Despite it nearly being noon, the skies above Mt. Brocken were pitch black, broken only by the massive rift above and seemingly which tore up the sky.
With the appearance of the rift, fire rained upon the city below, bringing destruction to the environment and spawning legions of the infernal warriors as they prepared for their invasion.
The legions assaulted the barrier which prevented them from causing the total destruction of those before them, but despite the power of the magical energies surrounding the city, the barrier was unable to keep all of the Legion's forces back.
Doing all they could, the defenders of the city evacuated the civilians and also fought against the infernal creatures after few managed to penetrate the barrier.
Wizardmon, Sorcerimon, Witchmon and Mistymon, each of whom were bearing the crest of the Arcane Order, fought against the fiery imps, the warriors and their larger brethren.
There could be no chance of mistake or of allowing negativity to cloud their judgement, they needed to keep fighting, to also deflect the array of spells from the infernal priests so Mt. Brocken would remain protected.
"Magna Sabers!"

Striking as one and passing through the barrier, which seemed to register the Digimon as allies and friends to Witchleny, MagnaVeedramon and Zetsubomon cut through a large force of the infernal invaders that were surrounding a large group of civilians.
Through a powerful array of light and darkness, the sight caused the civilian to let out mighty cheers toward the two heroes of Witchelny.
Once the innocent Digimon were safe from harm, MagnaVeedramon and Zetsubomon took a moment to take in their surroundings, to see the barrier being struck from the outside by a series of fireballs, courtesy of the infernal priests and brimstone catapults.
The infernal enemies continued to unleash their inferno attacks upon the protective energy around the city as the wicked entities remained eager to bring the barrier down and to then unleash their full might upon those within.
Looking upon the interior of the barrier, MagnaVeedramon and Zetsubomon then noticed a group of Digimon neither had ever seen before, who were apparently using their energies to keep the barrier up and to repel against the onslaught of infernal fire.
The Digimon in question resembled tall humanoids that looked like older versions of Wizardmon.
Clad in dark blue robes and a wizard's hat, which left only their eyes showing as they held staves that resembled Arcanadramon's own, this caused MagnaVeedramon to bring up his D-Bracer as to better understand the newer Digimon and the information upon them.
"Merlinmon, Mega Level mystic Digimon who are masters in the most ancient of mystical arts." The Holy Knight Digimon informed as he looked to the mystic Digimon, who also bore the emblem of the Arcane Order upon their robes, to show their allegiance and to show them as the elite Digimon of the mystical order.
"They'd probably be a big help if they weren't busy keeping everyone safe." Zetsubomon said with a bothered tone, evident that the Digimon of Darkness wasn't too keen on the idea that useful allies were being held up.
To Zetsubomon's words, MagnaVeedramon held a small smile, to see that the Dark Digimon was following his advice and was no longer bottling up his more negative emotions.
"We need to clear out the city and protect the civilians first, then you'll be alright?" MagnaVeedramon then questioned, knowing that this would be TK and Patamon's first major battle within Witchelny.
However, the Digimon of Miracles remained with a sense of pride as Zetsubomon cracked his knuckles in reply.
"Honestly, after everything that's happened since we got here, I have to admit, it's going to feel good to cut loose." The fusion of TK and Patamon said with a small glee in his tone, before launching off to find more of the infernal invaders.
Following and remaining as Zetsubomon's support, MagnaVeedramon took off to dish out his own justice upon the malevolent forces.
Outside of the barrier, Lightbearer Ophanimon and the remaining of the heroes and heroines who were in their combat forms arrived behind the invading army.
The group moved into action, seeking to disrupt the forces assaulting the city.

Combining their various attacks, along with Jeri, who harnessed her unique powers and summoned forth a pair of blades formed by her mystical energies, the heroes and heroines cut through the infernal forces.
Striking at the priests and the catapults, this drew the majority of the invading enemies toward the oncoming opponents, who they sought to destroy.
As their friends battled the Infernal Legion, Arcanadramon and the rest of the newcomers to Witchelny teleported into the high tower of the castle, to watch from the nearby balcony and to see the conflict between the wicked beings against their friends and teammates.
Looking down at the fighting below, the mystic Digimon grit his teeth to see the barrier slowly losing its power, despite the best efforts of the Merlinmon.
Knowing that he was needed below, Arcanadramon addressed the humans, Digimon and Appmon around him.
"All of you wait here while..." He said.
It was then, however, a sudden, loud and deafening roar caused Arcanadramon and those with him, along with the heroes, heroines and defenders below to look up and towards the rift within the sky.
First seeing a swarm of the winged imps flying out, before something massive emerged from the void above, something of great power and of greater evil.
