-next day-
When the hoglet awoke he stayed as motionless as possible at finding he was laying in someone's hand but he noticed it was gray fur, confused he sat up a bit only to have a finger press him back down though that made him freak out and start struggling harder to get free though the finger simply pushed harder in response making him gasp in pain.
"You better stop, I can crush your ribs like a grape."
The hoglet froze at that and looked up to meet the threatening gaze of what appeared to be a hedgehog a very tall one and he realized this must be a regular mobian but those two sharp fangs told him otherwise and almost immediately he remembered what had transpired the day before and it made him shudder in fear of what they were planning to do with him.
"Aw don't worry little one we won't do that again.. Until tonight." the gray hedgehog smiled darkly.
"W-why..?" the hoglet stammered, ears dropping.
"Because that is what a vampire does, they feast on one's blood and I must say yours is the best I've ever tasted and my family can agree with that." the gray hedgehog said, gently stroking the hoglet's belly with his claw making the young blue fairy tense as shivers ran up and down his spine. "So we all agreed to keep you, though in turn for your survival we only ask one thing in return."
"W-wh-what?" the hoglet whimpered.
"Every night we will feast on your blood till you pass out." the vampire answered. "And we do not accept disagreements so I guess you can say are our little prisoner."
"A-all you want i-is my b-blood?" the hoglet asked quietly. "N-nothing more?"
"Yes, all we want is a drink of blood and nothing more." the gray hedgehog confirmed.
"I-I stay.." the hoglet agreed. "C-can do a-gain?"
"You like being drank from?" the gray hedgehog queried, raising a brow.
"Y-yeah.. I-it p-painfull." the hoglet replied, a small smile appearing on his face. "I-it all I-I know."
"Hmm, well alright but only because you want it." the vampire nodded slightly, moving his claws to where they were pushing the hoglets head and shoulder apart a bit.
He then sank his sharp fangs into the hoglet it flinch but other then that he held still allowing the hedgehog to drink his life blood, both closed their eyes as the gray hedgehog continued to feed till the hoglet started to feel lightheaded he then pulled out and proceeded to lick up the bloody mess.
The hoglet curved slightly into the warm tongue and waited till he was clean again before opening his eyes again to see the gray hedgehog licking the remaining blood from his lips, ears twitching slightly he relaxed in the hedgehog's hand accepting his fate.
"A brave little fairy aren't you." the gray hedgehog mused, gently stroking the hoglet's belly and chest. "Well at least you are smart enough to know when you are outmatched."
"W-what your name?" the hoglet asked, tilting his head slightly.
"I will answer that question only if you answer mine." the gray hedgehog replied, ears flicking back a bit. "What is your name and how old are you?"
"Um.. I-I'm S-Sonic and I-I'm eight y-years old as of yesterday." the hoglet answered.
"Why happy birthday then." the gray hedgehog congratulated, quite entertained with this little conversation.
The hoglet stared at the gray hedgehog in shock before starting to tear up.
"What is wrong?" the gray hedgehog inquired.
"Y-you f-first person t-to s-say that to m-me.." Sonic smiled slightly. "I-in my entire l-life."
The gray hedgehog paused and stared at the hoglet completely dumbfounded for he didn't mean to make the young fairy happy or at least this happy.
"Th-thank you.." Sonic rubbed his eyes.
"Your.. welcome?" the gray hedgehog responded rather confused.
Sonic slowly sat up and looked up at him, his ears twitching slightly as he forced himself to hold back any other tears. "N-name?" he asked curiously.
"Oh.. I am called Mephiles." the gray hedgehog nodded shortly.
"Do you o-only feed on b-blood?" Sonic questioned.
"No, but it is our favorite treat." Mephiles answered.
"Oh.." Sonic mumbled, looking down.
"Now I am wondering something else.." Mephiles said, putting a claw under the hoglet's chin making him look up. "Why do you like pain so much?"
"B-because I-I grew up m-mistreated and bullied.." Sonic whispered, ears folding back. "P-pain is my life.. I-I don't know anything else."
