It was gentle, it was tender, it was perfect.

Elsa stirred around and noticed the discomfort yet comfort around her. She was wrapped in warmth, but beneath her was a hard piercing surface.

Even though it was a stranger, she had never felt so safe, and in heaven before, so she wanted to last in it for a bit. Call her eccentric for all she cared.

Her blue eyes opened; she saw skin and inhaled the foreign scent. That wasn't enough, so unhurriedly; she pulled her head back to look up who this was.

"Jackson." She gasped and gulped.

Hearing his original name, which rarely anyone calls him by, he forced his eyes open "Elsa."

They both didn't let go of the embrace and inspected the surrounding. Where were they? How did they end up here? What was going on?

After a good minute of trying to remember yesterday, they finally realised they still held onto each other, so they leapt apart. "I'm sorry." Simultaneously they flinched.

"What happened? Ouch!" Nausea hit her when Elsa tried to stand up.

A chicken clucked and bit Jack's leg "Tuffnut!" He finally realised who was behind this.

So the Nut appeared hearing his name. "Finally, you both are up."

Elsa held her head, preventing it from spinning and tried not to move. "Tuff, what happened yesterday? I don't remember a thing."

"We played Sofalia Ziwa" They nodded, recollecting bits of that. "And then I married you guys."

Their jaws hung open, and Jack, not giving a damn about his hangover, walked up to Tuff and grabbed him by his collar. "You did what?!"

He shrugged, unbothered by the threat. "It was your idea both of you wanted me to marry you."

Elsa groaned out loud. "How come I don't remember it? Also, hey, you can't get married when you're drunk."

Afraid to acknowledge it, Jack bit the insides of his cheek. "Yes, you can."

Without a second, she lunged at Tuffnut, delivering her best punches "You motherfucker, asshole, pain in the ass, you weirdo! If we were drunk, didn't you know not to get us married?"

The insults and abuse left him mindblown "But you asked for it!"

Of course, Tuffnut wouldn't get it; he's an idiot, so Elsa picked up her phone from the ground and called for Snotlout to pick her up. "Oh, you're such a pain in the ass Tuff."

Jack wanted to drop her home as promised, but he had to agree it was a very awkward situation, and at the moment, he wished to be anywhere but here.

Ok, now Tuffnut's sluggish brain understood what had happened. "I'm sorry, Elsa; you guys can get a divorce." Elsa slammed the door in his face and left.

"I'm leaving too." There was another door slam.

There remained Tuffnut and Chicken alone in his living room.

Tuffnut messed up.

Big time.

The car stopped in front of Astrid's house, and Elsa recklessly got out and banged on the door. "Hey, kid, how're you?"

"Uncle Finn, do you know where Astrid is?"

Finn, who was very much worried about her reaction, pointed upstairs. "Yeah, she's upstairs in her room."

Elsa hugged him quickly and ran up the stairs to her room. "Astrid, you wouldn't believe what happened."

Astrid shut the book she was reading and gave her full attention. "Are you ok?"

"You know how Tuff invited Jack and me to his apartment yesterday?"

"Yeah."

Elsa groaned and smacked herself, not believing it still. "He got Jack, and I married."

Complete pin-drop silence followed for a minute, and Astrid shrieked, "He did what?" Leave it to Elsa to get herself into weird situations, Astrid thought.

"So what are you going to do now?" Astrid tilted her head.

Dropping herself heavily, she sighed; and was confused herself. "I don't know...Divorce?"

For some reason, Astrid didn't like the thought of Elsa getting divorced, so she shook her head. "No." Then something clicked. "Oh, Thor Elsa, your flight's in an hour."

"Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit!" Clumsily she got herself off Astrid's bed, almost tripping but halted all of a sudden "You know what? I'm not going. It's too awkward between Jack and me with being...married...and all. I can't go to the wedding without my husband. They'll know I lied."

Astrid made an effort to explain, "And if you don't go, they'll think you lied too. Take Jack and solve this issue when you get back."

Comprehending her explanation, Elsa was getting a headache. "Ok, but I'm moving my ticket to tomorrow. I can't go today firstly because I'm hungover and secondly, because I have much to process."

A hug would show her some support. "Of course, whatever suits you, but please do go and take that goof with you."

Now that she felt relaxed, calling was proper, and she dialled the number. "Yes, I'd like to move my flight to tomorrow. Ahan. Yes, Elsa Arandelle and my flight is at 10 am today." There was a pause, and then Elsa yelled in small caps with gritted teeth, "I'm sorry, what?"