Resembling a demonic dragon, one bigger than any of the draconic Digimon in Witchelny, the infernal creature's entire body was made out of the brimstone material, while out of the exposed sections of its being, along with its wings, infernal flames burned intensely.
As the infernal dragon let out another roar, the bellowing unleashed a blast of great and terrible flames upon the barrier.
The attack was powerful, too powerful for the Merlinmon to maintain the protective energy forming it, which forced the sage Digimon to forcefully retreat as the barrier came crashing down, allowing the infernal warriors below to charge on in and resume in their invasion.
Back above, more swarmed down from the fiery rift, this forcing MagnaVeedramon, Zetsubomon and the other heroes and heroines capable of providing aid to go on the defensive as they tried to drive the infernal invaders back.
"Ok, someone needs to take care of that thing!" BardMusimon stated as he looked up at the infernal dragon, the musical Digimon pointing his thumbs downwards and adding with less enthusiasm. "So not groovy!"
In response, Lightbearer Ophanimon, SacredPhoenixmon, MysticSakuyamon, CrimsonAldamon, GaleSilphymon and Sagemon took off in an attempt to try and stop the infernal beast, while contending with the winged imps that seemed to fly around the larger beast as though protecting it.
Meanwhile, MagnaVeedramon, Zetsubomon and the remaining heroes and heroines focused their efforts on the invading ground forces, the Merlinmon now aiding their allies as they tried to push back the infernal creatures.
"Until we can close that rift we need to keep their focus on us and allow the civilians to get out of here!" The Digimon of Miracles announced, his call receiving nods of agreement from the other heroes and heroines as they confronted the charging infernal warriors, imps and their larger kin, doing whatever they could to strike down their foes, even as more appeared to take their places.
Wasting no time, Arcanadramon floated into the air and made his way down so he too could join the heroes and heroines of Witchleny in combat, to aid his friends and allies driving off the Legion's forces, which left Izzy, Mimi and the remaining newcomers alone back upon the balcony.
Clenching the railing with his fists, Kazu then backed away and began to walk toward the stairwell, his action catching the attention of everyone else as they looked to the brown haired Tamer with a shared curiosity.
"I don't know about you guys, but I am sick and tired of just standing around while our friends are out there." He said with a mix of frustration and determination within his voice as he held his right arm and his D-Bracer up.
"These things may not work yet, but that doesn't mean we can't help in our own way, even if it's just getting the Digimon that aren't fighting out of harm's way. If you want to call me reckless, fine, but I know you all feel the same way. Now, who's with me?" The Digimon Tamer questioned with a seriousness in his tone, one even Henry, Terriermon, Suzie and Lopmon had rarely seen.
However, respecting and always there for Kazu, as his Digimon partner and a friend, Guardromon moved to join and to assist the Digimon Tamer through any means he could provide.
Looking to one another, most of the group shared a silent agreement, knowing that Kazu was right, and that each of them refused to sit back and allow their friends to fight without them any longer, causing most to slowly make their way towards Kazu and Guardromon.
However, Yuu and Damemon stopped and turned to see Airu and Opossumon remaining in place, the beast Digimon looking at her partner with concern as Airu kept a fake smile upon her face.
"We'll just hang back here..." The blonde haired Digimon Hunter merely said with a nervous laugh, the words and the nervousness within her tone causing most of the group to frown in response.
However, Airu was then surprised as Yuu slowly approached his girlfriend, guided her right hand into his own and kept a small and understanding smile upon his face.
"Airu, I know you're scared, this is after all something I know you aren't used to. Heck, this is way different from the time I was with Mikey and my sister in our Digital World." The younger of the Amano siblings said, before taking Airu's hand and raising it so she could see the D-Bracer around her arm.
"But this… this means something, that we aren't here by accident, that we have a part to play in all of this, and so do you." Yuu went on to say, taking both of Airu's hands into his own as he then said to her with an endearing love. "I know you are scared, but I know you can be brave when you want to be, and be much more than even you realize. And even if you're still scared, I'll be right here for you."
As the others watched the touching scene, with Mimi and Catherine having starry eyes to the love Yuu expressed, Airu did what she could to fight back her tears.
Yes, she was afraid, absolutely terrified at finding herself not only within another world, but in the midst of a war against something they all still cannot comprehend yet, all of which were a far cry from the Digimon Hunts.
And yet, hearing Yuu's words, the blonde haired Digimon Hunter felt a spark within her, a desire to actually help, to do the right thing and not just think just for herself.
Watching the sight, Damemon and Opossumon looked between their partners, each wondering how Airu would react.
"You owe me a date when we get back! Lots of dates! And chocolates, and stuffed toys and whatever else I want!" Airu declared in a frantic yell as she let go of Yuu's hands and rushed past everyone, Opossumon quickly rushed after her partner with a soft smile on her face, ready to help Airu in any way she could.
