Author's note- You know I haven't even watched this show in years and stopped around volume 5 at that so kinda weird that I still haunt this fandom for good fics, seems to get a lot of yandere stuff for some reason...or at least it did. Come on guys let's tighten up so I don't have to randomly revive a story that's been dead for like a year, yandere content is always slim pickings but surely we can do better than whatever nonsense I'm about to throw out.

If there was one thing Blake could be known for other than having the charm of a wet paper towel it would be her patience. Many of her "acts to provoke thoughts on faunus rights" in the past had required months of planning in advance and her more recent activities on the other side of the law had a similar requirement of discretion.

"How about now?" Jaune asked as he slightly shimmied a bit to move his arm to limply hang across Blake's midsection.

That patience was being tested, and it was about to fail. One of the many qualities Blake loved about Jaune was his, frankly put, sheer incompetence when it came to the opposite sex but it turns out the charm of that wears off when actually trying to get into his pants. "Jaune..." Blake started as she began to feel one of her eyes twitch "maybe I should take the lead here."

"Oh ummm...okay." Jaune weakly replied, a mix of shame due to his disappointing performance and worry of how exactly Blake would escalate the situation. He had been a bit hasty in accepting to help her with the whole heat situation, partly due to how little choice he really had in the matter, but now that they were alone in the room the gravity of the situation was fully dawning on him. He wouldn't say he had anything against Blake but the truth of the matter was he didn't have that much of an opinion of her at all, his knowledge of her began and ended with "Yang's melancholic partner who also happened to be a former terrorist". Now of course he was willing to build a friendship with her but booking a room in some shady love hotel may have been skipping a few steps on the path to that friendship.

"Trust me, it'll be better for both of us this way." Blake reassured as she turned over to face Jaune, throwing a leg over him in the process.

"R-right." Jaune weakly offered as he felt his head begin to heat due to the sudden increase of skinship, which was only the beginning as Blake wasted no time at all to use that leg to pull them tighter together. He gulped as her arms snaked around his body to embrace him in a tight hug as she locked eyes with him, faces only inches apart now.

"Now see? This is what I classify as cuddling." She informed with a tone that was a mix of sultriness' and scolding. "Not whatever garbage you were trying to serve up for the last 30 minutes."

"Sorry?" Jaune weakly offered even though he wasn't fully convinced he was at fault. "It's just...you know..."

"I don't." Blake answered in her usual charming way.

Jaune sighed slightly, not noticing the discreet inhale Blake did in response to capture any of his exhaled breath, before elaborating. "Look I know you need help with beating the heat but this is just...weird."

"Is it so weird for friends to help friends?" Blake continued to stare directly into his eyes, which did nothing to make the conversation less awkward for him.

Jaune cringed a bit at the question, wondering if he should ask the question that's been bothering him this whole time. "Well no, but..."

"But?" She egged him on.

"Well Blake...are we really friends?" Jaune asked nervously, not wanting to offend her.

To her credit Blake didn't seem the least bit offended by the question. "What do you think?" She asked in a neutral tone, which for all intents and purposes was just as bad for Jaune as an angry one.

Feeling the pressure, both from her unwavering gaze and having the spotlight thrown on him, Jaune made sure to measure his response carefully. "Well...I mean we kinda have the same circle of friends but you and I don't ever really seem to directly communicate so...I'd say we're kind of acquaintances at best."

"So you're nervous about sharing a bed with me because you don't view us as friends?" Blake kept her tone neutral.

Jaune wasn't really sure but he'd imagine technically speaking he would be more comfortable sharing the bed with a friend like Pyrrah than a stranger...or at least he would have been prior to recent events. "Well...I guess that's kind of the gist, sure."

"So you'd be comfortable sharing a bed with a friend, say Ruby perhaps?" Blake asked with an eerie calmness.

The sudden bringing up of his just recently made former girlfriend caused a bit of a chill to coarse through Jaune. "I..."

Blake continued however before Jaune could answer the question. "Because you know she mentioned something that I have to admit really caught my interest earlier today." Jaune felt the grip on his back tighten ever so slightly. "She let slip that you two may be a bit more than friends." Blake had a dangerous glint in her eyes as she finished. "Any truth to that?"

