Over six months had passed since Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora and their Digimon partners had returned from their adventures in Witchelny, six months since the four Digidestined and their Digimon partners had parted ways with the friends and allies they had made from the various dimensions after saving the mystical Digital World from the machinations of the Primordial of Death, Mortismon, and the fury of the fallen counterparts of Davis Motomiya and Kari Kamiya.
In the time that had passed, life had quickly returned to normal for the eight heroes and heroines, though their time together in Witchelny had brought them closer to one another, even allowing the romances that started in Witchelny to grow and blossom.
With The Digidestined of Courage, Tai Kamiya, after returning to the Real World, he soon moved in with Sora, this not only allowing the pair to continue in their loving relationship, but to also express their more physical love in privacy.
Following in the lead of their partners, Agumon and Biyomon remained close to one another, the love between the Digimon of Courage and of Love only growing.
Feeling as their experiences and confronting their dark counterparts helped bring them closer, Davis and Kari spent a lot more time with one another, the pair nearly inseparable as the lovers enjoyed their time together, whether it was on dates or just spending time home and relaxing within one another in each other's embrace, experiences often mirrored by Veemon and Gatomon as the two enjoyed the love they now shared.
Despite how peaceful their lives had now become none of the former Heroes of Witchelny would ever forget their adventure or the friends they made, and remained hopeful that one day, they would see them all again.
Currently, Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, Veemon, Gatomon, Agumon and Biyomon were within the Digital World, the small group bypassing through the woods and on their way to meet up with a handful of their fellow Digidestined for a gathering.
This was also a way for the Digidestined and Digimon of Hope, TK Takaishi and Patamon to reunite after living in Paris for over five years and to catch up with their friends once again.
Arriving at the picnic sight they had set up in a small and secluded clearing within the woods, the heroes and heroines of Witchelny smiled to see several of their friends already present, this including the Digidestined of Knowledge, Izzy Izumi, and his partner, Tentomon, the Digidestined of Sincerity, Mimi Tachikawa, and her Digimon partner, Palmon, as well as Yolei Inoue and Cody Hida, who were respectively joined by their partners, Hawkmon and Armadillomon.
While their presence would be missed, the Digidestined knew their friends, the Digidestined of Friendship, Matt Ishida, the Digidestined of Reliability, Joe Kido and the Digidestined of Kindness, Ken Ichijoji, had prior plans and obligations, commitments they couldn't break from.
And though they had the chance, Gabumon, Gomamon and Wormmon all remained loyal and stayed with their partners, aiding and assisting in any way they could.
With most of the Digidestined now counted for, the arriving group began to chat, making small talk amongst themselves, until all heard Yolei express her familiar excitement and to then call and grab their attention.
"Guys!" The Digidestined of Love and Sincerity called happily as she waved to the new arrivals, greeting them, before Mimi joined Yolei in greeting their friends.
"Over here!" The pink haired Digidestined called with her own familiar and welcoming kindness within her voice as Sora and Kari waved back to them, both having their other arms wrapped around the chests of their beloved boyfriends as the pair remained in their lovers' embraces.
Watching the love between their friends caused Mimi and Yolei to swoon, the purple haired Digidestined wishing that Ken was there so she could cuddle with her own boyfriend.
Mimi, meanwhile, glanced over to Izzy, who was in the middle of a conversation with Cody, the sight causing the pink haired Digidestined to sigh as she thought with a growing frustration. 'C'mon Izzy, pay attention to me!'
Seeing the look that her partner was giving the Digidestined of Knowledge, Palmon gave her own sigh.
Palmon knew too well that Mimi held deep feelings for Izzy that had only grown over the years, but the plant Digimon also knew that the Digidestined of Sincerity didn't know how to express such emotions to her crush despite her confidence and beauty.
Meanwhile, and amongst the Digimon, Armadillomon, Hawkmon and Tentomon drooled lightly to see the food containers within Davis' hands, all knowing that the Digidestined of Miracles had prepared the meal for this get together, and the thought alone of having the maroon haired chef's cooking left the Digimon excited and their stomachs rumbling.
As Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora and their Digimon partners settled down and relaxed, a call from a familiar voice was then heard, the sound causing the entire group to see TK and Patamon arriving, both with their own guests accompanying them.
Upon moving to France, TK and his Digimon partner had run into a pair of familiar faces, this being the French Digidestined, Catherine Deneuve and her Digimon, Floramon, the four quickly becoming an item.
As the Digidestined of Hope and the blonde haired Digidestined fell for one another, Floramon became smitten with Patamon, much to the Digimon of Hope's delight as he too reflected Floramon's feelings.
As TK held Catherine's hand, showing the closeness between him and blonde haired Digidestined, Floramon held Patamon in her arms as the four approached their friends, who all smiled to see the couples, especially Davis and Kari, both happy that TK had found someone and that their own bond would not interfere in their friendships.
Sitting down together and enjoying the meal Davis prepared, the maroon haired Digidestined received nothing but high praises for his cooking skills, especially from Yolei.
Taking another bite from the various foods provided to her, Kari looked to see her boyfriend staring off into the distance, this leaving the Digidestined of Light curious about what was going through his handsome mind.
"Davis, you alright?" Kari asked with a small concern in her voice, her call snapping Davis out of his thoughts as he looked to his beloved and then smiled back at her.
"I'm fine." He replied with a reassuring smile, a smile that caused Kari to relax herself, to smile back and to enjoy the moment with her friends and boyfriend.
Watching the scene, TK and those who weren't in Witchelny looked at the pair with warmth and amazement, seeing the changes in the pair since their adventure.
While Davis had become even more relaxed and thoughtful, Kari had become more outspoken and confident, showing how their relationship had only caused them to grow as individuals.
The group then watched as Kari leaned in, slid her arms around and proceeded to kiss Davis lightly on the lips, showing that she wasn't afraid to let her affection for her lover be known to the world.
"I was just thinking about Arcanadramon and everyone else we left in Witchelny, as well as Takato and the others." The Digidestined of Miracles then told Kari after breaking from her lips, adding as he looked to the side. "I wonder how they're all doing?"
"Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing from time to time." Tai then confessed, the group's attention then turning toward the Digidestined of Courage, who added. "Don't get me wrong, after all we went through, I am glad to be back, but even I hope everything is alright and that we see them all again one day."
"From what you all told us, it seemed like you all had quite the adventure." Cody then commented, remembering when Davis and the others returned from the mystical Digital World and told them about their time in the alternate world, both good and bad.
"I'm interested to see this world as well." Izzy then found he had to confess, his scientific side getting the better of him as he was left thinking about what he was told about Witchelny and wondering how, as a world of Digimon, the concept of Digi-magic worked.
Sighing to herself to Izzy allowing his scientific curiosity to block his attention from everything, including her, Mimi too thought as well on what Sora and the others told her about Witchelny, particularly how their time there brought the Digidestined of Love and Tai together, as well as Davis, Kari and the Digimon that went with them.
Thinking about the events that lead to their romances, this left part of Mimi wishing for such an event to help Izzy fall for her.
Watching the scene and taking notice of the way Mimi was acting, Catherine let out a small giggle, while TK smiled as he thought about what Davis and Kari told him about their adventure.
However, the Digidestined of Hope frowned slightly, part of him wishing he had been there to aid his friends, a feeling that left him feeling useless when his friend could've used his aid.
Resuming their lunch and enjoying each other's company for a few more minutes after, the group then stopped when a loud beeping sound was heard, this causing Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, Izzy, Mimi, Cody, TK and Catherine to pulled out their Digivices and D-3s respectively, realizing that they were the items making the sounds.
It was then that each device suddenly emanated with a collection of bright lights that consumed everything around them, the sudden illumination causing Yolei and Hawkmon to shield their eyes.