Smiling himself to Airu's reaction, Yuu nodded to the others, who then quickly followed the blonde Digimon Hunter as everyone was ready to do their part in this battle and to assist their friends.

Unleashing their attacks together and accompanied alongside various energy blasts from Jeri, Arcanadramon and the Merlinmon, the teamwork allowed MagnaVeedramon, Zetsubomon and the other ground based heroes and heroines to strike back at the infernal invaders, even pushing the wicked beings back and wiping out a large number of the wicked forces.
However and despite their efforts, for each one of the infernal creatures they destroyed, two more just seemed to take their place as the infernal fire continued to rain down from the rift, bringing a seemingly endless wave of the Infernal Legion's forces.
And adding to the troubles of the heroes and heroines was to how each could feel their energy slowly draining, which left a shared sense of fear amongst MagnaVeedramon and the others that if this continued, their own exhaustion would be their undoing.

Working with their own teamwork, meanwhile, Lightbearer Ophanimon, SacredPhoenixmon, MysticSakuyamon, CrimsonAldamon, GaleSilphymon and Sagemon unleashed their own barrage upon the infernal dragon.
Even though the team managed to strike down many of the winged imps around the dragon and even landed a few strikes upon the fiery beast's form, the attacks only seemed to annoy the beast more than dealing any serious damage.
Retaliating, the dragon bellowed with a terrible roar, its fiery wings flapping in the air as the dragon turned its attention toward those who had dared to strike.
"Ok, I think we just pissed it off." CrimsonAldamon remarked with a growing concern as the Warrior of Flame and the group amongst CrimsonAldamon turned and began to fly off, the infernal dragon chasing after the Warrior of Flame, who then questioned with a growing concern. "What's plan B again?"
Growling as he pushed back one of the infernal knights and panting slightly from his exhaustion, MagnaVeedramon took a moment to look around and to see his friends and their allies doing what they could to push their own enemies back, while seeing more and more of the infernal invaders appearing.
However, despite these attacks, the Digimon of Miracles then smiled to himself to see Izzy, Catherine and the rest of those whose D-Bracers had yet to activate helping those who could not fight.
Providing and showing his allies with his unique set of hacking skills, Hackmon used his hacking tools to help lift debris away and to allow Rei and the others to attend to the wounded Digimon.
Meanwhile, Airu and Opossumon worked with Yuu, Mimi, Cody and their partners as they helped usher the civilians to the safety of the castle, which held its own protective barrier and would be able to provide the protection needed for the Digimon, at least for the time being.
Though happy to see the others helping, MagnaVeedramon was broken from his thoughts by a fierce roar.
Turning with the rest of those on the ground, MagnaVeedramon looked to see Lightbearer Ophanimon and the rest of her group coming down toward them, the infernal dragon right behind them and looking ready to either incinerate them with its flames, or swallow them whole within its gaping maw.
Moving quickly, Zetsubomon and the others rejoined MagnaVeedramon, the group preparing to aid their friends, to strike down this large threat and to protect the city, no matter the cost.
Seeing their friends, and seeing the infernal beast coming towards them, Mimi and the rest of the group helping civilians felt a shared sense of duty, a need to protect their friends and to fight alongside them.
'They need us!' Each human, Digimon and the lone Appmon thought together, just as their D-Bracers began to shine with a collection of bright and powerful lights, one that consumed each and every one of the various humans and their respective partners.
Seeing the lights and sensing the new power, the infernal dragon let out another loud roar and rushed past the gathering of heroes, heroines and their allies, who each turned to see the massive columns of light that engulfed their other friends, concern filling them for the group's safety, before a loud cry caused their eyes to widen.
"Hyper Horn Buster!" The combined voices of Izzy and Tentomon called out together with a great power and raw emotion within his voice as a powerful blast of electricity shot from out of the light, striking the infernal dragon and causing the beast to cry out as it was incinerated from the electrifying blast, this causing MagnaVeedramon and those around him to shield their eyes from the explosion.
Once the electrifying energy died down, the Digimon of Miracles and his allies looked in awe to see the group before them, to see the new forms their friends had finally gained from the power of their D-Bracers.
In place of Izzy and Tentomon stood a large insectoid Digimon, a variant of HerculesKabuterimon, a sight that caused SacredPhoenixmon to mentally cheer, namely from seeing she was no longer the tallest member of the team.
Unlike the HerculesKabuterimon some within the group were used to, however, the variant that the Digidestined and the Digimon of Knowledge had changed into had a dark green exoskeleton and was covered from head to toe in a matching coloured armour.
Bearing lightning designs upon the shoulder pads as well as dark green tassels draping down the Digimon's back, the insect Digimon's upper hands held a pair of golden staves, each designed to look like lightning bolts.
