Moxxie and Millie were alone for this job. Their target was the manager of a fashion event who killed his business partner, I.M.P's client, once their job became more lucrative so he wouldn't have to split the money. Under the cover of the event, Millie and Moxxie snuck through to his office overlooking the catwalk. Millie broke down the door, revealing the manager at his desk. Before he could say a word, Moxxie pulled out his silenced pistol and shot him right between the eyes. He then went over to the corpse and hid it behind the desk so no one could find until after they left.

When Moxxie was done with that, he noticed Millie looking out the window overlooking the event in awe. "What is it?" Moxxie asked.

"Satan, just look at them." Millie said, her eyes still on the event. Moxxie looked out the window too and saw the models in their outfits walking back and forth across the catwalk. "They're so gorgeous." Millie said.

Moxxie put an arm around his wife. "Hey, you know that you're more beautiful than all of those models combined."

Millie smiled before kissing Moxxie on the cheek. "Thanks, Sweetie. But don't worry about me, I don't have self-esteem issues. Still, I'd be lying if I said it wouldn't be nice to be a model walking down something like that."

Moxxie watched the event with Millie for a bit, then got an idea. And he knew just the person to talk to make it a reality.

Once they came back to the office, Moxxie went to see Velvette, I.M.P's PR manager, who was at her desk, browsing Sinstagram.

"Hello, Velvette." Moxxie said. "Mind if I ask you something?"

"No, we're not doing a musical segment for the next ad." Velvette said, pulling up from her phone.

"I… don't recall ever suggesting that, but that's not why I'm here. You used to own some fashion companies, right?"

"Yeah, when I was an overlord. Why do you care?"

"Because I was wondering if you could organize a private fashion event for Millie. It would just be us 2, and Millie would be the only model."

"Are… are you fucking serious? You're serious… fuck no!"

"But couldn't you-"

"I can't do shit! I'm not an overlord anymore, I don't have those connections. Let's say I could get you a place with a runway, what the fuck would she wear?"

"It doesn't matter, as long as she feels like a model." Moxxie went on his knees and put his hands together. "Please, Velvette, this woman means everything to me, and I want to make her feel special."

"You do that all the goddamn time, though."

"Yes, but this time you could make it happen. I don't know how the fashion industry works like you do! Despite what you think, I never ask you for anything! Please, help me make Millie feel like the beauty she is to me!"

Velvette wanted to say piss off, but one look at his puppy dog eyes, and she was struggling internally, fighting off the urge to say yes. Eventually the yes won and she broke. "Bloody hell, fine! You're lucky you're so fucking adorable!"

Moxxie got back on his feet. "Thank you, Velvette! I'll owe you for this!"

"You better! Now, one of my ex-minions runs a clothing brand. I'll see if I can call her and get her rejected pieces."

1 Week Later

Velvette drove M to an unmarked building near the center of Pentagram City. Millie had no idea what was in store for her, all Moxxie said was that it was a surprise. Once they entered the building, they were greeted with a massive room with spotlights set up at the top pointing towards a catwalk at the center. Millie gasped when she saw this.

"You didn't!" Millie said in disbelief.

"I sure did." Moxxie said with a smirk on his face. "Of course, Velvette helped out a lot."

"And now I have to be a clown in my ex-minion's kid's birthday party." Velvette said. "You better be fucking happy."

Millie pulled her husband in for a big hug. "Yer the best husband ever!"

"Anything for the best wife ever." Moxxie replied. He then led her into the backstage area, where Millie saw what appeared to be 50 stands with the most gorgeous outfits she had ever seen on them.

Millie didn't even try to hide her amazement. "Oh, Mox, you didn't have to do this."

"But I wanted to." Moxxie said. "I said that you were more beautiful than all of those models back on Earth, so here's your chance to feel like how I see you." He gave Millie a quick kiss on the lips. "Now give a shout when you've picked something so we can start the show."

