This is the life story of Peter Parker as the legendary hero Spider-Man. This will explore his destiny as a hero as he goes on the most difficult journey, he'll faces off against all sorts of danger and saving lives, he'll meet and team up with other heroes like himself in his long quest to becoming the greatest hero of all time.

97. IV: West Coast Avengers

Volume IV: West Coast Avengers

This will be the twenty-second of Volume IV, Spider-Man resumes his status as a reserve Avenger as he joins a new team of Avengers in the West Coast based in San Francisco, consisting of Iron Man who leads the new team, along with War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Hawkeye. Danger comes to the West Coast as a Russian terrorist organization called Leviathan launch an attack on US soil, they sent in their most deadliest strike team called Zodiac, with the help of a certain secret ally willing to betray his country for power and profit, they learned about a powerful weapon in the possession of Stark Industries as they're going to steal it to use in their terror attack, the Avengers are racing against time to put a stop to their terror schemes that could threaten a lot of American lives and spark a huge war. One of the Avengers will end up getting injured in the process as Spider-Man will be forced to step up and assume command of the team. Eddie Brock returns as he's stayed hidden in San Francisco for months, but recent events will force him to step back into the action, this'll attract the attention of the Life Foundation as they make a move against him. Peter will cross paths with someone from his past, a young woman he once knew as she's tied to his destiny. Around the same time, Wanda still has some feelings for Peter, also Vision is starting to learn more about being human being around his teammates.

The day is May 12th, time is 7:03 AM in the island state of Hawaii, on the island of Oahu in the capital city of Honolulu, the entire city is under attack by a group of extra-dimensional beings called Elementals consisting of their leader Hellfire, along with Hydron, Magnum, and Zephyr, each member control an elemental power. A lot of civilians are running away from all the chaos as Honolulu PD are doing their best to hold them off, but they're way out of their leagues against these fours powerful beings. The police are still shooting as Magnum uses his power of earth to lift the ground to form a barrier to protect them from bullets, Zephyr hovers herself in the air and unleashes her power of air, she unleashed a strong wind upon the cops as they're getting lifted off the air and sent flying, a few more cops are still standing behind the squad cars as Hellfire steps up and uses his power of fire, he unleashed fireballs upon the cruisers as they blew up upon contact, the cops are all retreating back as they're being overpowered, Hydron uses his power of water to summon burst of water from the manholes and stopped everyone from escaping further into the city, everyone in the middle of Waikiki are very frighten for their lives as the Elementals are walking up to introduce them.

"People of this wonderful island, I am Hellfire, these are my loyal companions Hydron, Magnum, and Zephyr, we are the Elementals." Hellfire said.

One of the civilians step forward, a young Hawaiian woman. "What do you want?"

"We've been exiled from this dimension for a very long time, now we're back and we need a place to call our own, this lovely island you have will do nicely. Though, it could use some cleansing, Hydron, would you care to do the honors?" Hellfire said.

Hydron chuckles. "With pleasure, watch this."

Hydron turns his view to the ocean as he focuses his powers, a huge tide wave is forming up far out from the island and heading straight this way, it triggered a tsunami alert all over the island, Hydron has summoned a huge tsunami powerful enough to engulf the entire city if not the island itself, many people will die as they're about to face. Coming in flying above the Pacific Ocean is the Avengers quintet as they got a good look at the enormous tsunami heading for Oahu, inside the quinjet are Iron Man who leads this team of Avengers consisting of War Machine, Vision, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch and last but not least Spider-Man who is filling the slot temporarily as he's back to resume his status as a reserve Avenger, the team are assembled together as a the holoscreen shows up.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., what's the status?" Iron Man said.

"A huge tsunami is heading for the island of Oahu, the tsunami alert has already been issued, but the size of the waves is powerful enough to engulfed the entire city of Honolulu along with the entire island, thousands will be killed instantly." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Time of impact?" Iron Man said.

"Three minutes." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Zoom in on the city itself, give us image of the individuals responsible for this chaos." Iron Man said.

The holoscreen zooms in on Waikiki to see a lot of people trapped in the city, pictures of the villains responsible for this incident happening, all four are dressed in strange clothing as each of them are displaying powers over the elements.

"Who the hell are these guys?" Hawkeye said.

"Well whoever they are, they seem to be the one responsible for creating this monster tsunami." Spider-Man said.

"Alright Avengers, this is what we're gonna do, Vision, Rhodey, and I will engaged these beings and keep them occupied, Peter and Clint, you both provide protection for the civilians, get them clear of the fight, Wanda, I need you to remain on the quintet, use your powers to stall the tsunami, buy us some time. Are we all in agreement?" Iron Man said.

"Agreed!" All the Avengers are in agreement.

Iron Man opens up the back ramp as he along with War Machine and Vision are standing over, Hawkeye and Spider-Man hopped onto the sky-cycle, all five are about to head out to battle.

"Okay Avengers." Iron Man locks down his visor. "Let's go say Aloha to our new enemies."

Iron Man, War Machine, and Vision are the first ones to take flight from the quintet with the sky-cycle riding out carrying Hawkeye and Spider-Man, all five are heading for Honolulu as the quintet has switched to autopilot as it's flying in front of the monster tsunami, Scarlet Witch is standing over the ramp as her hands are glowing red, she takes a deep breath and focus on the tsunami, the entire waves are glowing red as they're being pushed back while Scarlet Witch maintains her concentration.

Back in Waikiki, the people along with the Elemental noticed the waves are stopping in their place and glowing all red for some reason, this caught the Elementals attention as they're wondering what's going on.

"What the..." Hellfire said.

All of a sudden, a repulsor was fired and hit Hellfire, he fell down as the other three Elementals look up to see Iron Man hovering in the air along with War Machine and Vision, the sky-cycle landed down as Hawkeye and Spider-Mana are on the ground, the people of Hawaii are happy to see the Avengers are here, Hellfire is standing back up to see who attacked him.

"Aloha!" Iron Man still hovering.

"How dare you? Do you know who you're dealing with?!" Hellfire said.

"Do you? We're the Avengers, we're like the Five-O of heroes." Iron Man said.

"Except you're no Steve McGarrett." War Machine said.

"Seriously, do you have to kill my buzz right now?" Iron Man said.

"Enough of this! Let's just get rid of them all." Zephyr got impatient.

Zephyr unleashes her air powers upon her enemies as Iron Man and War Machine are being pushed back by hard and Vision is phasing himself, Magnum summons rocks from the ground and tossed them at the two heroes. Iron Man fires off his repulsors and War Machine fires his gatling gun destroying the rocks into piece, Spider-Man and Hawkeye are busy helping the civilians get clear of the street.

"Everyone! Take cover inside the buildings!" Spider-Man telling everyone.

All the civilians are running into any building they can get to while the Avengers are too busy keeping the Elementals busy, Hydron is still focusing on the waves far out at sea trying to get them moving again, Scarlet Witch is still doing her best to hold the waves back as they're being manipulated by Hydron. Vision could sense that Scarlet Witch is struggling as he's concerned for her, he turns to Hydron who seems to be the source of this tsunami, he moves in but Hellfire steps up and unleashed his super hot flames upon the hero as he fell down, he's still pinned down by Hellfire.

Spider-Man and Hawkeye are still in the middle of getting civilians off the streets, one of them is young Hawaiian woman, a hula dancer as she tripped, Spidey spotted the woman is down on the ground, Zephyr is still unleashing her air powers upon the Avengers as she spotted a local down, she turns her powers onto the girl and unleashed a powerful burst, the hula dancer is frighten until Spider-Man came in swinging and swooped her off the ground, he swinging her to safety, Zephyr still got sight on the hero swinging away as she's about to make her move again, but an arrow is fired towards her direction as it got close enough to sent out a powerful flash, blinding her. Hawkeye was the one who fired that arrow as Spider-Man got the hula girl to safety, she's very grateful to her savior.

"Are you okay?" Spider-Man said.

"I am, Mahalo."

"Ah... yeah." Spider-Man then swings away.

Zephyr is still recovering her sight as Spider-Man came in for a drop kick and knocked her down hard, she's down on the ground and Spidey quickly webs her up for good measure. Vision is still pinned down by fire as Iron Man spotted his teammate in danger, he flies in closer to Hellfire as he turns his attention to Iron Man and unleashed fire towards him.

"Time to chill!" Iron Man said.

Iron Man pulls out zero-cannon and unleashed a concentrated beam of subzero energy upon the flame as they canceled each other out, Vision is clear of the flames as he spotted Hydron still concentrating on the tsunami as Scarlet Witch is holding back as much as she can but she's starting to exhaust herself, Vision quickly unleashed his solar energy beam and took out Hydron as he went down and lost his focus, the tsunami suddenly stops and the water levels went back to normal, Scarlet Witch stopped using her powers as the tsunami has ended and she relaxes.

Spider-Man webs down Hydron for good measure as War Machine fire off his gatling at Magnum as the villain pulls up an earth wall to protect himself, War Machine switches from bullets to rockets as he fires a volley upon the wall, blowing it up into pieces and knocked down Magnum as he out cold and down for the count, afterwards he ends up being webbed up too. Iron Man is still in the middle of combat against Hellfire as fire and ice cancels each other continuously, neither are able to take out the other with their regular attacks.

"Why don't you give up and let us have this island?" Hellfire is ticked off.

"Can't do that, time to say aloha. Meaning hello, but it also means goodbye." Iron Man said.

Iron then decides to improvise and switched to charging up his arc reactor, Hellfire unleashes his flames upon the armored avenger, Iron Man then unleashed his powerful unibeam straight at Hellfire, shooting through the flames until they reached and hit Hellfire, he went down instantly and was defeated, Spider-Man walks up to an unconscious Hellfire and webs him up, all four of the Elementals are defeated and captured. The quinjet eventually touched down on the beach of Waikiki as Scarlet Witch is coming towards her teammates, all are assembled together with their defeated enemies, Vision came up to Scarlet Witch looking all concerned as she looks tired out from pushing by the tsunami with her powers.

"Are you alright?" Vision said.

"Yeah... just a little tired out. I'll be okay Vision, really." Scarlet Witch said.

Vision can't help but be concerned for Scarlet Witch's well being, this hasn't happened before in his life, being emotional is new to him. Coming towards the Avengers are the locals as they're all happy that Earth's Mightiest Heroes came and saved all of Oahu, everyone gathered around to meet their heroes, taking pictures and selfies, a few Hawaiian hula dancers came up and placed some leis around Spider-Man's neck as they're into him, Hawkeye can't help but being a bit jealous Spidey is getting all the female attention, the Avengers are glad they made it in time and saved Hawaii from the Elementals.

About an hour and a half later after their mission in Hawaii is done, the quinjet is flying over the Pacific Ocean heading back to their compound in San Francisco, Hawkeye is at the cockpit piloting the craft as Tony and Rhodey are out their armors relaxing, Vision is watching Wanda rest up after a hard day of saving an entire island from a tsunami, Peter is in his costume still has the leis around his neck, he's eating breakfast from a box as Tony and Rhodey are curious what exact he's eating, it looked Hawaiian.

"Worked up quite an appetite, don't you?" Tony said.

"That, and I didn't get the chance to have some breakfast since we were in a rush." Peter said.

"What's that you're eating?" Rhodey said.

"Oh, I stopped by this local restaurant called Rainbow, I think they call it Loco Moco. It's like rice, hamburger, eggs, and gravy put together." Peter took a bite from plastic fork and chews. "Hmm, this combo is delicious."

"So how does it feel being back with the Avengers?" Tony smile.

"Honestly Tony, I was surprised, didn't expect to be coming out here to the West Coast for a couple weeks." Peter takes sip of soda.

"Sorry about that, with Spider-Woman on maternity leave, we're down one member and you're the only one available to fill the roster." Tony said.

"It's fine, it feels good being an Avenger again, didn't expect Jessica to be expecting." Peter said.

"Yeah, most likely she'll take early retirement from the hero life, stop being Spider-Woman, we're still in the process of finding someone to take her place. Don't worry, you'll be back in the East Coast in time for your big day." Tony smile.

Peter smiles. "The big day."

"I'm happy for you, kid. Speaking of which, we should probably discuss having a bachelor party before you leave." Tony said.

"Please tell me you haven't been talking to Harry, he's already bugging me on having one." Peter said.

"And... what did you say?" Tony said.

"I told him I'll think about." Peter said.

"You're stalling, which means we'll have to intervene on his behalf and have our own private bachelor party." Tony smile.

"Oh I'm down with that." Clint smile.

"Me too." Rhodey smile.

"No, no way, I appreciate it, but no thanks." Peter said.

"You sure kid, you would've loved it." Tony said.

"Thanks, but I rather not do something crazy, all I want is to get married to the love of my life in front of a lot of people, that's it." Peter said.

"And you will, she's lucky to have you." Tony said.