Jaune did notice the change in atmosphere but with Blake's hands pressing against his back and her leg still firmly wrapped around his waist it seemed academic. He pondered over her slight change of mood and line of questioning for a bit before realizing the situation. "Oh oum...Blake..."

"Yes?" She asked tersely.

"You really are a good person you know?" He offered with a warm smile, fully realizing what this whole heat situation was really about.

Blake blinked owlishly, not adverse to receiving praise from her beloved by any means but still hopelessly confused on what warranted it. "...what?"

"You mentioned something about faking how bad your heat was to test me earlier right? Well that got me thinking, just how much of your heat are you faking?" Jaune asked rhetorically, playing the part of a great detective who was explaining to their nemesis the flaws in their master plan.

A pit was beginning to form in Blake's stomach, but the only thing that relayed this information to the outside world was a slight widening of the eyes and pursing of her lips into a thin line.

Jaune continued to break down Blake's plan for her. "So you heard that me and Ruby we're together and decided to put me to the test huh?" He asked with an all knowing smile "you came to me with a situation too good to be true for a hot blooded male to see if I really was as honest as I always tell you guys I am?"

Blake blinked a few more times as the gears in her head churned.

"You did all this with Ruby in mind, to see if I was a good man for her...your first thought when you heard about us was to look after her huh?" Jaune gave her a warm smile as he continued to praise her. "Like I said, we don't know each other as well as we should so it's only natural you'd be wary... not only do I get it but I totally respect it." A forlorn look took over. "All that said though...I hate to say that things between me and Ruby didn't...well they didn't really work out." Jaune jolted a bit as another thought came across his mind "and I know that may sound like an excuse but honest, me and Ruby aren't together anymore so I'm not betraying her trust or anything like that, though you may think that's a bit convenient huh?" Jaune continued before Blake could even answer, not that she'd be capable because she was still listening with a glazed look in her eyes. "But I really do swear that, so while this whole test of yours may be kind of pointless in that sense it still does prove one thing...to me."

Blake reeled back a bit as Jaune reached behind him to grab one of her hands, bringing it front of them to give a reassuring grasp, she looked at the grasped hands and back to Jaune's face all while maintaining the same blank façade as she absorbed all the information.

Jaune gave her a bright smile "Blake, you really are a great person and moving forward from this I'd love to be able to call myself your friend!"

Blake felt the pit in her stomach disappear, being entirely overwritten by a new sensation...located due south. She pulled away from Jaune and laid on her back as she began to pant. "Oh oum...oh sweet Oum." She muttered between ragged breaths.

Jaune was puzzled at her sudden change in posture. "Blake?"

Her breathing became more ragged, to the point you could see the air she exhaled. "By everything I hold dear Jaune...you" she turned to look at him, with an entirely different type of dangerous glint in her eyes. "you are so fucking stupid."

Before Jaune could respond in anyway Blake had lunged towards him, holding his wrists while she straddled him.

There was a crazed look in her eyes as she continued, her switch completely flipped. "and I'll be fucking stupid." She accentuated her claim with a firm grind against Jaune's little Jaune.

"BLAKE?!" Jaune tried again, still confused but now also just a bit scared. He attempted to move his arms a bit but they hardly budges, she truly had him pinned. "W-was I wrong about the heat thing being a lie...did I say something offensive?"

She mewled in response of Jaune still not grasping the situation, it seemed before now even she didn't fully grasp just how much stupidity in a man got her engine purring. She recalled Adam, for all his faults, being anything but stupid so perhaps she was subconsciously looking for the complete opposite in a man given how her relationship with the terrorist leader had ended? Or maybe the simple truth is it just added to Jaune's helpless demeanor, he was prey that didn't even realize he was prey. She licked her lips as she gazed down upon her stupid little piece of meat. "Yes Jaune, you were completely wrong about me not being in heat...and I think I'll just have to prove that to you." She leaned forward a bit, her hot breath washing across Jaune's face as she spoke. "Can't have you going around making insensitive comments about faunus after all." She gave Jaune's face a quick lap with her tongue.