Reopening their eyes however, the Digidestined and Digimon of Love and Sincerity looked to see the others, human and Digimon alike, gone, leaving them as the only humans and Digimon remaining at the picnic site.
Blinking their eyes a few times and then looking around for any signs of Davis, Kari or the others, Yolei and Hawkmon then let out panicked cries, realizing that their friends had disappeared, and that they had no clue what to do.

When the flash of light finally faded and died down, Davis gave a sudden and loud yelp as he crashed to the ground, before groaning as something then landed on top of him.
Turning to look over his shoulder, Davis saw a familiar brown haired Tamer with yellow goggles now staring back at him with a shared expression.
"Not again." Davis and Takato sighed in unison, before both heroes then looked over to the side, to see the various groups recovering from their own falls, this including Veemon getting off of Guilmon's back, Gatomon landing gracefully within Renamon's waiting arms, while Rika and Jeri assisted in helping Kari to her feet.
Nearby and following in their example, Izzy and Tentomon helped Mimi and Palmon off the ground, while TK and Patamon mimicked the action with Catherine and Floramon, the four Digidestined and their partners trying to figure out what exactly was going on.
Cody, meanwhile, groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, finding that lying closeby was another boy, one around his age with brown hair and green eyes, who too shared in the understandable confusion.
It took a moment before the Digidestined of Knowledge and Reliability realized that this was Tommy Himi, the Warrior of Ice, where Cody then saw the recognition in the Legendary Warrior's expression as he took notice of him.
It was then that Cody and Tommy heard a feminine moan from whoever was on top of them, the groans causing both boys to look up and each to share a small blush to see a beautiful girl around their age with shoulder length purple hair and light tanned skin with her body accidently spread on top of them.
Slowly opening her light and pretty purple eyes, the girl gained a blush herself to see the two rather cute boys she had landed upon, this leaving the trio in silence for a moment as Cody and Tommy wondered who this girl was, as well as found concerns to what the mysterious girl thought to the unpredicted position she had been placed in.
The question on their minds was then answered when a familiar Digimon, being a Lopmon, peeked out from behind the girl's left shoulder and asked with a soft concern within her tone. "Suzie, are you alright?"
The Digimon Tamer, and youngest of the Wong siblings, nodded her head in reply, before Suzie found her older brother, Henry Wong, as well as Armadillomon, quickly rushing over toward the small dogpile.
"Suize, are you ok?" The older Wong sibling felt he had to ask as he too showed his concerns as a big brother and proceeded to help Suzie to her feet.
With Suzie removed from them, the boys quickly pulled themselves up.
Returning to their own feet, Armadillomon checked on his partner, while Tommy just brushed himself off.
Trying to fight back the strange feeling she had as she looked back at the two boys she was just on top of as she remembered who they were, Suzie shook her head of the small "naughty" thoughts in her head and replied kindly. "I... I'm good, Henry... thank you..."
"Good." Henry said in relief, before looking around and finding he had to then ask. "Where'd Terriermon run off to?"
"Momentai..." A familiar voice then groaned from above, the strained voice causing the small group to look up and to see the familiar rabbit-like Digimon now hanging from a tree by his ears, and with spirals filling in his eyes, prompting the older Digimon Tamer to quickly come to the aid of his Digimon partner.
"Not again!" Takuya whined as he once again found himself with Tai, Marcus and the pair of Agumon, all of whom had landed on his being.
Despite the small stack atop of him, the Warrior of Fire felt something shift under his body, prompting him to question. "And what the heck did I land on?!"
"You landed on me!" Kazu Shioda, groaned from beneath the bottom of the dogpile, the Digimon Tamer uncertain as to what had happened and how he ended up underneath those on top of him.
Looking to the side, the brown haired Tamer then gained a growing sweatdrop to see his Digimon partner, Guardromon, now upside down and seemingly unable to remove his bulky frame from out of a small crater caused by his great weight, this sight leaving part of Kazu grateful that his Digimon partner didn't land on him as well.