Meanwhile, the lower hands held massive swords that were made of electricity, weapons that the Digimon swung around as he declared in the combined voices of Izzy and Tentomon. "BlitzKabuterimon!"
MagnaVeedramon, Samudramon, SacredPhoenixmon and Lightbearer Ophanimon all smiled brightly to see the massive and powerful form Izzy and Tentomon had obtained, before their attention was drawn to three smaller Digimon that floated in the air around of Digimon of Knowledge.
The first of these Digimon held a similar appearance of a Rosemon, who was wearing robes made of red leaves, the fairy Digimon floating in the air with butterfly wings made of green energy, while a rose bloom seemed to surround her neck as a leaf-like crown rested upon her head.
Through a growing sense of grace, the Digimon then announced her name through the combined voice of Mimi and Palmon. "ArcaneRafflesimon!"
Floating longside ArcaneRafflesimon was a knightly Digimon that looked to Marcus, Yoshi, CrimsonAldamon and GaleSilphymon, who resembled Crusadermon, only this knight Digimon's armour was a deeper shade of red instead of pink, while a flowing cape made of leaves cascaded down her back.
In her right hand was a rapier with a rose designed handle, while in her left, the knight Digimon wielded a rose shaped golden shield, before the fusion of Catherine and Floramon declared with might and determination. "KnightRosemon!"
Finally and amongst the Digimon floating around BlitzKabuterimon was an angelic Digimon, one MagnaVeedramon, Samudramon, SacredPhoenixmon and Lightbearer Ophanimon originally thought TK and Patamon would have turned into instead of Zetsubomon, which closely resembled Seraphimon.
The angelic Digimon had a slightly buckled build within his appearance, with his shoulderpads extending down to his elbows, while a golden cape flowed down his back, parting as his six golden wings shined with a brilliant and great light.
Although his helmet covered most of his face, the angelic Digimon's mouth was still visible, reflecting his determination.
The Digimon then swung the golden sword resting in his right hand as he announced through the combined voices of Cody and Armadillomon. "GrandDominimon!"
As impressive as it was to see the new forms the remaining Digidestined had taken upon merging with their Digimon partners, Medieval Gallantmon, MysticSakuyamon and Jeri turned their heads downward to see three Digimon standing in the place of their fellow Digimon Tamers and their partners, surprising the trio as they took in the new forms of their friends.
The first new Digimon, which appeared to be the combined form of Henry and Terriermon, resembled a human that was about the height of Medieval Gallantmon, who was clad in dark green ninja gear, accompanied alongside steel gauntlets over his hands which glowed with a dark green light.
With a shinobi's mask that resembled a green rabbit's face covering his own face, the Digimon performed a graceful tai chi kick and declared through Henry and Terriermon's shared might. "ShaolinGargomon!"
Beside ShaolinGargomon was a Digimon with a similar appearance, only they were slightly smaller and feminine.
Clad in a dark purple gear set, alongside a dark purple rabbit inspired mask, the Digimon held a double bladed staff in her hand, which she swung around as the blades lit up with dark purple energy.
Ending her movements of her staff as she slammed it down, the Digimon declared through Suzie and Lopmon's combined voices. "KendoAntylamon!"
Behind the pair of rabbit based Digimon, meanwhile, stood a Digimon that resembled HiAndromon, one who was constructed from golden gears, a clockwork Digimon with two massive gears as shoulderpads, who then clenched his fists and called out in the combined voices of Kazu and Guardromon. "ArcaneAndromon!"
Turning to see their own friends, CrimsonAldamon and GaleSilphymon first looked to Koichi, to see the Warrior of Darkness now in a new form, one bearing armour that resembled Loweemon in a more knightley aspect, who was accompanied with sphinx shaped shoulder pads that emitted a darkness from their eyes and a pair of gold feathered wings that spread from his black.
Swinging his great sword, the dark metal blade surrounded in a dark aura, the new form of Koichi brought his weapon up and declared with his own might. "EclipseRhihimon!"
As impressive as the new form of the Warrior of Darkness was to the Warriors of Flame and of Wind, CrimsonAldamon and GaleSilphymon were even more surprised to see the new form Tommy had achieved himself.
Now around the same height as CrimsonAldamon and EclipseRhihimon, the new form of the Warrior of Ice resembled a viking warrior covered from head to toe in armour made of ice, with a pair of dragon heads as shoulder pads and frost wings emerging from his back.
Through his horned helmet, the ice warrior Digimon's eyes glowed with an icy blue as a pair of axes materialised within his hands, before the new form of the Warrior of Ice bellowed through a might that rivalled Korikakumon. "FrostKrigermon!"
