Finally, they made their way to the bottom of the hill and into town. On a normal day, the rising sun lighting the tops of the buildings would be quite a sight. Today, however, clouds were slowly but surely creeping across the sky. It would probably be overcast, and if his nose was right, rain on the horizon. Cobra absentmindedly wondered if more people would be around the storefront if the weather turned bad before mentally slapping himself for even thinking about the customer attendance. The stupid barmaid's love brain-rot had clearly affected him and was starting to corrode through his own brain. He would have to ask someone to put him out of his misery soon…
Depressing thoughts aside, the two made their way to the Doctor's "office" without issue. Cobra noticed Macbeth not so much following him to the location as he was just heading in the same direction as him. He had said that Macbeth could just make his way there by himself if he left without him, but he was still surprised to see that he clearly knew the way there already. He hadn't been there before, right? Cobra wondered yet again what Macbeth stood to gain in his involvement in all this. Before he could give such thought space, the building came into view, along with the figure of a woman. Cobra almost called out to her, but before he could, he took a second glance and silently groaned.
Because the woman he at first assumed was Lucy…was definitely not.
