Chapter 34

— It doesn't matter how much alcohol I drink; it doesn't matter how hard I try. These damn nightmares never go away and the desire for blood only increases with each passing day—

Thoughts of Edzard 201 CE

Sirzechs watched in amazement as Edzard, and Asia were already fully dressed in armor and ready to help defend the pet forest. The moment he received the call and after yelling, Edzard quickly asked questions, which he relayed to Zatouji, who answered yes to each of Edzard's questions. At the end of that talk, Edzard had no doubt that these werewolves were originally from Nirm. So, Edzard quickly said that he was going to finish them off. Asia followed him as soon as he left the room. For this job, only the two of them would go, because Aika was training with her new teacher, a young woman named Lavinia Remi, Valerie was with Gasper going with him on a job, and Mittelt was at the Grigori base doing a mission for Azazel.

"Are you sure to go alone, Edzard-kun." Sirzechs asked looking at Edzard and Asia with a bit of concern, because despite knowing Edzard's level of power, a part of him did not want to send young people to fight alone. "I can quickly form a group of devils to support you."

"There's no need. Also, I'm not going alone." Edzard replied looking with a smile at Asia, who was telling Marie to stay with Sirzechs and Grayfia.

"I see. Don't worry, we'll take care of leaving Marie-chan with my sister and her peerage." Sirzechs said with a smile as he watched Grayfia take the little girl in her arms.

"Remember to behave, Marie." Asia said giving her daughter a kiss on her forehead. "We'll be back soon, so don't worry."

Marie smiled at her mother, as she knew that they would quickly beat whoever they faced. She fixed her gaze on her father when she saw him arrive in front of her.

"Marie, if you behave, I promise to make you a Jazbai grape cake with juniper berries and honey." Edzard said disheveling his daughter's hair.

Marie's eyes sparkled with emotion when she heard her father tell her that, since the sweets he prepared were the best.

"Ok dad. I will behave very well." Marie said with a smile. "Good luck."

Edzard and Asia nodded and then looked at Sirzechs. The Maou quickly understood what they wanted to tell him, so without wasting any time, he raised his right hand and teleported both youths to the pet forest.

Seeing that both young men had disappeared, Sirzechs looked at his wife and spoke. "Come on, Grayfia."

Grayfia nodded and approached her husband. Both glowed red and disappeared from the scene.

When Edzard and Asia opened their eyes, they saw that they were in the middle of a dark forest which seemed to be made up only of dead trees, since there didn't seem to be any trees with leaves for many kilometers.

"Asia. Are you ready?" Edzard asked as he unsheathed his greatsword.

Asia nodded and drew her sword.

The weapons that both were using today were not Stalhrim or Ebony swords, this time they used swords made from an alloy of silver with steel.

"Well. Go." Edzard said starting to run as he used his overdeveloped sense of smell to detect the werewolves.

Both ran at such a speed that many of the stronger creatures that inhabited the forest only saw a black blur and a blond one move, while the weaker ones only felt the wind currents that they generated when they both passed by.

"Asia, this way!" Edzard yelled as he sniffed around four werewolves; however, his nose picked up another scent as well. "Asia, we need to increase the speed!"

Asia nodded and they both started running faster.

When they arrived at the place where the werewolves were supposed to be, they saw how they were easily slaughtering a group of devils. Wasting no time, they both jumped down and joined the fray.

One of the lycanthropes opened his jaws and prepared to rip the head off the devil in front of him; however, when his canines were mere millimeters from the devil's flesh, the werewolf felt a sharp pain in his lower jaw. Then he felt a current of air run through his body, which was the unmistakable sign that he had just been sent flying several meters.

The devil that saw death in front of his eyes blinked when he saw that he was still breathing. He quickly looked around and was amazed when he saw that the wolves had stopped attacking his companions, who were now protected by a huge circle of fire.

"Calm down, rest and help recover the wounded. We take care of it." Said a voice in front of him.

Looking up, he saw a young human. When he was about to speak to him, he felt like he was being thrown. He felt his sight go out of focus as he hit the ground. Upon regaining his sight, he saw that he was inside the circle. A few seconds later, he watched as the rest of his teammates fell to his side. The uninjured fell first. Second, the wounded fell, who were caught by his companions.

None of them knew what was happening, but they looked forward when they heard the roar of those werewolves that had been killing them like flies.

Edzard and Asia looked at the werewolves around them. All of them had the appearance of a bipedal wolf with larger arms and legs, with broad shoulders and a small waist. His eyes were golden and had only anger and bloodlust. The fur varied, as one was black, another grey, another white and the last one had reddish fur.

"Ed. These aren't ordinary werewolves, right?" Asia asked seeing that there was something that did not fit with what she had read about werewolves in Skyrim.

"Yes, you're right. Those are Werewolf Behemoth." Edzard replied seeing that variant of the werewolves there. These werewolves were twice the size of regular lycanthropes and had limbs as thick as an oak tree trunk. His attacks were stronger and his skin much more resistant.