Looking to Thomas, Marcus and Yoshi smiled to see that Gaomon had indeed turned into Digi-armour, just like their own partners, and that their blond friend was now in armour that resembled a human version of MirageGaogamon, complete with a flowing cape, a pair of arm gauntlets that held a series of claw blades and a wolf's head on his chest piece.
His eyes peering through his wolf-styled helmet, taking in his new gear and power as he felt Gaomon's presence around him, Thomas looked to Marcus and Yoshi and nodded his head as to inform his friends that he was ready to join them in their time of need.
Stepping forward slightly, LordShoutmon, ShaolinArresterdramon and AncientMervamon looked upon the two new Digimon standing before them, the fusions of Yuu and Damemon and Airu and Opossumon respectively.
Looking to the left, the fusion of Yuu and Damemon resembled a human version of Tuwarmon, his arms, legs and body looking more human-like, though slightly muscular, while his helmet was more rounded throughout his appearance.
Along his waist, LordShoutmon, ShaolinArresterdramon and AncientMervamon saw various ninjutsu scrolls and other ninja based accessories.
Swinging the more familiar sickles, his Mantis Arms, the Digimon declared in the combined voices of Yuu and Damemon. "Torikkusutumon!"
Looking to the right, however, the Digimon King and those around him were surprised to see the form Airu and Opossumon had taken, to see that instead of a form resembling Cho Hakkaimon, the blonde haired Digimon Hunter and her partner had merged into a tall feminine Digimon who was clad in dark shinobi gear, one with a fox mask over her face and a black tail which seemed to sway behind her and purposely showing off her shapely figure.
Flexing her clawed fingers, which crackled with a dark electrical energy, the vixen ninja-like Digimon got into a fighting stance as she announced through the combined voices of Airu and Opossumon. "ShadowKitsunemon!"
Finally, Sagemon, ShogunOujamon and BardMusimon looked up in awe to see a tall, bipedal version of Revivemon.
Covered in black scales, matching armour and wings, accompanied with a second mouth upon his stomach as he swung his head and let out a fierce roar, the draconic Appmon swung the spear within his right hand around, the tip brimming with a black fire, before the new Appmon declared in Rei and Hackmon's combined voices. "ArcaneRevivemon!"
"Prodigious!" BlitzKabuterimon then remarked with scientific intrigue as he examined his new form, while the other new heroes and heroines also took in and examined their new forms.
"Wow, I look super hot like this!" ShadowKitsunemon declared as she looked herself over, the attention she paid to herself and her body causing Torikkusutumon to sweatdrop.
Sliding her left hand behind her head and posing, the vixen ninja Digimon then asked, expressing her curious seductions. "Don't you think so, cutie?"
As the heroes and heroines, new and old, shook their heads toward ShadowKitsunemon's antics, causing Arcanadramon to chuckle a little, the moment was then stopped as the sounds of roars and shrieks of rage filled the city, causing the heroes and their allies to see that the entire invading force of the Infernal Legion now had their eyes upon them as the infernal creatures let out battle cries.
Emboldened by their friends' transformations, however, MagnaVeedramon, Zetsubomon and the other heroes and heroines stood back to back.
Accompanied with the remainder of their friends, each appeared to be battle ready and to further their efforts in driving back the Legion.
From atop one of the highest towers, the same being that watched the heroes and heroines battle the Burning King gained a smirk as he whispered in an amused tone. "Send in the rest."
Hearing another deafening roar, MagnaVeedramon, Arcanadramon, the other heroes, heroines and their allies looked up to see a trio of the infernal dragons emerge from the rift, causing the group to growl with a further frustration, but remain undeterred to the growing despair.
"Ok, we need to close that rift if we're going to stop this." MagnaVeedramon remarked as he watched more of the invaders emerge from the vortex above and then take form on the ground below.
"We keep hitting the priest guys, but they do seem to be what's keeping it opened." Marcus then said with a growing frustration that they can't seem to figure out how to close the rift.
"It might be my new eyes, but..." BlitzKabuterimon began to say, getting everyone's attention as the Digimon of Knowledge then informed his friends. "It seems that whatever is keeping the rift open is from the other side, and is trying to get through itself."
"Then let's break these guys until whatever is above comes out, then we'll deal with it!" FrostKreigermon suggested with a renewed and growing eagerness within his tone, the Warrior of Ice ready to get into the fight as he clenched his axes tightly.
Seeing as they had no other choice or alternate plan, MagnaVeedramon nodded as he looked around, seeing the rest of his friends and allies in agreement, before the heroes and heroines charged at the infernal creatures, each ready to really fight back and take Mt. Brocken back for Witchelny.

