Wyper's POV

We took the Shark Sub deeper inland and docked it in a cove so that we could get into town.

"That's quite the intimidating mask." Brook said.

"Oh, this old thing, I've had it for years." I said "I actually was wearing this the first time I met the others and I tried to sink their ship."

"This is an infiltration mission that backpack is too large." Pedro warned.

"It's got my new secret weapon in it." I smiled "I've been working on this bad boy since we left Dressrosa so I'm not risking leaving it behind. Besides right now it's barley bigger than a barrel it's fine, let's head into town."

We went in, as subtly as possible though Brook had his whole face wrapped up in a cloth.

"Oh, the local paper this should be interesting." Brook grabbed a copy "Hmm?"

"What is it?"

"Well it says here that Jinbei did something for Big Mom then tried to leave and it caused a ruckus." He said.

"You know the ex-warlord?" Pedro asked.

"Well he's a friend of our captains." I said "but this article makes him sound so cowardly, something's up."

"Look here." Pedro pointed in a window.

Inside Pudding was there, trying on dresses and stuff.

"Seems like she can't get away from those handlers." He said.

"Well then there's no way she met up with the others." I said.

"Then Sanji likely doesn't even know we're here." Brook added "But then who was at the coast?"

"Luffy probably saw someone else and jumped to conclusions." I groaned.

"Baron." someone walked up to the man inside who had incredibly long thin legs "Regarding the recent docking of the Strawhats' ship at the Chocolate Island, we've received intel that Sir Pekoms was not on board when it set sail."

"What don't these people already know?!" Brook whisper yelled.

"We've also confirmed that the Strawhats have entered the Seducing Wood, capturing them is a foregone conclusion. That being said there were some members missing, the War Demon, Soul King and a Leopard Mink."

"How do they know so much?" I hissed.

"That's not a leopard, it's a Jaguar Mink by the name of Pedro." The Baron said.

"Are you an acquaintance of his?" the soldier asked.

"Something like that." The man adjusted his hat "I have an idea where they might be but for now please focus on other things."

"This is really bad." I said "They know every move we're making before we make it."

Monet's POV

"Let me go you moron!" Nami snapped "What's wrong with you."

"Well I figured if I caught all these copies of you guys then I'd figure something out." Luffy said.

"A larger sample size helps." I said "I'd wager these creatures have our appearance thanks to some trick of that Mirror woman we fled from."

"We have Luffy so let's just go save Chopper and Carrot." Nami said.

"Hold on rushing in foolishly like that will only get the three of us captured with them." I said "We only escaped with the use of Chopper's monster form and my White Out ability to cover our escape from Brulee. If we foolishly keep running around the forest with no plan, we'll simply end up doing what Big Mom wants us to and wander around these woods aimlessly."

"Well now what, the only other option is this stupid giant head guy!" Nami said.

"Uh-oh Nami's mad." Luffy laughed.

"Focus you idiot!" Nami snapped.

"Mr. Giant Head." I fixed my glasses "Are you an ally of the mirror woman?"

"Allies no." he said "Though calling us enemies wouldn't be right either. I can explain more if you just get me some of that juice-."

"No time!" Luffy huffed.

"Tell us what you know and we will provide you a drink." I nodded.

"Well…he seems strong…her not so much."

"HEY!" Nami pouted "I'm strong!"

"As am I." I said "Though fighting isn't my forte."

"Well that reindeer didn't seem strong but then he was so I guess looks are deceiving." He agreed "Still he got swarmed by the trees."

"Now that you mention it, they stopped chasing me after a while." Nami hummed "When we were running around it was like they would only attack Monet."

"Fortunate I think given they had no way to damage my snow body." I smiled "Though I've never heard of earth and flora moving like this."

"Well in Totto Land every six months a citizen is required to pay the toll." The head said "A month's worth of their Soul's energy in exchange for the safety provided by this nation."

"Soul?"

"They give up two months of their lifespan every year." He said.

