made her happy.
After a bit, John awoke hearing snowballs hit their bedroom window annoying him guessing Rocket had thrown them just to bother him.
"Rocke wanted you to play too, but he didn't want to wait, so Rocket's out there with him. It's very sweet." Juilet told him.
John sighed eating oatmeal and drinking coffee as he was old enough to drink it, but it was warming him up inside making him feel a little bad, he hadn't wanted to play with Rocke as he was his big brother hearing him giggling outside along with Juilet who was watching from the living room window hearing him ask what was so funny as Rocket was chasing after Rocke pretending to be a snow monster which Rocke was loving only after being covered in snow, he was shivering trying to not let Rocketvsee he was getting cold or he would bring him inside to warm up unaware Rocket noticed.
"I-I'm good, l-let's keep p-playing." Rocke said making Rocket frown as he didn't want Rocke to get a cold.
"Boys come inside, as you're getting cold." Juilet called from the front door, but Rocket saw Rocke hesitate as they were having so much fun, he didn't want to stop which Rocket could see. "Mom's right buddy as we'll freeze if we don't warm up besides, thecsnow's not going anywhere." Rocket told him which made coming inside easier for Rocke relieving him and Juilet feeling how cold they were after hugging good thing, as she'd made hot cocoa using the stove which made the kitchen smell cosy whichbbothbRocke and Rocket were digging guessing John was out with his human friends seeingvJuilet nod only Rocket noticed Juilet looked sad sad saying that.
"It's just kids John's age want to hang out more with your friends than your parents." Juilet said feeling Rocke hug her which was helping a bit as he noticed her mug had extra marshmalliws on it making Rocket guessing chocolate did help boost happiness deciding right now, it wasn't the right time to talk science but was just listening as it was like when Nebula was sad or upset which Juilet seemed she was upset because Johnndidn't want to spend time with her hugging her which she needed it like him.
He knew it was Friday meaningvShabbat and going to his dad's for Shabbat dinner and was wanting to teach Juilet andcJohn about Shabbat getting an idea as he whispered into Juilet's ear making her surprised and delighted that he wanted her to come forcShabbat and heard that Rocke asked if he could come seeing Rocket nod.
"Duh you're my brother, of course you're coming." Rocket told him making Rocke smile.
"Shabbat shalom Juilet and Rocke, and welcome to Shabbat." Poppa Marshmallow said to Juilet, Rocke and Rocket as they arrived at Rocket Senior's house.
It was early evening, and they'd gotten cleaned up, butcRocket had went there, to help his dad set up forcShabbat but Casey was surprised they were home and knew her brother had invited Juilet and Rocke to Shabbat seeing them sit at the table for dinner, while Rocket lit the Shabbat cabdles along with saying the blessings making them clap and Rocket blush sitting down at the table drinking wine with them talking, laughing and relaxing which Juilet was enjoying this making Rocket Senior ask what had her down hoping it wasn't because of the snow seeing her shake her head. "John's been spending a lot of time with his friends." Rocke told him.
"That's understandable, as kits that age wanna be with their friends, but he still loves you." he told her after hugging herhearing her cry a little which helped relieving them as he cared about her stroking her hair softly with his big, fluffy paw.
"Thanks Marshmalliw as Shabbat is helping me feel better about thecJohn thing and your hugs are magical and calming no wonder Rocket has them too." Juilet told him making a RocketvSenior smile.
"Shabbat is a time of relaxation Ms Lennon so this is good. Oh yeah Shabbat ends when three stars appear in the night sky." Casey told her high she liked asking if they could do this at home every Friday seeing Rocket nodding as he'd wanted to teach them and John since he was Jewish impressing Juilet asking about Christmas or if he celebrated Hannukah seeing him nod, saying he also could celebrate Christmas too with them delighting Juilet and Rocke.
