4. Chapter 4

By the time that was done Charlie knew if she and the rest of the pilots were entirely selected not only by the teams but most likely the celestials themselves gravity can exceed the limits they knew that the next racetrack Modesto Hights and a brand new racetrack somewhere in Brazil the ships have been repaired by the crew themselves but someone wanted to reborn a new team led by Darius Goff the AGF noticed this however Goff is still interested when someone phoned him it was no other than Victor Van-Uber himself he told Goff that Van-Uber Racing Developments but he had already formed a ag racing team and it may likely follow Tigron's footsteps.

Project Chronos is in full operational a new ship currently designed, and it is estimated to be ready by the following year it will be installed on all twelve ships during the league he watched as scientists built the device it will be powerful enough to maintain speed greater than phantom class. Still in the island of Manaka it is already in the future she climbed onto the cockpit of the ship doing a speed lap run strapped in the ship was at the starting point the screen itself shows three, two, one, as it hits go the craft speeds off from the starting line used only the speed pads on the track and use the turbo pickup several times as it crosses the starting line setting a new record even other pilots have finished their speed laps as well.

The same racetrack this time is a single race the speed class itself is set at venom once again and all of the pilots are in the garage underneath the racetrack, they have climbed onto the cockpits of the ships they have strapped in as the engines are fired up and ready to go and the ships are at the starting line the screen itself shows three, two, one as it hits go the ships zipped off from that starting line and onto the track itself the speed and weapon pads are used on all eight ships Auricom used missiles on Piranha Mirage used leech beam on Qirex absorbing its energy AG Systems fired rockets towards FEISAR taking damage of the crafts as well as the racetrack.

The second lap is on, and all ships are used a barrage of weapons as well as shields FEISAR used autopilot for seconds before resets back to manually Goteki 45 fired a weapon towards Mirage hitting the craft EG-X boosts its way through using the turbo pickup the ships went through the final lap using everything they have possibly can pushing to the max limits taking damage of the crafts and the entire racetrack the ships have went through the finish line seconds within each other the pilots have climbed out of the cockpits of the ships.

The next part of the racing league is the zone mode and the antigravity zone ships are lined up each and every row of the grid the crew of the teams have checked they are in the garage underneath the racetrack the pilots are climbed onto the cockpit of the ships even Charlie have also climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR zone ship as well. The antigravity zone ship is at the starting line the screen is on top of the starting line itself shows three, two, one as it hits go the ship went off the starting line and onto the track itself using the speed pads that are only used it starts off with sub-venom then it starts top speed up once it reaches the zen speed class the ship energy went down and is now at sixty percent.

Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the teams and the pilots have responded back to them the zone ship hitting with the siderails of the racetrack she looked in the main cockpit view alarms blared throughout the ship. "Energy critical." The ship's computer said. She pounded the cockpit. Then it reaches zero as it begins to break into pieces. The rest of the pilots have done the same zone as well also went haywire the other zone ships break into pieces as well.

In the futuristic city of Alpha One, Charlie was stunned at the cityscape hovercars, hoverbikes and futuristic cars everywhere around the city. She walked on the sidewalk. Everyone is walking in all directions. Holographic advertisements are also everywhere as well. People are chattering. It was already nightfall at the time she stopped at a nightclub bar known as the Cosmos as she went in the building was full of people sitting and drinking music can be heard on the speakers throughout the bar.

Chris Sandwin the owner of the bar looked at everyone that having their time "Carlson. I didn't know you were there." he said. "Yep. I've been doing practice for the entire year." Charlie said.

"So, you want a drink or something." "I'll have a glass of water." He nodded as he poured water onto the glass cup and handed it over to her. After drinking one she instantly went out of the bar and onto the city streets when she got a call from one of the directors of operations, Boris Ztatri himself. "Carlson. You got a minute." He spoke. "Yeah. Sure."

"We have another track coming up said to be the former track in Brazil and it is now known as Dresforn Bay." She began to ponder that this track was destroyed in the 21st century to make room for the newly built racetrack was announced in 2051. However new pilots are set to drive the antigravity crafts for the junior racing league.

Talon's Junction and Old Paclan are the next racetracks after the rest of the racetracks over to go Darius Goff have made the announcement the formation of new ag racing team and may likely debut after the league. Meanwhile the pilots are getting ready for the new racetrack, they are in the garage underneath the track, the ships are docked, the engines are fired up. Charlie climbed onto the cockpit of the FEISAR ag craft she had strapped in. The rest of the pilots have climbed and strapped themselves in as well.