"Let's just hope nothing big will be happening anytime soon." Peter said.

It's 12:04 PM in the country of Canada, in Vancouver, British Columbia, at the airport a lot of people are coming in on flight, among them are 12 individuals all in line as they're being checked out by airport security, they hand them their passports to be scanned as the computer runs them against the international database, the first man waited as he remains calm as he can be, he's coming under the alias of "Cornelius van Lunt", the computer finished scanning and the passport has been accepted, the customs man stamped the passport and hands it back to the man.

"Okay, enjoy your stay in Vancouver."

"Sure, thank you."

The man took the passport and walks away as the next guy is hands his passports. About many minutes later, eleven of them are waiting for the last guy to be finished checked out, they spotted him coming their way as all twelve of them are together.

"Alright, time to head down the to the boarder, our associate will be waiting on the other side."

All these men seemed to have a foreign accent, it sound Russian, indicating they're all Russian nationals who seemed to adapted in speaking normal English, they're all walking out of the airport to catch cabs, their next destination is to the US-Canadian border as they're heading towards America on a mission and to meet up with a secret ally across the border.

Later it's 2:03 PM in San Francisco, California, the city and it's people are all busy with the coming Fleet Week happening very soon, many are anxious to welcome back soldiers overseas, among the people are Eddie Brock who has stayed hidden her for months has managed to keep a low profile as he's working at the local fish market, his appearance looked scruffy to hide his appearance. Meanwhile just outside the city near the Golden Gate Bridge is the new Avengers Compound in Hawk Hill, it's the home to the West Coast Avengers as everyone are just relaxing after their mission in Hawaii, Clint is in the garage tuning up his Challenger with Lucky the Pizza Dog nearby eating pizza like always, in one of the rooms is Wanda doing yoga in front of the TV, in the next room is Vision reading books, at the huge living room with a perfect view of San Francisco is Peter still taking online classes on his laptop while the TV is still on showing local news.

"A massive manmade tsunami came close to engulfing all of Hawaii, but once again Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers did the impossible, saving the island of Oahu from a group of extra-dimensional beings calling themselves the Elementals, all of Hawaii are very grateful for their brave heroics. And in other news, ships from each of the US Navy's Pacific Fleets are passing by Pearl Harbor as the local are celebrating Fleet Week that has been scheduled months earlier than usual, tomorrow the ships will arrive in San Francisco Bay, so be sure to get their earlier at the Golden Gate Bridge to welcome back our men and women serving our country..."

Peter listened while doing online classes, he then heard a phone ringing next to the laptop, he stopped and closes the laptop, he then switched off the tv and picks up the phone to see his fiancée Gwen Stacy calling from New York, he smiles as he answers the call.

Peter holding the phone to his ear. "Gwendy..."

"Hi Pete, I'm here alone at our apartment, I just saw you on the news saving Hawaii with the Avengers." Gwen said.

"Yeah, from these benders calling themselves Elementals." Peter said.

"Benders?" Gwen said.

"Yeah, you know like that Avatar show." Peter said.

"Still a nerd." Gwen said.

"Look who's talking, but that's what I love about you, you're both smart and sexy." Peter flirts.

"Oh stop... by the way, how's Hawaii?" Gwen said.

"It's beautiful, might be an ideal place for a honeymoon, if that's what you're into, unless you want it Caribbean, Polynesian, or European." Peter said.

"Anywhere sounds great... just one month away from being Mrs. Gwen Parker." Gwen said.

"Or Gwen Stacy-Parker if you still want to hyphenate, like I said before. So how's New York?" Peter said.

"It's been peaceful, crime has been very low in this past month, hardly any trouble around here. I only hope nothing bad happens on our wedding day." Gwen said.

"Me too, Gwen, me too." Peter said.

"So how is it in the West Coast?" Gwen said.

"Weather is much warmer as I remember it, food here is good too, though to tell you the truth, I'd rather back back home by your side." Peter said.

"Me too Pete, I miss having you in our bed." Gwen said.

"I can't wait to come back home, sleeping with you, feeling the warmth of your skin, your lovely scent, and... you know!." Peter flirts.

"Peter..." Gwen sounded happy.

"Well.. I gotta get back to class, I'm already tardy enough just being out here, thank god for online classes." Peter said.

"Okay, I'll be waiting for you to come home, you go on and be the hero the world needs." Gwen said.

Peter smile. "I love you Gwen."

"I love you too Pete." Gwen then blows a kiss over the phone.

Peter hangs up the phone and smiles, he can't wait to go back home to New York to be with Gwen, he's still got one month left before he ties the knot with Gwen in holy matrimony, for now he's stays focused on being the hero the Avengers need til then. Wanda is nearby as she noticed Peter being happy talking over with the woman he loves, Wanda never experienced love with another person due to her fears on others viewing her different cause of her powers.

Time is 3:20 PM in the State of Washington somewhere south of the US-Canadian Border, the twelve Russian nationals are in US soil as they've just arrived outside of a warehouse, they approached cautiously inside only to find a group of men with customs crates in front of them, here they meet up with a secret ally, or more accurately an emissary in glasses wearing a suit holding a tablet in his hand, this man is none other than Donald Menken, Norman Osborn's right hand man, as the twelve men came up to meet up with the guy.

"I take it you're all Leviathan." Donald Menken said.

"We are, and you are?"

"Merely a messenger, I came on behalf of my employer who still wishes to remain anonymous, you can understand the need for discretion." Donald Menken said.

"Fair enough, did you bring in our stuff?"

Menken gave the signal as men are opening up crates, inside each of them are costumes of flamboyant and theatrical, each of them have signs of the Zodiac along with the logo for Leviathan, the organization they belong to, inside the crates are specialized weapons for each operative to use, all twelves are getting closer look at their stuff.

"I trust these are yours?" Donald Menken said.

"They are... how'd you get all these across the border?"

"My employer has a lot of powerful connections, especially when selling dangerous tools to groups like yours." Donald Menken said.

"And yet, business seemed to be grinding to a halt in recent months as our organization is concerned."

"We had some setbacks, courtesy of a certain hero who's made our activities... difficult. But that's not your concern, I believe this is." Donald Menken said.

Menken hands the leader the tablet as he reads everything related to a powerful prototype weapon created by Stark Industries.

"This is everything our spy in Stark Industries has gathered, this weapon is powerful enough to rip a submarine in half, it's stored at their R & D facility in Seattle, guarded by 24/7 security with state-of-the-art weapons, it's no easy job." Donald Menken said.

"Let us worry about that. And what about the event happening tomorrow?"

"It's all there in the tablet, time and place, everything you need to strike. So... are you satisfied?" Donald Menken said.

"Absolutely, but we have to ask, how does your employer willing to go so far as to betray his own country?"

"My employer has no loyalty to anyone but himself, not even to this country nor to your cause, to him it's just business." Donald Menken said.

"Of course, he want to start a war, he want it to happen, all in the name of business, in other words he's using us... typical Americans."

"And you're using him too, so don't take it too personally." Donald Menken said.

"No matter, as long as we get what we want, it makes no difference to us."

"Did you bring the payment?" Donald Menken said.

The leader tells his man to walk up to Menken with a briefcase, Menken holds it and opens it up to see bearer bonds.

"Just as we discussed, millions in bearer bonds. Satisfied?"

"Very, my employer will be too." Menken closed the case. "Gentlemen, I believe our business has been concluded, what you do from here on out is your business."

Donald Menken took the payment in bearer bonds and signals his men as all of them are leaving after completing their duty in helping their Russian associates smuggling in their personal stuff past customs and providing intel on a dangerous weapon as well as a potential target on a event happening very soon. After Menken and his men left the warehouse, the twelve men all started suiting up in their own suits and arming themselves with specialized weapons unique to each suit. The leader is called Taurus, the others following him are Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries, together they form a deadly terrorist strike team called Zodiac.

It's 4:01 PM back in Northern California at the West Coast Avengers Compound, the sun is still sunny as 18 year old Wanda Maximoff is walking outside to the pool wearing a red bikini carrying a towel and a bottle of suntan lotion as she spotted someone swimming in the pool as she took a seat on the lounge chair as she starts applying some lotion on her arms, coming out of the pool is Peter Parker wearing a blue swim trunks, he's all wet and showing off his figure as Wanda stopped rubbing lotion upon looking, she can't help but feeling attracted to her friend as Peter picks up a towel and drying himself off, he then noticed Wanda looking at him as she turned away blushing feeling aroused upon seeing his attractive figure.

"Wanda?" Peter said.

Wanda still blushing. "Sorry, I didn't know anyone would be out here."

"Oh yeah, I figured after finishing class, I come out here for a swim to clear my head, some Gwen would often do. But, I could go if you need some privacy." Peter said.

"No, wait! Please stay, I got nothing else to do around here and I could use someone to talk to. Please sit." Wanda said.

Peter walk up to the lounge chair next to Wanda's as she's still a bit shy having a handsome guy her age this close to her, Peter just finished drying himself off.

"So what do you want to talk about?" Peter said.

"What's it like, being in college?" Wanda is curious.

"Oh, well, it's a step up from high school, except it's more expensive and there are a lot of requirements needed to be taken to pursue a specific career in life. For me, it's science, it's always been my passion, Gwen's too. Have you ever thought about going to college?" Peter said.

"I did, but I can't." Wanda said.

"Why not?" Peter said.

"Cause I never graduated high school, or even attended high school." Wanda said.

"Really?" Peter looks surprised.

"Me and Pietro never had a normal life, growing up without parents and having to move around a lot, we hardly have a place to call home, we hardly fit in anywhere with these gifts we have." Wanda said.

"I see." Peter said.

"A part of me wants to attend college, Tony recommended I take one of those test, a general ed..." Wanda said.

"GED." Peter said.

"Yes, that... though to be honest, I never thought of any career I wanted to pursue, I didn't think my life could have any purpose, that is until I learned I could uses these powers of mine to do good." Wanda said.

"And you did, I'm glad that you're a Avenger, you did great work out there, you saved an entire island from a massive tsunami, you're amazing." Peter smile.

Wanda smiles warmly upon hearing Peter's compliment and kindness, just like the first time they meet.

"Thank you... listen, do you think you can help me apply some lotion on my back?" Wanda holding a bottle.

Peter sighs. "Sure, turn over."

Wanda turns around as she's unclips her bra as Peter looks away, Wanda sets the bra aside as she lay on her stomach with her arms crossed resting her head against them, Peter applies some lotion onto his hands and rubs them, he then rubs Wanda's back as she has her eyes closed and she smile feeling relaxed, all of a sudden the Avenger alert has been tripped as Peter stopped rubbing as he and Wanda hear it too, Wanda raised her up all topless in his presence as they're too distracted by the alert.

"Looks like we got another mission, let's go." Peter suddenly noticed Wanda being topless. "Ah... you might want to cover 'em up."

Wanda noticed her toplessness. "Oh!"

Wanda quickly picks up her bra and puts it back on as she and Peter are heading back inside the compound, inside the mission room are Tony, Rhodey, Clint, and Vision as Peter and Wanda came in in their swimsuits.

"Sorry to interrupt your pool time under the sun." Tony said.

"Don't worry, what do we have?" Peter said.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., what's the situation?" Tony said.

A holoscreen is showing live footages from a Stark R & D facility in Seattle currently under attack by a 12 man team in costumes, taking down security along with their most advanced automated system within minutes, even Seattle PD are having trouble containing the situation.

"The R & D facility in Seattle is under attack by a twelve man team armed with deadly hi tech weaponry, they managed to overpower security, even the Seattle Police Department are having trouble keeping them at bay."

"Oh no." Tony is stunned.

"What is it?" Clint said.

"That R & D facility, it's Stark Industries, this one is used to build high tech weapons for Naval Warfare, my guess these guys are trying to get their hands on one of them." Tony said.

"We can't let that happen." Rhodey said.

"We won't... Avengers, suit up!" Tony said.

"You're not exactly Cap, Tony." Rhodey said.

Tony sighs. "Seriously Rhodey, stop killing my buzz."

"Don't feel bad, I say it a lot too." Peter said.

"Right, anyway, suit up!" Tony said.

Every Avengers heads towards their rooms and started suiting up, Clint Barton puts on his Hawkeye suit and straps on his quiver loaded with arrows, he picks up his bow and walks out. Peter quickly cleaned himself and puts on his advanced suit and straps on his web-shooters to his wrists, loading up web cartridges into his belt, he came out of the room and walking beside his teammates, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Vision, War Machine, and Iron Man all heading toward the landing pad where the quinjet is waiting, all six Avengers boarded as Hawkeye takes the cockpit controls, he fires up thrusters and it lifts off, the quinjet left the compound and heading north to Seattle for battle.

