Disclaimer: I don't own Crash Bandicoot.
"Look, Crash! Come and see what I've found!"
On hearing the voice of his little sister call to him, Crash Bandicoot turned his attention away from the trees surrounding him. He may as well go to see what Coco wanted to show him as he wasn't having any luck finding any Wumpa Fruit. Not realising that his favourite food didn't grow at this time of the year, he made his way through the woods - which were filled with a beautiful, colourful atmosphere as Autumn had fallen onto N. Sanity Islands.
Seeing her beloved big brother approaching, Coco smiled at him and pointed to what she wanted to show him.
"Look at that big pile of leaves!"
Crash turned his fuzzy gaze to where some leaves which had fallen from the trees had been gathered. He scratched his furry head. Was that all his little sister wanted him to see? It made a change from her showing him the latest of her inventions - which he always managed to break with his cluelessness.
"They're so nice, aren't they?" Coco beamed. "Orange and bright - just like you, Crash!"
Crash stared at his little sister with a dumbfounded look. The autumn leaves most certainly were as orange as the bandicoot was. To say that he was bright like them, however, was a bit of a stretch.
"You know what to do with these leaves!" Coco said as she beckoned her sibling towards the pile. "Right, big brother?"
Crash grinned broadly. He was certain he knew what Coco wanted him to do with the leaves. He didn't need her to spell it out for him; it was what the mad marsupial did best.
Happy to please his little sister, Crash painted into a spin attack.
He twirled around like a crazy twister, launching himself at the pile. As soon as he struck the leaves, he sent them flying up into the air. The soared high over the heads of the two bandicoots and the tops of the countless trees. Then they came floating gently down through the autumn air to settle down on the jungle floor.
As she watched the leaves come back down,Coco stared in bewilderment. What her big brother had done was not what she'd been expecting at all. All she'd wanted him to do was jump into the pile of leaves. That's what most normal people did during this time of the year.
Coco smiled and sighed. Her brother wasn't normal at all. This sort of thing was exactly what Crash would do. He was such a mad marsupial - and she would never have him any other way.
"Good job, Crash!" Coco said, giving her crazy sibling a thumbs-up! "You've made the woods look all the more prettier! I hope you'll do this again next year!"
Crash watched his little sibling lay down onto her back to lay among the leaves which were falling to cover the jungle ground. He was very pleased to see that he'd managed to satisfy her in his own goofy way. Underneath all that orange furwas a heart of gold. To see his little sister happy made Crash happy as well.
Wanting to see if he could make her even happier, Crash turned to the tree he was stood nearest. He could see that it was full of hundreds of colourful leaves, all ready to fall.
Thinking he could hurry them on their way, Crash launched into another spin attack and flung himself into the trunk at hard as he could.
The tree wobbled for a moment, then every one of the leaves fell down from their branches all at once - to pile up on Crash, covering him completely from head to feet.
"Whoa!" Crash exclaimed from underneath the pile he was buried under.
"Oh, Crash!" Coco giggled in amusement with a shake of her head.
That was her big brother for her.
