Chapter 1560 Nervous Laugh
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Batman was at his cave as he scans the world for anything.
"After what happened with the Joker, it's best to search for any other wordly appearances."
His computer then detects a signal at the city. "Someone has appeared in Gotham."
He goes out since this could be a danger in the world, they already had Superman and the return of the Joker, he can't allow another threat roaming around.
He glides through the city to check for where the signal is. He uses his cowl to scan before he saw the signal at a building.
"There he is."
Batman enters the building and he gasped. He saw a man that resembles Joker but he was just pale but didn't have the make up.
The man looks at him. "Bruce?"
"Joker? But how?" asked Batman.
Last time he saw him was when he became a zombie.
"I'm John Doe. It seems this isn't my world." He sighs.
Batman then understood that the dimensional rift was from him.
"So a different version of him." speculated Batman.
John looks at him. "You know I think me and my Batman are friends. He always looked after me after I lost my memories. It's just not home anymore in this world."
Batman was surprised to see him like this, he acted like a lost soul.
Something that Joker would never acted like.
"Could you help me?" He asked Batman.
Batman stares at him.
Later
Suicide Squad were hanging out in they're base. Deathstroke was among they're ranks as he looks around.
Then Batman came.
"Hey Batsy!" Harley said.
"What brings you here?" Deadshot said.
"I have someone that would join you." He said.
"Who?" asked King Shark.
Someone came surprising them since it's John Doe.
"Joker!" exclaimed all of them.
He looks at them. "Oh hello."
"H-How is he alive?!" said Deathstroke, while Harley glared at John.
"This is a alternate from a different world." Batman said.
"An alternate? Like with Superman?" asked Toyman.
"Yeah the younger one." Deadshot said.
Joker laughs. "Sorry, I laugh when i'm nervous."
"Okay I can definitely see why hed an alternate." said Peacemaker.
"I know you might not like me but maybe we can be friends?" John raises a hand towards Harley.
Harley stares at him as he looked nervous.
She looks hesitant recalling her previous encounters with her own Joker.
"I think you might not like me as much. My Harley was always so demanding." John said.
"Wow, what a switch." Boomerang said.
John puts his hand away. "I want to be a hero. I just couldn't be like how my Batman did it. So this is the best I can do."
Harley stared at him again before sighing, "Fine, I'll give you a chance."
He smiles. "Oh thank you. I'll do my best."
Batman looks at them. "I'm counting on you." He goes off.
They stared at the Joker as he looks around nervous and chuckles a bit.
"Well this will take time to get used to." Croc said.
"At least he's not as crazy as ours." Boomerang said.
With Sota
Hikari was at Sota's house getting ready for her coming of age ceremony that was coming up. He managed to come back for the day.
"Hmm not this one." She said looking at some possible designs.
"Why don't you wear mom's kimono?" He suggested.
"That's a good idea." Hikari said. "Do you remember where it is stored?"
"Dad would know." He said.
"I'll call him." Hikari said pulling out her phone.
He waited as she goes to talk.
She then comes back after a couple of minutes.
"He said he'll bring it here." Hikari said.
"Well let's wait." He said.
She nods as she then cuddles up with Sota.
He got surprised.
"What?" She questions.
"Do you have to do that?"
"Why shouldn't I?" She questions with a narrowed look.
"Someone will get the wrong idea." He said.
"We're siblings so its not weird." She said.
"I know how you truly feel." He said.
She blushes a bit at that.
Then the door bell rang.
Hikari gets up and goes to answer it.
They saw they're father there.
"Hey dad." She said.
"Hikari how are you my daughter?" He asks as he hugs her.
"I'm fine, so do you have it?" She got excited.
"Of course I do." He said stepping away and handing her a box.
She smiles holding it, but then two old people came.
"Grandma and grandpa?" Hikari questions in surprise.
Sota came. "What are you doing at my place?"
"We came to see Hikari." The Grandma said.
"What?" He said.
They basically forced themselves inside as they sat at a table together.
"Why did you come here?" Aoto questions.
"And at my house." Sota said.
"We came to give Hikari this." The Grandma said placing a box on the table.
"What's this?" She said.
'Your aunt's Kimono." The Grandma said opening the box.
They got surprised.
"What?!" Hikari said.
"Why did you bring it here?" Aoto questions with a frown.
"Since it's her coming of age it would be better if she uses this one." The grandmother said.