It's 5:15 PM in Seattle, Washington, at the Stark R & D facility about six of the Zodiac are holding back Seattle PD, Sagittarius is armed with a hi tech bow firing off energized arrows as he took down SWAT officers with perfect precision, Virgo is taking flight and fires plasma beams and blasted some cars, Aquarius helps out and lifted his hands and fires out his hands generating subzero energy creating a cold beam freezing some cops, Aries came up wielding a high tech hammer as he swings at the SWAT car, it's powerful enough to knock it out of the air and totally wreck it's armor, Pisces is wielding a high tech trident firing off energy as it's destroying squad cars, Capricorn swings around his weaponized chains giving off energy as he slice off any cops in the vicinity.

Inside the R & D facility are the other six Zodiac members as Taurus is leading his team, he's being shot at as his armor is protecting him from gunfire, he charged in a tackle one of the security guard and knocked him dead, Scorpio came in and pulls out stingers and killed a couple of them, Leo came in wielding a energized sword and slice through several of them, Cancer armed with energized claws as he clamps two of them in half, Gemini is a skilled combatant as he's equipped with specialized gloves that emits energy powerful enough to kill a person a single punch, Libra tossed in his energized shield as it's slicing off several guards and killing them instantly, the shield returns back to Libra as Zodiac is done taking down security.

They approached a vault where the most dangerous weapons created by Stark Industries is being stored, Taurus tells Leo to step up as he uses his sword cut open the vault door, he finished creating an opening as Taurus steps inside along with his team as they look around to find the particular weapon they need to pull of their mission, they kept searching until they stumbled upon a massive sonic-repulsor beam cannon.

Taurus chuckles. "There it is."

"Amazing." Leo said.

"She's beautiful." Gemini said.

"With this, we can cause massive damage." Scorpio said.

"Take the weapon. Let's load it into a truck and get out of here!" Taurus said.

The members of Zodiac are getting started on taking possession of the weapon, sometime later they loaded it onto the back of a trailer, afterward all ten of them hopped into the back and closed the door shut, Scorpio and Gemini hopped into the cab and drives the truck away from the facility with the weapon in their possession, the truck is now enter a freeway and driving onto the 99 highway heading south.

The quinjet is flying at high speed just about to enter into Seattle, all the Avengers are inside heading towards the R & D facility until F.R.I.D.A.Y. got an update on the mission.

"Boss! We have a problem?" F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Shoot F.R.I.D.A.Y." Iron Man said.

"The Intruders has already left the facility in a stolen truck, they have the sonic-repulsor cannon in their possession." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Oh no!" Iron Man said.

"What? What's the sonic-repulsor cannon?" Spider-Man said.

"It's a prototype weapon designed for naval warfare, it's more powerful than my repulsors, powerful enough to destroy submarines or navy ships in a single blast... this is much worst. F.R.I.D.A.Y., can you track it?" Iron Man said.

"Already in progress... scanning..." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Lucky for my company, we always LoJack our technology in case they get stolen." Iron Man said.

"Pretty clever." Spider-Man said.

"Got it, they're heading down south on the 99 highway." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Looks like they're escaping the city. Avengers, this is what we're gonna do, we have to stop that truck from leaving that city, if they get away with that weapons, the destruction it's capable of, a lot of lives could be at stake. But we have to be delicate, if that weapon get hits or damaged, it could overload and exploded, destroying or killing anyone in a five mile radius. It's imperative that we do not cause damage to that truck, we need to strike with perfect precision." Iron Man explains.

"Like a scalpel." Spider-Man said.

"Exactly." Iron Man said.

Hawkeye still piloting. "I got an eye on that truck, I'll fly us in over"

"Okay, Hawkeye and Scarlet Witch will remain on the quinjet, me, War Machine, and Vision will take to the air, Spider-Man, you're gonna swing onto that 18 wheeler, take out any bad guys inside and secure that weapon." Iron Man said.

"Got it." Spider-Man said.

Iron Man hits the switch and lowers the ramp, all four are standing onto the ramp about to jump out.

"Avengers, fall out!" Iron Man said.

Iron Man, War Machine, Vision, and Spider-Man jumped out of the quinjet and falling down closer towards the truck, Iron Man and War Machine fires up their repulsor thrusters as Spider-Man clings a web line to Iron Man, all four of them are flying in closer to the truck. Inside the cab, Scorpio is still driving with Gemini riding shotgun until he spotted something in the side-view mirror flying their way.

Scorpio taps the earpiece. "Listen up, we got company, Avengers."

Inside the trailer the other Zodiac members all got the message as they're preparing themselves for battle upon being alert on the Avengers presence. Outside high up are Iron Man pulling in Spider-Man with War Machine and Vision flying behind, they spotted some activity as the trailer is opening up, Sagittarius is aiming his bow and Virgo are both firing as all the heroes are taking evasive action..

"Looks like they know we're coming!" Spider-Man being pulling.

"So it would seem. I'll fly you in closer." Iron Man said.

Iron Man flies closer to the trailer with Spider-Man in tow, but jumping out is Virgo taking flight towards the flying Avengers, she engaged them in aerial combat, Vision and War Machine are keeping her occupied while Iron Man flies towards the trailer at high speed avoid the energy arrows from Sagittarius.

"Okay kid, I'm gonna toss you in fast, are you ready?!" Iron Man said.

"Ready!" Spider-Man still hanging on.

Iron Man flies in fast as he continues avoiding Sagittarius's arrows but some cars are being hit by those same arrows and killing off some civilians in the vicinity as Spider-Man is very concerned for innocent lives.

"TONY!" Spider-Man yells.

"NOW!" Iron Man yells.

Iron Man got close enough and slingshot Spider-Man towards the trailer, the hero came in fast for a drop kick to Sagittarius, knocking him down as he then spots eight more villains here in strange suits.

"Spider-Man, bit far from home, aren't you?" Taurus speaking with a Russian accent.

"From those accents, I'm guessing you're not really from around here. Listen, I don't know who you guys are, but you're done hurting people." Spider-Man said.

"Hurting people? Isn't that what you and your country of Imperialists have been doing to the rest of the world, what hypocricy you all have." Taurus said.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but this ends now." Spider-Man said.

"No, this is only the beginning and you won't stop us from completing our mission. GET HIM!" Taurus said.

Spider-Man took a good look at them, he notice their costumes all have the same logo of a star with some kind of Russian letter on it. Leo is pulling out his sword and Cancer with his claws, both are coming towards Spider-Man as the hero ran up and slides down avoiding their attacks as Aquarius fires off a cold beam as Spidey jumps and webs him down, Spidey is clinging to the right side of the trailer as Aries swings his hammer hard, the hero jumped away as the impact causes the truck to til a bit but it still maintains it's wheels as Scorpio and Gemini are doing their best keeping the truck on the road.

Scorpio taps his earpiece. "Hey, watch what you're doing! One wrong move and this whole truck will go down!"

Meanwhile up in the air Virgo is still flying taking on the three Avengers in the air, she kept on firing some plasma blasts at the heroes as they're dodging her attacks, but some of her plasma blast are raining down upon the neighborhood as people down below are frighten for their lives running away, Iron Man took noticed.

"Vision, War Machine, we have to put an end to this! Too many people can get caught in the crossfire!" Iron Man said.

"On it!" War Machine said.

War Machine fires off some rockets as Virgo is flying away and firing off plasma to destroy them, causing a blast in the air, coming through the blast is Vision as she strike with an uppercut to her face, knocking her back, Iron Man is behind her and fires off his repulsors, destroying her flight pack, she falls down as Vision captured her. One Zodiac member is down, back inside the trailer Spider-Man is still fighting the rest of the Zodiac alone, Taurus got tired out as he moves in and got a hold of Spider-Man from jumping around, Taurus tossed him outside of the trailer as the hero slides onto the highway he quickly fires a line to the trailer and another one to the highway sign, he steers himself to the left around the care, then he swings back towards the trailer till he made it on top, Zodiac heard his steps on the top.

"Blast him!" Taurus yells.

Sagittarius and Pisces both aimed their bow and trident to the top, Spider-Man's sense tingles as energy arrows and beams are being shot out of the trailer, he quickly runs up to the cab as Sagittarius and Pisces continues their assault, Spidey dodges them all until he jumps out and reached the cab, he slings himself through the driver side door window and kicked Scorpio aside from the driver seat and Spidey took a seat and took control of the truck, Gemini attempts to take control from Spider-Man as he spotted him coming, Spidey steers the wheel to the left and then to the right trying to shake off Gemini along with the rest of Zodiac in the back of the trailer, Spidey then hits the brakes and the entire truck stopped as this has Taurus concerned.

Taurus taps his earpiece. "Scorpio, what is going on out there?! SCORPIO?!"

"Scorpio is out, it's Spider-Man, he's taken the wheel." Gemini said.

"Do something!" Taurus orders.

"I'm trying!" Gemini said.

"Taurus, look!" Leo points out.

Iron Man, War Machine, and Vision are closing in from a distance catching up.

"AH! Enough of this! Gemini, are we close to any tall building?!" Taurus said.

"Yes, in fact I have one in perfect view." Gemini said.

Gemini is still inside the cab viewing the Space Needle in plain sight, Taurus is force to switch tactics as he orders Leo, Pisces, Cancers are cutting open the right side of the trailer as Taurus is powering up the weapon inside, the three Zodiacs push the trailer hull aside as Taurus takes control of the sonic-repulsor cannon and steer it towards the Space Needle in plain sights. Iron Man, War Machine, and Vision are still speeding up as the weapon is charging up.

"Boss, the weapon is operational and charging to full power!" F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Crap, what's the trajectory?" Iron Man said.

"Scanning... it's targeting the Space Needle, there a number of people inside." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

Iron Man is terrified his own technology is about to be used to destroy lives once more, he fires his trusters at full power speeding up towards the Space Needle.

"Activate shields!" Iron Man said.

Iron Man is flying and summoned a shield sphere around his armor as he's in view of the sonic-repulsor cannon as it's fully charged, Taurus spotted Iron Man in view as he chuckles and fires the cannon, it unleashed a beam of sonic and repulsor energy at the Space Needle as Iron Man is in front and takes the hit, he's using his shield to hold back the beam as much as he can but it's still too powerful for his shields to handle as it's starting to break and pushed Iron Man back and partially hits the Space Needle hard as everyone inside it felt the vibration, War Machine and Vision are stunned upon finding the damage it took as Iron Man is falling down and his armor is all damaged.

"NO!" War Machine yells

War Machine flies at high speed and caught his friend before he hits the ground and landed him to safety, but his biggest concern is the noise the Space Needle is giving off, it's structure is damaged and barely hanging on. Spider-Man saw the hit the Space Needle took as he got distracted, Gemini took the opportunity to use his powered gloves to punch Spider-Man off the truck as he's hurt and Gemini took the wheel.

"You have two choices, stop us or save those foolish people!" Gemini gave him an ultimatum.

Spider-Man wants to stop these terrorists from getting away with the weapon, but the Space Needle is barely holding itself together about to tumble down any second along with all those innocent lives at the top, Gemini started driving the truck again away towards the tunnel, Spider-Man swings towards the Space Needle, the quinjet is heading that way too along with Vision, Spider-Man made it to the scene where Iron Man is down unconscious but still alive with War Machine by his side all worried for his best friend, Spider-Man is worried too.

"How is he?" Spider-Man said.

"He's still alive, but his condition is serious. What about those terrorists?" War Machine said.

"They're getting away, I had to come here, because of that!" Spider-Man looking up.

All of a sudden the Space Needle is losing it's balance and started tilting down as this caught Spider-Man's concern, all the lives inside are screaming for their lives as it could go down any second, but War Machine is angry that his best friend almost got killed by terrorists.

"Those bastards... I'm going after them." War Machine about to take flight.

"War Machine, don't!" Spider-Man said.

"I can't let them get away with this!" War Machine is too worked up.

"War Machine, please get a hold of yourself! Listen, I want to get these guys too, but we have to help these people... Please!" Spider-Man trying to reason.

War Machine sighs calmly. "Okay... you're right."

Spider-Man and War Machine heard the noise again as it's starting to tilt over along with all the people at the top.

"War Machine, take flight!" Spider-Man gave the orders.

"On it!" War Machine flies up.

"Everyone clear the area!" Spider-Man telling the people on the ground to run.

The people in the vicinity are evacuating the area as the Space Needle is tilting over as War Machine reached under the observation deck and holds it up to slow down the tilting, but it's not enough.

Spider-Man taps the earpiece. "Scarlet Witch, do you think you can hold it in place? Buy some time!"

The quinjet is hovering close to the Space Needle as Hawkeye slowly turns it around as Scarlet Witch is walking by a captured Virgo tied up, she opens up the ramp with a view of the Space Needle and War Machine down below holding up the observation deck as long as he could, she then concentrates her powers on the entire Space Needle, holding it in place as Spider-Man is looking up to see the tilting has stopped.

"Wanda, it's working!" Spider-Man using his earpiece.

Scarlet Witch is struggling on the quinjet. "I don't know how long I can kept this up!"

