Tanya watched as her Xenomorph Worker worked. It tended to a glowing blue plant gently. The plant was highly nutritious and grew quite well in the cave. Tanya couldn't quite tell what it used to grow. Perhaps the dirt in the cave was the nutrients of the plant.
Feeling restless, Tanya came up behind Ceri. Ceri was in a metallic building and was looking at a computer monitor. Prima and Vara worked beside her. The two did not know Tanya could talk yet. Ceri noticed Tanya and headed out toward the door.
"Continue working."
The work Ceri had Prima and Vara doing was analyzing the plants on the island. It was to see if any of the plants were edible. She also had them gather soil samples to see if plants like carrots could grow.
Prima watched as Ceri left the building with the Xenomorph. He didn't know how but it seemed Ceri had come to be able to communicate with the strange Xenomorph Queen. It was strange, very strange. So far, the strange Xenomorph Queen was quite peaceful. It was valuable data for Weyland Yutani that he one day hoped to deliver while gathering more data.
Outside the building, Tanya led Ceri to a quiet place. It was by a clear body of water. Silence hung in the air. Ceri became nervous.
"These Yautjas, what more do you know of them?"
"Everything that I had told you is all I know of them."
Ceri hadn't told Angel everything about the Yautjas. After all, they may be able to kill Angel and she'd be free. She hoped Angel wasn't too suspicious of her.
Tanya dug her hand into the ground and flung it at high speed. The dirt and stone slammed into something invisible. Ceri's eyes widen, was it a Yautja?
Tanya walked over and an Elite Yautja got itself up from the ground. It was badly injured. It pointed the claws on its hands toward Tanya.
"It's impressive you're still to stand after your bones were shattered. If you don't take care of the wound on your body now, you'll die for sure. Wouldn't it be pathetic if a warrior like you died without even putting up a fight?"
The Yautja roared at Tanya and charged. Tanya dug her hand into the ground again and flung another barrage of stone and dirt. The Yautja couldn't avoid the attack and was slammed into the ground. It knew it was going to die and moved to detonate the advanced technology on it.
"Going to blow yourself up after losing? How cowardly, I expected more of your kind. I'll let you live because of how weak and insignificant you are. Face me again when you aren't a coward."
Tanya turned and took Ceri. The Yautja wordlessly watched her leave. Shame came upon him. It was a shame so great he knew it would be more shameful to attack the Xenomorph while its back was turned against him. Especially after it had just spared him.
With great difficulty, the Yautja got up. He could only avenge the shame he took today at another time. The shame he took today, he would use it to grow stronger. Before he came back, he hoped the strange Xenomorph Queen wouldn't die anytime soon or he would never be able to cleanse his shame.
"You were right sweetie, they do hate shame. Thanks for telling me."
Tanya walked into the darkness with Ceri in her hand. This world was quite different from the two worlds she once lived in. Being X, how she hated that being. One day, if it came, she hoped she could beat the living daylight of Being X.
The Yautja by the name of Bone Blood came out of the cave. A Yautja ship revealed itself from above and took him in. He expected Bone Hawk and Bone Viper, Clan Leader candidates, to look at him with scorn. But they didn't, it seemed as if they knew he would lose.
For Bone Hawk and Bone Viper, they were confident the once four-armed Praetorian named Paragon by them would win. If Paragon lost to Bone Blood, that would be very surprising. It would also be very surprising if Bone Blood managed to blow Paragon up. The two didn't care about the less advanced technology being stuck in the cave, this planet was under their full control so the technology could never escape.
Although Bone Hawk and Bone Viper had not expected to be surprised, they were still surprised. It seemed Paragon had let Bone Blood live. It was a shame Bone Blood would have to live with until he avenged the shame.
Bone Hawk and Bone Viper felt fear and excitement. To know they could be humiliated by Paragon just as it did with Bone Blood brought them fear. While the excitement came from bringing down Paragon. Truly, it was not a mistake to pit the two Xenomorph hives against each other.
Their father Elder Claw also wanted to fight Paragon. All three of them did. Who would go first was the question and current debate. Paragon was far too valuable of a prey to be hunted by rights alone. They would have to take this up and settle the hunting rights in their home world.
It would bring massive attention without a doubt. Many would be vying for the right to hunt Paragon if they found out. Bone Hawk and Bone Viper could only do this so that their father didn't forcibly take the right to hunt Paragon with Clan Elder power.
Bone Blood looked at the two with calm. The two most likely knew but he wanted confirmation. He wanted an answer.
"Did you two knew I would be shamed by Paragon?"
Bone Hawk and Bone Viper shook their head. They looked at each other. Bone Viper spoke truthfully.
"We expected you to die, not to be shamed."
There was silence for a moment.
"I understand, thank you."