Moxxie left Millie alone backstage to decide her fit. When he came back to the main room, he saw that the spotlights were turned on as he went to sit next to Velvette at a desk in front of the runway. "Looks like everything still works here." Moxxie said.

"Of course it does." Velvette said. "They're not using it, but it doesn't mean it's abandoned."

"I'm ready!" Millie shouted from backstage.

"That was quick." Velvette said before speaking into the mic on her side of the desk. "Ok everyone, and by everyone I mean… us. Welcome to the… I don't know, The Millie Fashion Show? Yeah, The Millie Fashion Show! Let's not waste any more time and get this started!"

Velvette pushed the button on the desk that turned on the speakers, which began playing music. Millie took this as her que to come out on the runway, revealing her outfit. It was a dress that reminded her of her wedding dress, only this one was black on top and the bottom half was blue. As she walked down the runway, Velvette spoke. "And for our first piece, we have - oh my god, it's fucking hideous!"

"She's amazing." Moxxie said. Despite Velvette's bitching, Millie was having a great time pretending to be a model, with Moxxie's smile adding to her enjoyment. Once she got to the end of the runway, she walked backstage.

"I can see why that was rejected. Should've just been burned to a crisp." Velvette said. "Let's see what else this wardrobe has in store for us." Soon enough, she came out with a golden dress that stopped at her thighs. Moxxie felt like he was looking at a golden goddess as she walked down the runway, and Millie definitely felt like she was one.

Velvette, on the other hand, looked like she was being tortured. "I sincerely hope that whoever designed this is blacklisted from the fashion industry." She said as Millie once again went backstage. She later came back out with a purple outfit with a pencil skirt and long sleeves like she was a sexy office lady.

Once again, Moxxie stared in awe while Velvette was trying her hardest not to gouge her eyes out. "If I was still an overlord and one of my minions suggested I wear this monstrosity, I would've killed them on the spot."

Throughout the next hour, Millie came on and off the runway wearing different outfits each time. Moxxie would always admire how good his wife looked in these clothes, while Velvette would always critique them like she was fashionista Gordon Ramsay or Simon Cowell. But throughout it all, Millie truly felt like a model. Even though there were no cameras, Millie could feel as if there were designers and photographers in the audience to her right and left. But the main thing she kept her eyes and focus on was Moxxie, who always looked at her like she was the most beautiful thing in the room. It gave her the confidence to strut around with these outfits that were arguably trash.

The last outfit she wore on the runway was a pink virgin-killing sweater. "I guess we're in the year 2017 now." Velvette said as Millie walked to the end of the runway, noticing that Moxxie wasn't there next to Velvette. "Ok, show's over, thank god. I don't have to look at these crimes against fashion anymore." Velvette looked to her right and also noticed that Moxxie was gone. "... Moxxie!?" she said.

"Coming out now!" They heard his voice coming from backstage, and soon enough he came out on the runway wearing a black leotard covered in glitter. Velvette was shocked at how well he made the outfit work for him, even if it was also a travesty in her eyes. Millie wasn't surprised though, to her he looked sexy in anything, just like how Moxxie thinks anything she wears looks good on her. Once Moxxie got to the end of the runway, he pulled out a mic.

"Thank you, everyone!" He said to the imaginary audience (and Velvette). "I'm glad you all got to enjoy my amazing wife absolutely rocking these outfits! I know I didn't have to do this, but she deserved to feel like the goddess she is! To me, every smile, laugh, and corpse she makes, it makes me feel like a designer watching the most beautiful model in the world walk the runway. I love you so much, Millie."

Millie gave the biggest smile she could before hugging her husband. "I love you too, sweetie. But you're not a designer, you're my fellow model, the sexiest, most loving model I've worked with." Now Moxxie gave his big smile before Millie kissed him on the lips.

Seeing these two pour out their heart and soul for each other, Velvette caught herself grinning, alongside a strange feeling in her chest. She put her hand over her heart, wondering if she was having a heart attack, but this feeling wasn't painful, if anything it felt sweet.

Was she… feeling happiness for someone other than herself?

Nah, it was probably nothing.