Watching the scenes around them, Sora, Biyomon, Zoe, Yoshi and Lalamon did what they could to control themselves and keep back their laughter, while near them, the Warrior of Darkness, Koichi Kimura, along with Thomas Norstein and his partner, Gaomon, watched with a shared and equal confusion to the situation now presented to them.
As Takato got up and helped the maroon haired Digidestined back to his feet, Davis and the brown haired Tamer looked to also see Mikey, Tagiru, Nene, Shoutmon, Gumdramon and Mervamon following in their example, the group helping two other humans and their Digimon to their feet as well.
Looking closely at the Red General and his friends, Davis realized that the blond haired boy amongst the group was likely Nene's younger brother, Yuu Amano, and his partner, Damemon, while the other human was a blonde haired girl he briefly remembered from the battle against Quartzmon, Airu Suzaki, that was if the maroon haired Digidestined remembered what Mikey, Tagiru and Nene had told him was correct.
Accompanying the blonde haired girl was a small Digimon keeping herself from any fall damage via a series of balloons, this being Airu's Digimon partner, Opossumon, who couldn't help but to giggle a little at the antics afflicting her partner and their friends.
Finally, turning to the side, Davis saw Haru, Eri, Astora and their Appmon once again, as well as a taller dark haired boy and a black cloaked Appmon by his side, whose descriptions matched that of one of the other Appli Drivers the group had mentioned on their previous journey, this being the hacking expert, Rei Katsura and his Appmon Buddy, Hackmon.
Before anyone could voice their understandable and shared confusions, Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, Takato, Rika, Jeri, Takuya, Zoe, Marcus, Yoshi, Mikey, Tagiru, Nene, Haru, Eri and Astora noticed their various Digivices and App Drives begin to glow with a bright light, the light causing the heroes and heroines to withdraw their respective devices that they then held in their hands, before watching as the various devices where then altered by energy.
Reshaping their forms and materialising around the wrists of those holding them, the light fading as the former heroes of Witchelny saw their devices take on familiar forms, the D-Bracers.
It was in that moment that Davis, Kari, Tai, Sora, Takato, Rika, Jeri, Takuya, Zoe, Marcus, Yoshi, Mikey, Tagiru, Nene, Haru, Eri, Astora, their Digimon and Appmon partners' eyes widened as realization hit them.
"We're back!" Those more familiar with their group's adventure all called in joy and excitement, which quickly became contagious as the original heroes of Witchelny cheered wildly.
Letting out excited squeals to the various and growing emotions within, Kari, Sora, Jeri, Zoe, Yoshi, Nene and Eri quickly moved for a group hug, the girls all happy to see one another once again.
And although being her usual distant self, Rika watched from the sidelines, the red haired Digimon Tamer briefly expressed a small smile as she tried to keep herself and her emotions under control.
However, Zoe and Yoshi then grabbed Rika by her arms, the action causing the red haired Tamer to gulp lightly as Yoshi said with a sweet smile. "Oh no, you're in this too!"
With a startled yelp, Rika was pulled into the group hug, the redhead laughing nervously at the enthusiasm expressed through Jeri and the other girls, before she looked to Kari and smiled, one the brunette shared as both Digidestined and Digimon Tamer then looked over at Davis, who was about to give a high five to an overly excited Haru.
Before their hands met however, Davis stopped and found a question coming to mind, asking the green haired Appli Driver with a sly smirk. "So, did you ask Ai out?"
Remembering that Davis did promise to ask if they ever met again, Haru held a nervous expression as he sweatdropped, the green haired hero unsure how to answer the question.
Fortunately, Gatchmon answered for his Buddy, the Search Appmon announcing with a joyous and proud smile. "Yep, and they've been dating since we got back!"
The next thing Haru knew, the green haired Appli Driver was lifted up by Marcus and Tai, who were joined by Takuya, Takato, Mikey and Tagiru as the group cheered for Haru, excited to hear that Haru had indeed wound up with his dream girl.
As the excitement continued, those new to Witchelny watched their friends from the side with mixed emotions as Terriermon commented causally. "I kind of feel like a third wheel here."