Unleashing their attacks simultaneously, MagnaVeedramon, Lightbearer Ophanimon and SacredPhoenixmon struck down a large fraction of the winged imps as BlitzKabuterimon shot straight through them, rushing towards one of the infernal dragons as his swords sparkled with a great array of electricity.
"Lightning Slasher!" The Digimon of Knowledge then announced.
Flying past the infernal beast as he cut through it, the dragon gave a pained cry as it dissolved into flames from the damage it had received.
"Thunder Blaze!" BlitzKabuterimon then exclaimed as he held his staves up high and sent out a series of electrical strikes which struck many of the winged imps, destroying the horde almost instantly as more appeared to replace them.
Refusing to remain left out, ArcaneRafflesimon flew in front of BlitzKabuterimon and the oncoming swarm of infernal beasts.
Bringing her hands together and concentrating, the combined might of Mimi and Palmon summoned a sphere of pure green energy within her palms.
"Rose Blaster!" The Digimon of Sincerity declared before unleashing a powerful blast of nature based energy that cut through and decimated the numbers of the swarm.
Encouraged to continue in her fight, the fairy Digimon then launched herself at the rest of the winged fiends, to show off more of her power and attacks.
"Petal Dance!" ArcaneRafflesimon then exclaimed as she moved with a sense of grace, delivering a series of powerful kicks as she knocked the imps out of the sky.
As pleased as she was with her attacks, The Digimon of Sincerity's smile only furthered to see GrandDominimon fly past her and who then aided within the conflict.
"Sacred Saber!" The fusion of Cody and Armadillomon declared as he swung his sword forth, sending out a shockwave of light energy that cut through a number of his foes, before flying upwards and extending his golden wings out.
"Seraph's Wing!" GrandDominimon called out as his wings began to further shine with a bright light, which was followed by a series of light based energy blasts which rained down upon the infernal invaders, striking down many as those remaining tried to recover from the latest onslaught.
"Shadow Lash!" Zetsubomon then called out as he swung his dark energy whips around.
Striking down a number of the invaders on the ground, Zetsubomon gained a mental smirk to see his foes bested and to see how he had gained such control over his dark power.
Too distracted by his own sense of pride, the fallen angel Digimon failed to notice the trio of infernal priests unleashing a blast of infernal flames upon him, at least not until KnightRosemon appeared by his side, her shield raised and ready to aid the Digimon of Darkness.
"Valiant Shield!" The fusion of Catherine and Floramon called out as her shield then illuminated with a bright energy that seemingly absorbed the infernal attacks within itself, before unleashing a powerful blast of natural energy right back at the priests, destroying them instantly.
"Thank you, my love." Zetsubomon said with a soft sincerity within his tone, his love causing KnightRosemon to mentally smile in response.
But remaining focused on the fight, and working as a team, Zetsubomon and KnightRosemon rushed upon a charging group of infernal warriors.
"Gift of the Rose!" The Knight Digimon declared as she swung her sword with a crescent sweep, the attack sending out a massive surge of nature based energy that struck down many of her foes with ease, before Zetsubomon stepped in and further showed his strength as he and KnightRosemon continued to fight side by side.
"Bunny Pummel!" ShaolinGargomon then announced from his own end of the conflict.
As his fists glowed with a dark green energy, ShaolinGargomon surged forward with a great amount of speed, striking down many of the infernal invaders, before the martial arts Digimon leapt high into the air above a large gathering of enemies.
"Mega Driver!" The fusion of Henry and Terriermon yelled as his right hand surged with a greater amount of energy that the rabbit-like Digimon brought down as he shot himself down and slammed straight into the ground.
Smashing clean through the earth and tearing the ground to pieces, ShaolinGargomon's raw power sent out a shockwave that decimated the infernal enemies around him.
Despite taking down his foes, the combination of Henry and Terriermon moved on with the battle, his focus remaining on stopping all of their foes, no matter the cost and to ensure his friends and loved ones were protected.
"Bunny Stars!" KendoAntylamon announced through a followup attack as she harnessed Lopmon's natural rabbit side.
Leaping high into the air and summoning a series of kunai within her left hand, which she then threw down upon a group of invaders, the kunai exploding upon contact with her foes, before the fusion of Suzie and Lopmon surged down with her bladed staff at the ready.
"Lupine Cutter!" She yelled as she rushed through the group of foes.
Slashing through the infernal creatures and causing them to dissolve in flames before they could even react, KendoAntylamon remained with swift speed and skill through her strength.
Although knowing that his strength wasn't as superior as Takato and Guilmon's, ArcaneAndromon used his newfound abilities to aid within the fight.
"Arcane Blaster!" He then bellowed.
Placing his hands together and as a large amount of energy gathered within it, ArcaneAndromon fired off a powerful blast upward, the raw energy striking upon one of the infernal dragons as it flew on by and caused the beast to cry out in pain and to then crash to the ground below in defeat.