Jaune had the appearance of a mouse, the least helpful image he could be giving off now, as he offered an apology. "S-Sorry."

Blake had begun to move in for a kiss. "Don't worry, I'll find plenty of ways for you to make it up to me." Before she could capture his lips however her ears twitched, which was quickly followed by the door to their room flying off the hinges. True to her feline nature she jolted in response to the noise, shooting up into the air nearly 2 feet as all her muscles tensed.

Jaune let out a meek squeak in response to the second destruction of a door he witnessed today as he made the most of his freedom to put a little distance between him and Blake, not much however has she had quickly recovered and latched onto his wrist as she glared at the interruptions.

"Heya Blake, how's it Yangin?" Her partner had been the first to speak, giving her a little wave. "Fancy meeting you here right?" She continued as if she had bumped into her at a mall, not waiting for an answer however as her eyes quickly focused on Jaune. "and you too lover-boy." She gave Jaune a little smirk when he gave a choked noise as a response. "I'd ask if the cat's got your tongue but looks like I got here just in time huh?"

"We" Ruby corrected as she had made her way from behind her sister to scurry into view. "got here just in time!" Continuingly annoyed at the lack of appreciation for group effort her two allies had. She gave her sister a mix of a scowl and pout before she too focused on Jaune. "Operation codename: No milk for kitty is a success!" She beamed.

Pyrrha could be seen behind the two sisters, but she curiously chose not to say a word as she simply unblinkingly stared at Blake. Blake for her part held this gaze for a whole second before submitting to the pressure and returning her attention to her team members, she could still feel her eyes burrowing into her though.

"Don't be too sure about that." Blake challenged, or rather bluffed, as she measured her odds. In a 1v1 with her partner she was sure she would be able to get the upper hand, just barely though. Throwing Ruby into that equation as well would need a perfect mix of strategic thinking and miracles to even have a chance of victory. Taking Pyrrha into account as well however and Blake knew she was well and truly fucked, and not in the way she was hoping for.

"But I am though!" Ruby cutely replied. "In fact, we did some talking when we first got here and out of the kindness of our hearts we decided to give you a chance before things get...well, bad." She nodded towards Pyrrha. "Just a heads up though, it wasn't unanimous."

"Oh?" Blake growled as she narrowed her eyes. "and what would this chance be?"

Yang continued where her sister had left off. "Four minutes."

Blake blinked a few times. "Four minutes?"

"Yep." Yang responded with a pop. "It took some serious convincing but me and Rubes managed to get you four whole minutes, I mean what are partners for right?"

"Four minutes of what?" Blake hissed, annoyed at the lack of clarification.

For the first time since the conversation began, Pyrrha spoke. "Time." She said while maintaining the same stare she had been giving Blake since they had arrived.

Blake caught on to the implication. "Ah." She did her best to hide the fact but she felt a very real twinge of fear. "and what would I do in these four-

"Two now." Yang corrected as she tapped her wrist.

"Two minutes." Blake finished as she once again glanced at the Spartan only for a moment.

"Well for starters you're gonna have to let go of Jaune!" Ruby commanded. "I mean look how much you're scaring him!"

Blake turned her attention to the knight to see that he did indeed looked petrified, which would do a bit to explain his silence this entire time...she questioned if all things considered she was to blame. She made no move to release him however "and?"

Ruby gave her a glare, though it did little to intimidate. "and leave Jaune alone."

Yang added onto this. "At least until the four of us have a little chat back at Beacon."

Ruby heard the sound of a fist clenching behind them. "Yang! Don't bring that up, not now!"

Yang for her part actually did seem a little regretful. "Oh yeah...sorry." She apologized, both to Ruby for mucking up the plan a little and Blake for bringing her closer to destruction.

Blake gasped a bit as if she had a realization. "S-So if I let Jaune go you'll spare me...truthfully?" This was her chance, and she would not miss it.

Ruby gave Blake a reassuring smile, while truth be told she wasn't happy with Blake given her recent antics she didn't wish an enraged Pyrrha on anyone. "Yeah, just let go of Jaune and we can put all of this be-

"DAGA KOTOWARU!" Blake suddenly screamed while she shimmied around to sit in a odd way with a smirk on her face.