Spider-Man sighs as he tries to figure something else, Scarlet Witch won't be able to hold onto the Space Needle for very long, he then spotted a construction site not to far from here and got some ideas.

"I got it! War Machine, head for that construction site and grab some beams!" Spider-Man said.

"What?" War Machine said.

"Just trust me!" Spider-Man said.

War Machine complies and flies away from the Space Needle while Scarlet Witch is doing her best to hold it up, War Machine flew by the construction site and picked up a couple of beam, he flies back to the Space Needle.

"Spider-Man, I got them, now what?" War Machine flying.

Spider-Man looks up. "Okay, place them where the structure is damage."

War Machine spotted the damage structure that is causing the tilting, he flies in closer and place the beams onto them.

"Good... Vision, superheat the beams, meld them with the structure." Spider-Man said.

War Machine still holds the beams in place as Vision flies in closer and has them in his sights, he forces his solar gem and fires a concentrated beam at the beams, superheating them as they're heating up beams, they're starting to meld together with the Space Needle structure.

"Okay, that should do it! Pull back!" Spider-Man said.

War Machine and Vision pulled themselves back as they look upon the hot beam melding with the Space Needle. Everyone waited as it's cools down and hardens, eventually it did and became harden with the Space Needle.

"Okay Scarlet Witch, you can stop now." Spider-Man on the ladder.

Scarlet Witch stop using her powers on the Space Needle, the entire red aura disappears and the Space Needle is standing perfectly still on it's own, the Avengers are relieved they were able to save many lives, but at the cost of letting the terrorists get away with the super-weapon. Sometime later Seattle PD and the Fire Department are helping the people out of the Space Needles and escorting them to safety, with news choppers in the air, the quinjet is parked nearby as Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye walks up towards War Machine, Vision, and Spider-Man all worried for Iron Man's life as he's in very bad shape.

"How is he?" Hawkeye said.

"Not good, we gotta get him back to the compound ASAP!" Spider-Man said.

War Machine sighs. "Yeah... let's go."

Later the quinjet is taking off from the ground and flies away leaving Seattle, heading back to the compound as Tony is in bad shape and needs medical attention, they're also taking back a captured terrorist, Spider-Man noticed the logo on her uniform, he pulls out a phone and took a photo of it, he wants to get some answers and figure who they're dealing with.

Around 6:32 PM somewhere down South of Washington, the stolen truck made a complete stop in an abandoned building to hide from eyes everywhere, inside eleven members of Zodiac are climbing out to looking at the wrecked trailer carrying the super-weapon they just got away with.

Taurus sighs. "What's our status?"

"We're all accounted for, except for Virgo, they got her." Aries said.

"Unfortunate, but we can't let that stop us from completing our mission, not when we are so close, her sacrifice will be well worth it. Did you exam the weapon?" Taurus said.

"We did and you were right, they were tracking us, but not to worry, we destroyed the tracker, they can't track us anymore." Leo said.

"Good, we still need to get to California in time for the big mission. Scorpio, Gemini, go and secure us some new transportation, and keep a low profile." Taurus said.

"Yes Taurus. Let's go." Gemini said.

Gemini and Scorpio are leaving the warehouse to secure some transportation. Whatever Zodiac has planned, they're not done yet, this is only the beginning.

It's 7:02 PM back at the Avengers Compound near San Francisco, inside the medical bay are Peter, Rhodey, Clint, Wanda, and Vision looking upon Tony resting inside a pod undergoing recovery from his injuries as his vital signs are normal, they were able to bring him back in time, the TV here is still on playing breaking news footages of the incident in Seattle involving a battle between the Avengers and a group of terrorists.

"Approximately 5:39 PM a group of terrorists were escaping Seattle in a truck being chased down by the Avengers, in the pursuit the terrorist unleashed a deadly super weapon and nearby decimated the Space Needle, fortunately the Avengers were able to save the lives inside the observation deck and kept the Space Needle from pummeling down. Damage Control has just arrived and are in the process of repairing all the damage Seattle has inflicted. Unfortunately this resulted in the terrorists escaping and the casualties they inflicted earlier was high, they're on the loose and the question remains, is our country safe?"

"Please tell me we can still track them?" Clint said.

Rhodey sighs. "No, they must've found the tracker and disabled it, now we have no way of finding these guys. State Patrol spotted the truck in an abandoned building, no sign of the weapon, but there's a truck stop about a couple miles from their last location."

"Which means they could've hijacked another truck." Clint said.

"They could be anywhere by now." Rhodey said.

"I'm sorry Rhodey, I know you want to catch these guys, but with all those lives and Tony..." Peter said.

"I know, you made the right call, saving all those lives, it was the right thing to do... which is why you should lead this team." Rhodey said.

"Me? But aren't you this team's second-in-command?" Peter said.

"I am, but right now I'm too emotional, my best friend almost got killed and my judgment's clouded, I can't make the right choices the way I am. But you, you have a cool head to make the right decisions, besides you have experience leading a team, we're gonna need that right now more than ever." Rhodey said.

Peter looks at Rhodey, Clint, Wanda, and Vision all looking at him as they're turning to him for leadership in Tony's absence, he'll need to step up for the team.

Peter sighs. "Okay, let's get starting on figuring out who we're dealing with. Did the woman we captured tells us anything?"

"No, she's still out cold, but she had this." Clint said.

Clint hands Peter a foreign passport, he opens up to see photo of the woman they've captured, she's using an alias "Elaine McLaughlin."

"Elaine McLaughlin, huh? She doesn't look like a Elaine to me, from the way she and the others were talking, their accents are definitely Russian. Oh, which reminds me, I got something to show." Peter said.

Peter pulls out his phone and shows the team the photo he took of the woman earlier in Seattle, he zooms in on the emblem on her suit.

"See this?" Peter said.

"Yeah, what does it mean?" Rhodey said.

"Not sure, but those other guys I've face had the same emblem on their suits, the letter on the star, definitely Russian." Peter said.

"Lucky for us, we happened to know someone in the Avengers who knows that world more than any of us. So what do you say, care to call our friend?" Clint said.

"Sure, let's go call Nat." Peter said.

Peter along with the team are exiting the medical bay heading towards the mission room. Later they're all together as Clint is using the terminal to contact Natasha Romanoff who is away on a op for S.H.I.E.L.D., the holoscreen shows up as they're patched through to Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow live from her safehouse in Budapest, Hungary.

"Peter, Clint, what a surprise." Natasha smile.

"Hey Nat, sorry to call you in the middle of your undercover op. How's Budapest treating you?" Peter said.

"Still the same as I remember, the steam baths are wonderful, you should drop by sometime, might make an ideal place for a honeymoon." Natasha smile.

"Sounds great, me and Gwen will think about it." Peter smile.

"I take it you both didn't call cause you missed me." Natasha said.

"Of course we miss you, and cause we need your help. We've came across a group of terrorist, most likely Russians, they've already made an attack in Seattle, they've injured Tony." Peter explains.

"I heard, it's all over the news, even here." Natasha said.

"You've been an agent in the Red Room for years, you must know a lot of bad players in the Russian world." Clint said.

"I'm as far out of the loop with Russia's affairs since my defection, but I'll share whatever info I can, got any leads?" Natasha said.

"Yeah, we came across an emblem on all their suits, I'm sending a picture over to your now." Peter said.

Peter uploads the picture from his phone to the holoscreen and transmit it's over to Natasha, she got a good look at the picture to see the emblem, a star with a Russian letter in the middle as this caught her attention.

"Oh no... are you sure this is the symbol you saw?" Natasha said.

"Positive, you know it?" Peter said.

Natasha sighs. "I do... it belongs to a Russian terrorist group called Leviathan,, they're well-organized ultranationalists operating in the shadows, formed by Soviet separatists broke away from Russian society sometime after the U.S.S.R. was disbanded, they refusing to adopt western influence and still cling to the old ways, these guys are the real deal, the worst of the worst, they've been plotting threats against the US and attacking NATO countries for the past 34 years, for instance, couple years ago they attacked a refugee ship in the Black Sea, massacring the whole crew and refugees, that was Leviathan, last year they even bombed the Ramstein Air Base in Germany, their goal is cause chaos, trying to provoke a war with the west."

"My god..." Peter is stunned.

"And these guys have been allow to function all these years?" Clint said.

"Even the Russian government don't like these guys very much either, in the past Leviathan tired to overthrow them in a coup, but failed. They still remain hidden in the shadows, only growing stronger with each year. Their goal is to take back their country and along with the old Soviet Republics, cleanse them of all Western influence and creating a pure society, all under their control, forming their own U.S.S.R." Natasha said.

Rhodey sighs. "Great, just what the world needs."

"And now they're here on American soil, they have a powerful weapon in their possession and they're more than happy to use it." Peter said.

"Too bad their attack on the Space Needle was a complete failure." Clint said.

"That was just a prelude, showing what they're capable of, if I know Leviathan, they're just getting started, this isn't over yet." Natasha said.

"We've came across a twelve man team, all dressed in suit armed with very hi tech weapons, they managed to hold us Avengers off, we've already captured on of them." Peter explained.

"From what you're describing, it sounds like the work of Zodiac, their most deadly advanced strike team, all their operatives are given codenames based on the Zodiac signs, Leviathan would send them for their most extreme missions, they're all zealots, they strike through with guerrilla tactics, willing to see their mission through to the end no matter what, they're well trained in military tactics and espionage, they can blend in with their enemies in other countries speaking the same languages, these guys are good at staying under the radar, you won't find them until they make their move." Natasha said.

"And by then it could be too late. How much intel does S.H.I.E.L.D. have on this Leviathan?" Peter said.

"Not much, since Leviathan primarily operates out of Russia, which is outside of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s jurisdiction, we have no current intel on Leviathan's activities. However, there is only one intelligence apparatus that kept tabs on Leviathan, the F.S.B." Natasha said.

Clint scoff. "Good luck with that, there's no way a Russian intelligence agency is gonna share intel with an American superhero team."

"Don't sell me out Clint, I still got contacts within the F.S.B., people I use to work with." Natasha said.

"Wait, you were F.S.B.?" Peter is surprised.

"I did my time with them as part of my cover with the Red Room, got to meet some good agents. I don't know if they'll take my call, I can't promise anything, but I'll see what I can do, the minute I get some new intel on Leviathan, I'll call you." Natasha said.

"Okay, thank you Nat." Peter said.

"Good luck to you all, you'll need it." Natasha then ends transmission.

"Okay, while we wait, what do we do?" Clint said.

"Let's go talk with our new guest, see what she has to say." Peter said.

Sometime later inside an interrogation room cell as Virgo has her hands tied to a chair, coming in are the Avengers with Spider-Man having his mask on, all of them aren't too happy with her, she looks at her enemies with a smile, remaining calm despite being captured by the enemy, not an ounce of fear.

Virgo chuckles. "Well, well, Earth's Mightiest Heroes, I wish I could say it's was an honor, but I'd be lying."

Spider-Man holding up a passport. "Elaine McLaughlin, so that's what you're calling yourself now, thought I'm guessing that's not your real name."

"How observant, I guess you're not as stupid as you look from what I hear." Virgo insults.

"How'd you get into this country? Better yet, how'd you get intel on the weapon? No way you could've done this from Russia, clearly someone is helping you. Who?" Spider-Man said.

"Someone we did business with, who supplied our organization with weapons, someone who doesn't mind betraying his own country, someone who seems to harbor a serious grudge against you in particular, Spider-Man." Virgo said.

Spider-Man is stunned upon hearing these words, he suspects its the very same man he's been searching for.

"I see you know who I'm talking about." Virgo said.

"Who is he? I want a name!" Spider-Man said.

"Don't bother threatening, even I don't know who he is, and honestly I don't care, he just a means to end. Though I shouldn't be surprise, you Americans will betray one another." Virgo said.

"That's funny, from what I heard about your organization, Leviathan, doesn't seem like your country likes you guys very much either. Can't imagine why, you and your friends have been very busy, breaking into a secure facility, killing off any who stood in your way, you stole a powerful weapon and you tried to kill many more lives." Spider-Man said.

"One of those live you tried to kill, he's my friend." Rhodey is upset.

"Well, well... isn't that very sad." Virgo mocks.

Rhodey got upset as he moves in but Clint and Vision hold him back from doing something, Virgo smile sinisterly as she taunt him.

"Where are you other friends?" Spider-Man said.

"I don't know, they could be anywhere, even if I did know, I would never betray my comrades." Virgo said.

"I don't think you under the gravity the situation, your friends have a very dangerous weapon in their hands, a lot of innocent lives are at risk!" Spider-Man yells.

"YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE I CARE WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR COUNTRY?! AFTER WHAT YOUR COUNTRY HAS DONE TO MINE! The U.S.S.R. was once mighty, powerful, strong, that is until your country ripped it apart with this infection you call democracy and you're still doing it to the rest of the world, and for what? All in the name of your so called freedom!" Virgo protests in anger.

