Tanya woke up and strolled over to the captive Queen. Her workers carefully handled the Royal Jelly they'd collected and placed them in barrels. On the side, Ceri watched with Vara. The two wondered what Angel was going to do. Tanya made a hiss and her Xenomorph obeyed. She reached out her hand and grabbed the Queen's face.

"Lay an egg of a Royal Facehugger for me, sweetie."

The Queen hissed at Tanya. Tanya proceeded to backhand the Queen. Ceri and Vara were speechless at the sight. Tanya again grabbed the Queen's face.

"Lay the egg."

The Queen seemed to obey and Tanya smiled. A Xenomorph Drone brought the egg up to Tanya. Tanya held the egg in her palm and looked at the Queen.

"I wonder if I should feed it to you."

The Queen hissed and Tanya seemed to smile. The egg in her hand slowly opened as if having sensed Ceri who was a suitable host. The Royal Facehugger jumped towards Ceri and Tanya quickly caught it with her hand. It struggled fiercely in her hand but couldn't do much. Ceri wondered what Angel was going to do with the Royal Facehugger.

"What are you going to do with that Royal Facehugger."

"Aren't you curious as to what this bad girl could do with a Yautja?"

Ceri and Vara's eyes widened. The two remembered that outside the cave was a Yautja. If the Yautja hadn't left, it would be in trouble.

Outside the cave, Hide Rage contacted the ship above. The Elders looked at him with calm. It seemed they were not surprised if he wanted to give up. But Hide Rage had no intention of giving up.

"I would like to speak to my clan elder Hide Fall."

Hide Fall stepped forth and looked at Hide Rage. He wondered if Hide Rage was going to ask for forgiveness. There was no need for that in Hide Fall's opinion. Giving up before Paragon was acceptable to the clan's honor."

"Speak Hide Rage, what is it?"

"I would like to thank you and the clan for everything Elder. I know our clan paid much for access to this hunt. I apologize for my lack of ability."

"There is no need for you to apologize. You will not lose honor if you choose to live another day."

"That may be true, but I want to see right here and now, how far I can go against this monster."

Elder Hide Fall became silent for a moment. He then nodded with respect to Hide Rage's choice. Truly, Hide Rage was a worthy pride of the clan.

"Very well."

Hide Rage bowed and turned off his communicator. He activated a combistick. Before him, Paragon turned visible. Before he could react, Paragon grabbed him with one hand and squeezed. Hide Rage roared with pain and dropped his combistick. His bones shattered and Tanya dropped him like a doll to the ground.

Tanya took off his mask and opened her hand. A Royal Facehugger jumped onto his face and did its job. The Royal Facebugger then ran but was crushed to bits under Tanya's finger.

Tanya took Hide Rage and entered her lair. Up on the Yautja ship, Elder Hide Fall tightened his fist. That was not a death he wanted for Hide Rage. Whatever Paragon was planning, he would not let it slide.

In her nest, Tanya had her drones surround Hide Rage's body. They were ordered to catch the Royal Chestburster when it came out. Wanting to sleep after a short day of work, Tanya closed her senses.

Time passed and she was awoken by one of her Drones. The Royal Chestburster had come out and was being held tightly by one of her Drones. From its appearance, Tanya could tell it would one day become quite a deadly creature.

Tanya looked at the Queen who was silent. It watched her spawn struggle desperately in the hands of Tanya's Drone. Tanya smiled and grabbed a see through casing nearby. She spat out some Royal Jelly inside. Ceri's eyes widened at the sight. The Drone came over and shoved the Royal Chestburster in.

The Royal Chestburster struggled fiercely in the liquid. The Queen screeched at Tanya and Tanya used her tail to backhand the Queen. The Royal Chestburster went limp in the liquid. Tanya felt a connection with it and placed the casing down.

The Royal Chestburster was let go of by the Drone. It seemed to come back alive and consumed every drop of Royal Jelly. Slithering out of the casing, it looked up at Tanya. Tanya grinned at the little creature.

"What should I name you darling? You're going to be working for me for a long time to come, hopefully. I'll name you Tero for Test Zero. Now then, go eat and get bigger."

Tero seemed to obey and slithered off to eat the glowing plants in the cave. Tanya turned to Ceri who was trying to steal the Yautja technology off the dead body. She looked as if she was caught red handed.

"What?"

"Nothing, do you as wish with the technology. Just make sure to see if you can contact them. I would love to make a deal with them."

Ceri watched as Angel lumbered away. She breathed out a breath of relief. Being around Angel was unnerving. She never knew what Angel was going to do.

Outside the cave, Tanya looked at the sun shining above. This world honestly wasn't that bad. As for the vast galaxy out there, she had no care for it. Here on this island was enough for her. There wasn't much threat to her besides the Yautja. They were simple creatures she could deal with.

Curling into a ball, Tanya rolled through the trees. There were many beautiful sights on the island and many more she hadn't seen. She was sure there were more beautiful things elsewhere on this planet. This third life of hers truly didn't seem so bad.
