As the first race of the league wraps up the pilots are getting ready for the next race. Charlie is still stunned although she never expected to use the FEISAR FX450 ship. It was previously piloted by someone else. As the crew are doing repairs of the ship. She decided to sit and wait. It was a step beyond anything she could ever imagine. A world was reborn. A city has been destroyed. It has been rebuilt by the celestial entities themselves. Mankind possibly believed that these beings have selected them throughout their lives.
She had given enough time to rest. "The ship has been rebuilt and more powerful than ever." One spoke. They knew it will be ready. They have somehow put the light sphere in front of the ship's engines. All twelve ag ships are rebuilt.
However, Charlie began seeing the white light in front of her. Unable to save it, she has no other choice but to become one of it. The rest of the pilots have also spent time off doing their chores. The next official race will likely be held at Moa Therma and they have time to get there. Hours later at the track she was already underneath the garage near the FEISAR AG ship.
As she climbed onto the cockpit and sat down the controls and the joysticks were in front. Confirmed to be a speed lap run and it was set to flash speed classification. The engines were set, and the ship went up to the starting line.
Already grabbed the joysticks in her hands. Charlie flied across the racetrack and did a speed boost at the finish line several laps have gone by possibly she noticed that the speed lap session is done. The rest of the pilots have already done their speed laps as well.
Knowing it was already July at the time and its already confirmed to be a Flash speed class is set. All eight ships are at the starting line. Airbrakes are both side of each of its teams. They are on the grid waiting for the countdown to start. Engines have been fired. Pilots are strapped in their seats.
As it hits go the ag ships zipped off in an instant "Come on." She spoke. Charlie used joysticks on the ship. All other ships are about to give their all. Two laps were down, and Mirage used the turbo boost to pass through Piranha instantly.
"Plasma." She heard the computer's voice as the plasma hit the ship below. She shakes her head. She continued piloting through the third lap. The fourth and final lap went on all ag ships firing weapons at each other giving minor damage. She was shocked as another ship finished before her. Icarus took the first-place spot. "Rats." Charlie said.
A new racetrack was introduced to the league known as Old Verox located in Vancouver. It was long. It was already nightfall at the time. Four years after the new era of the racing league has started. Natasha Belmondo hoped that this bet not be a repeat of the last league ended eleven years ago.
"Doc. Am I having well seeing sphere like things in front of my eyes." Charlie said. Dr. Gavin Gates sighed. He told her that the amounts of radiation of cosmic energy. "Well, I can't tell that Ms. Carlson but whatever the stardust does something to you. It is likely believed you have to rest for a day or two."
She nodded. She can't stop thinking about what these entities have done to her. At first, she thought they might beckon to call her. She slept through the night. Everyone packed in the seats the next day. Pilots are already underneath the racetrack. Charlie climbed on the FEISAR ag ship as she sat on the cockpit.
All ships are lined up in front of the starting line. It was set at the same speed class as last time. All pilots are waiting for the green lights. As it hits go the ag ships speed off once again. FEISAR this time gains the lead. AG Systems fired a missile at Auricom ship, causing damage. The other ag ships used different weapons on the track.
"Come on." One spoke. "I nearly had that." Another pilot said. Three laps are down as the final lap of the race is on. The AG ships crossed the finish line instantly. Another race is down and the rest to go. The city landscape itself was changed as well.
Hover vehicles flied above the skies of the city. She might knew if these upgradable ships will eventually be used later on in the league. Later, a newly built racetrack that was available to the public known as Tundra Caverns somewhere in Alaska. It was cold and windy when the pilots have arrived there. Confirmed to be a speed lap run the speed class itself is set at venom the ships are in the garage underneath the racetrack. Charlie have climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR and has strapped in and ready.
The ship is at the starting line on the racetrack the screen on the top of the starting line shows three, two, one has it hits go the ship off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads are only used throughout all seven laps have gone by and used the turbo pickup at the finish line setting a record the rest of the pilots have set in their lap records as well.
All eight ships are in each row of the track the pilots have strapped in and ready. The speed class itself is still at flash engines are fired up and ready crowds are packed into the stands and cheered. The screen at the top of the racetrack shows three, two, one as it hits go the ships are off the starting line and into the track itself the speed and the weapon pads are used AG Systems used rockets at Icaras Qirex used missiles on Mirage Auricom used mines and were placed on the track hitting Harimau taking damage of the crafts and the track FEISAR used turbo giving a boost. Three laps have gone by, and the final lap emerges, and the teams are using everything they have got.
Radio chatter can be heard from the crew and the pilots have responded the ships have crossed the finish line seconds within each other the pilots have climbed out of the cockpits of the ships even Charlie have climbed out of the cockpit of FEISAR as well. She then went to another city, it was filled with people there hovercars, futuristic cars and everything in between. She have left Manaka after living there for many years.