"Freedom is everyone's right!" Spider-Man protests.

"How's that been working out? Look at the world we're living in right now, what happened in the past three years, gods coming down trying to conquer this planet, machines overthrowing humanity, and last year the world almost got burned down, all of this is your country's doing, or should I say your doing, you and your so called heroes are the cause of all this chaos!" Virgo said.

"So you're just going to kill more innocent people to make a point!" Spider-Man said.

"When it comes to war, no one is innocent!" Virgo said.

"This isn't a war!" Spider-Man protests.

Virgo laughs sinisterly as this made the Avengers too concerned.

"It soon will be, you just wait." Virgo smile.

"That's your endgame, isn't it? You want to start a war!" Spider-Man said.

"And we will win that war!" Virgo smile.

Spider-Man remains calm. "What are you planning? How are you going to start this war?"

"I'll never tell, but don't worry, you'll find out soon, all of America will. All you have to do is wait for the inevitable, because it's coming." Virgo said.

"You don't want to tell us, fine." Spider-Man turns to Scarlet Witch. "Go ahead."

Scarlet Witch walks up in front of Virgo about to uses her powers on her mind.

"What are you doing?" Virgo is shaking.

"Just relax, she's going to dig through your mind to get the information." Spider-Man said.

"I should warn you, this will hurt, a lot." Scarlet Witch with her hands glowing red.

Virgo is about to have her mind probe as she's desperate to keep the information from falling into enemy hand, she resorted to speaking a code in Russian quickly, all of a sudden her brain experience a short burst of an explosive pulse which killed her instantly as this caught the Avengers by surprised, they look upon Virgo not being responsive, blood leaking from her eyes, nose, mouth and ears.

"What... just happened?" Clint said.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., scan!" Spider-Man said.

"Scanning... she's showing signs of life, she's now deceased." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"How?" Spider-Man said.

"I detected an implant in her brain that's been activated very recently." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"Those words she said, she must've use the code that triggered her implant, killing her instantly." Rhodey said.

"Nat wasn't kidding about Zodiac, these guys are zealots, willing to die for their cause. She was willing to die and take those secrets with her." Clint said.

"But there's still eleven of them out there, they're somewhere in US with a powerful weapon in their possession, all we know is they're planning to use for something big." Spider-Man said.

"Big enough to start their war, we still don't know what their target it." Rhodey said.

"But we do know it's gonna happen very soon. Let's go through S.H.I.E.L.D. files on past Leviathan activities, we need to know more about this organization, might give us an insight on how they operate and what they'll do next." Spider-Man said.

"That's all we can do for now... let's go." Rhodey said.

The Avengers left the room as they're about to learn more on Leviathan, they know this isn't over, this is only the beginning and they're running out of time.

Time is 9:46 PM somewhere in Northern California as a truck pulling a semi trailer is making a stop at an empty lot as two men from the cab are coming out wearing regular clothes, they're walking towards the back of the trailer, they roll up the back door as 9 other Zodiacs are climbing out as they've made it down south with the sonic-repulsor weapon still in their possession.

"We're here, welcome to California." Scorpio in normal clothing.

"Good... but we lost a comrade, the implant inside Virgo died out, she's dead." Taurus said.

All eleven members of Zodiac are mourning for their loss of Virgo.

"It was the Avengers, wasn't it? Those bastards... they need to pay." Leo is angry.

"And they will pay, they'll all pay, we'll see to it, we're so close, we're going to honor her sacrifice, we're going to see this mission to the very end... for Virgo!" Taurus said

"FOR VIRGO!"

"Let's rest up and take the time to mourn for our comrade's sacrifice, then we keep on moving, we need to be in San Francisco before morning, soon the whole West will know about us, once we get our war, all of Mother Russia will follow us, follow Leviathan." Taurus said.

Zodiac are all pleased they're so close to their goal, to start their war and unite their country under their banner, this'll spell out trouble for the whole world.

Later it's around 11:34 PM at the Avengers Compound on Hawk Hill, all the Avengers are still awake working overtime trying to find Zodiac, Clint is looking at the holoscreen showing past terrorist events all tied back to Leviathan, particularly the bombing at the Air Force Base in Germany, Peter came by with mugs of coffee, he hands on to Clint who is barely keeping himself awake after staying up for hours, he took it as he needs the caffeine.

"Thanks." Clint took a drink of coffee.

"Sure, so this is the work of Leviathan?" Peter said.

"Yeah, Nat wasn't kidding about this organization, they're the definitely the worst of the worst, they set up explosives in ever part of the base, destroying a number of jets and planes, killing off many pilots and servicemen, these guys are ruthless as they come." Clint said.

"Anything in their file that could indicate how they pick their targets?" Peter said.

"Yeah, we've been studying everything from top to bottom, seems like Leviathan would target US and NATO bases in Europe, every time they do they claim to have done it in Russia's name, Russia denies these allegation Leviathan has done, and as a result Leviathan caused diplomatic problems between the two nations." Rhodey said.

"In other words, they're just setting off sparks hoping to start a fire." Clint said.

"With the way things are right now, it's already a fire, Leviathan is just adding more fuel to the flames." Rhodey said.

"And now they're about to add even more fuel, we know they target military bases, we just gotta figure which one." Peter said.

"Easier said than done, there's a lot of military bases in the West Coast alone, any one of them could be a potential target." Rhodey said.

"Which means we're still no closer to finding Zodiac. Did we get anything from our deceased terrorist fake alias?" Peter said.

"As a matter in face, we did." Rhodey said.

The holoscreen shows a picture of "Elaine McLaughlin" along with eleven other men along with this photo ID using fake aliases.

"All twelve arrived in Vancouver, Canada on the same flight, about an hour later they crossed the US-Canadian Boarder. We've already sent their photos to all local law agencies in every state along with their aliases, if they pop up, F.R.I.D.A.Y will let us know." Rhodey said.

"Let just wait to hear back from Nat, if I know her, she'll come through like always." Clint said.

Peter sighs. "You're right, all we can do is wait."

"While we're waiting, what was she talking about?" Clint said.

"Who?" Peter said.

"Our dead terrorist mentioned someone, someone you seem to know? Who was she talking about?" Clint said.

Peter sighs. "I suspect its the very same person I've been searching for, about five months ago Zola told me that someone has been supplying weapons to criminals and terrorists like HYDRA, and obviously Leviathan."

"And this guy is helping them start a war on American soil, for what purpose?" Rhodey said.

"From what I know about this guy, he doesn't follow any ideology, his own goal is making profits, my guess he's selling secrets and wants a war to happen to make even more profits." Peter said.

"So let me get this straights, this guy is willing to betray his own country, selling weapons and secrets to terrorists, helping start a global war, all in the name of making money?" Clint said.

"Without even blinking." Peter said.

"Huh... and what's your history with this guy?" Clint said.

"He killed my parents." Peter said.

Clint looks surprised. "Say again?"

"He ordered the deaths of my parents." Peter said.

"So this is very personal for you." Clint said.

"Yes, but right now I just about finding these guys and putting a stop to their plan before it's too. I'll worry about this guy another time, I just care about saving lives." Peter said.

Peter yawns out as he's working too hard trying to find Zodiac as his teammates noticed it.

"Listen, why don't you get some rest?" Clint said.

"I'm okay, I'll rest after we find these guys." Peter is tired out, rubbing his eyes.

"Peter, there's nothing we can do, besides you're acting leader of this team, we need your head fully focused, which means you need to rest your mind. We'll stay up and follow up any leads, we'll let you know if there's any updates." Rhodey said.

Peter sighs. "Okay, let me know if we get anything... I'll go crash for the night... goodnight!"

"Goodnight!" Rhodey and Clint said in unison.

Peter waves to his teammates as he's heading out of the mission room, heading down the hallway where a number of rooms are, inside one of the rooms is Wanda Maximoff wearing nothing but a red bra and panties as she's standing in front of the mirror brushing her hair about to get some sleep, Peter is walking down the hall as he noticed an opened door to see Wanda wearing her bra and panties in the middle of brush until she looks at the mirror to see Peter standing outside her door, she turns around staring at him, Peter looked away out of respect.

"Sorry... goodnight." Peter says as he walks away.

"Goodnight." Wanda said quietly.

Wanda went back to brushing her hair in peace as she looks upon herself, her own body is quite attractive as she's still thinking about Peter, upon remembering seeing him earlier at the pool, she still holds an attraction to him like she had last year when she first met him.

It's May 13th, time is 4:33 AM in the San Francisco Bay, on Alcatraz Island, site of the once most secured maximum security prison, now abandoned and turned into a tourist attraction, a number of guards are on night watch keeping an eye on the place, as they look up at the Coast Guard helicopter coming in for a landing as a couple of guards are coming to the helipad to welcome their unannounced guest, the helicopter touched down on the pad, six men are coming out wearing uniforms as the guards assumed they're Coast Guard.

"Hey... no one told us the Coast Guard was coming in this late."

"Cause they didn't."

One of the men pulls out a gun with a silencer and kills the guard in cold blood, the other guards got spooked as more men pulls out their guns with silencers and kill them all without any inside hearing a shot, these men aren't the Coast Guard, they then proceeded into the prison itself. Inside Alcatraz Prison, a number of guards are patrolling the cellblocks as none of them are concerned since there's no inmates to look out for and there is no danger, but they were mistaken as dangerous men came inside and started shooting and killing off the guards one by one, til they made it to the former warden's office where the head guard in charge and his two fellow guards were all caught by surprise by men dressed in uniform killing them all, after every staff on the island is dead, the lead man pulls out a radio, this guy is Taurus in disguise.

Taurus holds up the radio and started speaking in Russian. "Island is secure, you're all clear."

Out in the bay is a boat coming up to the island, the boat is being driven by Scorpio in the company of Aquarius, Pisces, Cancer, and Capricorn bringing in the sonic-repulsor cannon to the island. The boat finally arrived and make port on the island where Leo and Aries are waiting, they're helping their comrades move the weapon to the prison, inside the old warden office, is Taurus back in his costume as Sagittarius, Libra, and Gemini are setting up their base of operations here on the island. Minutes later after they're done bringing the weapon in and finished setting up here, all eleven of them are assembled together in the office.

"Is the dish set up?" Taurus said.

"It is, we're ready." Gemini said.

Taurus then turns on the holoscreen as they're receiving a live feed all the way from Russia, a man wearing some kind of gray armor in a red cape is visible, all eleven members of Zodiac all got on their knees before their leader codename Orion.

"Zodiac... I see you're one member short." Orion speaking in Russian.

"We've ran into a complication, the Avengers know of our presence, we've lost a comrade, but not to worry, we still have the weapon, we're on schedule." Taurus speaking in Russian.

"Excellent... just hours from now, the whole West shall witness our power, once they do they shall retaliate against our home country." Orion speaking Russian.

"Our country and our people shall follow us, Leviathan will grow stronger." Taurus speaking Russian.

"Very soon, our country will turn against the West and will shall take back what is rightfully ours... if the Avengers get in the way again... kill them all... Long Live Leviathan!" Orion speaking Russian..

"LONG LIVE LEVIATHAN!" Zodiac yells in Russian.

Orion switched off transmission as Zodiac are getting back to work, they're about to initiate their endgames in just seven hours, triggering their war.

It's now 9:58 AM at the Avengers Compound, Peter is still asleep in his room until he suddenly wakes up to see it's day time, he checks out the clock to see he overslept, he yawns and stretch out his arms, later he came out of his room all dressed walking down the hall as most of the rooms are locked, Clint, Rhodey, and Wanda are all still asleep in their rooms, Peter's feeling hungry but he's more worried for his friend Tony, he decided to make a stop at the medical bay before having breakfast. He opens up the door to find Tony Stark still resting inside his pod, still in recovery, but here as well is his teammate Vision still awake.

"Vision, didn't know you're still awake." Peter said.

"I'm an android, I never have a need to sleep nor eat. I stayed up while the others are still resting." Vision said.

"Right... how is he?" Peter asking bout Tony.

"Mr. Stark's recovery is improving, I estimate he'll be fully recovered by tomorrow." Vision said.

"That's good, I'm gonna go brew some coffee and cook something... I'll see you later." Peter says as he's about to leave.

"Actually, can I ask you something?" Vision said.

"Sure." Peter said.

"What does it mean to be human?" Vision said.

"Wow, I did not see this coming." Peter is surprise.

"I know that I'm all machine, I'm an android created through Wakandan engineering, made out of vibranium, with a conscious that is part J.A.R.V.I.S., and the other is part Ultron, but... in these past two years I've been on this Earth, I slowly learn about human culture, your holidays, your recreational activities, your emotions. Recently I began to feel things I never expect is possible and yet I still don't fully understand what it means to be human, so I thought it be best to ask a human." Vision said.

