Chapter 10

Sora felt bad leaving Donald and Goofy behind, however It wasn't until he got a call from the King on his Gummi Phone. Thankfully Sora tells the girls that he would catch up to them so they wouldn't be listening in to their conversation. Turns out that Master Yen Sid requires them back at the Mysterious Tower!

Goofy: Its ok Sora we will be right here waiting for ya later!

Cleo: Its a shame that you guys cannot come with us.

Donald: We'll be fine, we'll go back to Mako and go on patrol for any Heartless (also secretly check on the Gummi Ship as it was still based out at Mako).

Suddenly a high pitched tone began to play and Sora felt his right leg vibrate.

Emma: What's that?

Sora: Oh must be my Gummi ahhh i mean phone!

Sora looks at his Gummi Phone and notices that King Mickey was trying to reach him.

Rikki: That's a weird looking phone!

Sora: Ahhh...hey why don't you girls go on ahead, i'll catch up to ya!

Emma, Cleo and Rikki understood and began walking ahead. Sora walked towards Goofy and Donald narrowing avoiding the water to avoid transforming again.

Goofy: Who is it Sora?

Sora taps the screen on the Gummi Phone.

King Mickey: Hiya Sora!

Sora: Your Majest...

Donald and Goofy (Screaming): HIII! HELLO YOUR MAJESTY!

King Mickey: Ah you fellas alright? Donald and Goofy sound like they are far away!

Sora: Yeah well guess they kinda are...

Sora moves his Gummi Phone to face Donald and Goofy who were sitting in the shallows of the water.

King Mickey: Ooooo gosh what happened!

Sora: Ummm well its a long story but to cut it short! I now transform into a merman whenever i touch water!

King Mickey: Oh i see...

Donald: Not only that your majesty, this world has Heartless so we are currently trying to defeat them!

Goofy: and to find the keyhole!

King Mickey: Sorry to interrupt you fellas on an important mission even with the circumstances but the reason i'm ringing is that Master Yen Sid has called for a meeting at the Mysterious Tower and requires everyone to be there including you 3!

There was slience and Sora began to look toward Donald and Goofy.

Sora: Your Majesty...I..

King Mickey: Sora, from what i hear you now become a merman whenever you touch water? How extraordinary!

Donald: Yes he does your Majesty and i've tried using magic but its not working!

Sora: Maybe its best if i stay here until i find a way to return to normal but Donald and Goofy you go!

Goofy: but Sora...

King Mickey: Hmmm maybe wise! I'll explain to Master Yen Sid about your situation and we will keep you updated about what the meeting is about. Talk to ya later!

King Mickey hangs up

Donald: Are you going to be alright Sora?

Sora: You guys go and find out what why Master Yen Sid wants everyone. Plus i can protect Emma, Cleo and Rikki with the Keyblade!

Goofy: but what if lots of Heartless appear here?

Sora: So far there are none here on the mainland and only a trickle on Mako. You guys go i'll be fine plus we don't have to use the Mako Island Protection excuse anymore!

Donald and Goofy really didn't want to leave Sora on his own in a world that they really didn't know but they could tell looking into Sora's eyes that they could trust him.

Goofy: Give us a call if your in trouble!

Sora: I will Goofy!

Donald: Behave yourself!

Sora: Ha ha i will and hopefully also be able to dish up some more answers about my merman transformation and learn the secrets of Mako!

Goofy and Donald leave and go out to sea back towards Mako Island. Sora waved to them and bid them farewell for now. He then runs up the beach to catch up with the girls who were waiting for him.

Cleo: Everything alright Sora?

Sora: Yeah it was just...just...my Mom! Everthings fine! (Lying through his teeth).

Cleo: Are your friends going to be ok? You 3 same very close!

Sora: Yeah...we do a lot together! Bit like you guys from what i gather?

Emma: We have been great friends for a long time! Cleo and i have known each other since we were little.

Sora: and you Rikki?

Rikki: I came later in the picture, last year in fac...

Suddenly there was a male sounding voice calling out to them.

Male Voice: Girls! Girls!

They all turn to see a blonde haired boy wearing a full rimmed hat running towards them.

Rikki: What does Lewis want now?

Lewis: Girls i am so happy i found you!

Emma: Hi Lewis

Cleo (quietly): Hi Lewis

Rikki: See that Charlotte has let you out to play!

Emma: RIKKI!

Lewis: I am not Charlotte's property we are just friends that's all.

Lewis still panting looks towards Sora.

Lewis: Ah hi?

Cleo: Its ok Lewis, this is Sora he is a friend and he knows about...you know what.

Lewis: You mean...

Emma: Yes Lewis! (looks at him with a serious glare)

Lewis: Ahh right? Very well...G-Day i'm Lewis! (puts out his hand for a handshake).

Sora: Hey i'm Sora (goes in for the handshake).

Sora has finally met Lewis and the 5 all decide to head to Cleo's house. Lewis wanted to know the whole story on how Sora met the girls and how he got his tail. Sora also had a million questions of his own while being mindful that he was now strandard & the sole protector of this world. Its time to be a normal teenager, will he have to protect his new friends from Heartless on his own?