"But I wanted to wear mom's kimono." Hikari said.
"Hikari your aunt's kimono would be better than that flashy one." The grandmother said.
"Mother do not talk about my wife's kimono like that." Aoto said sternly.
"Plus it's Hikari choice." Sota said.
"Sota is right mother don't force your wants on her." Aoto said.
She then started to cry and be the victim.
"How about I just put on once and we take pictures of me wearing it?" Hikari suggests as a compromise.
"Think of what your grandmother feels." The grandfather said.
"I am but what about my feelings? This is my coming of age ceremony. A day that only comes into a girl's life once." Hikari said.
"Plus why do you care about our aunt stuff." Sota said.
"She was my daughter." The grandma said.
"And was a bitch." Aoto had enough.
"Don't talk about your sister like that!" Both grandparents said angrily.
"I'll talk to her whatever I want! Because she was a fat worthless drunk that got killed in a bar fight." He said.
The grandmother tries to slap him.
But Aoto grabs her arm. "I am no longer a child."
"let go of your mother!" His father demands.
"No! Both of you out of here!" Aoto points at the door.
"Fine but Hikari will wear this Kimono." The Grandmother said with a glare before both of them storms off.
"No I won't." Hikari frowns.
"Hikari I will not let them push their demands on you." Aoto said.
She smiles at her father.
Sota makes a call to Megumi. "Hey could you watch over Hikari at her day."
"Of course I can." Megumi said happy to help her sister.
He nodded.
Later
They saw Hikari wearing her mother's kimono as she smiles.
"It looks good on you Hikari." Megumi said.
"Thank you." She said.
"Sota and dad told me about them. Don't worry as I and our other sisters are keeping a eye out for them." Megumi said.
"Good." Aoto nodded.
"Just in case we're all packing a taser." Megumi said.
Hikari goes to the building where her friends are waiting and she smiles.
"Hikari that's a wonderful Kimono!" One of her friends said.
"Thanks, it's from my mom."
"So a family heirloom then?" One asks.
She nodded. "Yes."
"Then we should help you take care of it for the ceremony to make sure it doesn't get dirty and damaged." A third said.
Hikari goes with them and Megumi saw the grandmother coming to the building.
"Oh no." Megumi mutters as she sends a quick text to the others.
Then then Twins stopped them.
"You better not think about messing up Hikari's day." Mako said.
"That's right." Mao said.
"Get out of our way!" The Grandmother shouts.
"No!" They said.
The grandparents tries to push through them.
But then the other sisters came too.
"We won't let you destroy her day!" Nina said.
They pushed them away and then Sota came with they're father.
"How dare you try to ruin my daughter's Coming of Age Ceremony!" Aoto said angerily.
"But I wanted her to have the best kimono!" The grandmother cries.
"And she has it." Nina said. "Mom's kimono."
"But we hired a professional to put on the other one." The grandfather said.
"And who said she was going to do it!" Aoto glares.
"She will because we say so!" The Grandmother shouts.
Aoto had enough and punches her down.
"Aoto!" The Grandfather shouts in rage.
He got punched too.
"I had enough!"
Both of the grandparents look at Aoto with rage and fear.
"You disgraced the memory of my wife and now you want to barge in Hikari's big day! You are not my family anymore as I will cut ties!" He said.
"What?!" Both of them shouts.
"I don't see you as my parents anymore. Even more when you looked down on Sota saying his brothers were better when his older ones were all the worst ones." He said.
"But they are better!" The Grandfather shouts.
"Oh yeah! Why did I kick them out then!" He said.
"Because you're a damned fool!" The grandmother shouts.
"No! Because they care more about competing instead of family! Do you think a good big brother would try and steal his younger ones girlfriend! Now get out of my sight!" He yelled.
He then calls in some men to take them away from his family.
Hikari came. "Is everything alright?"
"Yes everything is alright." Nina said to Hikari.
She smiles.
"Go back and have fun." Sota said.
"Thank you." Hikari said to her family happy she was with them.
She goes back as the others watched her smile. The grandmother tried to make herself the victim but many saw what happened and she got shunned by everyone now she and her husband are alone.
Note: The Joker that appeared for the Suicide Squad is the Telltale version John Doe, I like that version since he can become good, the grandparents is based on a Revenge Film vid but with a twist to what happens as Aoto is not as nice.