While pleased with his actions, the fusion of Kazu and Guardromon remained prepared for battle as a greater number of the larger infernal creatures moved in to surround him and his friends.
However, looking at the machine Digimon, Mediveal Gallantmon could see an aura of energy begin to radiate around ArcaneAndromon.
"Mana Explosion!" He exclaimed, the name causing Medieval Gallantmon, MysticSakuyamon, Jeri, ShaolinGargomon and KendoAntylamon to momentarily freak out and to try and get their friend to cease in the attack, only for found a powerful blast of energy then shoot from out from the machine Digimon's body, incinerating a great line of the infernal warriors with ease.
Much to their surprise, however, as the energy passed them, Jeri and the four Digimon didn't feel any pain or suffer any damage, but they felt their own energies renewed from ArcaneAndromon's attack, which showed the dual sides of his abilities.
When the energy faded, Medieval Gallantmon, MysticSakuyamon, Jeri, ShaolinGargomon and KendoAntylamon looked to see ArcaneAndromon at the centre of a crater, the machine Digimon letting out a joyous cheer.
"This is awesome, man!"
Sweatdropping a little to see some of Kazu's personality and over enthusiasm coming through ArcaneAndromon, the Digimon Tamers remained focused as they charged at their foes and continued within their conflict.
"Eclipse Cutter!" EclipseRhihimon declared as the Warrior of Darkness fought alongside his friends.
Darkness forming and gathering within his shoulder pads, the energies then spread outward and covered the entire area in darkness, which left the infernal warriors in the dark and blind to the location of their foe.
But before any of them could react, the invaders were cut down by a series of slashes within the darkness, dissolving into flames as the shadows vanished, revealing EclipseRhihimon standing in the same place as more invaders surrounded him.
"Shadow Fang!" The Warrior of Darkness then yelled with might as a massive shadow formed around his being.
The Darkness then took form, transforming into a sphinx that shot out against the charging invaders, destroying them instantly through its devastating power.
"Frozen Slasher!" FrostKreigermon then bellowed as he shot past EclipseRhihimon and showed his own power.
Cutting through a number of the infernal warriors and landing a few feet away from Koichi, the Warrior of Ice then noticed a group of the larger fiends charging toward him, which he prepared to counter.
"Zero Force!" The Warrior of Ice then announced as a chilling wind formed around him.
Through the chilling winds and causing ice to materialize around FrostKreigermon, the ice formed into the shape of a dragon's head, which bellowed with a fearsome roar and was followed by a powerful blast of sub-zero wind, freezing the infernal invaders in their place, who then shattered into pieces.
Having a moment of respite, CrimsonAldamon and GaleSilphymon flew down and joined their friends, who remained back to back alongside the Warriors of Flame and of Wind as the infernal forces continued to surround them.
"Hope you boys aren't too tired." GaleSilphymon said with a small playfulness within her tone, internally happy to have Koichi and Tommy at her and Takuya's side this time.
Grinning under his helmet, FrostKreigermon replied with an eagerness in his tone. "After the story you both told us about from your last time here, all I could think about was coming here and seeing this world for myself. I'm glad to have gotten the chance."
"And now that we're here, we won't stop protecting this world." EcpliseRhihimon added in reply, his words and the determination within his voice receiving nods from his friends as the four Legendary Warriors launched themselves at the invaders and prepared to push them back so they could save Witchelny from the invasion.

Working together through a bonded teamwork they had formed, Marcus and Yoshi cut through a group of infernals.
Acting as part of the DATS team, Thomas charged ahead, his claw-like blades charging with energy.
"Crescent Blades!" Thomas exclaimed as he slashed and cut through his foes, the DATS genius moving at speeds he had never moved in before as he swiftly cut the invaders down through his attacks.
Stopping for a moment, Thomas then saw a group of the infernal monks launching themselves ahead.
Guided by his new instincts, the wolf's head on his chest opened up and energy began to gather within his core.
"Full Moon Force!" Thomas declared as a powerful blast of energy shot forth, consuming and destroying the monks in the process.
When his attack finished, Thomas felt slightly disoriented and nearly collapsed, but was stopped as Marcus and Yoshi caught and prevented him from falling over.
"It takes a bit to get used to, but you're getting the hang of it." Marcus remarked, his words receiving a confirming nod from Yoshi as both remembered the first time they fought in their Digi-armours that they too had to work on their newfound powers and abilities.
Nodding in understanding, but feeling Gaomon's senses informing him of danger, Thomas looked to see more enemies approaching, where the three DATS members worked as one and charged at their enemies, a sense of pride filling the Norstein to be able to fight alongside his friends once more.