Astrid went into panic mode and stared at her best friend for any type of reaction that could tell her what was going on. "Elsa." She elbowed her in the rib.

Elsa slapped her hand on the phone ending the call by mistake, and told Astrid, "They're saying my name has changed; it's saying, Elsa Overland."

Astrid furrowed her eyebrows, attempting to put the puzzle together. "But you didn't file for a name change?"

The planet could've shifted from Elsa's cry, "Tuffnut!" Which wasn't the case, and she was wrong.

Right away, before Elsa could stomp out of the room in a fury to murder Tuffnut presumably, Astrid ceased her from doing so. "Thor Elsa, you're strong. Calm yourself down."

"Calm myself down? Calm myself down?" This made Astrid cringe. "That Nut didn't only get us married, but God knows how he filed for my name change." That remained a mystery to them, just like Elsa's marriage, because she remembers nothing of it.

Sighing very loudly that it echoed in the room, Astrid took Elsa's hand in hers. "Listen, you knucklehead; I know it sucks, and Thor does it suck, but you need to grab hold of yourself and go to the wedding. It's not only awkward for you but also Jack, and don't you forget that. He also had absolutely nothing to do with this, so don't blame him" She paused. "And I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's not even Tuff's fault. He's an idiot; that's what he does, but yeah, once you're back, definitely beat him up. Anyways all I'm saying is take Jack with you and act all lovey-dovey. Then come back, and we'll figure it out. Cool?"

Astrid panted for air after speaking so much, and Elsa nodded, thankful "Alright, so you're saying I should leave today as my original plan? But what if Jack doesn't show up?"

"Leave whenever you want to, but I can bet you billions, even though I don't have any; he'll show up, and Thor knows, maybe even with a ring."

Elsa boosted her eyebrow and looked at her funny "I've noticed you take his side a lot. It's like you can't think of him as doing anything negative."

Shrugging, she replied, "Jackson Overland is one of a kind. I can see why he's best friends with Hiccup. They both are very alike; nice, kind, funny, thoughtful, devoted, and, might I add, quite handsome. In frankness, we both got lucky."

No matter how much she pretended to be annoyed by Jack, Elsa knew this was true. "Yeah. So I'll leave today, but what if I have any issues on my way since my legal name has changed."

Astrid sheepishly grinned, and Elsa thought it was as if she got caught eating ice cream at night when Astrid wasn't supposed to, which according to Uncle Finn, happens often. "I might have received a message from Jack that he got all your licenses, passports, and everything else changed with the new name now. I didn't reply, but I read it when you know you were busy ranting to me about everything." There were so many questions, such as how did he even find her passport and licenses and whatnot, but that was for another time.

Now she understood why Astrid liked Jack so much. "He wants to make sure I never have trouble. But how so quick?"

"That guy's loaded; rich people can do anything and in no time." So only Elsa wasn't aware he was rich, that was embarrassing.

There was one favour she wanted from her biggest supporter "Astrid, can you please keep this whole marriage thing a secret and make sure Tuff suffers and doesn't spill the beans? I'll torture him more when I return." Astrid opened her mouth, and Elsa raised her hand. "Yes, you can tell it to Hiccup, but him and him only."

"Gotcha, and trust me, I'll make sure Tuff suffers while you're gone." After a few seconds, they began laughing out loud; no matter what, they loved Tuffnut to death. He was an adorable idiot who could do anything without a thought, and in all honesty, they knew it was Elsa's and Jack's fault for trusting him in the first place.

She checked the time on her phone and hesitated for a second but agreed, "Astrid, I'll take today's flight and your magical hangover remedy; an extra for Jack, too, please." Elsa felt confident that Jack would show up, as Astrid mentioned.

She snapped her fingers "On it, Mrs. Overland." And fled to get it for her from the kitchen, which they both drank a lot to cure their hangovers.

"Thanks." The first time Elsa didn't mind hearing that name because, wow, she actually was an Overland now, and for some unknown reason, it brought warmth to her.

Seated on the bed, Elsa looked around Astrid's room and saw all the pictures hanging above the single bed. Those were the memories she'll cherish forever.

Her sight stopped at the two packed bags in Astrid's room's corner. After packing, she brought everything over to Astrid's since she'll be giving her a ride to the airport. Elsa only wanted Astrid with her at the airport.

Wow, she was going to her parents; never in a million thoughts, had she imagined that. And she was married!

Not a fake but real marriage.