While taking the time to exploring the landscape she might have found an apartment building she went inside people are chatting through the building "Those damn doors are still busted." A man said. She groaned. She kept hearing the voices of the entities, it has given her a distraction. Charlie shook her head trying to get it out. Went to an apartment room and opened it. The room itself was full, it was a fit for her "Okay. This will do." She spoke. She still have credits in her wallet might have enough to pay the rent from the races she was in.
She lied on the bed it was already nightfall the sun was set lights are on each and every building people are worn out for the day she checked the wristwatch it was 8:00pm at night. She yawned as she changed to night clothes. Instantly lied down and went to sleep. Hours later people are waking up as they have started the day even Charlie has woken up, she have ate breakfast. Then she went outside of the apartment megabuilding on the block in the futuristic city hovercars, hoverbikes, hovercycles and futuristic cars are in the city streets people are chatting about various things. However she has to got to get the next racetrack somewhere in Manaka likely to be Sinucit. The league has also announced several more tracks in the speed lap, time trial and the single race runs are Citta Nova, Exostra Run, Staten Park, Koltiwa, Khara Descent and Iridia.
The pilots are at the Sinucit racetrack they are in the garage underneath the racetrack the speed laps and the time trial run the speed class is set at Flash for the single race and Venom for the speed laps and the time trial runs as Charlie climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR she has strapped in and ready the crew of the team have responded and she have responded back. The antigravity ship is at the starting line the screen is on top of the starting line shows three, two, one as it hits go the ship is off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads are used using the turbo pickup on all three laps at the start/finish line setting a lap record the rest of the pilots on other ag racing teams have set their own lap records as well.
As everyone set to prepare for the single race pilots have strapped in and ready. Crowds have packed into stands on every row of the racetrack and cheered loudly engines are fired up and ready to go. The pilots are waiting for the countdown the screen that is on top of the starting line shows three, two, one as it hits go the antigravity ships are off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads and the weapon pads are used the pilots have felt the cybernetic energy in their human skin weapons are used up by the ships taking damage as the ship energy went down in seconds. Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of every racing team and the pilots have responded. Antigravity ships continued to fly onto the racetrack crossed the start/finish line as the second lap approached.
AG Systems used rockets at Qirex Auricom used missiles towards Piranha Icaras used the shrunken weapon hitting other ships taking damage ship energy is down at seventy percent the pilots have responded through the headsets the crew of the teams have responded as well. As the third lap has gone by the antigravity ships are still using a barrage of weapons and pushing the max speed limits ships have been damaged by hitting other ships, weapons and hitting the siderails of the racetrack itself. Pilots are using everything they have possibly can the ag ships have crossed the finish line seconds withing each other the pilots have climbed out of the cockpits of the ships the crew of the teams have examined the damage they have to get repaired even Charlie have climbed out of the cockpit of FEISAR and gotten the hovercycle and drove into the city streets.
They have still gotten to the Sinucit racetrack it may likely be a zone mode the antigravity zone ships are lined up in the garage underneath the racetrack the pilots have climbed onto the cockpits of the zone ships even Charlie have also climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR as well. The engines are fired up and ready. the zone ship is at the starting line on the racetrack the screen that is on top of the starting line shows three, two, one as it hits go the zone ship went off the starting line and onto the track itself. The speed pads are only used. It starts off with sub-venom speed class then it began to speed up several zones alter the speed class is now on phantom radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the racing teams and the pilots have responded to them. She looked at the cockpit screen. The ship energy is down at sixty percent by hitting the siderails of the racetrack. "Energy critical." The ship's computer said.
She was shocked this speed class is already at zen it continues to hit the siderails of the racetrack. "Damn it." Charlie said. Then it began to break into pieces. The Eurporan racing team groaned in an instant. The rest of the pilots on other antigravity racing teams did the same thing as well also the zone ships have been breaking into pieces after the speed class. The standings are still the same. Later the elimination mode is next the Fury ships are in the garage underneath the same racetrack they have been using the pilots have climbed onto the cockpits of the ships including Charlie have climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR she has strapped in and ready. The ships have already been used for combat.
The engines are fired up and ready and all eight of the ships are at the starting line. The speed class itself is now at Flash crowds are packed into stands on every side of the racetrack and cheered. The screen that is on top of the starting line itself shows three, two, one as it hits go the antigravity ships are off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads and the weapon pads are used. Assegai used missiles at AG Systems taking damage Mirage used mines and was placed on the track hitting Qirex taking damage and ship energy went down in seconds Auricom used rockets and fired at Piranha taking damage as well. Icaras used shrunken on all of the ships they have taken damage the pilots are shaken from inside the cockpits. Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the racing teams and the pilots have responded to them. The ship's energy was absorbed into them as they crossed the start/finish line on every lap. Weapons continued to fire against each other till it reaches zero they are eliminated.
Racking up the points of each team they continued firing against one another and the session is complete. The ships are in the garage the pilots have climbed out of the cockpits of the ships even Charlie has climbed out of the cockpit of FEISAR as well she then went to the city through the hovercar she has used.