"Hmm, so we caught not just a child but an abused child." Mephiles mused, removing his claw from Sonic's chin to pet his blue quills instead. "That is unfortunate."
"I-I disagree." Sonic muttered, lowering his head as the petting continued down his spine of course not touching his wings.
"And what of your family don't you care that you will never see them again?" Mephiles asked.
Sonic stopped moving completely, his heart sinking in sorrow. "I-I have no family.. I-I'm an orphan."
"Well, it just makes things easier on us." Mephiles shrugged off.
Sonic flinched at that and ears dropping completely he turned away and tried his hardest to hold back his sobs that soon escaped a little making his small frame tremble violently. "I-it d-don't m-m-mat-ter.." he whimpered, putting his hands over his eyes as he went to full out crying. "I-I am y-yours n-now.. I-I have n-no need to l-leave.. N-not like I have a-any home t-to g-go home to th-thanks t-to th-th-the w-werewolves."
"Werewolves?" Mephiles repeated. "What about werewolves?"
Sonic shook his head slightly and not wanting to talk anymore he fell onto his side where he curled up tight tears flooding his vision as his heart sank even further. "I-I d-don't care!" he cried out hiding his face completely.
Mephiles stared in shock and slight amusement as he watched the kid close himself off from the world around him.

Sonic lay curled up in Mephiles' arms not making a sound or even trying to get in a more comfortable position for he was too busy staring off into space his mind wandering, though it didn't take him long to notice the change of scenery, he found they were walking down the halls of the mansion and Sonic caught glimpse of outside every time they passed an occasional window, it was around evening now and the sun was setting to make room for night that was nearing.
He watched quietly as they went down to the dining room where he nearly tried to run away from for there was a bunch of hedgehogs sitting at it, it made his fear spike but he held it back and forced himself to stay still as Mephiles went to his spot and sat down with Sonic still in his grasp.
"You know it is more advisable to keep it locked up." a yellow hedgehog muttered, pointing a fork at the hoglet who quivered a bit.
"Well we've got to have some entertainment." the fourth countered.
"Entertainment? You can barely see him." the third grumbled slightly.
"I guess it would be entertaining to see him dodge peas from a catapult." the yellow hedgehog snickered.
"No, he is to remain still." Mephiles disagreed.
"Oh come on Mephiles, we just want to have a little bit of fun with him." the purple hedgehog smirked mischievously.
"Fine, but whoever hurts him will get less dessert." Mephiles growled slightly, taking the hoglet by the scruff and setting him on the table in between all of them.
Unsure Sonic looked around but froze finding himself in a minefield of dishes that had different types of foods he didn't recognize, suddenly he heard something whoosh right past his ear or more of whole head and the sound made him jerk to the side to avoid the danger that already passed, confused he looked over to see the yellow hedgehog throwing small green balls that were tiny to them but to him they were like bowling balls.. Whatever those were.
Panicked he dived out of the way to dodge another, he wasn't sure as to why they were doing this but he was sure it was some form of bullying which he accepted as he always did.. Unfortunately. He jumped and dodged away from the cannonball peas till he was finally able to take cover behind the water pitcher.
"Hey little fairy dodge these." the purple hedgehog called to the hoglet who looked at him in confusion.
Sonic looked and noticed a bunch of peas all lined up in a row on the table for quick shots and sure enough the purple hedgehog started flicking them towards him making him jump out of the way but when he did the yellow hedgehog did it some more as well making him run and dodge to avoid fire.
Knowing they wouldn't stop Sonic went right in between the two and drew their fire before jumping high into the air and using his wings to get himself to their head height where they continued firing, Sonic then dove out of the way just in time to have the burst of peas to hit both hedgehogs, landing safely on the ground the hoglet looked up at them with a smirk evident on his face as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Why you little.." the yellow hedgehog growled, wiping the peas from his face and looking down at Sonic who got ready to jump.