'This is not good. If the claws of the lycanthropes were able to easily pierce steel in their small form, in this form they are capable of damaging armor made of better materials. Also, I feel like his abilities have been enhanced.' Thought Edzard, slightly worried about the situation. After thinking that, he looked at his wife and spoke. "Asia. Activate your balance breaker. The claws of these lycanthropes will pierce through mithril chain mail with relative ease."

"Okay." Asia said hearing that. So, she, sticking her sword into the ground, she spread her hands and shouted. "Balance Breaker!"

When Asia's body was covered by her armor, she took the sword from her and charged a circle of magic into her free hand.

"Let's start with this. Remember to not let them corner you." Edzard said as he and Asia took an attack stance.

Asia nodded and watched as the wolves started to get closer. Initially they only walked; however, after a second, they began to run. They were very fast despite what their large size suggested. Their speed was such that they managed to cross the distance that separated them from Asia in almost the blink of an eye.

'Now I understand how they could kill the devils.' Asia thought as she rolled on the ground to avoid the black werewolf's paw.

When she got back up, she extended her left hand and released a powerful beam from the magic circle. The werewolf took the hit and skidded a few meters. However, his body showed no damage other than a few small, furless patches where the spell hit.

'It seems that they are resistant to the spells generated by the magic of the Earth.' Asia thought as she crouched down, avoiding the claw of the gray lycanthrope. Returning to her starting position, Asia saw another werewolf try to attack her.

Seeing the wolf's claw, Asia swung her sword and made a quick slash. The sword struck the lycanthrope's skin causing a superficial wound. 'His skin is very resistant. I'll have to increase the strength or attack the mouth or the eyes.'

Already having an idea of how-to best deal with her enemies, Asia increased the strength of her grip on her sword and started moving at high speeds around the werewolves. The werewolves began to lose their bearings, as Asia was using magic to enhance the speed at which she moved. Out of nowhere, the howl of pain from one of the wolves was heard as Asia's sword managed to cut out his eyes, permanently blinding him.

The other werewolf, seeing his partner injured, rushed to chase Asia, who started running around the place. When she saw the werewolf approaching, Asia did an acrobatic jump backwards and created a magic circle, used it as support to rush at her enemy at high speed. The kinetic force greatly increased the force of the cut and thanks to that, Asia managed to cut off one of the werewolf's arms.

The blinded werewolf howled and summoned three red spectral wolves, which charged at Asia. Seeing them coming, Asia extended her left hand and released a torrent of flames, which engulfed the ghostly wolves and killed them. However, as her spell ended, she had to crouch down from her to prevent the gray wolf from killing her with his only remaining arm. Turning her body, Asia could see that the face of the wolf was close to her, so with a quick move she plunged the sword into its eye.

The sword managed to reach the werewolf's brain, killing him instantly. The werewolf's body fell unceremoniously to the ground. Despite seeing that one of her enemies was down, Asia was forced to jump when she noticed the black-skinned werewolf lunging at her. Apparently, this werewolf was using his sense of smell to guide him. Extending her left hand, Asia created nine swords of golden light, which flew at high-speed counting the black wolf. Of the swords, only two managed to hit and embed themselves in the wolf's flesh, temporarily immobilizing it, as they embedded themselves in its legs.

Seeing that her enemy was unable to move, Asia plunged her sword into the ground and clasping her hands began to charge up a large amount of magic. Magic that she was released like a spear of fire the moment the werewolf tried to roar to summon spectral wolves. The spear ended the werewolf's life quickly, causing her body to fall to the ground.

"I see you're done." Edzard said approaching and seeing how the dejected werewolves began to return to their human form. Something strange, because in normal cases the lycanthropes stayed in their wolf form when they died.

Asia looked at her husband and saw him holding his greatsword on his shoulder. His eyes were golden, which meant that he had used the maximum of his power in his human form.

"How hard was it?"

"Not much. I quickly decapitated them." Edzard said pointing to the decapitated bodies of the werewolves. His battle had been simple, since werewolves usually attack with claws, which he could avoid thanks to his reflexes. Also, by using much of his strength coupled with the weight and power of a greatsword, it made them easy to kill no matter how tough his skin was.

After speaking, they went to the circle of fire. Turning it off, Edzard questioned the devils. There he learned that the entire pack was eight members. With that information, Edzard began to sniff the area. In the end, he managed to discover where they had gone. The remaining four wolves had split into two groups. One pair went to the east of their current position and the other two to the west. So, with a quick game of rock, paper, scissors, Asia headed east and Edzard headed west.

Asia was running at high speed as she headed towards the place where the remaining werewolves were. When she was about to arrive, she heard the cry of pain of some creature. From the sound of it, this would be no bigger than a cub, so she quickened her pace as she arrived, she saw a clearing where two werewolves were holding two small reptiles by their wings in their jaws.

