Author's note: this is an alternate take on the Gladiator scene of Season 3's episode, Battle of the Hunks. Almost everything is the same except I changed a bit of Tai's character, and added a few extra bits of the guy characters.

Proasis Island 5:14pm

"Let's go" Sam commanded.

Sam, Clover and Alex fly to the roof of the Gladiator dome.

In their view below, there is a crowd of robotic gladiators, yelling, cheering, and jeering. With one guy in the center of the arena. A clearly confused and nervous Tai.

"That's not Boy Candy, that's Tai" Alex gasped.

"In some kind of creepy Thunderdome contraption" Sam added.

"Wonder what he's doing in there" Alex inquired

A pair of Robotic Gladiators come up behind him.

Tai slowly looked behind him still in shock of the situation he's in.

Sam gulped, "Does that answer your question?"

Tai then turns behind him and gets into a fighting stance, scowling and growling ready to put up a fight.

The robotic gladiators look unperturbed.

Tai's eyes widen briefly before narrowing his eyes harder while still in a fighting stance.

Whether it was his desire to leave, live, protect his face or all three, Tai couldn't find any other way out; he was determined take out at least one of them.

The stadium cheers wildly expecting the carnage.

The gladiators ran forward. One raises its sword to hit Tai but he dove side ways.

"What? No weapons?" Tai complained.

The gladiator then thrust his sword at Tai, only for Tai to dodge the hit. With the Gladiator's sword stuck in the wall. Tai jumped at the gladiator with a battle cry. Tai wrapped his arms around the gladiator's neck and legs around it's torso intending to choke the gladiator, Tai hung on and repeatedly punched the gladiator's head like his life depends on it as he gets shaken back and forth like a tetherball. Making it look like a violent rodeo with professional wrestling.

Before the gladiator grabbed Tai by the shirt collar and casually tossed him aside.

Tai was sent rolling on the ground.

Back to the girls on the roof

"If we don't hurry those robo-gladiators will turn him into minced mono-meat" Clover warned

"Yeah, we don't know how much longer he'll last" Alex added.

"Well, the only way to beat a gladiator is to become a gladiator." Sam thought out loud as she used her compowder to become one.

Clover and Alex followed suit literally as they became gladiators.

"You mean gladiatoress" Alex added while twirling one of her swords.

"Exactly, now you two distract the bad guys. I'll save Tai." Sam commanded.

"Got it" Clover and Alex agreed in unison.

Tai barely gets back up only for one of the gladiators stepping forth ready to kill him.

"NO!!!" He yells before Sam jumps in and tackles Tai to safe.

"Don't worry you'll be safe." Sam reassured.

"Oh thank you, and you are?" Tai responded before seeing a terrifying sight in front of both him and Sam, two mechanical lions prowl towards them.

"no time to explain." Sam added

While Tai felt unease about the whole situation, he stood in front of Sam with his arm stretched in front of her before he got into a fighting stance.

"Listen I don't know how you got here, but you need to stand by me, or else none of us will be out of here." Tai grabs Sam's arm, "Come on."

While Sam doesn't object to his sentiment of wanting both of them to survive, she clearly wants it in a different way, making sure she guards Tai.

"Don't worry, I'm a trained professional. Besides you don't have weapons."

Tai sighed while looking at his hands, "Fair point."

"I'll make sure we both get out alive." Sam reassured.

One of the lions is about to pounce,

"Look out!" Tai yelled.

Sam raised her shield and struck the lion with her sword, only for her sword to set chipped by the lion which ate the blade.

Sam got up frustrated, "Huh that's going to hurt, even if you are robotic,"

On the other hand, Clover and Alex were fighting their share of gladiators.

Clover acrobatically slicing a gladiator, while Alex forcefully slices another twice in mid air.

"Alex, Clover Help!" Sam screamed while cornered shielding herself and Tai from the two robo-lions.

"Just a sec." Clover yelled.

"A little busy at the moment" she fighting off the gladiator that was somehow still standing.