Radio chatter can be heard on the headsets, and they have responded. The ships are at the starting line and the speed class itself was set at flash. Crowds cheered loudly as they sat on the stands. Waiting for the countdown. The screen shows three, two, one as it hits go the ships sped off from the starting line and onto the track itself the speed and the weapon pads are used by the ships Piranha fired missiles towards Auricom wile Mirage used leech beam on Icaras absorbing its ship energy EG-X used rockets on Qirex taking damage of the crafts and the racetrack itself.

The second lap is on, and all ships are pushing through the max speed limit using a barrage of weapons and speed pads as well EG-X used missiles heading towards Qirex as Goteki 45 used rockets at Auricom hitting the craft taking damage. FEISAR used the turbo pickup to give it a boost. It did a barrel roll as it speeded further down on the track. And they have knew it. The crafts have been damaged for various reasons.

The third lap approaching, and all ships are racing on the track even the racing league itself will be looking into off world colonies as it progresses. With humanity plunged towards the new era the ships are still on the racetrack already damaging everything in their path. Radio chatter can be heard from the headsets from the pilots as they have responded. The ships have crossed the starting line as the fourth and final lap is on the crafts have using the max speed limits as they have possibly can.

The antigravity ships have instantly crossed the finish line in seconds within each other. Charlie have climbed out of the cockpit of the FEISAR ship as well as the rest of the pilots have climbed out of theirs too. While riding on the hovercycle on the streets of Alpha One Charlie can think that the next race will be Talons Junction somewhere in the Wales area.

Headed to the apartment in the street she shuts off the hovercycle Charlie was walking towards the apartment door went in and headed to the fourth floor of the building. Just as the rain starting to come down. People grabbed their umbrellas so that they do not get soaked. The rain continued to be pounding down in the streets. They have to get to the next racetrack which is likely to be in zone mode. Later the pilots are on the racetrack they are in the garage underneath the racetrack the zone ships are in each row of the grid the speed classes that can go up to supersonic speed. Charlie have climbed onto the cockpit of the FEISAR zone ship she has strapped in, and ready engines are fired up and ready to go the zone ship is at the starting line the screen that was on top of the starting line itself shows three, two, one as it hits go the zone ship went off the starting line and onto the track itself. The speed pads are only used like the speed lap and the time trial runs.

It starts off with sub-venom as normal several zones have gone by and it increases to rapier then it went to zen speed class she continued to turn every corner of the racetrack hitting the side rails of the racetrack ship energy went down to seventy percent the antigravity zone ship continued to hit on the siderails of the racetrack alarms blared throughout the ship "Energy critical." the ship's voice said.

Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the teams and Charlie has responded to them. "Ugh. This keeps getting worse." The cockpit of the zone ship was shaken as the zone ship began to break into pieces ending the zone mode setting a record the rest of the pilots have went through the zone mode as well setting speed classes to the same or higher. The pilots have climbed out of the cockpits of the zone ships even Charlie have climbed out of the cockpit of FEISAR zone ship as well.

As she went back in the city using the hovercar people were talking and doing other things she grumbled. Headed to the apartment building the hovercar shuts off by itself she have got out of the car and went inside took the racing clothes off and changed into the normal clothing as usual. Later she has woken up knowing that then it will be an elimination mode is set the Fury ships are on the garage underneath the racetrack the pilots are standing there near the antigravity ships the ships are ready for combat then the pilots have climbed onto the cockpits of the ships even Charlie have climbed onto the cockpit of FEISAR as well. The engines are fired up and ready to go. The ships are at the starting line.

Crowds are packed into stands on each and every side of the racetrack and cheered. The screen that is on top of the starting line itself shows three, two, one as it hits go the antigravity ships are off the starting line and onto the track itself the speed pads and the weapon pads are used AG Systems used rockets fired at Assegai and the ship energy went down in seconds ships began firing the weapons against each other. Radio chatter can be heard from the crew of the racing teams and the pilots have responded to them. Then one of the ships were down and that is Auricom who was hit by the mines that was placed on the track by Mirage and was eliminated. The ships went crossed the starting line giving the ship energy absorbed into them.

The antigravity ships continued firing at each other doing so racking up the points till the end of the session. The standings are still the same. The pilots have climbed out of the cockpits of the ships including Charlie have climbed out of the cockpit of FEISAR as well she went to the hovercar and drove into the city streets heading to the apartment megabuilding.