"You can say that again." Airu said in agreement, not liking the fact that she was being ignored when she had so many questions she wanted answered.
Meanwhile, Gatchmon joined Veemon, Gatomon, as well as the other Digimon, alongside the Appmon who had saved Witchelny beforehand in celebration of their reunion, all of whom were laughing and cheering as they talked amongst one another.
From the side and keeping her distance, Renamon watched on with her own soft smile, her tail slightly swaying as she kept control of her emotions and tried to not show how happy she really was, that was until Mervamon pulled the vixen Digimon into a tight hug, an action that caused Renamon to give a startled yelp in response.
Feeling his own excitement to be back in Witchelny and with his friends once again, Gumdramon was jumping up and down with joy.
However, while mid-air, a realization suddenly struck Gumdramon as his eyes widened, the Superstar Digimon calling loudly. "Wait!"
Hearing his cry, the joy and excitement stopped as everyone looked to Gumdramon, only to sweatdrop as he plummeted to the ground below him with a small thud, but seemingly unaffected by his fall, Gumdramon quickly stood up and asked his friends. "If we're back, doesn't that mean something wrong?!"
Realizing that the Superstar Digimon was right, the former heroes and heroines of Witchelny looked around, the group took in their surroundings for the first time and found the distant landscape darkening around them.
"Isn't this the Dark Tribe's territory?" Takato then asked as a sense of realization filled the group, that they were indeed in the lands of their old enemies.
However and looking above, Davis and the others then saw that something was very wrong, to see a mass of dark clouds forming in the distance, a dark red energy coursing through out them as they seemed to be moving to a singular direction.
Taking the lead, Davis and Veemon began walking in the direction of the gathering clouds of darkness, the other heroes and heroines of Witchelny following right behind them, while the newcomers, still unsure what was going on, followed their friends so they too could see and figure out what was happening.
Following the maroon haired Digidestined, the group soon found themselves on a ridge line that looked down over a small chasm and ended with a large drop off.
Above, the dark clouds came together, the energy coursing through them growing in intensity, leaving a bad feeling in each of the humans, Digimon and Appmon present.
Concerned about the darkening clouds, Davis had a nagging feeling that they weren't alone.
Turning his head to the right, Davis' eyes then widened as he saw a figure standing on the ridge line with him and his friends, where his friends and allies all turned to see what Davis was looking at.
The figure appeared to resemble a great draconic sage, with black robes resting around his shoulders, while allowing all present to see that amongst the various golden gems adorning his four claw-like hands, his waist and around his neck, while in his possession was a large and powerful staff.
Holding a great beastly and draconic appearance in his facial features, his eyes ablaze in red energy, which matched the large red stone upon his forehead, at the centre of four, large horns that spread out from his head, all of which glowed brightly.
Those new to Witchelny looked upon the being apprehensively, uncertain whether he was a friend or an enemy, but the newcomers were certain that the being held great strength and power.
For Davis, Veemon and the former heroes and heroines, however, the being's presence brought a bright smile to their faces, where the Digidestined of Miracles and his partner walked towards the being, a sight that caused some of the newcomers, including TK and Cody, to almost voice their concerns, before watching Kari, Gatomon and the others that had been to this world previously follow behind the pair.
Sensing that he was not alone, Arcanadramon turned to see who was approaching him, believing at first that the enemy had snuck up on him, but upon seeing the sight before him, the draconic mystic Digimon's eyes widened in shock, disbelief and most of all, joy.
"I did not think the spell would work again." Arcanadramon said to his old friends as Davis and Veemon stopped and smiled at their old friend, happy, along with the others, to know that it was the mystic Digimon that had summoned them this time around and not their enemy.
"Maybe a little too well." Davis said in reply, looking behind him and toward TK and the rest of those who had arrived in Witchelny for the first time.
"We've apparently brought along a few more of our friends this time." The Digidestined of Miracles then informed Arcanadramon.