"Yeah, busy getting our butts kicked." Alex added while exhauseted from her fight.

Sam still stood by Tai who was confused and somewhat frightened until he finally spoke up.

"Friends of yours?" Tai asked.

"Yeah" Sam answered

"It looks like they need help too!" Tai declared almost oblivious to the situation he's in.

"Tai! Don't worry just stay behind me." Sam said while guarding Tai.

Tai just stuck by Sam's side, hoping he could at least help guard her blind spot.

In the side:

"Well you know what they say At first you don't succeed, swing harder" Clover yelled while fighting the gladiator

"And if you don't succeed a second time?" Alex asked.

The gladiators appeared on both sides of the two, one on each.

"BAIL!!!" Clover yelled as she and Alex jumped out of the way of the two gladiators coming to them on each side, finishing each other off instead of the two spies.

"Nice move spies, how hurry!" Sam added.

Tai and Sam told defensively against the lions, with Clover and Alex jumping in guarding their sides.

"So you think you're tough huh." Clover challenged.

One lion came forward a little ready to strike until somehow it backed away and fled along with the other lion.

Tai widened his eyes in confusion, "What?"

"I guess they don't" Alex mused

"Okay, why was that so easy?" Clover asked.

In less than 2 seconds, metal spikes jutted through the ground capturing the four.

Next scene,

In the dungeon,

"Where are we some kind of freaky prison?" Alex asked. Alex looked behind at the prisoners. Which included Ken R Knightly, JRL Junior, Tony Eagle, and Ty—who was clearly annoyed with being back in the cell.

"Ooh if this is prison I will gladly take a life sentence" Clover squealed sparkly eyed while standing between Tai and Tony Eagle, leaning towards Tai.

"So what are you in for?" Clover asked Tony in a flirting manner while lovingly leaning towards him.

"Something tells me this is worse than prison. It looks more like a human zoo." Sam added.

"You're right, we were all abducted." Ken spoke

"And now we are uh, being held against our uh will." JRL added. With Clover gazing lovingly at him.

"If only I was able to take out at least one of those gladiators." Tai muttered to himself unheard by everyone else. "I wouldn't be back here"

"Not if I can help it" Sam declared in response to JRL.

When Sam kicked the bars the bars rebounded her falling backwards with Alex to catch her.

Enter Felicity Fences*

The rest of the scene plays out similarly as the actual episode before the second arena scene

"For my viewing pleasure you'll be facing my daddy's latest gift. The Magna Glad 5000" Felicity announced to the four guys and three spies in an empty arena.

Sam, Clover, and Alex look behind to see a hulking metal humanoid mass wielding a trident decend from the roof.

Tai raised his hand to Felicity, "Uh question?"

This caught the attention of the spies

"What are you making us fight for?" Tai continued.

"Your lives" Felicity cackled.

Everyone gasps.

" A diary reference at a time like this?"

The Magna Glad pointed its trident at the seven.

Sam, Alex screamed with Tai yelling "Look out!!!". And in a 2 seconds after taking her eyes off of the Magna Glad, so did Clover.

"Bail!!!" Tony Eagle yelled, every one of them avoided the trident except Clover who got stuck in between.

Tai noticed, "Hey, Where is your friend?"

Sam and Alex looked behind to see Clover about to be crushed my the mace of the Giant Gladiator robot.

"You guys stay behind, Alex and I will get Clover." Sam planned.

After Alex and Sam freed Clover, Clover donned the body armor and went toe to toe with the robot gladiator.

The robot gladiator threw the mace at Clover, but much to its surprise Clover blocked ybe mace and threw it back at the monster gladiator crushing its armor, exposing it's circuits, and toppling it to cause it to break the wall.

Sam then looked at the 4 men and gave a nod of approval.

"It's time to head home" JRL confirmed.

"Let's jet." Ken yelled.

"Thank you ladies" Tai yelled before running out snd screaming.

The four men left and stood outside of the Proasis dome. Onky to find Felicity jettisoned out and landing into the arms of an unamused JRL.