Sonic giggled mischievously and jumped onto the end of the spoon in a bowl sending a bunch of mashed potatoes to the yellow hedgehog where it hit him square in the face, Sonic looked over at the purple who had his teeth bared in anger, getting quite mischievous he went over grabbed a whole bunch of peas that he threw up into the air, he then flew up and curling into a tight spiky ball he hit every pea in a very quick succession causing them to splat on the purple hedgehogs face.
Though once he uncurled he didn't notice the yellow hedgehog who swatted him right out of the air causing him to fall down, Sonic fell through the air and before he could even think to stop himself he landed directly in the gravy bowl, panicked he struggled to get out but was failing miserably, letting out a small chirp he fell under the light brown substance that swallowed him whole.
Irritated Mephiles stood up and reached in before pulling the poor thing out of the gravy ocean and set him on an empty space on his plate so as to not dirty the table, he then used a finger and wiped the stuff from the hoglet's face so it could breathe.
Sonic gasped in a desperate breath and tried to rub his eyes but he paused realizing that would just make things worse, ears dropping he let out a pitiful squeak as he slowly sat up.
Mephiles then took a napkin and wet it down a bit before proceeding to clean the hoglet's face completely so he could open his eyes and look around.
"You know my brothers are not a good idea to mess with." Mephiles told the hoglet who squirmed as he got wiped off. "Especially with Fleetway and Darkspine who are quite competitive and take some games too seriously."
"Th-that game?" Sonic asked quietly.
"They are my youngest brothers and they like playing with their food." Mephiles growled slightly.
"Are you sure we can't have an early dessert?" the purple hedgehog-Darkspine whined, propping his head up on his elbow.
"Yes, after all this little hoglet needs to eat as well or he will not survive." Mephiles stated, as he finished cleaning the young fairy.
"I-I eat?" Sonic wondered, looking up at the gray hedgehog. "n-no.."
"Sorry shrimp but you can't escape it when Mephiles wants you to." Fleetway smirked.
"Some learned the hard way." the black hedgehog snickered, looking at the yellow hedgehog who glared daggers at him.
"Yeah best to just eat and get it over with so you don't have to go through that trauma though it does sound like fun to watch." Darkspine smiled evilly making the hoglet shudder.
"I-I.. don't w-want to.." Sonic shook his head ignoring their warnings.
"Ooh.. bad move." Fleetway muttered darkly.
"He's definitely in for it." Darkspine added.
"D-don't care." Sonic huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Fine, have it your way." Mephiles hissed, pinning the hoglet down so he couldn't get away and taking a bit of potatoes that he forced into Sonic's mouth and keeping the little hedgehog's mouth shut hard he rubbed his throat forcing the hoglet to swallow.
Mephiles continued this for a bit till Sonic couldn't hold anymore, he then released his grip allowing the hoglet to get up which he did and almost immediately ran away where he hid behind the gravy bowl.
"Warned ya." Darkspine shrugged, finishing up his dinner.
"chicken." Sonic muttered, his teeth bared a bit as he curled up on the table.
Once dinner was done they cleaned up and Sonic sat waiting on the corner of the table staring at the floor, when they finished cleaning Mephiles picked the hoglet up by the scruff and they went to the living room where they sat down Sonic laying limp in the gray hedgehogs arms.
"Now?" Darkspine pressed, ears twitching a bit with anticipation.
"Darkspine relax, it's not like it is going anywhere." the black hedgehog sighed, leaning back against the couch.
"You ready hoglet?" Mephiles asked, watching Sonic quiver before nodding.
"G-go ahead.." Sonic smiled slightly. "Take y-your t-time."
Not needing an invitation Mephiles pulled the fairy close to his mouth where he nested his fangs into the hoglets tender skin near his neck, he then slowly sucked up the crimson liquid taking pleasure in every drop till his turn ended, Sonic was then handed to the others who did the same and they repeated the process till the fairy finally passed out signifying enough.
And the last one who didn't get their full turn licked the remaining blood from the hoglet's fur, once completely done Mephiles took the hoglet back and held him close as he gently stroked Sonic's quills.
