The night in Gotham is unusually quiet, the streets slick with recent rain and the city's usual cacophony reduced to a low hum. Jotaro Kujo moves through the shadows, his presence barely noticeable as he navigates the maze of alleys and rooftops. He's been in Gotham long enough to know that the calm won't last; the city is a powder keg, always on the verge of exploding.
Jotaro's current mission has led him to a part of Gotham he hasn't explored much yet—a rough, dangerous area where even the most hardened criminals tread carefully. He's heard whispers about a vigilante who operates here, one who uses lethal force without hesitation: the Red Hood.
As Jotaro reaches the rooftop of an old, crumbling building, he feels a presence nearby. Star Platinum materializes silently behind him, its senses heightened. Jotaro turns slowly, his eyes narrowing as he spots a figure standing at the edge of the roof, silhouetted against the moonlit sky.
The figure steps forward, revealing himself to be the Red Hood. Clad in his iconic red helmet and tactical gear, he carries an air of menace mixed with a calm, controlled demeanor. The two vigilantes stare each other down, the tension between them palpable.
Red Hood: "So, you're the guy I've been hearing about. The one who's been taking down Gotham's worst like they're nothing."
Jotaro's expression remains stoic, his gaze unwavering.
Jotaro: "And you're the one they call Red Hood. I've heard you don't follow the same rules as the others."
Red Hood chuckles, the sound slightly distorted by his helmet.
Red Hood: "That's one way to put it. Gotham's a cesspool, and sometimes you need to get your hands dirty to clean it up. I'm not here to play nice."
Jotaro tilts his head slightly, observing the man in front of him. He knows Red Hood's reputation—violent, ruthless, and driven by a personal vendetta against crime. But Jotaro also senses something deeper, a pain that drives Red Hood's actions.
Jotaro: "I'm not here to stop you. But if you cross a line, I'll make sure you regret it."
Red Hood crosses his arms, clearly sizing Jotaro up.
Red Hood: "You're not like the others, are you? You don't have the same no-kill rule Batman and his bunch follow."
Jotaro's eyes narrow, his tone firm.
Jotaro: "I don't go out of my way to kill, but I won't hesitate if it's necessary. I don't care about rules—I care about stopping the people who deserve it."
Red Hood nods, as if he's found some common ground.
Red Hood: "That's more than most can say. Still, you've been making waves in Gotham, and that puts you on everyone's radar. Including mine. So, what's your angle? Why are you really here?"
Jotaro considers his words carefully. He knows that revealing too much to someone like Red Hood could be dangerous, but he also recognizes that they may be after the same thing.
Jotaro: "Let's just say I'm on a bit of a manhunt. Batman's gone missing, and I have a feeling the people responsible are connected to the worst Gotham has to offer. I'm gonna find them, and when I do, I'll take them down."
Red Hood's posture shifts slightly, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
Red Hood: "You're looking for Batman, huh? You and half the city. But you're right—whoever's behind his disappearance is tangled up with the scum running this place. I've been working my way through them, and I've got leads. But it's dangerous work. These guys don't go down easy."
Jotaro steps closer, his tone serious.
Jotaro: "I don't need easy. If you have information, share it. We can cover more ground working together."
Red Hood seems to ponder the offer for a moment before he speaks.
Red Hood: "You're not wrong. Gotham's too big for one person to handle, even someone like me. Fine. I've been tracking a gang that's been making moves recently. They're well-armed, well-connected, and they've been too quiet lately. I've got a feeling they're planning something big. I was gonna hit them tonight."
Jotaro nods, recognizing the potential of their combined efforts.
Jotaro: "Then let's move. We'll take them down together."
Red Hood pulls out one of his pistols, checking the magazine before holstering it again.
Red Hood: "You lead the way, and I'll cover you. But don't think for a second that I'm playing sidekick."
Jotaro smirks, tipping his hat slightly.
Jotaro: "Wouldn't dream of it."
With a shared understanding, the two vigilantes set off into the night, their skills and strengths complementing each other as they prepare to confront the darkness that plagues Gotham. Jotaro knows that Red Hood is a wild card, unpredictable and dangerous, but he also knows that in a city like Gotham, having an ally like him could make all the difference.