What had God planned for her?

A bag carrying two drinks was pushed into her lap. "Here, drink this; you both should be fine. Now let's leave. I don't want you to miss the flight."

"Thanks, Astrid."

Astrid whacked her shoulder. "What did I say about thanking me? There aren't any in friendships or better sisters."

Without staying for Elsa's reply, she picked up two bags and carried them down with no effort. "Damn, she's strong."

Elsa simply took down her backpack that she'll carry all the way to Iceland since it had all the necessities.

The ride to the airport was silent. Both girls had a lot going on in their minds. One couldn't comprehend that a few hours ago, she got married. The other was shocked that her best friend wasn't single anymore.

As if life wasn't complicated enough for them.

An hour-long drive went by a minute to them, maybe because of how busy their brains were. "And we're here." The car stopped in front of the airport entrance, and Astrid gave a sad smile.

Both friends had never been away from each other "I'll miss you, Astrid, and I'll still say you should come with us."

She wanted this, but she possibly couldn't. "Elsa, you need to face your family alone and show them you don't have to rely on anyone. Ironically since you're married now, but...Ugh! I don't know how to explain this." Astrid abruptly left the car and opened her trunk.

"Thanks for dropping me off, Astrid." She searched around.

And Astrid knew she was waiting for Jack. "He'll be here, don't worry."

Not agreeing, she shook her head. "Oh, I wasn't looking for him."

Astrid snorted. "Yeah, right!" She pulled out her bags and lowered them on the luggage cart in front of them. "Now go and call me when you land. Also, I need a message from you every day and spill the tea."

Chuckling, Elsa groaned, grabbing the cart's handle. "Ok, Mom."

Maybe this was unexpected "I'll miss you." Elsa was yanked in a bear hug.

The departing girl couldn't help but cry at the sentiment, "I'll miss you too." This brought tears to her eyes, but it was not like she was going forever, so she rolled her eyes. "It's only for two weeks, you big sap."

Astrid wiped her nose and punched her shoulder. "I'm serious when I say I expect a message every day."

Elsa was definitely not threatened by her but wholly moved. "You got it, Milady."

"Ok, now shoo...fly away...and let me know when you land." Astrid gave Elsa another hug, but this time not that tight and pushed her towards the entrance with the cart.

Only laughing in exchange, she yelled as she entered, "I love you!"

Astrid heard another yell from afar as the automatic doors shut behind her. "I love you more!"

When Elsa entered, she was panicking because, so far, there was no sign of Jack. He was nowhere to be found, and it got her thinking if he would even show up. But as Astrid promised her that Jackson Overland would unquestionably show up, she attempted to calm herself down.

There was a ping-pong match going on in her head. Her thoughts were jumping back and forth. Maybe he'll show up, or perhaps he won't.

"Ah!" Elsa shrieked when a cold hand landed on her bare shoulder.

The person came around her face-to-face and touched her cheek. "It's only me, Elsa."

And she was thunderstruck for a long pause because it was unbelievable. "You're really here?"

"We had a commitment, didn't we? And believe me, your majesty, I never break a promise." He bowed to her to make her smile.

An unexpected reaction was thrown Jack's way "Thank you for coming."

Though he worshipped holding her, he peeked into her eyes, those breathtaking eyes. "Why wouldn't I, Elsa?" The way he said her name did unexplainable things to her heart.

"Oh...No...I...It's-" After the stuttering ceased, she hurried the words out. "-After yesterday, I thought it'd be awkward with us getting married, you know."

Now he understood for some reason; he had forgotten about it; her hugs were enchanting. "Don't fret about it; we'll solve the issue once we return. Anyways here is your passport and the rest." He moved his hand around in the fluffy brown jacket pocket, looking for the items.

Elsa gently took them from his hands, and their hands touched momentarily, spending sparks above the spines. "Thank you, but you didn't have to."

"I simply didn't want it to cause any problems along the way." He turned away from her, concealing his expression.

This truly wasn't necessary, and what problems would it cause anyway? Her brain wondered.

But the heart had a different thought. Was he dying to give me his last name and make me his?

Elsa jiggled her head, dusting the thoughts away. "Thank you anyway, and you're right; we'll solve the issue once we're back; for now, we're going as friends, and you're my...ah." Fake husband, that's what she had wished to say but didn't because it was real now, on papers.

Jack snapped his fingers, recalling something, and once again dug his hand into the pockets. "Here!"

It was a box.

A beautiful white box.

"Huh?" Puzzled.

