Chapter 16
The next day, a decision is made that Lewis should be the one to get rid of Max's research. Sora decides to go for a walk after school alone to clear his head knowing that the full moon was tonight. His first full moon since the change. He passes the cafe and a variety of Heartless begin to appear along with some Dancer Nobodies. While fighting them, he gets a surprise from a member of Organisation XIII.
Cleo: Please Lewis for us?
Sora: We could destroy the research?
Lewis: You can't just destroy history Sora...All right fine! I'll return it all the Max...
Rikki: Come on girls we've got a full moon to prepare for!
Emma: Remember Sora that tonights the full moon...
Sora: Oh yeah! Thanks for the reminder! So what should i do to prepare?
Lewis: You see Sora, the girls normally lets just say hide away!
Rikki: We already have explained to him Lewis!
Sora: You mean like the moon spell? Since i'm a merman will the moon have the same effect on me?
Lewis: Unsure mate! Sorry but it will be interesting to see...
Cleo: You the first merman we know Sora!
Emma: Maybe best that we don't find out just to be sure! You should stick with us tonight!
Rikki: Cya Lewis!
Emma: Hey Cleo, have we got your house to ourselves tonight?
Cleo: Bye Lewis! Ummmmm
Rikki: Sora? You coming?
Sora: I'll catch up with you girls later! I might see if Lewis needs a hand in returning the research to Max after school.
The girls disappear. Sora remained observing the silent Lewis at he put the research into his locker. He then was cornered by Charlotte. He didn't realise that Sora was watching from afar. Charlotte then walked away to retrieve her blown away bits of paper and Sora went over to talk to him.
Sora: Are you ok Lewis? What did she want?
Lewis: She's obsessed with mermaids and she will not leave me alone about them!
Sora: Does she know about me and the girls?
Lewis: No i haven't said a word! Honest!
Sora: Ok ok! I get it! Geez! Well how about i come to see Max with you?
Lewis: Thanks Sora, but i should probably do this on my own.
Charlotte heads back towards them.
Charlotte: Goodness that was lucky! Oh hello, Sora isn't it?
Sora: Hey
Charlotte: What are you boys talking about?
Lewis: Ah nothing just having a guy to guy chat!
Sora: Fishing actually!
Charlotte: Right...
Sora: and thats my que to go! Thanks for the chat Lewis! Nice to see you again Charlotte!
Charlotte: You too...
Sora heads for his next class while having his back turned, he couldn't help hear Charlotte asking Lewis about him.
Sora (whispering under his breath): Gee nosey!
At the last bell Sora leaves school for the day puts his hands behind his back and goes for a walk to clear his head. He couldn't stop thinking about the full moon tonight, what will the moon do to him if he looks at it?. Maybe if he looked at it, it might take the merman curse away from him! Well whatever happens, he was ready for anything that came his way!
Sora: I know the girls said that strange things happen to them if they look directly to the moon. Do i risk it and look at it to see what happens?
He finds himself a few metres from the cafe when he is stopped in this tracks by a group of Mushroom and Aquatank Heartless along with some Dancer Nobodies.
Sora: Seriously? Right now?
Sora summonds the keyblade and begins fighting. There were many. Having defeated half and already was feeling exhausted and brusied forgetting to heal himself in the process.
Mysterious Voice: A bit lonesome without your friends are we?
Sora: Who said that?
Mysterious Voice: oh come on don't stop this is a joy to watch! Its like a enlighting piece of music!
Sora: Show yourself!
Suddenly a figure in a black hood appeared playing a large guitar like weapon.
Mysterious Voice: Geez, its Demyx! Anyway! I came to have some fun! I've been watching you Sora! Ever since you arrived in this world and we at Organisation XIII think you have some sort of... fishy secret! Kind enough to share?
Sora: None of your business!
Demyx: Oh? So its true you do have a secret? Well if that's your attitude! Nobodies the Fire Hydrant!
Sora: NO!
Two Dancer Nobodies destroy a nearby fire hydrant causing it to burst with water flying everywhere like high pressured tornado! Sora wasn't quick enough to jump out of the way due to his exhaustion. He got a direct hit which caused him to transform!
Demyx: So it is true! Wait till everyone hears about this! Heartless! Nobodies! Attack him!
Demyx then disappears in a black and purple portal. Sora trys to reach out but was unable to move due to the weight of this tail on land.
Sora: No Demyx! Come back! ARGH! This, this stupid tail!
He stuffs his face into the ground and unsummonds the keyblade. He thought he was finished until...
One Voice: Sora!
Two Voice: Hang in there Sora, we've come to rescue ya!
Sora: Huh?
Sora looks up, his pals Donald and Goofy had returned!
Sora: Guys!
Donald: Wield that keyblade Sora!
Suddenly Sora received a boost of confidence and managed to defeat some of the heartless and nobodies while still in a tail. With the 3 friends back together they managed to defeat all the heartless and nobodies. Though Demyx had vanished, little did they know they were being watched by Charlotte from behind a tree in a distance.
