Eight years before the AG racing league it was 2211. A new era, a new decade. The light of anti-gravity racing. The 2048 Anti-Gravity Racing Championships season in Nova State City have ended abruptly. The FEISAR may have crossed the light sphere itself to the new era, the Sunburst era. The Anti-Gravity Federation knew that since the darkest hour of the F9000 league. Evidence suggests that scientists are closely monitoring the star's collision course to Earth. Since Star Beam Corporation taken over the FX400 league in 2207.
After the events of WipEout Pulse, it was 2219 a large light sphere is headed toward earth as everyone were preparing for the closure of the FX400 racing league as the season wraps up when the sphere come crashing down in the woods. "What in the heck is that? It might be a falling star." One of them decided to head into the woods to investigate an orb of bright light that was hovering on the ground. When one of them got closer to the light flashes Charlie Carlson was suffering many years of extreme depression. She had lived throughout the US before moving into Britain to her this might be a new era of anti-gravity racing.
she thought "If it is the beginning of the rebirth of AG racing then." she and the rest of the anti-gravity pilots' job is to participate in the league.
And she saw the ship. It was indeed a FEISAR, maybe they are searching for new pilots of the league. Twelve years after the FX400 league and its era have ended. The FX450 Anti-Gravity Racing League is announced as the twelve teams are preparing for the league. Other teams of the league in other countries are, Auricom, AG Systems, Assegai, Qirex, Goteki 45, Mirage, Triakis, Pirahna, Harimau, EG-X and Icaras.
One of the ships was rusted and old. The F3600 ship turns into the FX450 FEISAR ship. Ever since the late Pierre Belmondo invented ag racing in the late 2030s and in the 2050s. The new era of the league is coming. The AG450 ships were recently designed and upgraded. The two teams Tigron and Van Uber were somehow mysteriously withdrawn after the FX350 ag racing league.
The FEISAR sunburst ship the recent upgrade class. It is the advanced ship in the league. Equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, and anti-gravity drive. Inside the cockpit of the ship's computer was a machine with blinking lights and flashing holographic displays. The pilots are getting ready for the FX450 anti-gravity racing league. "Welcome aboard. The FEISAR FX450 will allow you to complete the league. You are now officially a member of the league." "Thank you. that's the best welcome I have gotten."
June 2219 Vineta K, Hawaii
Summer has hit Hawaii in the south of Makana. A pilot was standing there waiting for the others. The MAGEC enters its tenth year after the failure of the Anti-Gravity Racing Championships league that lasted two years.
The class 1 the original HD/Pulse ship, the class 2 resembles the AGRC speed/fighter and the ESA Lancer ship, class 3 the Fury ship were used in the FX350 and was never used in the FX400 leagues and the last class the Sunburst ship the newly rebuilt ships that replaced the Fury ships. One of the pilots has stepped in after last year's abrupt end of the league. They were looking at the class 1 ships that were the HD ships the pilots were racing on the FX350 racing league.
The CEO of the Anti-Gravity Federation said that the league will be faster than ever. "I am pleased to announce the FX450 Racing League." The ships were completed and all twelve of them were making last preparations were either testing the engines or doing repairs. The newly built engines are powered by cosmic energy. At the main building of the AG Racing Commission a man was waiting. "This might be the rebirth of the league." For the first time since the F7200 racing league the previous racetracks that were raced on FX300 and FX400 leagues that they had to make sure the side rails are checked on each racetrack and the mag strips are also in place on parts of the tracks as well. Hours before the first racetrack. An anti-gravity racing pilot walk towards the FEISAR ship.
Boris Ztratil has been the team's operations director in 2218. New weapons have been developed such as the collider have been tested instantly. This also will be the final season on the previous racetracks before racing on the newly built racetracks that have been constructed. Sean Piers the racing committee chairman is standing there. Already planning out the tracks of the league. At the FEISAR building the crewmen are preparing the ag ship. One of them he arrived in stood nearby. He then walked towards her. "Hey. You made it! I'm glad you did. We have some free equipment for you. Here." He handed Charlie the device.
She then held the device. The device is a small and simple earpiece. It is an ear jack with a small microphone and transmitter. The FEISAR 8822 can also hear her. "Put the equipment on." she puts the device on. Heard the beeping noise as she hears the beeping noise. She feels a buzz in her head. It is a strange sensation. "The FEISAR 8822 will begin interfacing with you now. Be patient while the process completes." Even know other ag teams have recently upgraded their ships as well. Seconds later the ship's computer spoke. "Engine check commencing." "Okay." she replies. "The ship is now ready for entry in the 2219 league."
The FEISAR FX450 ship was an upgrade of the recent FEISAR FX400 ship. Codenamed the FEISAR 8822 was the first ever racing new tech package included with the ship. Other ag racing teams have also revealed codenames in the other ships as well. In the Vineta K racetrack she was in the cockpit of the ship. The reaming seven pilots are in their ships are at the starting line. The clamps are holding the ship to the ground release. An AG Systems pilot named Rolf Diggles spoke through the private channel. "Okay. Engines running at full speed." "All pilots began acceleration." The ships shake acceleration pushes him forward. They are now already towards the starting line. "I'm bringing us up to full power. Let's do this." The computer spoke. "All pilots, engage your thrusters."