"I see... well... no human is the same, we're all unique in our own way, our likes, our dislikes, how we're born, but the only thing we all got in common, the one thing all humans have... is a soul." Peter said.

Vision is confused. "What is a soul?"

"It's something we all have inside us." Peter said.

"Is it like an organ?" Vision said.

"No, it's not something biological, it's... hard to explain, but we all have it within us, it make us... well, us." Peter tries to explain.

"I don't if I'll ever truly have what you have, me being all machine." Vision said.

"Hey... you might be a machine, but I believe there's something inside you that is human. You have a soul too, Vision, just keep on living and you're never alone, you have a family, they're the Avengers." Peter said.

Vision smile. "Thank you."

"Sure... I should go, feeling pretty hungry for a human. See ya later." Peter smile and waves as he leaves.

Vision stays behind as he has a lot to think about, still learning to be human, trying to discover what it means to have a soul.

About 30 minutes later in the kitchen Peter is making egg in a basket in a pan as he's just done and just picked it up with a spatula, placing it on the plate, he then pour in coffee from the French Press into the mug, he grabs the mug and picks up the plate and walks over to the table, he grabbed the toast and eating it as Wanda Maximoff came in to see Peter already up and having.

"Morning." Peter said.

"Morning, what's that?" Wanda said.

"Egg in the basket, I just made it, it's my fiancé's favorite breakfast, she taught me how to cook it. Want one?" Peter said.

"No thanks, I'm a vegan." Wanda said.

"Oh right, the egg... well, I just brewed up some coffee, help yourself." Peter said.

"Thanks." Wanda smile.

Wanda sits down as she uses her powers to levitate the French Press glowing red and poured in coffee into the mug, afterwards she levitate the mug towards her as Wanda holds up the mugs with a smile before taking a sip.

"Whoa, that's a neat trick." Peter is impressed as he then has more to say. "Listen, I'm sorry about last night, that was unexpected."

"Oh... don't worry about it, though you already seen most of me earlier yesterday." Wanda smile.

"Oh... sorry about that too." Peter said.

"It's okay, to be honest I did like what I saw yesterday... and..." Wanda said.

"And what?" Peter said.

"It took me back to last year, the first time we met, when you told me I was beautiful." Wanda said.

"Cause you are." Peter said.

"You're actually the first person who saw me as me, not just a girl with powers, but as a person, it's what drawn me to you, and it still does." Wanda said.

Peter realized that Wanda still has feelings for him as this still surprised him.

"Oh wow... I'm very flattered you still have a thing for me, I truly am, but..." Peter said.

Wanda smile. "I get it, you already have someone you love, someone you're about to marry... she's one lucky girl."

"Listen Wanda, you'll find someone who'll loves you for who you are, I know that someone is out there and you deserve to be happy." Peter being sincere.

"I already am happy, you changed my life, back then I was afraid of my gifts and I felt alone, but you showed me that I could use them to do good and I did, now here I am, part of Earth's Mightiest Heroes, it felt like I have a new family." Wanda is grateful.

"Cause we are, we're not just a team, we're a family too, and you're never alone." Peter said.

Wanda is grateful being an Avengers, they're like family to her, coming into the dining room are Clint, Rhodey, and Lucky the Pizza Dog all just woke up after a night of sleeping.

"Hey Kid, I see you made breakfast, I hope you made enough for us." Clint feeling hungry.

All of a sudden Clint's phone is notifying him that Natasha is contacting them.

"It's Nat, she's got something." Clint said.

"Okay, let's go." Peter is getting up.

The Avengers all left the dining room and heads towards the mission room where Vision is waiting, all five are together as Clint uses the holoscreen and puts up Natasha Romanoff live from Budapest, she's wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around her and her hair is a bit messy, she saw the West Coast Avengers are all in their sleep wear.

"Oh... morning." Natasha said.

"Morning Nat, or is it nighttime from where you are." Peter said.

"Oh, I... was in the middle of something." Natasha being a bit shy.

"Okay...we're you able to get something from your F.S.B. contacts?" Peter said.

"Actually, I did, the F.S.B. just intercepted chatter between Zodiac and the leader of Leviathan codename Orion, looks like they're about to imitate an imminent attack on America and from what they heard, it's happening very soon, just hours from where you are now." Natasha said.

"Oh no... did you contacts say what's Zodiac's target?" Peter said.

"No, but they were able to trace the transmission, it's in America's West Coast, somewhere in Northern California." Natasha said.

"Which means they're here, very close." Rhodey said.

"I'm sorry, I wish I had more to go on." Natasha said.

"Don't worry Nat, we'll figure it out, thank you for everything." Peter said.

"Good luck, I hope you all stop Zodiac before it's too." Natasha smile as she's looking at someone who's in Budapest with her.

"Thanks, good luck in Budapest... and tell Bucky I said hello!" Peter smile.

Natasha gives Peter the look upon realizing he knows something is going on where she's at, she sighs with a smile as she signs off after giving the intel they needed, they know that Zodiac is somewhere in Northern California and they're about to make their attack very soon.

"What was that all about? Bucky?" Rhodey is confused.

"Long story." Clint smile.

"Can we stay focus please?" Peter said.

"Right, we know they're here in California, sounds like whatever is happening, it's gonna be soon. Which means we on a tickling clock and still have no idea what their target is." Rhodey said.

"The question is, what could they be targeting that could spark up a war between superpowers?" Clint is curious.

The Avengers are brainstorming as Peter walks over to the window, he's still thinking what Zodiac has planned, he noticed the Golden Gate Bridge is packed with so many people coming out earlier for Fleet Week.

"Huh, there's a lot of people are on the bridge." Peter noticed.

"What? Oh, they must waiting to watch ships coming in for Fleet Week, they sure didn't want to miss it." Clint said.

Peter suddenly realized something from hearing this, he finally figured out what Zodiac's target is and it's very bad.

"Fleet week..." Peter turns to Rhodes. "Rhodey, did Tony say that the weapon is built to destroy ships?"

"Yeah, why?" Rhodey said.

"Of course, it's Fleet Week! It's the only biggest event happening in the West Coast and it's only within hours from now!" Peter figured it out.

"Oh my god, that's why Zodiac need that weapon, they're gonna use it to destroy those ships coming in for Fleet Week, there's a lot a servicemen and woman on board those ships, both Navy and Marine Corps." Rhodey said.

"Not to mention hundreds of innocent lives on the bridge itself, they could all ended up getting caught in the blast." Peter said.

"That's their endgame, they want to destroy those ships, crippling the our navy in the pacific, if they succeed and make our government believe Russia is behind this, they'll retaliated, it'll mean war between superpowers, a war where many lives in the world will be lost as a result." Rhodey said.

"We can't let that happen, we have to stop Zodiac by any means necessary before it's too late!" Peter said.

"Okay, we know now what their target is, question is where are they going to strike from?" Rhodey said.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y., can you scan the hills and the bridge for any unusual activities? Something out of the ordinary." Peter asking.

"Scanning... I'm not detecting anything on either of the hills or the bridge." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"They won't, it's too much exposure. Besides, the weapon they stole, needs to have perfect line of sight to be effective, so they'll have to target the ships from sea level." Rhodey said.

"So that means they could shoot the weapon from the water, like a boat." Clint said.

Peter looks far out at the bay to see a small island in the middle of the water, in perfect view of the bridge itself.

Peter suspects something. "Or an island... F.R.I.D.A.Y., scan that small island in the bay."

"Scanning... I'm detecting 11 heat signatures on Alcatraz Island, and massive amounts of power being generated as we speak." F.R.I.D.A.Y. said.

"That's them, they're right under our noses. They're on Alcatraz Island, it's out in the middle of the water, with a perfect view of the bridge, they picked a perfect stronghold where they can strike." Peter said.

"We're not gonna let that happen." Clint said.

"No we won't, cause we're gonna stop them, no matter what it takes." Peter said.

"What about all those people on the bridge? Shouldn't we evacuate?" Wanda said.

"It's too risky, Zodiac could still be watching everything, if they suspect something is wrong, they just might fire that weapon out of spite, and we all know they'll do it." Rhodey said.

"He's got a point, we can't risk it. Our only chance is stop Zodiac ourselves, we do that, we can put an end to all this, saving a lot of lives and preventing a war in the process... Alright Avengers, suit up!" Peter said.

Every Avenger went to suit up, Wanda is in her room putting on her costume along with her tiara, but she makes a call to someone for help, someone she trusts with her life, Clint is putting on his suit along with purple shade glasses, putting on the quiver loaded with trick arrows and grabbing his bow, Rhodey walks up to his War Machine Armor opening up as he hops inside and it's closes up, he's all armored up and loaded with so much ammo needed, all four Avengers are suited up and waiting as Peter Parker is coming out wearing a new Iron Spider Armor still all red and golden with new features over the original.

"Nice suit." Wanda smile.

"Thanks, it's an upgraded version, Iron Spider MK II." Peter smiles wearing the new Iron Spider Armor. "Alright Avengers, let's go make Tony proud."

He and the Avengers are walking outside, they're not going on the quinjet as their mission isn't too far from here, Hawkeye hops onto his sky-cycle with Scarlet Witch riding in the back, Peter is walking past War Machine and Vision waiting for him to take the lead, Peter puts on the mask and becomes Spider-Man.

"Avengers, let's head out!" Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man uses the Iron Spider Armor equipped with repulsor gloves and boots as he's taking flight and flies away from the compound along with War Machine and Vision, Hawkeye rode his sky-cycle out in the air with Scarlet Witch, all five are flying close to the Golden Gate Bridge where a lot of civilians are waiting to watch ships, they spotted the Avengers flying above the bridge, among the civilians is Eddie Brock wearing a cap as he spotted one of the Avengers as Spider-Man who didn't noticed him, Eddie is still hiding in plain sight and watches as the Avengers are all heading towards Alcatraz Island.

Time is 11:39 AM at Alcatraz Island, the sonic-repulsor weapon is on top of the prison all charged up and waiting to be use, all eleven members of Zodiac are here waiting for their opportunity to strike at those ships coming in for Fleet Week, willing to kill a lot of American all in the name of starting their own war, but Scorpio is watching through his binoculars as he spotted trouble coming their way.

"Taurus, we got company!" Scorpio warning his comrades.

Scorpio hands Taurus the binoculars, he looks through to see the West Coast Avengers coming their way fast, but before they could strike they were too late, the Avengers finally arrived here on Alcatraz Island hovering in the air as they spotted all elven of the Zodiac members all together on the roof with the sonic-repulsor weapon in plain view.

"You again!" Taurus isn't pleased.

"We meet again... Zodiac." Spider-Man said their name that caught their attention. "Yeah, that's right, we know who you all are and the organization you belong to, your terror schemes are coming to an end."

"Like hell, we've worked too hard and spill a lot of blood to get here, we're so close to our goal and you will never stop us from completing our mission!" Taurus said.

"You all have a lot to answer for, you stole a weapon, killed and terrorized so many innocent lives, nearly killed our friend, and now you're trying to murder many more all in the name of your misguided cause." Spider-Man said.

"You dare mock us! You would never understand! We're going to take back our home and all our people will follow us, sacrificing lives is a small price to pay to get what we want, starting with yours and all your kind! We're done talking, kill them all!" Taurus said.

Sagittarius and Pisces both strike first as the Avengers scatter away to avoid their assault as Taurus takes the controls while his comrades are keeping the Avengers occupied, he spotted a number of Navy ships coming in towards the Golden Gate Bridge, where a lot of people are waving their hands welcoming back the fleet along with men and woman all on board. Back at Alcatraz Island, Taurus spotted the aircraft carrier about to pass under the bridge as he's making calculations for firing the cannon.

War Machine is firing off bullet at Libra using his shield to protect him, Aries jumps up and swings his hammer, he knocked War Machine hard in the air. Spider-Man is on the ground doing backflip as Leo is swinging his sword trying to cut him down, but Gemini is coming from behind and strikes with a powered punch, knocking him down, Spider-Man fell down as Leo, Scorpio, Gemini, and Cancer have him surround coming towards, Spider-Man summons spider legs from his back as each tip is equipped with repulsors and fires four of them off simultaneously, taking down four of them, he gets back up as he noticed Taurus is at the controls aiming the cannon at the fleet under the bridge, he was about to move but Aquarius fires off ice beams as Scarlet Witch stepped in and protect Spider-Man with her barrier of chaos magic.

"Go!" Scarlet Witch said.

Spider-Man runs up while Scarlet Witch holds off against Aquarius still unleashing ice, Scarlet Witch pushes back and force the beam back to Aquarius as he got frozen up, Spider-Man is running towards Taurus aiming the cannon all charged up and ready to fire upon the fleet, Spider-Man jumped in and tackled Taurus hard away from the control, but Spidey realized the cannon is about to fire soon.

Taurus chuckles. "You're too late."

