Flynn Taggart once had a different life, one he could remember before becoming the Slayer. But he has long since put that behind him. So, here's the idea I had. It's random, yes. But here it is. The 3 golden goddess of Hyrule want to break the cycle of evil plaguing Hyrule, after watching Calamity Ganon thoroughly wreck Hyrule as he does in BOTW. After all, Link/Zelda have never truly killed him for good. He always comes back. So Nayru finds a book about the Slayer, and the goddesses then summon him.