Asia's eyes widened when she recognized the creatures that those reptiles were, since she had been in the presence of the three dragons that followed Edzard in power. Because of that, she felt anger when she saw how both werewolves tried to tear the wings of the dragons. So, without a second thought, she discarded her silver sword and summoned Anseichim. With her best weapon in hand, she charged at the werewolves. Unbeknownst to her, her eyes turned red with a vertical pupil.

The werewolves were about to rip the wings off the dragons when out of nowhere they felt that their heads were very light. From one moment to another, their vision darkened, and they no longer felt anything else.

Asia looked at the heads of the werewolves on the ground. Apparently, the skin of the lycanthropes could not withstand the edge of a blade made of meteoric iron. Her gaze went to the dragons as they groaned in pain. After sending her sword to her vault in the palace armory, Asia crouched down and gently took them, put them close to each other and started healing them with her sacred gear.

While healing them, Asia got a better look at them. One of the dragons was blue like diamond and the other was dull blue like ice. While she healed them, Asia used her thumbs to pat their heads to calm them down and make them forget the traumatic experience they had been through.

When the dragons were fully healed, they slowly unfolded their wings and flew up, landed on Asia's shoulders, and started rubbing their heads against Asia's face.

"Ha, ha, ha. Please stop, they tickle me." Asia said between laughs feeling tickles from the caresses of the dragons.

The dragons did not seem to pay attention to her and continued. A few seconds later, however, the dragons stopped and looked to the west. Asia looked at them in confusion and looked to the west. At that moment a huge explosion was heard, and she felt an increase in power so massive that it made the little dragons start trembling in fear from the feeling that power caused.

'This power…. There is no doubt, it is the power of Edzard when he uses the thu'um of the dragon aspect.' Thought Asia worriedly, since it was the first time that he used that form to fight on Earth. Wasting no time, Asia started running towards the west while she was followed by the dragons.

Edzard ran while chasing the scent of the werewolves. The area he was in was curiously devoid of other life forms. Paying no attention to that, he continued running as if nothing had happened. When he finally caught the scent of the werewolves, he caught another scent as well. This scent was one that he recognized very well, since he oversaw hunting them often when they caused problems in Skyrim. So, quickening his pace he kept running. When he got to the place where the scent was originating from, he watched as one of the werewolves was completely burned to ashes.

The being that had killed the lycanthrope was a dragon very different from those of Skyrim, since it stood on four legs and had its wings separated from its two arms. The scales of this dragon were light blue in color and the skin that was not protected by the scales was pale blue.

Seeing his companion killed, the last werewolf tried to escape, but to his misfortune he ran into a silver greatsword aimed at his head. The greatsword easily cut through the flesh of the beast man, who died instantly.

Seeing that the invaders were dead, Edzard turned and tried to leave, but had to jump to the side as a great torrent of flames charged towards him.

"Hey. What happens to you? Why do you attack me?" Edzard asked looking at the dragon.

"ROAAAAAR!" The dragon responded by roaring.

Edzard frowned at the dragon's reaction, he didn't understand why it was attacking him. Thinking for a few seconds, he was finally able to understand what this creature was thinking.

"I see. So, you think I'm with them and you want to kill me." Edzard said sticking his weapon in the ground.

After those words, Edzard began to walk towards the dragon. Sensing the power level of it, he knew from experience that it was not like the dragon he had killed months ago. No, this dragon was stronger than that one. Also, thanks to a book that he had obtained and from talks with Draig, Edzard knew who this dragon was. This dragon was Tiamat, the strongest of the Dragon Kings. A smile appeared on Edzard's face as he watched as Tiamat opened her mouth and breathed flames at him.

"MUL! QA! DIIV!"

The shout caused the breath to become a kind of cocoon of fire, which surrounded Edzard.

"So, Tiamat. Shall we start playing?" Edzard asked as the cocoon of fire began to break into hundreds of pieces.

Tiamat's mind was on the verge of collapse. Her body had multiple injuries. Almost all her bones were broken, her wings had been broken and would be unusable for a very long time, if they weren't permanently unusable. Also, her jaw was broken, which would prevent her from using her breath attack. Her energies were rock bottom, so she was just lying on the ground now. How had she ended up like this? The human who had shown up was supposed to be just a warm-up and a game after those pesky werewolves arrived.

Those werewolves had been strong, but not strong enough to kill her easily. She had only had to fly and use her breath against one of hers to kill him. She had seen the other flee, so she had allowed her to run a few meters and then chase after him as a method of diversion. However, the human had appeared and easily killed him. So, she had decided that he would supplant the lycanthrope. So, she roared to make him run away but seeing that he didn't run away she decided to turn him to ashes and that's when everything changed.