Spider-Man got back up as he went to the controls, he's steering the cannon away from the fleet but it still fired off a beam, the beam itself is heading towards the Golden Gate Bridge, it hits the support hard as everyone on the bridge felt the impact, Eddie Brock who's on the bridge is affected by the sonic waves as the symbiote inside him is in intense pain. The soldiers the But the bridge has taken a hard hit as it's barely keeping itself together and starting to break apart, the soldiers on the ships are seeing the serious damage the Golden Gate Bridge took, this is a terrorist attack. Spider-Man on Alcatraz Island watched the bridge from where he is and looks really bad.

"Oh no..." Spider-Man taps his earpiece. "Vision! Scarlet Witch! Head to the bridge, those people need your help!"

Vision and Scarlet Witch stopped fighting as the bridge is about to collapse any minute and all those people are in serious danger, they're leaving and flying away towards the Golden Gate Bridge while Spider-Man, War Machine, and Hawkeye are staying behind on Alcatraz to fight off Zodiac by themselves. Scarlet Witch and Vision are flying the water very fast and made it to the Golden Gate Bridge as it's about to collapse and a lot of people on it are panicking for their lives trying to hold on, not to mention the aircraft carrier passing under it will be toppled along with everyone on board.

"The bridge is barely hold on." Vision said.

"I think I can keep it together." Scarlet Witch said.

"Wanda, the bridge is too big and heavy, you're not strong enough!" Vision said.

"Maybe, but I have to try... I can do this, V." Scarlet Witch said.

Vision sighs. "Go for it."

Scarlet Witch is still hovering in the air as she focuses all her powers on the entire Golden Gate Bridge starting to break apart, the bridge is glowing red and holding most of it together, the soldiers on the aircraft carrier are looking over their heads that the bridge has stopped collapsing down as the ship is still moving under it while it still can, Scarlet Witch is focusing but the size and weight of the entire bridge is too much for her as Vision is concerned.

"Wanda..." Vision is very worried.

"I'm fine, just tell them to move, I don't know how long I can keep this up." Scarlet Witch feeling the strains.

Vision nodded his head as he flies towards the bridge as people are still frighten as the bridge is stabilized temporarily.

"Everyone, start evacuating the bridge while you still can, MOVE!" Vision said.

The people on the bridge are starting to run away from the bridge while they still can, Scarlet Witch is still holding it together as much as she can but she's losing some focus on some parts of the bridge as bits of it are collapsing as a few people are falling off, Vision is flying in and catching two of them together, but the last one is a kid falling down as Vision has his hands full carrying two people, but to his biggest surprises is something in black swinging under the bridge and caught the kid, the way he was swinging is just like Spider-Man, the kid opens up his eyes to see Venom is the one who saved his life, he was swing back to the bridge where Vision just landed with the kid's parents, they're relieved to see their boy is okay thanks to Venom. The family is reunited as Venom looks at Vision, he nodded his head and just swings away.

Meanwhile on the aircraft carrier, the whole ship made it through as everyone on the flight deck are running around and mobilizing their troops, a teams of marines all suited up and armed are boarding helicopters about to take off, eventually the helicopters are taking off and flying towards Alcatraz Island. Scarlet Witch is still holding the bridge together as people are still evacuating but there's still too many as it's starting to take a toll on her, she won't hold it for much longer. But something came in very fast onto the bridge and taking more people away from the bridge one by one as Vision noticed it, he has a feeling he know who it is.

The navy ships that hasn't crossed under the bridge all stopped in their track and anchor down, the last of the civilians being carried away are just leaving the bridge as it's all clear. Scarlet Witch finally reached her limit and passed out in exhaustion, she fell down and her powers stopped, the aura on the bridge disappears and it finally collapsed down as Vision spotted Scarlet Witch falling down to the water.

"Wanda!" Vision is worried.

Vision flies down fast as Scarlet Witch is passed out, unable to do anything but fall down hard into the water, but Vision came in and got a hold of her, he flies her back up in the air. Vision is looking upon the Golden Gate Bridge collapsed down into the bay but no casualties whatsoever. Scarlet Witch is opening up her eyes to find herself in Vision's arm high up in the air.

"V... what... what happened?" Scarlet Witch said.

"You did it, everyone is safe, thanks to you." Vision compliment her success.

"Not just me." Scarlet Witch smile.

They spotted the helicopters carrying a team of marines heading towards Alcatraz Island where the fighting continues.

"We should..." Scarlet Witch said.

"Right, duty calls." Vision said.

Vision is flying Scarlet Witch towards the island along with someone running on the water, at the same time on the road to the now destroyed Golden Gate Bridge is Eddie Brock blending in with the crowd, he's already done enough to help as he needs to disappear as he's already made Venom public. Back on Alcatraz Island, helicopters just landed on the parade ground as a team of Marine special forces teams are getting off and heading towards the prison making their way to the top where all the action is happening.

Hawkeye is running around avoiding the energy arrows fired by Sagittarius while firing off his own arrows, both are incredible archers, Libra is charging in with his shield as War Machine is firing off his Gatling gun, but behind Libra is Pisces as he swings his trident and slice off the Gatling gun in half, Aries swings his hammer hard and knocked War Machine down hard, Spider-Man is holding off against Cancer and Leo both trying to hit Spider-Man who backflipping but Taurus came in charging in for a strong tackle and knocked him down with War Machine, Hawkeye fires off arrows at Capricorn but he swings his energy chains as they slice them off into piece and swings it toward Hawkeye, cutting his bow in half, Gemini strike with a kick and knocks him down, he falls next to Spider-Man and War Machine, all three of them are being overpowered by Zodiac's numbers and teamwork.

"How disappointing, I expected more from Earth's Mightiest Heroes, you all left yourselves vulnerable, letting your two most powerful members leave." Taurus said.

"It was all worth it, we screwed up your plans to kill people, saving all those innocent lives." Spider-Man said.

"Impressive, but all pointless, you're just delaying the inevitable and now you're all going to die here." Taurus said.

All eleven members of Zodiac are about to finish off the three Avengers but something came up to the rooftop fast and strikes hard at all eleven of them before they could do anything, they all got knocked down on the ground as standing before everyone is none other than Quicksilver in his costume.

"Quicksilver?" Spider-Man said.

"Hey Spidey, looks like I'm just in time." Quicksilver smile.

Vision and Scarlet Witch return back and joined their friends as she spotted her twin brother here.

"I expected you earlier, what took you so long?" Scarlet Witch said.

"Nice to see you too, Sis. Sorry about the delay, I stop by a drive thru, needed some fuel in the tank. But looks like I made it just in time." Quicksilver said.

"Timing couldn't be perfect." Scarlet Witch smile.

Taurus got back up. "How touching, but you're still outnumbered and outgunned."

All six Avengers are surrounded by eleven Zodiac members as they're still in for a fight, but coming onto the roof are Marines all aiming their assault rifles at the terrorists, from the looks of it, they're all special forces.

"Freeze! This is the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team! Drop your weapons!" The Marine leader aiming his rifle.

Taurus looks back to see they've a team of Marines to deal with along with the Avengers, now Zodiac is the one who's outnumbered and outgunned as Spider-Man gets back up along with War Machine and Hawkeye joining Vision, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver.

"Give it up Zodiac, it's over!" Spider-Man said.

Taurus is angry. "Never! We shall never surrender to you Imperialists! We'll see our mission to the very end, even if it kills us!"

Zodiac refused to give in and they strike back at all their enemies, Libra tossed his shield as the Marines all duck down, Hawkeye charged in and tackled Libra down hard as Sagittarius aims his bow at the unarmed archer, but he was shot dead with perfect precision by the Marine leader as he saved Hawkeye. War Machine is firing his wrist guns at Cancer but the villain uses his claws to get a hold of them, he's crushing the guns with so much pressure as he's still got War Machine in his grip.

Cancer chuckles. "Looks like you're all out of ammo."

"Think again." War Machine standing strong.

War Machine's arc reactor is charging up as Cancer looks at it, it looks bad, War Machine then unleashed his own unibeam that is red, it pierced through Cancer's armor and killed him as he fell down dead.

War Machine looks down at Cancer dead. "That one is for my friend."

Both Gemini and Scorpio are both killed by the Marines with perfect precision, Leo is coming towards them with his sword as the leader is firing off his rifle, Leo came in and swings his sword, it sliced through the assault rifle, cutting it in half as the Marine rolls over and pulls out his pistol, he fires back at Leo's head, killing him instantly, whoever this Marine is he's well skilled. Taurus is making his way to the cannon as he switches tactics, he's steering it away from the fleet and towards San Francisco itself, preparing to fire as Spider-Man noticed it.

"Oh no... Quicksilver!" Spider-Man said.

Quicksilver just punched Libra, who fell over the ledge. "Yes Spidey!"

"He's about to fire the cannon again! I need you to dismantle it!" Spider-Man said.

"I can do that... Hi Ho Silver, Away!" Quicksilver smile as he speeds away.

Quicksilver is running around to find some tools, he found some and make his way towards the sonic-repulsor cannon aimed at San Francisco, Quicksilver made it and began his work dismantling it while the weapon is still charging up to full power, Taurus is still determined to see his mission to the end and kill many American lives no matter what, Quicksilver is working too fast at high speed dismantling it as the cannon is fully charged and about to fire, but before it could fire the cannon was disassembled into pieces and became useless.

Taurus lost his opportunity again as he fail his mission, he turns to Spider-Man who gave the order to stop all this, he got very angry at the hero as he charged in and tackled Spider-Man hard as they fell through an opening on the roof, both of them are falling down into the cellblock as Taurus and Spider-Man survived the fall, they're getting back up on their feet and about to continue their fight. Taurus charged in as Spider-Man runs and slides down past Taurus, he's got behind and fired a couple of web lines past the villain, he came in for a slingshot kick, knocked Taurus towards a wall hard.

Back at the top, Pisces is firing off his trident trying to kill off Scarlet Witch protecting herself with a barrier, she's still a bit too weak from exhausting her powers earlier as Vision swooped in and unleashed his solar beam at the trident's beam energy, both beams are fighting against one another, Vision is determined to protect Scarlet Witch as he focuses more of his power into the beam and pushed back, the solar beam overloaded Pisces' trident and its blew up, sending him back against a frozen Aquarius, breaking him into piece as he fell off the rooftop where Libra is lying dead, the impact killed Pisces.

Vision dropped down as he's exhausted his energy and Scarlet Witch went up to help him, but both are surprised by a energized chains swinging at them, Scarlet Witch puts up a barrier but the chains destroyed it with ease as Scarlet Witch and Vision are both vulnerable, Aries joins up with Capricorn are about to take both their lives, but Capricorn got shot through the heart by an energy arrow, instantly killing him, Aries turns around to see but he got shot too, he falls down next to Capricorn as Vision and Scarlet Witch sees Hawkeye holding Sagittarius's bow, he just saved their lives, Quicksilver speeds up next to him.

"Nice shots, Cupid." Quicksilver smile.

"Okay, ten are down, just one more to go." Hawkeye said.

Down in the cellblock Taurus is still fighting against Spider-Man determined to kill him, he charged in with a fist strike but Spider-Man got a hold and tossed the villain hard agains the cell door, breaking it into piece as he gets back up, Spider-Man pushed him back into the cell as Spider-Man is walking towards him.

"Just give it up already, you've lost! There's no point to all this!" Spider-Man said.

"YOU... RUINED EVERYTHING... I will destroy you, even if it's the last thing I ever do." Taurus won't back down.

Taurus is coming at Spider-Man who strike back with a power uppercut, sent him back into the cell, Spider-Man came up and strikes against the torso with a fury of strong punches as Taurus is seriously getting beaten up by his enemy, Spider-Man kept on punching and punching until he strike at the face, knocking him down hard. Taurus is down on the cell floor looking up at Spider-Man looking all tired out with his fists tighten.

"It's over... stay down!" Spider-Man emerged victorious.

Spider-Man turns around and leave the cell as Taurus is seriously injured and defeated, he spotted the broken cell bar with a sharp tip as he grabs it and gets back up, Spider-Man is look up to see all his teammates are alright, they're happy but they quickly frown upon seeing Taurus coming up behind Spider-Man slowly with a sharp object, his spider sense tingles as he turns around to see Taurus about to strike, but a gun was fired and the bullet hit Taurus in the head, he instantly died and falls dead. Spider-Man was just saved as he turns and looked up to see the Marine who lead the team holding the pistol, he just saved Spidey's life.

The Golden Gate Bridge is destroyed as news choppers are hovering around to see all the destruction caused by a terrorist attack, on the roads near the now destroyed bridge are local law enforcement and paramedics attending to the injured as many lives were saved in time. Back at Alcatraz Island, a number of Coast Guards are here to secure the island to see all the mess Zodiac has made, zipping up eleven body bags as all of Zodiac are now deceased, at the parade ground where helicopters are the Avengers and the Marines are all together.

