Description:A large stone bridge overlooking a set of spikes on Shang Tsung's island and a bottom covered in corpses of the fallen, the Pit XI is also adorned with large spikes keeping anyone from stepping too far off the edge although that doesn't prevent anyone from getting knocked off... One of Shang Tsung's old thrones rests on the end of the bridge, blocking off the crumbled end and on the other, a new soul-casket has blocked off any hope of retreating without first finishing the opponent.
Interactables-
-The stone spikes on the edges in the middle can be used to slam the opponent's face, causing a nasty impact that cracks the front of their skull before shattering them completely. This can be done three times before the spikes run out.
-The throne at the right corner of the stage can be clambered up and jumped off of, putting the Kombatant behind their opponent. This can be used repeatedly.
-The Soul Casket at the left corner of the stage can be swung into the opponent, knocking them back to the end of the screen and detonating the lower part in an explosion of souls. This can only be used once.
Stage Fatalities-
Pit XI:The opponent is uppercutted off the platform and screams as they fall all the way down to the bottom, groaning because of their injured back, but shocked that they are perfectly fine before a swarm of Oni descend on them and start ripping into their stomach to feast. The opponent's misfortune continues as one Oni on their left and right side rip an arm and a leg off respectively to eat them before another one rips their head up and holds it triumphantly as the screen focuses on the feast with entrails occasionally being seen in the mob.
Lost Hive of the Kytinn:The player character runs away as the giant Kytinn breaks through the barrier, revealing itself to be a living Queen the grabs the opponent between its pincers and lifts them up as they struggle to get free. The Queen proceeds to jab the opponent's chest with her inner mouth and starts draining their organs and blood out as their body grows pale and goes limp before cleaving them in half at the waist as smaller Kytinn buzz around the bisected opponent.
The Hourglass:The opponent is uppercutted right into the Hourglass as they crash through the glass and land in the sand pile before the hole repairs itself and they stand up to understand the situation before noticing their arm is being stripped down to nothing. The opponent panics as their legs start getting added to the Hourglass' sand next, their torso and other arm being next, and finally their head disintegrates into sand before falling in the pile, leaving only the Hourglass in the shot.
Stage Brutalities-
Pit XI:The opponent gets their head slammed into one of the stone spikes but it pops out the other side of their head before the Kombatant stomps on their back and another one juts out through their chest and out the back, leaving the body to twitch as they pose.
Wu Shi Dragon Grotto:The Kombatant pulls the sword out to slash the opponent's face but cuts their head in half at the temple, causing their face to fall off and their brain to spill out before the Kombatant stabs the blade into their mouth, keeping the body slumped over as the pommel rests on the ground and they pose.