What appeared from that cocoon was not human, it was a dragon. A type of dragon that she had never seen. Their battle was intense, but he always seemed to be one step ahead of her. He was faster and there were times when he would disappear and appear in front of her. His blows were brutal and let's not talk about his magic. She had to dodge a miniature fucking sun. In addition, he used breath of fire and frost, which allowed him to be more flexible when fighting.

'I cannot anymore. If this continues, I will die.' Tiamat thought as she tried in vain to get up. She investigated the shade of the trees and saw those eyes that shone like stars looking at her.

Tiamat's eyes widened as she saw no mockery, no disappointment in those eyes, for what she saw was recognition? She didn't understand what was happening. Slowly, her mind began to fade as she waited for her death. Her only regret was that she didn't get Draig to return her treasure to her.

Edzard heaved a sigh as he felt his transformation complete. Already in his human form, Edzard approached the dragon. A small trickle of blood ran down his face. This originated from the only wound that Tiamat had managed to inflict on him in the entire combat.

"You fought well, Tiamat." Edzard said looking at the dragon on the ground. Sighing, he reached out with both hands and began to heal her.

As he watched Tiamat's wounds slowly disappear, he felt Asia come to the spot. Turning his head, he saw that she did not come alone, for there were also two baby dragons with her, one on each of her shoulders.

"I see you have made new friends, Asia." Edzard said as he continued healing Tiamat.

"Yes. I saved them from the werewolves and now they follow me wherever I go." Asia said with a smile. "I came because I felt your power, Ed. What happened?"

Edzard sighed and told her what had happened. He told her about how he managed to track down the werewolves and that when he arrived, Tiamat had killed one and then he had killed the other. He also told her about how Tiamat had attacked him and how he had defeated her until she was badly injured. Hearing that, Asia joined Edzard to help him heal Tiamat.

When they finished healing the dragon, they both sat down and waited for Tiamat to wake up. Fortunately, they didn't have to wait long, as she woke up a few minutes after being completely healed.

Edzard and Asia watched as Tiamat widened her eyes and started looking around in confusion. When her gaze fell on them, she recognized Edzard and opened her mouth, but before she could attack, Edzard spoke.

"Really, do you want to do it again?" Edzard asked looking at the dragon.

Tiamat shuddered at the memory of their fight and closed her jaws. Looking at Asia, she saw the two baby dragons. Seeing that scene made her curious, so she decided to talk to both.

"This..." Tiamat began to speak without knowing how to speak to whom she had almost killed her a few minutes ago. "Hello?"

Both Edzard and Asia sweated at Tiamat's introduction. Sensing the dragon's discomfort, Asia decided to speak up.

"Hello. It is a pleasure to meet the one who is recognized as the strongest of the Dragon Kings." Asia put on a friendly smile as she spoke.

"Oh. So, you know who I am." Tiamat said looking at Asia. Sniffing, she realized that Asia had Edzard's scent all over her body. This meant that they were both lovers and spent a lot of time together. Deciding to have a more civil conversation, she decided to introduce herself properly. "Nice to meet you, I am Tiamat the Chaos Karma Dragon. And you are?"

"I am Asia Argento Cumberland." Asia said with a smile. "And the one next to me is my husband and his name is Edzard Cumberland Rolandson."

Edzard nodded at his wife's introduction.

"I see. It's nice to meet you. Can I ask you a few things?" Tiamat asked sitting close to both.

"Ok." Edzard replied looking at Tiamat.

"What kind of Dragon are you?" Tiamat asked looking at Edzard. "I have met many and there is only one that is a humanoid dragon. And you're not her."

Edzard tried to reply, but he couldn't decide what to tell her, since he couldn't tell her that he was the son of a dragon god from another world. "I wouldn't know how to say it."

Tiamat looked at Edzard in confusion, but she felt that he didn't know how to talk about this, so she decided not to bother him with it despite her doubts.

"Then how come you are so powerful?"

"I trained in different kinds of fighting, but I was also born with some skills that helped me reach this level."

"Ooh. So, you're one of those rare guys who are prodigies who keep training to get better and aren't confident with their current power?"

"It could be said that I am one of those types." Edzard replied as he had a hand on his chin.

"I see. How powerful is your wife?"

""Ummm. The truth is that I don't know exactly, but if you were to measure it in the power levels that devils use, she would have the power of a High-class devil, bordering on the level of an Ultimate-class devil."

Tiamat looked at Asia in surprise, as for a human that level of power was something amazing. Though, feeling Asia's power better, she also realized something.

"Wow. You are weird. You are a dragon of an unknown type, and your wife seems to be a dragon tamer."

Both Edzard and Asia were amazed to hear that last, especially Asia, because she did not know that she had that ability.

"You mentioned that Asia is a Dragon tamer. What do you mean by that?"

"She has a knack for creating pacts with dragons." Tiamat replied looking at the couple. "The easiest way to tell is by the two high-level dragons she has next to her."

Both Edzard and Asia looked at the little dragons that were resting on Asia's lap.