The smile faded from Ruby's face, replaced with a look of confusion and fear. She had no idea what Blake had just said but it was clearly not the right move. "B-Blake..."

Blake continued to smirk, this was her chance to use line number four she always wanted to say in real life and she would not miss it. "If there's one thing that I, Blake Belladonna, love more than anything it's te-GAGh!" Regrettably Blake did not get the chance to finish the line she was so excited for, because without so much as a grunt Pyrrha stormed forward and proceeded to wring her neck. Blake could only thrash around weakly as she felt the two hands on her neck effortlessly lift her off the bed and into the air, she looked down through tears at the spartan as she sputtered for air.

"Time's up." Pyrrha told her while staring back at her expressionless.

"AH!" Ruby worriedly screamed. "Non lethal, NON LETHAL!" She tried to remind to Pyrrha, who only grunted in response.

"What do you think Blake, should I spare you?" Pyrrha calmly asked as if she wasn't chocking the life out of someone.

"GRRK!" Was the best response Blake could muster.

"She doesn't seem to have an opinion on the matter." Pyrrha informed Ruby.

Speechless Ruby turned to Yang for help, who only seemed mildly concerned for her partner, none the less she also attempted to appeal to Pyrrha's better nature. "Come on fridge magnet, who knows how many of her nine lifes she's already used at this point."

Pyrrha paid no mind to the offensive nickname or the dumb quip about cats, what happened next however did get a reaction.

"P-Pyrrha..." Jaune asked while essentially pawing at his partner. "Put her down...please?" He begged.

Pyrrha felt something in her core twinge at the pleading look in Jaune's eyes and took a mental note of how good he looked helpless before she finally relented. With a sigh she did indeed put Blake down...roughly.

Blake let out another sputtered noise as her body was slammed against the floor, where she laid defeated and motionless in the crater formed by the sudden impact. Yang gave a whistle before she walked up to her defunct partner and placed a finger against her neck checking for a pulse, she looked up with a satisfied smile and gave the room a thumbs up.

Ruby sighed in relief, knowing that the property damage they had caused would be enough to explain without adding a murder charge to the mix. "Guess that's that then...we'll have to carry her back now though."

Yang was already scooping her partner off the floor, who gave a groan in response, and responded. "Yeah yeah, I'm on it." She sighed as she slung Blake over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes, which at this point she represented. "I'll tell you one thing, and I'm not ashamed to say it, my estimation of Blake Belladonna as a huntress just fucking plummeted." As a partner she couldn't help but take a little hit to her pride to just how easily Blake was thrashed.

Pyrrha at this time was now eying up Jaune. "If you'd like Jaune I could carry you back as well."

Jaune blushed at the offer. He probably should be a bit worried given just how hard Blake had been dealt with but on the other hand they did technically save him...that wasn't going to stop him from being just a bit wary however. "N-No thanks, I can walk." He said while getting off the bed to prove the point, putting a little distance between him and Pyrrha as he did so. She only gave a disappointed and cute frown in response before he continued. "So uhhh...you guys seem to be getting along a bit better." He looked at the three huntresses who just a few hours ago were at each other's throats.

Yang shimmied past him, dragging her free hand across his shoulder and chest as she did so. "Yeah we got to talking when you left and turns out we all have a lot in common, who knew?"

Pyrrha grumbled slightly before walking up to put a reassuring hand on Jaune's shoulder. "Yes...the details are still being ironed out but it's safe to say the three of us have reached an understanding." There was something almost menacing about the way she enunciated the word "details" but Jaune still felt relieved to hear that the three were getting along now...completely unaware of what it meant for him.

Ruby gave Jaune a look that could only be classified as "unrubylike" before she spoke. "Mmmhmmm, and I think the three of us will only get closer from now on."

"That's...great?" Jaune offered, he truly had no idea the future the three were implying.

"It will be." The three answered at the same time.

Ending note- For all intents and purposes picture Blake in the Yamcha pose after Pyrrha was done with her. So yeah took a bit for this chapter to come out but on the plus side long breaks between chapters gives me time to consoom media to mindlessly regurgitate in the fic right? So that's a plus

Next chapter incoming who knows when, peace.