Seeing the newcomers and nodding for a moment, Arcanadramon looked back upon Davis and Veemon, before tilting his head in confusion.
"None of you seemed to have aged a day." The arcane Digimon remarked.
"Well, what do you expect? It's only been six months." Tai said back, the original Digidestined of Courage confused slightly by the mystic Digimon's words.
Blinking his eyes several times in confusion, Arcanadramon told everyone present. "It has been two thousand years for us."
"Dang!" Davis, Kari and the other heroes and heroines of Witchelny let out in shock and surprise, forgetting that Witchelny was moving at a faster rate than their worlds.
However, sensing something wrong in the air, Arcanadramon, the heroes and heroines, along with their other friends and allies, all turned to look down the chasm, to see the strange energy striking the ground in various spots, a sight that caused the mystic Digimon to clench his staff tightly.
"I wish we had more time to speak, but the situation is dire." Arcanadramon told Davis and the others with a further seriousness in his tone, the mystic Digimon keeping his eyes to the ground below. "A new evil has descended upon our world, and your aid is required once more."
Looking down, Davis, Veemon and the others saw small pockets of fire erupting from the ground, the land itself seemingly changing from the wicked energies filling it, before the Digidestined of Miracles saw something among the chaos that concerned him greatly.
From the pockets of flame, small vortexes opened, and from them, hundreds of small imp-like creatures emerged, each about the size of Guilmon, with deep red skin, long, claw-like hands, small sharp tails, razor sharp teeth, pitch black eyes and a pair of horns made of pure fire, where the creatures let out loud shrieks of primal rage.
Alongside the fiery imp-like creatures emerged much taller creatures, more human like in body structure, clad in dark red armour, with demonic helmets, spiked skull shoulder pads and long scaled tails coming down from the back of their heads, each wielding serrated blades brimming with an unnatural fire as they all let out roars and cries of battle.
As they looked upon the seemingly growing army of unknown creatures, every human, Digimon and Appmon present looked in shock and horror at the horrifying sight, before a load sound forced them to look upwards, where they saw what looked like tears forming, opening to a familiar sight that caused the former heroes and heroines to look on in shock and realization.
The tears before them were opening to the Void, the chaotic space between dimensions, where the group saw a powerful fiery energy emerge from the rifts, forming into more of the hideous creatures as the growing army, now in the thousands, began to make their way towards the ridge above, while winged versions of the imp-like beasts began to fly out of the rifts, shrieking with a dark bloodlust.
"We won't fight this threat alone." Arcanadramon informed, keeping his eyes upon the evil approaching him and his allies, his remark causing Davis and the others to look at him with confusion, before nearly a hundred figures landed around them, startling those new to Witchelny as Mimi, Palmon, Catherine, Floramon, Suzie, Airu and Opossumon let out startled cries.
Looking around, however, the original heroes and heroines of Witchelny looked in surprise to see the various Digimon that were their apparent allies, with Davis, Kari and the others seeing many DeathKnightmon, RavenKnightmon, ShadowKnightmon, Corvusmon and FellKnightmon, along with several SkullDracomon, FellDracomon and ShadowDracomon, each Digimon an Ultimate or Mega Level that had once served as the heroes' enemies the last time they were in Witchelny.
Quickly turning as another being landed next to them, Davis and Veemon looked to see a tall figure in black armour, with gold trimmings along his armour and a purple gem on his chest, along with a dark flowing cape and two large drills upon his arms.
But what caught the attention of the duo of Miracles was the beings head, which held a familiar triceratops-like feature with three horns and a familiar look in his red eyes as the being let out an arrogant laugh.
"Well, Well, look who showed up." The Digimon said with a familiar superiority within his voice, one the original heroes remembered quite well.
"GulusGammamon?" Veemon questioned, getting his answer as the Dark Digimon grinned down upon him.
"It's Arcturusmon now, but yes." The Champion of the Dark Tribe said back, before asking with a growing sly smile. "Do you still have what it takes to be the heroes?"