"Are they really High-Level Dragons?" Edzard asked skeptically, as he didn't feel much power from these little dragons.

"Yes. They are a Dragon Sprite, and the other is a Blizzard Dragon." Tiamat replied watching as both dragons began to caress Asia's abdomen with their heads. "And it seems that both of you wish to form a pact with your wife."

"A pact?" Asia asked confused, because she didn't know it was a pact.

"A familiar contract." Tiamat replied.

"Ooh. I see. And how do you do that?"

Tiamat rolled her eyes seeing Asia completely confused and not knowing what to do. Turning her head, she saw that Edzard had the same expression. Sighing, she told them both what they needed to do to form the pact.

A few seconds after the explanation, Asia could be seen standing looking at the two baby dragons.

"In the name of Asia Argento Cumberland, I take you as my familiars." Asia said as she extended her hands pointing at both dragons.

Both dragons were sitting on the ground as a red magic circle appeared below them. This circle glowed for a few more seconds until it finally disappeared. After that, both dragons flew towards Asia and landed on her shoulders and started licking her face.

"Ha, ha, ha. Stop it already." Laughed Asia, trying to make both dragons stop.

"So, they can now be summoned by Asia at all times?" Edzard asked looking at Tiamat.

"That's how it is. Although, I would recommend that they not be used for combat, since they are still young. Maybe in a couple of years, but not right now."

"I see." Edzard said, but then thought of something. "Tiamat. Can they live outside this forest?"

Tiamat thought for a second and nodded.

"I see. I suppose it would be better to take them home with us."

"I don't think it's recommended to have dragons in the human world."

Edzard looked at Tiamat with a smile. "Who says we live in the human world?"

"If they don't live there. Where they live?" Tiamat asked.

"We live in a dimension or pocket plane created by me." Edzard replied with a smirk.

Tiamat looked at Edzard in surprise. It was not easy at all to create a dimension that existed permanently. With each second and with each thing she learned about Edzard, the more she was intrigued by the young dragon.

'He is very strange. First, an unknown dragon. Second, he has enough power to surpass me, who is the strongest member of the Dragon Kings. Third, he has created a dimension to live in.' Tiamat thought, looking Edzard up and down. Turning from looking at him, she settled her gaze on the cave that was her home in this forest. When she had settled here, she had done it to be at peace after the havoc she had caused in the human world, but now that had gotten boring. 'But now something interesting has appeared in front of me…. Well, I just decided.'

"Hey Edzard." Tiamat called Edzard. Seeing that he was paying attention to her, she said her offer. "What do you think of taking me as familiar?"

Edzard stood still not knowing what to say. But he wasn't the only one, for Asia was also still, even the two little dragons looked at Edzard and Tiamat with their mouths open.

Edzard snapped out of his shock and began to stutter. "W-w-wait. W-w-what did you say?"

"I said that I want to become your familiar."

"B-but. Why do you want to do that?"

"Well. I'm bored and you seem interesting." Tiamat replied looking at Edzard.

Edzard rolled his eyes at that response, but eventually he began to think about the pros and cons of accepting.

'She is strong, and we need all the help to prevent Daedra invasions from causing too much collateral damage. So, I guess having her help would be beneficial.'

Edzard put his hand to his forehead and smiled. "Okay, Tiamat. I agree to make the pact with you."

Tiamat nodded and sat waiting for Edzard to make the pact.

Edzard extended his right hand and pointing at Tiamat, he spoke. "In the name of Edzard Cumberland Rolandson, I take you, Tiamat, as my familiar."

The magic circle that appeared on the ground began to change and went from being the magic circle that Edzard had designed for earth magic to a black one with Aedric characters. Both Tiamat and Edzard grunted as one felt pain in his right wrist and the other in her right front leg. When the circle finished glowing, Edzard saw that the same runes that appeared in ancient scrolls were engraved on his wrist.

"What happened? Did this have to hurt like this?" Edzard asked confused as he looked at his wrist.

"Do not. This is supposed to be painless." Tiamat replied looking at her paw. "Do you know what it is?"

"Do not. I recognize the characters, but I never managed to learn what each one meant." Edzard replied as he put his hand to his chin and began to think, in the end he couldn't figure out why the tattoo appeared. Looking at Tiamat he decided to ask her something. "Tiamat. Do you feel something strange in you?"

"Do not. I don't feel anything strange." Tiamat answered, because besides the pain that the pact caused her, there was nothing strange about her.

"I see. I suppose it will be something decorative that shows that we have a pact."

Tiamat nodded and then spread her wings and glowed.

Edzard and Asia covered their eyes from the glare. When it disappeared, they saw that where Tiamat had been there was now a beautiful woman with straight, long, beautiful pale blue hair and dark blue eyes. she was wearing a light blue dress and was barefoot.

"T-T-Tiamat?!" Edzard and Asia yelled in unison in complete shock.