All eight pilots are engaged in the starting line waiting for the countdown to start. 3, 2, 1, Go. The ships thrust fire as they sped off. The ships shake as the ship thruster's fire. FEISAR speeds through the other ships while Qirex blasts through the turbo pickup. Assegai fired a missile at the Piranha ship. AG Systems used the leech beam on the Mirage ship. Another lap is down Icarus fired rockets at FEISAR but missed.
The last lap is on and FEISAR is still gaining the lead as other ag ships are giving their all. All eight ships have crossed the finish line. She climbed out of the FEISAR ship. Little did she know that this might be just the beginning. And if so, the new era is here. Other pilots have climbed out of their ships as well. One of them was a Mirage pilot named Lena Till. She told Charlie that the next race will be available for at least two weeks.
Until then she has given enough time to rest. The rest of the world has been cybernetic enchanted neon lights are everywhere around the entire country of the united states. It has now became a dystopian landscape hovercars and futuristic cars are everywhere around the cities of the USA holographic advisements are everywhere around the entire country as well. The FX450 Racing League is the succession transition to the FX500 AG Racing League.
The Anti-Gravity Race Commission have also announced they will be new racetracks in between the league all speed classes and all modes are confirmed by the AGF themselves Denis Ford was waiting for Charlie as she walked on the sidewalk the entire city is busy people are going to and from work it was already mid-morning each of the teams have revealed the newly built FX450 antigravity ships before the start of the FX450 Official Anti-Gravity Racing League the entire crew of the teams have been worked on these antigravity ships for months now.
Humanity has felt cosmic energy in their bodies, even Charlie has also felt it as well. They have known that cybernetics, alien droids and everything else are fused into one. Still in the city on the island of Manaka humans are still using whatever they possibly can through hovercars, futuristic cars going in all directions. Several went to the nightclub bars working around the clock.
"Damn it. What the hell is going on here!" Charlie exclaimed. She have looked on and instantly went to the black market and there were people in the marked it was crowded and full Ryan Romm watched on "Well I'll be fucked." He spoke. "Hey! What are you doing?" "Shit." She spoke. She continued walking she then stopped at a drinking station and gotten a can. Making sure that she bought it using the credits she has earned from the race. She drank it entirely. Then she threw it away in the trash can. Various voices are heard throughout the entire city. Multiple languages are spoken.
She has experienced the scent of smoke, alcohol, and drugs within an age when the world remains uninhabitable following the collapse of the 2170s. Androids and cyborgs are still patrolling the entire city the mega corporations are still controlling everything. Cameras are monitoring everyone in Manaka as well as the entire planet itself. people were ranging from German, Italian, Japanese, Koreans, etc. it was still a sight. a blimp was flying overhead it said. "Journey across space and beyond. A new life awaits you in the off-world colonies." She continued walking towards the racetrack. It was already confirmed that they will be a zone mode and an elimination mode as well.
They are in the garage underneath the racetrack the zone ships are lined up this will be the only time after each race they will be a zone mode that goes along with them the pilots have climbed onto the cockpits of the antigravity zone ships the zone speed classes can only go up to zen even Charlie have climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR zone ship as well. The zone ship is at the starting line as usual. The screen that is on top of the starting line shows three, two, one as it this go the zone ship went off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads are only used. It starts off with sub-venom then it began to speed up. Several zones later it is now at phantom speed class. The ship's energy is now a sixty percent by hitting the siderails of the racetrack. Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the racing teams and the pilots have responded to them. "Energy critical." The ship's computer said.
"What? Damn It." She said through the headset. Then the zone ship itself reaches zero and it begins to break into pieces as it goes black. The European racing team groaned. The rest of the pilots in their zone ships on the other racing teams went through the same thing as well also went up to zen speed classes and been breaking into pieces as well. The standings are still the same. The eliminator mode is next; the pilots are still in garage underneath the racetrack the Fury ships are lined up on each row the weapon systems are completed and ready. already been used for combat. The pilots have climbed onto the cockpits of the ships, even Charlie have climbed onto the FEISAR ship as well. Engines are fired up and ready to go.
Crowds are packed into stands on each and every corner of the racetrack and cheered. The ships are on in front of the starting line the screen that is on top of the starting line itself shows, three, two, one as it hits go the ships went off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads and the weapon pads are used ships began firing against each other taking damage the ship energy went down in seconds. Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the teams and the pilots have responded to them. All ships have used shields that have been activated instantly and they continued firing using the weapons.
Assegai used missiles and fired towards EG-X taking damage AG systems used rockets and heading towards Piranha Qirex used the shrunken weapon hitting the other antigravity ships taking damage Icaras used the replusor weapon impacting the other ships taking damage the ship' energy gets critical. Then in an instant one of the antigravity ships is eliminated and they gets put them back on the track and continued firing against each other. They continued to rack up the points till it was done. The antigravity ships has took a beating they are in the garage underneath the racetrack. The pilots climbed out of the cockpits of the ships, even Charlie have also climbed out of the cockpit of FEISAR ship as well. She then went back to the city using the hovercar people are wearing. The environment itself was bleak the skies are overcast the clothing is different.
This is also an attempt of a WipEout anime adaptation story I have written in years. Also set after the FX400 Racing League.