"But how?" Nami said "You can't just take a piece of a soul it's not a tangible object you can't cut it like a pie."

"Well you see Linlin…err Big Mom has the power of the Soul-Soul fruit." Head explained "She is able to freely interact with souls as if they were real true objects, it's with that power that she takes a person's time. Then she sprinkles those human souls around the island, once those soul pieces land on something that thing becomes 'humanized'. It doesn't work on other people or corpses only objects or animals. So those guys there landed in those trees which is why they move and talk, they call them Homies."

"Now that I think about it the Chocolate town had living objects too like the flying carpet." I said
"And if they can land in animals that would explain that talking crocodile from the bridge."

"What a troublesome power." Nami bit her lip "It's gonna be a pain to deal with."

"So then what are these?" Luffy asked gesturing to all the copies of use thrashing around.

"Well those are just animals disguised with Brulee's ability."

"Why didn't you say that sooner!" Luffy yelled tugging the man's cheeks.

"I didn't want to get involved."

"Then why bury yourself here?" Nami asked.

"Yeah who are you anyway?!" Luffy yelled.

"There's no reason to scream." I laughed a bit.

"Well a long time ago, way in the past, I was once the husband of Charlotte Linlin, Big Mom. I gave her two daughters and then she threw me to the curb." He said "As for why I never get attacked, well no one really cares is all."

"Hey now…"

"AH!" the man was suddenly lifted out of the ground with one pull.

"With how big his head was I figured he'd be a giant but he's really not that big!" Nami said.

"What are you doing giving all that intel to the enemies you fool?" A large man in armor made out of biscuits and other hard grain foods appeared.

"Cracker?!" the man yelled "I need to speak to Linlin, I heard Chiffon got married I need to see her and congratulate her. And Lola too, I heard she ran away but-."

"Lola…" Nami paused "No…"

"Nami?"

"It's just…" Nami paused "Lola…and she ran away. There's no way, Lola's mom is Big Mom?! And this weird guy is her dad?!"

"CAW!"

"There's no time that crane is back!" Luffy yelled "The rabbit too."

"Igloo-!"

"Stop Randolph!" Cracker yelled and suddenly the bird took a sharp turn and crashed into the ground, the trees around us withering away and dying as well.

"Haki?" Luffy wondered.

"One of the three Sweet Commanders is here." The trees and flowers shudder.

They're afraid of him, aren't they on the same side?

"You've sure got some nerve Randolph." Cracker said "Cutting in on my party right in front of me."

"He made me do it." The rabbit pointed at the crane.

"You liar!" the bird yelped.

"This guy…" Luffy paused "He's definitely strong."

"Strawhat Luffy, the man who brought down Doflamingo, Mama is a woman who always seizes opportunity." He said "Since Brulee would end up with her hands full she sent me."

"I take offense to that brother." Brulee appeared riding on a massive tree "If she had wanted it, I could have slaughtered him in an instant."

"No one ever targeted by this forest has left alive." The tree said.

"Yeah whatever we don't have time for your games." Cracker said "Tomorrow afternoon, all the Vinsmokes will be at Whole Cake Chateau. The union Mama seeks, the military might and research of Germa 66 will soon be complete."

"Luffy!"

"Chopper!" we looked towards the sound of the voice only to find it coming from a Mirror Brulee was holding.

"See I already caught these two!" Brulee laughed "What do you think of that."

"She captured them both in a mirror." I hummed "strange."

"I've got them in the palm of my hand." She threw the mirror down and shattered it.

"Chopper! Carrot!"

"We're okay!" Chopped said, his eye appearing in one of the shards "We didn't get shattered…wait a second. This place isn't like the outside it's all different there's a world on the other side of the mirror."

"Right so you'll be okay." Luffy nodded "Then…"

"HMPH!"

He jumped up and slammed into Cracker "I'll deal with this guy!"

"Come on!" Nami ran up the large man "We need to go Mister…"

"Pound."

"Let's go!" Nami said.

"Capture them!" the trees snapped back to life.