"That's right." Tiamat said with a smile on her face.

"H-h-how?" Edzard asked.

"Dragons can change shape with magic. Some only change size and others like me can take a human form."

"Oh. That makes sense." Asia said punching her fist into her palm understanding the reason for Tiamat's shapeshifting.

Edzard was about to say something when he was interrupted by a magic circle that appeared in his ear. Answering the call, he spoke to Sirzechs and informed him that the werewolves were already dead. Furthermore, he asked him to send someone to take the corpses away and study them, as he did not know if they were mortal Nirm or Earthlings. Finishing saying that, Sirzechs told him that Marie was at Issei's house. As the conversation ended, Tiamat began questioning Edzard, who told her about the Daedra invasion.

This information made the dragon smile, because her idea of becoming Edzard's familiar had made her get involved in something she never expected a confrontation between beings from different universes. She frowned when she learned that they were headed to the home of the current Sekiryuutei, but then she put on a ghoulish smile as she began muttering plans to torture Draig's wielder. Aside from the information on the invasion, she was also told about Edzard's origin. This made her eyes widen as she learned about the true origin of Edzard's power. With that revelation, she was finally able to understand why he was so powerful.

At the end of the conversation, Edzard created a portal, and everyone went to the Hyoudou residence.

Issei watched Marie play with Gasper and Valerie. His friend's daughter had been left in the care of the ORC after they finished their joint mission with the Student Council. The mission had been simple on paper, as they had to dismantle a group of Daedra worshipers that had appeared in the city. Fortunately, it was not a group that worshiped Bal or Dagon, but they worshiped the one Issei now considered the best prince, Sanguine, the prince of debauchery.

The cult was in the red-light district of the city, so they had to go at nightfall. Fortunately, Valerie had joined his group and the annoying Kiryuu had joined the Council to be able to support them with some scrolls that Edzard had sent them for the mission. The mission seemed simple, because the worshipers did not seem strong, especially the women, whom he thought he could defeat using his Dress Break, but he was wrong, since they continued to fight despite being naked, this made him unable to fight. good.

After defeating them, the real problem came, the leader, who, using a kind of staff with a rose, summoned some beings that according to Edzard's information were Dremoras. The two Dremoras attacked them, and all hell broke loose. In the end, they survived thanks to the daedra's summoning time ending, but to survive they had to fight for almost half an hour consecutively without any rest.

Issei stopped thinking about it as a shadowkey portal opened in the room. Edzard and Asia walked out of the portal, but they weren't the only ones, because he saw two small dragons on Asia's shoulders. Issei quickly identified the little blue dragon as the one that had killed the slime he wanted as a familiar. However, it was the woman who came out at the end that caused him the greatest amazement.

'Damn it, Ed. You already have another woman.' Issei thought, crying with jealousy when he saw that beautiful woman with him. So lost was he in his thoughts, that he didn't sense the killer instinct she was giving him.

"It's been a while, Draig." Said the woman with a smile on her face.

When Issei was about to ask Draig where he knew this woman from, he was interrupted by the dragon on his arm.

[Run partner!]

Issei blinked and saw how the girl was now in front of him and had a macabre smile on her face. Before Issei summoned his sacred gear, he was engulfed in light and his vision went dark.

"Ise!" Rias screamed seeing Issei being kidnapped. Quickly, she looked at the person who had brought the woman to this place. Then, looking at Edzard, she spoke with palpable anger in her voice as the power of destruction became visible over his body. "Edzard. What does this mean? Who is the woman who has taken Issei? Where has she taken him?"

Edzard looked at Rias unperturbed by the aura of the power of destruction she emanated. For a second, he was tempted to cast a spell on her, but in the end, he decided not to, as that would only cause him too much trouble, so he decided to speak. "I don't know where he's taken it. And her name is Tiamat."

Rias's aura vanished the moment she heard that name.

"Y-you said T-Tiamat. H-how the Chaos Karma Dragon Tiamat?" Rias asked between stutters.

Edzard nodded in response. This made Rias slump back on her chair in shock. Coming out of it, she asked Edzard what had happened for Tiamat to be there.

Edzard told him what had happened, of course leaving aside the fact that he had used his dragon aspect.

"So. Asia has two high level dragons as familiars and you have Tiamat?" Rias asked in disbelief at what she just found out.

They both nodded.

"I cannot believe it. Both are very lucky. Especially you, Edzard. You have done something that no devil has done!"

Edzard started scratching the back of his neck uncomfortably while Asia laughed softly at seeing her husband's discomfort.

A few seconds later, the conversation was interrupted when a magic circle shone in the middle of the room.

Everyone's eyes fell there, and they saw how Tiamat appeared holding a passed-out Issei by the collar of his shirt. Dropping it carelessly on the ground, she walked towards Edzard.

"Tiamat. What did you do to Issei?" Edzard asked seeing how Koneko used a stick to push Issei's face, while she asked him if he was still alive.