He facepalmed and opened the box with a perfect 'click' and showed it to her. "These are for us."

There were two stunning rings in it, and Elsa, a big fan of jewellery, knew how expensive they must be.

They were wedding rings—a matching her/his set.

One for Jack, was a simple band split in black and the darkest blue you could find.

And for her, Elsa Overland, was an elegant princess-cut sapphire diamond ring.

After a remarkably long minute, she gulped and waved her hands in his face against this. "Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, Jack, this looks very expensive, and there's absolutely no need at all for this." In her mind, she was cursing or maybe thanking Astrid for being right.

Jack was devastated; well, it wasn't like he spent hours online and then at places looking for the ideal ring for Elsa. "I insist." He wanted to say so much before, but he couldn't.

He bought the rings soon after her met her as he knew she was the one.

The determined look on Jack's face, who was willing to fight till the end, made Elsa sigh in defeat. "But I'm giving it back as soon as we return."

A piece of him broke at the thought, but he nodded, "Alright." He placed his bag on Elsa's cart and held it for her. "Now take it."

The sapphire ring slid on her ring finger such smoothly and fit perfectly as of it was made for her. "It fits."

Jack bit the insides of his cheek from almost spilling; he took one of Elsa's rings with him to find the perfect size. "It's shocking!"

Giving him a doubtful look, Elsa smiled. "Thanks. It makes it more believable with the rings."

"No problem." He checked his watch and smiled back. "As much as I love talking to you, Your Majesty, we need to go."

And so they did. Jack gave Elsa her passport with her changed legal name, and once again, she had numerous questions but let them go worrying it might provoke an issue between them.

First, they checked in for their flight.

Then they handed over four luggage bags that must go into the aircraft hold.

Soon they passed through the airport security gates to the departure hall.

They found their boarding gate and had to wait for a few minutes as they were right on time, not too early, not too late.

Finally, they boarded the plane.

Elsa was flabbergasted, to say the least, because she had not paid attention to where they were going. "A freaking first class! This is ridiculous, Jackson!" Soon he realised that whenever he got in trouble, he'd be called 'Jackson', and his name had never sounded prettier before.

With two carryons, he shrugged as they walked towards their seats. "Only the best for my wife." He had secretly upgraded the seats to first class for more comfort just for her

She blushed, listening to his comment, "I'm not your wife. Elsa works fine."

Clumsily he fell to his seat and held out his hand for Elsa. "No, you're my wife until we return, so you have to deal with this and believe me, Your Majesty, I'm not planning to stop anytime soon."

Elsa clasped his hand and sat in her seat elegantly. "Jackson Overland, just you wait and watch."

"I reckon you'll call me by my full name when I'm in trouble." He smirked at her; the entirety of him loved this fact.

With an eyebrow brought up, she challenged him. "And should I not?"

He folded a hair strand behind her face, resisting the urge to hold her face. "My love, I'm yours and yours only do whatever you want and call me whatever you want."

"So I will. I want to sleep now; wake me up in an hour."

He beamed and opened a packed thin blanket to cover her with "Sleep well." And within a blink, she was asleep. Boy, she was fatigued.

The time held still, and he examined her; she was exquisite. The captivating platinum sloppy hair bun and the few strands dangling covered her face. Yes, he had looked at many girls before, but Elsa...she moved him.

God made her with extra attention and devotion.

She was flawless.

And even the idea of someone making fun of her for her features wanted to rip them apart. Now that she was his wife, he wanted to cut them into pieces. He had gotten this impulse to be more protective of her.

Jack inclined her seat back and turned the temperature down as she felt calm in the cold. This was the reason why he upgraded to First Class so that she could be at ease.

Only knowing her for two days, he had realised she had a soft and loving heart. How could someone hurt her?

How dare they?

He completely turned into nearly a fetus position and glimpsed at her. The seatbelt made it hard, and it was very uneasy, but because he was looking at The Elsa Overland, the pain faded away. Like him, she was in a fetus potion, but her knees connected to her chin, and she had plugged out the seat belt to be more comfortable.

Jack felt her rosy cheeks with the back of his hand and traced her jawline. He ran his finger on her eyebrow, and the softness of her hair shook him. Then he tucked the strands of hair behind her ear to take a perfect look at her face.

He inhaled a bit loudly, and she stirred in sleep. This was perfection.

He knew now that for sure he, Jackson Overland, had fallen in love with his wife, Elsa Overland.

But why so fast will remain a mystery to him.