"Hang on I know it's in here somewhere…" Nami reached into her bra "Yes!"

"A Vivre card?" I raised an eyebrow "Why is it-AH!"

The card let off a dazzling light and blinded the living objects back.

"Nami what is that?" I asked.

"This is a Vivre card I got from my friend Lola all the way back on Thriller Bark two years ago. I'm not certain it belongs to Big Mom but she said it was her mother's."

"Why won't you attack her!" Brulee snapped.

"We…we can't!" the tree said "Homies can't oppose that girl, not when she has a fragment of Mama's powerful soul."

"I see, since a Vivre card holds a small portion of one's essence this card must project some sort of Big Mom aura that they can't get through. Fascinating!" I said.

"HMPH!"

"Luffy?!" Nami gasped as the boy flew back and crashed into a tree.

"I'm fine!" he jumped up "This guy…"

"One becomes two…two becomes three…" Cracker walked up sporting additional arms all holding multiple shields and swords "You're not gonna interrupt Mama's big ceremony."

"Luffy you can't blow all your energy here we need to get out of this forest and get Sanji." Nami said.

"Not go all out, I don't know any other way." He smiled.

"Dammit." Nami hissed "I knew I should have dragged Steve with us to keep him in line!"

"They're quite close, aren't they?" I smiled as Luffy rushed back in and blew his arm up.

"Without Steve Luffy becomes a brash bull-headed moron who never stops to think for a second." Nami explained "He can keep him in line when it gets serious and Steve…without Luffy he becomes a silent wreck, he'll try not to show it but without him around there's a certain happiness missing from him. They need each other."

"GAH!" Luffy got sent flying with a sword jab.

"This guy is strong. We're…screwed." Nami gulped

"You don't see to understand the position you're in." Brulee said "All of the worst generation seem to think themselves too important but they wander into our territory and end up running scared. Bege, Apoo, Urouge and Kidd they all suffered a similar reality check, Urouge was the only one to even make a dent, he took down one Sweet Commander and got put in his place."

She transformed into a mirror and landed at our feet.

"This is a place of shattered dreams, where you rookies realize just how fierce the New World is." She said "Worst Generation, Warlords, they're all a joke compared to the crew of one of the Four Emperors! You've yet to see how your fate is sealed!"

"AH!" Nami yelled as she reached out of the mirror and grappled her ankles.

"Nami!"

"Get off her!" Pound slammed his fist down.

"Well now Pound, you've really gone and done it now!" she laughed.

"Snow Rabbit!"

"Thunderbolt Tempo!"

The attacks collided and blew the woman away.

"She can appear anywhere there's a mirror, we need to be careful." Pound said "But are you really friends with Lola?"

"Yes, no doubt." Nami smiled "And this card proves Big Mom is her mom."

"What should we do about Luffy?" I asked "Can he really handle Cracker alone?"

"Relax, I'll deal with him." A voice said.

NO POV

"You're pathetic, what would you even do if you reached Sanji?" Cracker stared down at Luffy "he's a prince from a rich country, he'll look at you and say 'you disgust me pirate scum."

"Don't put words in Sanji's mouth!"

"Why shouldn't I." Cracker laughed "Clearly you can't stop me."

"What the hell are you doing you damn moron!"

Suddenly a blasted of purple flames shot out and slammed into Cracker.

"GET UP!" Steve snapped "LUFFY!"

"Huh?"

"I didn't fly after you for days to see you get your ass kicked by this loser!" he yelled "Now are we gonna fight or not?!"

"Right!" he stood up "Why are you here?!"

"I'll explain later." Steve walked up "But the others are fine, I just figured you might still need my help, this is Big Mom after all."

"Yeah, sorry I wasn't being serious." He said.

"It's fine." Steve put the hat back on Luffy's head "Well now it's been a while since we fought together."

"You two…" Cracker growled.

"Still think you can keep up?" Steve smirked.

"I was gonna ask you the same thing." Luffy smiled.

"FOURTH GEAR!"

"DEMON BODY!"