"Thanks for the save soldier." Spider-Man is grateful.

The Marine leader is taking off his helmet to show an American male around 38 years of age with black hair and brown eyes standing at 6' 3".

"First Lieutenant Frank Castle of the Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team, on behalf of the United States Marine Corps, we like to thank you all for your courageous service." Frank Castle said.

"It's an honor, Lieutenant Castle. Happy to help." Spider-Man said

Frank Castle and his Marines all salute to the Avengers for this services, the Avengers all salute back to the Marines, everyone finishing saluting as the Marines are boarding the helicopters, they're taking off and leaving the island after their job is done, the Avengers were successful in defeating Zodiac with the help of the Marines.

"Okay, now that our job is done, what's next?" Hawkeye said.

"All this fighting and saving the country has made me hungry, let's eat." Spider-Man said.

"Sounds great." War Machine said.

"I'm starving!" Quicksilver smile.

"You're always starving." Scarlet Witch smile.

"Not me, being an android I never need to eat." Vision said.

"Did he just make a sense of humor?" Hawkeye smile.

All the Avengers are smiling and giggling as they're about leave Alcatraz Island, they're flying towards San Francisco for a bite after their mission to save the city and the country was a success.

It's 3:12 PM in New York City, at Oscorp Tower, in the office is Norman Osborn along with his right hand man Donald Menken who has the case with Bearer Bonds still inside, they're both watching breaking news from the West Coast on a terrorist attack that devastated the Golden Gate Bridge during Fleet Week, but it was thwarted thanks to the Avengers lead by Spider-Man, alongside the Marine Corps who assisted the heroes in taking down these terrorists.

"A group of terrorists identified as Zodiac, the same group who was responsible for the brutal Seattle attack yesterday, were using Alcatraz Island to launch their assault on the Navy ships coming in for Fleet Week, and as a result the Golden Gate Bridge has been decimated, but luckily there were no casualties thanks to Earth's Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers alongside with the Marine Corps have ended the terror threat, San Francisco and all of America can rest easy once more..."

Norman switched off the tv with the remote. "Spider-Man, of course..."

"Are you that surprised?" Donald Menken said.

"Honestly no, he seems to have a knack for always being at the wrong place at the wrong time... but that's okay, in the end, we still win." Norman is smiling.

Norman looks at the case Menken is holding the case containing the millions in Bearer Bonds they got from Leviathan.

"What do you plan to do with these millions?" Donald Menken asking with curiosity.

Norman turn to his laptop as he looks at the defunct International company, Advanced Idea Mechanics, is undergoing liquidation by the government and soon to be available for sale as this caught Norman's interest.

"We're going to use it to get back into business, or should I say expand it. Make it even better than ever, see to it those Bearer Bonds are cashed in and deposited into our accounts." Norman said.

"Yes sir." Menken said.

Menken takes his leave with the Bearer Bonds, Norman is left alone as he plans to use the now defunct A.I.M. to rebuild his secret business and make it even better than ever, in the end, he wins.

It's May 14th, time is 12:34 PM back in San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge is closed and undergoing repairs by Damage Control, meanwhile at the Avengers Compound, Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan are here as they're helping Tony Stark who is fully recovered from his injuries to the outside where Peter, Rhodey, Clint, Wanda, Vision, and Pietro are all happy to see their friend is up and welcomes him with open arounds, there a lot of snacks and drinks going on around as this is party they're throwing for their friend.

"SURPRISE!" The Avengers all cheered.

Tony smile. "Oh... don't tell me you did all this for me?!"

"It's better than being at a wake, you stubborn piece of work! How dare you put yourself in front of that beam! What were you thinking?!" Rhodey teasing.

"I wasn't... but it's good to be back!" Tony smile.

Rhodey is the first one to hug his best friend, Tony hugged back as he's starting to hugs his teammates for their success, especially Peter.

"I heard what you did, keeping the team together, lead them and completing the mission... I'm proud of you, Kid." Tony smile.

"Just to step up when the moment required it." Peter smile.

"And its certainly paid off, you all save a lot of lives and prevented a war. You all did great stopping Zodiac and Leviathan." Tony said.

"Thanks Tony, we've recovered some data on the computer Zodiac had in their possession, including intel where Leviathan is based out of, we've sent everything to Nat, she'll send what we got on Leviathan to her F.S.B. contacts, I'm sure they'll be more than happy taking the fight to them." Clint said.

"Good, I'm sure Leviathan aren't too happy we've stopped their diabolical plan for a global war, no doubt they'll try again." Tony said.

"If they do, we'll stop them." Rhodey said.

"Well, it's something you'll have to do without me." Peter said.

Peter is holding up a duffel bag as Tony got the sense where he's going with this.

"So you're doing it, you're heading home?" Tony said.

"I am, Quicksilver's gonna take Spider-Woman's place, which means this team's roster is full." Peter said.

"And I think I'm gonna enjoy it our here, the warm weather, the good food, all the hot women." Pietro smile.

"Of course you would." Wanda smile.

"You sure you don't want to stick around, Kid?" Tony said.

"As much as I love being in the West Coast and being an Avenger, my place is in New York, by her side." Peter said.

Tony smile. "I understand... listen, if you two are still picking a place for a honeymoon, I got you covered. Consider it a wedding gift."

Peter smile. "Thank you Tony."

"I'll have the jet waiting at the airport." Pepper said.

"Come on, I'll give you a lift." Clint offers.

"Thanks." Peter smile.

Lucky the Pizza Dog is barking with a smile as Peter bend down and petted the dog, he then hugs each of his teammates saying goodbye, his time here has officially ended as he's leaving the compound with Clint. Both of them are leaving the compound in a 70 Dodge Challenger called Cherry driving on the road of Hawk Hill heading towards San Francisco.

"We're gonna have to take the long way to SF with the bridge out." Clint driving the car.

"It's fine... do you think we can make a stop in city before heading to the airport?" Peter said.

"Sure, what place do you have in mind?" Clint still driving.

It's 1:55 PM in San Francisco, at an In-N-Out Burger near Fisherman's Wharf, a lot of people are waiting in line to order, Peter already ordered as he and Clint are waiting at the table, Peter is taking a sip of his soda as a staff was calling out Peter's name, he got up and walks over to pick up his bag of burger and fries, he's about to leave the restaurant with Clint.

"So this is your idea of a place to stop? An In-N-Out?"

"Hey, I love cheeseburgers, besides it'll probably be a long time for me to come back to the West Coast. I might as well get something to go." Peter said.

Peter and Clint are leaving the restaurant until they open up the door and bumped into someone, an a18 year old Korean-American girl with black hair and brown eyes who is stunned to see Peter Parker here of all places, he's also very surprised too, she's none other than Cindy Moon who attending Midtown High years ago.

"Peter..." Cindy said.

"Cindy... hi!" Peter smile.

"Hi, it's been a long time!" Cindy smile.

"It sure has... I forgot that you moved out here after sophomore year." Peter said.

"And I heard that you're engaged, congratulations." Cindy said.

"Thanks." Peter smile.

"Hey ah... you got a flight to catch." Clint said.

"Right, it's nice seeing you again, Cindy." Peter smile.

"You too, I wish you and Gwen the very best." Cindy smile.

Peter nodded his head as he leaves the In-N-Out with Clint, they both climb into the car together.

"Who was the babe?" Clint said.

"Someone I went to high school with, at least til the end of sophomore year." Peter said.

"Hmm... she's pretty cute." Clint smile.

Clint is driving the car away taking Peter to the airport as back inside the In-N-Out, Cindy is still waiting in line with others, unknown to anyone, sitting here in the restaurant is Madame Web sitting at one of the table taking a sip of soda, she's focused on Cindy Moon as she's got a great destiny ahead of her.

It's 9:34 PM nighttime in San Francisco, inside the apartment is Eddie Brock packing up his backpack as he's attempting to relocate after he made an appearance as Venom again, he just finished up and leaves the apartment for good. He made it outside and he's walking down the sidewalk alone as unknown to him, he's being spied on by men inside a SUV parked nearby, among them are Trevor Cole and Donna Diego, they spotted the target is moving, the headlights are turning on and the SUV is pulling out and driving very slowly, he's starting to notice he's being followed, he doesn't know who's they are, but he then quickly make a run for it.

"Shit!" Trevor Cole holds a radio. "Target is rabbiting, move in!"

The SUV is driving fast as Eddie Brock is running on foot to escape whoever is after him, another SUV is coming towards in the opposite direction and came up to the sidewalk, blocking his escape as the other one from behind also came onto the sidewalk, both SUV boxed him in as he's surrounded with no way to escape, men came out of the SUVs with guns aiming at him, Donna and Trevor are holding specialized sonic weapons for something else.

"Whoa, easy! I don't what you guys want..." Eddie Brock said.

"Actually we know exactly we want... Venom." Trevor Cole said.

Eddie Brock is shocked that someone knows about Venom, whoever these people are they mean business, Eddie Brock summons the symbiote from within him and transforms himself into Venom right before everyone's eyes, Venom is about to make a move but Donna and Trevor fired off their sonic weapons, symbiote are exposed to the powerful sonic waves as they're causing serious pain to Venom screaming in agony, he can't endure too much noise for too long as the symbiote is forced to separate itself from the host, it broke away from Eddie Brock who collapsed all weakened from the separation and the symbiote is moving away, Trevor and Donna moves in to keep the symbiote from escaping and has it cornered.

"Get the containment unit! Hurry!" Trevor Cole said.

The men came in with a containment unit and uses it to trap the symbiote inside, afterwards they sealed it tight as Donna and Trevor stopped, they watched as the Venom symbiote has been captured and contained, they're walking into the SUVs with their prize as Eddie Brock is too weakened to fight back, all he can do is watch as they took away the Venom symbiote and drives off, Eddie passed out on the sidewalk. Inside the SUV, Donna Diego has the containment unit with the symbiote sealed tight inside, Trevor is making a call to Carlton Drake.

"Is it done?" Carlton Drake said.

"Confirmed, we have the symbiote in our possession, heading to the airport, we'll be on our way back to New York with the prize." Trevor Cole said.

"Perfect, everything is going as planned, we're so close... I'll be waiting at the airstrip." Carlton Drake said.

"See you soon, sir." Trevor Cole hangs up.

These men work for the Life Foundation, they were sent by Carlton Drake to capture the Venom symbiote for their boss's ambitions, the symbiote plays a key role in the bigger scheme for the future.

The day is May 15th somewhere in Russia, at one of the hideout of Leviathan, the place is one of many used to operate their terror activities and enforcing their ultranationalism for the country, a number of soldiers are armed with dangerous weapons are guarding the base, inside the bases has containment units holding people inside for some kind of experiment for some unknown reason, the base commander is speaking with their leader Orion on the big screen about Zodiac's failure in America.

"Orion, we regret to inform you that Zodiac has failed their mission, they're all dead."

"How unfortunate, but we cannot let this stop us from taking what is rightfully ours, this is merely a setback." Orion isn't too concerned for defeat.

"But sir, the Avengers know this was us, what if they retaliate?"

"They won't, knowing these heroes, they won't risk an international incident invading our country... trust me, we have nothing to worry about." Orion said.

But all of a sudden, they hear the alarms trigger and tremors all around as there's trouble here, the base commander grabs the radio and is curious who's causing it.

"Comrade, report!"

"We're under attack by a six man team, they're too powerful! They're overpowering our troops!"

"Who are they? The Avengers?"

"No, they're..."

The radio is suddenly giving off static as none of them know what they're up against, everyone inside felt the tremor again as whoever's outside are overpowering their troops, the ceiling was blast and came crashing down as something red is flying down and firing off lasers, it's a man in a red armor with a red star on the chest called Crimson Dynamo, jumping down is another man in a red suit as troops are about to fire, this guy tossed his red shield at them and taking them all down, he's called Red Guardian. Coming down is the Slavic God Perun wielding his axe along with a bear name Ursa Major as both are taking out the heavy hitters, coming down is a blonde woman flying wearing black able to use darkforce energy to take out her enemies, she calls herself Darkstar, the commander is frightened five of them were able to best Leviathan's best soldier within seconds as he's about to make a run for it, but someone came down fired off webbing and stops the Leviathan commander from escaping, this guy is wearing a gray suit with a red spider on it, he's got a mask with red visors, he's standing next to his comrades, he's called Wolf Spider.

"Who... are you?!"

"We are the Champions of Mother Russia, we're the Winter Guard, and you, Leviathan, have a lot to answer for." Red Guardian said.

All six of these enhanced individuals are called the Winter Guard, the protectors of Russian lead by Red Guardian, his teammates are Crimson Dynamo, Ursa Major, Darkstar, Perun, and Wolf Spider, they're are considered to be the Russian counterpart of the Avengers, fighting for Russia's interests, they're taking the fight to Leviathan for their actions against their home.