"Nothing important, I just scared him so he would accept the responsibility of getting my treasure back." Tiamat replied with an innocent smile on her face.

"Lost treasure?" Asia asked confused.

To answer the question, Tiamat began to explain what a treasure was to the dragons. After that, she told them about how Draig had borrowed some parts of her treasure and lost them. That was why she had made Issei promise that he would retrieve those treasures.

Rias sighed when she finished listening to Tiamat's story, because now she understood why she had attacked Issei as soon as she saw him. But that didn't take away from the fact that she was upset about it. However, she was not stupid. She knew that her peerage could not defeat Tiamat.

After that, Edzard took Marie, who was curiously looking at the two dragons hovering near Asia. To Marie's bad luck, both dragons turned their faces away as soon as they saw her, making the little girl sad. When the girl was about to get sadder, she felt someone ruffle her hair. So, looking up, she saw her father give her a smile. Marie also put on a smile and started asking her father various questions. The questions were about what had happened in the forest. Rias and the rest of the devils tried to listen to the conversation, but they couldn't understand anything, as Edzard and his daughter were speaking in Tamrielic.

A few hours later, Edzard, Asia, Marie, Valerie and Tiamat left the Hyoudou residence and returned to the dimension they lived in.

Edzard and company were walking through the streets of Kuoh in the direction of the Hyoudou residence. Three days had already passed since Tiamat and the two dragon hatchlings had arrived at the Cumberland home. Tiamat, who was now wearing a secretary outfit, had taken on the role of an administrator and oversaw keeping an inventory of the items in the house. Of course, Edzard had caught her more than once looking at the gold bars in the treasury and the weapons in the armory. So, to prevent her from stealing anything from him, he decided to give her some weapons and a few thousand Septims to start a new treasury.

Also, in days Edzard had received the report of the studies carried out on the corpses of the werewolves. Apparently, the werewolves were humans from Earth and not mortals from Nirm. This opened a new dilemma, for the only being capable of providing lycanthropy in Nirm was Hircine, the prince of the hunt.

'Damn it, Hircine. What are you playing at by giving this power to normal humans?' Edzard thought with concern. A part of him was worried that Hircine had allied himself with Bal or Dagon. 'Only time will tell. I hope we are not unlucky enough to have Hircine as an enemy as well.'

Aside from this discovery, he also learned that the two dragons that were Asia's familiars were afraid of both him and Marie. In Tiamat's words, this was because they could smell the blood of the dragons he had hunted and felt they would be eaten by him. However, they were also afraid of Marie because she had the same aura of being able to devour dragons. In fact, Tiamat herself confessed to him that she had felt a chill when she recognized the scent of the dragons slain by him.

In addition to that, Edzard had also given the weapon to the Sitri. He had called Sona and told her that the weapon was ready and that was why he would advance the delivery, but that the delivery of the payment would continue the same date.

Flashback

Edzard had left a long wooden box on Sona's desk.

"So. Is this the weapon?" Sona asked looking at the wooden box.

"Yes." Edzard replied opening the box.

The eyes of all the devils, especially Tomoe's, looked in amazement as inside the box there was a katana with its sheath on a blue velvet bed.

The katana had the standard measure, that is, one hundred and ten centimeters long. The hilt or Tsuka was black, which was made of cherry blossom tree wood from the Summerset Isle, the interlacing that covered the hilt was dark blue. The guard or Tsuba was a black circle with the Sitri crest engraved in silver relief. The scabbard was black and shiny, and made of the same wood as the hilt.

"Wow, it's beautiful." Tomoe said approaching the table. With trembling hands, she held the katana with both hands. "It's a bit heavier than a normal katana."

"Of course." Edzard said drawing the attention of the devils in the room. "Since the materials are from Nirm, normally this sword would weigh about ten kilograms. But since I know they weigh less on earth; I've put an enchantment on it that causes its weight to drop by eighty percent."

"Ten kilograms a bloody sword? How physically strong are you?" Saji asked looking at Edzard as if he was a being from another world, but then he remembered that he was from another world.

"Yes, ten kilograms. And that's a one-handed sword. The heaviest greatsword I've ever used weighed fifty pounds. And a Warhammer of that material I think weighed about thirty or thirty-five kilos." Edzard said with a hand on his chin thinking of the weapons he had held.

"How do you think? Don't you use that kind of weapon?" Sona asked looking at Edzard.

"The truth is that while I know how to use a Warhammer, I don't like using it. It's too slow for my liking."

"I see." Sona said before looking at Tomoe. "Tomoe. Draw the weapon."

Tomoe nodded and taking the katana by the hilt, she drew it.

The eyes of all the devils widened when they saw the sword. If the katana seemed beautiful in its sheath, they now had no words to describe it. The blade of the katana was a beautiful slightly transparent pale blue shade that gave the impression that it was made of ice.