In another part of the city, Torikkusutumon stood still as a number of imps and infernal warriors charged at him, before the ninjutsu Digimon performed a series of hand signs.
"Digi Ninja Art: Shadow Projection!" He called after running though the last of his signs and released a blast of smoke to then cover the area, stopping the invaders in their tracks for a moment, before their eyes widened to see a small army of Torikkusutumon surrounding them, shadowed duplicates of the original.
"Mantis Blades!" The army of Torikkusutumon then announced as their signature weaponry appeared within their hands, before the ninjutsu Digimon struck through a number of the invaders through their combined strength and teamwork and numbers.
As the battle raged on, a group of the infernal priests were about to unleash a barrage of fire upon Torikkusutumon, to strike down the army of dark replicas and their creator, but stopped p when they heard a sudden burst of crackling of lightning behind of them.
"Dark Kitsune Claw!" ShadowKitsunemon bellowed as she rushed past the priests, her claws cutting clean through her foes, her claws destroying them instantly.
However, ShadowKitsunemon seemed to tensen up, the dark energy surging around her as she saw more foes approaching Torikkusutumon.
"Shadow Thunder!" The fusion of Airu and Opossumon cried out as the dark lightning grew in size and transformed into a gigantic fox made of pure electricity, the sight of which caused the infernal invaders to stop in their tracks as the beast let out a fierce and savage roar, before lunging toward its perceived opponents.
Finished with his own fight, Torikkusutumon turned and sweatdropped to see the massive fox decimating their foes, the fusion of Yuu and Damemon gulping slightly to see ShadowKitsunemon at the centre of the beast, her eyes glowing a bright red through her mask as she let out a feral cry, slashing her foes and tearing buildings apart like a wild animal.
Coming to Torikkusutumon's side, LordShoutmon, ShaolinArresterdramon and AncientMervamon watched with their own bewilderment as the dark lightning fox then exploded in a blast of energy, incinerating the remaining invaders, before the group rushed to catch ShadowKitsunemon as she collapsed to the ground, the fox ninja Digimon landing in Torikkusutumon's arms as she felt slightly exhausted.
"Wow... that must have taken a lot out of me, but it looks like I blew them all away with that attack!" ShadowKitsunemon commented with a proud tone, her words causing Torikkusutumon and the others to sweatdrop as realization hit them.
'She has no memory of what she did during that attack.' The four thought with a shared concern of what could occur the next time ShadowKitsunemon would use that ability, or just how much damage she would inflict.

"Saver Blast!" ArcaneRevivemon bellowed alongside the other Appmon as he unleashed a powerful blast of energy from his mouth and his stomach mouth.
Combining his attack with his friends as they annihilated the swarm of imps surrounding the final infernal dragon, the fusion of Rei and Hackmon then surged through the air and towards his foe.
"Spiral Lance!" He bellowed as the draconic Appmon held his spear forward and prepared to attack.
Charging ahead, spinning his body at great speeds and punching through the dragon, who let out a cry as its body dissolved into flames, ArcaneRevivemon flew down with Sagemon and rejoined their friends within the battle.
"This is so groovy having you fight with us, ArcaneRevivemon!" BardMusimon remarked with an approving thumbs up.
To BardMusimon's sincere and approving words, ShogunOujamon brought their fists in the air and said with a great confidence. "And together, we'll give these creeps a big bang punch they'll never forget!"
Mentally smirking, the fusion of Rei and Hackmon was about to respond, only to stop as he and everyone else defending Mt. Brocken felt a surge of energy coming from the rift above the city, causing MagnaVeedramon, Arcanadramon and the others to look up and upon the sky.
"It comes!" One of the infernal priests declared as a massive conglomerate of infernal flames came down from the rift and began to form at the centre of the city.
"Praise the coming of the Avatar of the Infernal Legion, the Burning King's will manifested! May this world burn in its wake!"
As the massive amount of energy came together, the rift above then closed, but not before the being took form, growing larger than even the colossal infernals from before, leaving a sight that worried the heroes and heroines.
Resembling a massive demon, the creature had four massive horns protruding from its head, with a mane of fire that spread from its head and all the way down to its spiked tail.
Clenching its clawed hands, the Avatar looked towards the heroes and heroines, seeing them despite having no eyes, and let out a massive shriek of rage, the force of which shattered buildings in the process.
Sensing the immense power of the creature, of this Avatar, MagnaVeedramon, Arcanadramon and the other heroes and heroines could feel the immense power of the Infernal Legion and the Burning King flowing through this beast, letting the group know that this would not be an easy battle.
Steeling themselves, the heroes, heroines and their allies prepared to face this new foe and do whatever must be done to save Mt. Brocken and Witchelny, no matter the cost.
