Chapter 1740 Fluff Off
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Antonio is walking down the streets of Team Light's world and he looks around.
"Not really my type, as I prefer the old style of my world."
Louise's world was fine since yeah it was more older style than his but the high tech worlds was never something he enjoyed as it was too much, he prefered to go a steam powered vintage pub over hearing techno.
He then senses something and teleported away, he looks up and sees a robot woman.
"So another machine." He frowns.
"I am Alkhema, it seems that you are another human that lives in the past. So you'll be the first to fall."
She charges at him and he dodges her before using his powers to blink away.
The robot got surprised and he takes out his gun to shoot at the machine but she blocks with her arms.
Alkhema then shoots lasers making him use his time ability to slow everything down around him, he moves to the side avoid it.
"His powers." She mutters.
He looks at her and sends a windblast knocking her back.
'My weapons won't do much so better with a different tactic.'
His metal arm charges up as it was his best choice against her.
Alkhema noticed it. 'His arm, it's not normal.'
She charges to strike at him but he uses his time powers again to avoid it before punching her in the chest.
The army sent a powerful blast that sent her flying away and damaged her body.
Alkhema checks her chest and was shocked at the damage she got.
"That arm, it's such a old tech that shouldn't even compare to me yet it harmed me?!"
"Magical abilities can help use it better." Antonio said.
She thinks of something before a giant axe came down slashing her arm off.
"What?!" She said.
Someone picks it up and it's a woman with green hair wearing a pink shirt and shorts, the shirt has fluff off written. And she looked crazy.
"I'm tired of fairy tail stuff and I have to find a fucking robot!" She yelled.
Alkhema can tell she's insane. "I'll get you both later."
She flies off leaving them there.
Antonio looks at her. "Your a strange one."
"Oh yeah, the names Gertrude, Gert for short and I have been having a bad day! I couldn't get a job right ever since I came back!" She said.
"I'm Antonio and what do you mean?" He asked.
"You see when I was little I got sent to this magical fairy land, where I had to go on a quest." She said.
"Okay, that sounds similar to some friends of my group and own friend Sota had to deal with." He said.
"I was sent to find a key to go back home. 27 years ago when I got sent there!" She said.
"Oh." He understood.
"Oh I thought it be so cool being in a world like that, but after not aging for a long time I went insane and killed my way through everything and steal!" She growls.
Antonio stares at her and since that experience messed with her mind.
"So what are you?" She questions him.
He stares. "I'm what's called a Steampunk guy."
She processes his answer. "Well... Better than fairy tales. Steampunk is just some old version of the world."
"If you say it like that." He shrugs.
"Ugh, I can't even get a good job, since who would have known spending 27 years in a fairy land doesn't help me!" She said.
"Wait time doesn't even slow down outside?" He said.
"No! I'm bad at everything except killing! They even forced me to become the Queen after I killed they're other Queen but yada yada! I'm back and fuck Fairyland!" She said.
Antonio stares at Gert. "You can fight right?"
"Yeah." She said.
"How about you work with me. I know you don't like fairy worlds but if you help me stop a team that's been causing evil I can at least grant you a place and payment." He said.
She thinks about what he said. "Really?"
"Yes, despite the change you still have some of the powers you have. I can help you get them back without returning to that world. And you don't have to return there." He explained.
"Well... Okay. It's the only thing I can do is kill." Gert said.
He takes her with him as the two walked down the road together and she saw a Steampunk style pub with the words Steam Sky.
"Huh, you have a pub." Gert said.
"Yeah, I had it done to have a place to work on my free days." Antonio said.
A pub was a simpler place for him to make and the style of his world attracted some people to it.
They went inside and saw it was like similar pubs in his world with many Steampunk designs to it.
"Well... It's quaint. I never been to this kind of stuff before but hey, it at least gets me away from the fairy tale junk. So do I have to wear a uniform or something?" She asked.
"It's your choice." He said. "You can just serve drinks in the counter. Or even be at the kitchen do dishes. You can clean them right?"
She nodded.
"Good, than all I ask is simple tasks since this can pay your rent easily." Antonio said.
"Okay, let's just go." Antonio goes to a door.
She looks at few stands with outfits one of a old dress.
"Yeah, I'm not wearing something like that again." She frowns.
Then Gert saw a female soldier outfit similar. She stares and looks around before taking it with her.
"I'll keep this."
She liked that style more.
Antonio was at a office and he can tell Gertrude can prove to be a good help for future battles.
"That robot woman, she will be a problem for later on." He frowns.
He will have to deal with her later on.
Note: Antonio fought Alkhema while meeting Gertrude from I hate Fairyland and I found her comic to be interesting so I added her to the verse.