"Wow. Is beautiful." Said all the reincarnated devils in amazement.

Tomoe looked at her new sword and couldn't believe that this was the material she had chosen, since it was different from what she remembered. She had chosen a dark green ore not a blue one. So, with that doubt, she decided to ask the blacksmith who had made it.

"Edzard-san. Why is the color different from the mineral I had chosen?"

Edzard looked at Tomoe and smiled at the question. The smile made Tomoe blush a little.

"Truthful. Normally, refined malachite, which is the material I used for your katana, is green. But a very skilled blacksmith can make it take several different colors such as deep red, pale blue, or transparent violet." Edzard said as he explained how different colors of crystal could be obtained.

"I see." Sona said adjusting her glasses. "What skills does the sword have?"

Edzard smiled and extended his hand to Tomoe. She understood what he was asking for and gave him the katana. Then, Edzard walked towards Saji and with a very high speed, he made seven superficial cuts.

"Why do you attack me?!" Saji yelled in panic jumping back. As he jumped, he noticed that he was slower than normal and that his body felt tired. "W-what's wrong with me? Why does my body feel numb, and I feel exhausted?"

"It's because of the passive skill of the sword. This makes whoever is cut by it slow down when moving, as well as making them tired." Edzard replied making all the devils widen their eyes in surprise. "It also has the ability to create ice spikes if you brush the blade to the ground."

Saying that, Edzard made a move, which lightly brushed the tip of the katana with the ground. This caused spikes of ice to appear from the ground and head forward, impaling various pieces of furniture.

"It also allows you to attack with ice magic blast attacks in this way." Edzard said moving the katana with force, causing a blue crescent to appear and destroy a window.

After that, Edzard walked towards Tomoe and as he handed the katana to her, he spoke. "You already saw the abilities this weapon has. Now it all depends on you training to master this weapon."

The moment Tomoe took the weapon, the door to the Council was flung open and some very concerned ORC members entered.

End Flashback

A smile appeared on Edzard's face as he remembered how Rias had entered worried that her friend and rival had come under enemy attack, but then was surprised to see the katana. Edzard had retreated while Sona and Rias were chatting about the katana.

Rias had called him later that day and had tried to get him to tell her all the katana's abilities. But Edzard had refused saying that it was a secret between him and his client.

"What do you think we will do today?" Aika asked.

"I do not know. But I hope it's something fun." Valerie replied with a smile.

"I also. Although I hope Marie has fun too." Asia said as she held Marie in her arms.

"I just hope we don't have to see the Sekiryuutei's baby pictures again." Mittelt said as she walked with her arms crossed over her head.

The girls kept talking about what they would do this day as Edzard, and Tiamat walked calmly a few steps behind them.

Already a few meters from reaching the Hyoudou residence, Tiamat approached Edzard's ear and whispered. "Boss. There is a devil following us."

Edzard nodded and whispered back. "I know. That idiot thinks we can't feel it."

"Shall I take care of him?"

"Do not. I take care of it."

"Got it, boss." Tiamat said with a cheeky smile on her face.

Edzard sighed and put on an amused smile.

As the group entered Issei's house, Edzard stopped and said that he had forgotten something and that he would go pick it up. The girls protested, but Edzard reassured them that it wouldn't be long. So, giving a temporary goodbye, Edzard started to leave the building. When he was about to leave the house, he used the invisibility spell and sneaked out.

He began to follow his nose until he finally found the idiot who was following them. Seeing him, he felt anger and a sinister smile began to form on his face.

'It seems that the fish took the hook.' Edzard thought as he took his shadowkey with his left hand. Without wasting a second, he swiftly charged at the devil. The devil's eyes widened in surprise as he saw Edzard appear in front of him. Unfortunately, the devil reacted very slowly and was caught by Edzard.

Edzard took the devil by the face with his right hand and using his shadowkey with his left, he created a portal through which he crossed taking the devil.

Author's note:

To those who have made it this far, Thanks for reading. Because being honest, I don't know how to write much in English and I'm relying on Google translators and the dictionaries that come with office 2019.

And in the end, both the Dovahkiin and Asia have their own familiars. For now, the two dragons from Asia will remain nameless, because I can't think of anything. I accept suggestions, XD.

Now for those who don't know, the reason for Edzard's concern with Hircine is because in the Elder scrolls lore Hircine is rumored to have an alliance with Dagon, but it is mentioned that it is not known if it is real, since that there has been no evidence to confirm it. Also, Hircine's werewolves will have a slightly more active role in the vampire arc. Which would start in about fifteen to twenty chapters, XD.

Shadow55: Thanks for the review

tsun: wow. It seems that you hate Issei, luckily after this chapter he won't make any appearance for about three or four chapters. XD

Well, I apologize for any misspelling. Do not forget to leave a review if you liked the chapter or if there is something that needs to be improved or if you have any questions about the story. With nothing more to say, until the next chapter.