Turning and looking at their friends, Davis and Veemon saw the rest of the original heroes and heroines nod in reply, ready to lend their aid, even if they still weren't sure what was happening.
"Only one way to find out." Davis said in reply as he held his arm up, before his D-Bracer, along with Tai, Kari, Sora, Takato, Rika, Jeri, Takuya, Zoe, Marcus, Yoshi, Mikey, Tagiru, Nene, Haru, Eri and Astora's, began to glow with a familiar light.
As this happened, and those new to Witchelny got over their shock to see the arrival of the Dark Tribe Digimon, especially TK, the group then looked to see their other friends and their partners consumed in pillars of light, emerging as the Dark Digimon looked in awe to see the heroes of Witchelny truly return.

As the lights of the D-bracers faded, Izzy, Mimi, TK, Catherine, Cody and their Digimon partners looked on in awe to see that their friends had merged with their own partners, becoming new Digimon unlike anything they had seen before, while Henry, Suzie, Kazu and their Digimon partners all looked in shock to see the newer forms of Gallantmon and Sakuyamon.
From their own positions, Koichi and Tommy looked on with their own awe as they took in Takuya and Zoe's new spirit forms, while Thomas and Gaomon watched with great interest as Agumon and Lalamon turned into light, before spreading around Marcus and Yoshi, turning into the Digi-armours that the pair had used in their last adventure in Witchelny and left the pair looking like mediaeval knights based on ShineGreymon and Rosemon's appearances.
Nearby, Yuu, Damemon, Airu and Opossumon looked in shock to see that Mikey, Tagiru and Nene did indeed merge with Shoutmon, Gumdramon and Mervamon, becoming new species of Digimon in the process, this leaving Airu more jealous than bewildered as she took in AncientMervamon's figure.
Finally, Rei and Hackmon looked at their friends with shock and amazement, now understanding what their friends were talking about when they mentioned becoming one with their Appmon buddies.
The group of newcomers were suddenly broken from their awe when they saw energy circles form around Jeri's arms, the brown haired Digimon Tamer seeming to be concentrating as she accessed the Digi-magic of Witchelny once again.
Waving her arms around her and causing her clothing to turn into light and morph, reforming into green and yellow robe that covered most of her body, while a circle of Digi-magic formed around her back, spinning with various Digi-runes upon them, the transformation was a sight to behold.
Moving her left hand around, Jeri then summoned what looked like a disc made of pure light, which she then flung towards TK and the other newcomers, an action that startled them all for a moment, until they saw the light disc fly down and under their feet, where a dome of energy then formed around them.
"That should keep you guys safe, just stay in the seal while we handle this." Jeri said with a trusting smile, before holding both hands out as light formed in her palms, light that then changed into a pair of golden swords, which Jeri swung with confidence and power.
"You're just showing off now, aren't you?" MagnaVeedramon asked with a deadpanned tone, the question causing Jeri to sweatdrop and laugh nervously, while TK and the other Digidestined were surprised to hear the combined voices of Davis and Veemon come from the massive knight-like Digimon.
Hearing loud shrieks and roars, the attention of all was turned back to the horde of infernal creatures that were now charging towards the ridge, the materialization of the heroes and heroines seemingly increasing their bloodlust as they raced toward the small army.
"Defenders of Witchelny, our heroes stand with us once more! Together, we will drive these invaders back!" Arcanadramon bellowed with a fierce determination, his call letting out a battle cry from Arcturusmon and the Dark Tribe Digimon as they, along with the heroes and heroines of their world, leaped into battle.
For better or worse, the heroes and heroines had returned to Witchelny, and it seemed the world needed them now more than ever before.

Author's Note: And we have returned to Witchelny! A sequel was always planned for this, and now, the heroes and heroines find themselves, and a few of their friends, in a new battle. Who are these new enemies, what do they seek, how has Witchelny changed in the two thousand years that have passed, what other evils lurk in the shadows? Stay tuned as a new adventure begins!
