Chapter two

Santana was still feeling sleepy when Cassie woke her up and requested five more minutes. Despite Santana's reluctance, Cassie insisted that they needed to get up and go to Carmel High, while Santana attended McKinley. Cassie reminded Santana that she needed to take responsibility for her actions the day before.

Reluctantly, Santana dragged herself out of bed and made her way to the shower. As she was stepping in, her mother Shelby reminded her that they had to leave in 20 minutes. Shelby instructed Santana to be downstairs in 15 minutes so that they could have breakfast. Santana quickly responded, saying "OK, Mom."

Shelby signaled to Cassandra that Santana's Cheerios uniform was washed and in the car. After exchanging kisses, Shelby went to prepare breakfast while Santana got dressed. When Santana asked about her uniform, Shelby answered that it wouldn't be worn that day. The family then discussed school and continued with their day.

At breakfast, Santana showed up with freshly brushed hair and joined her mothers. They praised her appearance, which made her blush, before they sat down to eat. During breakfast, Cassie brought up an important topic that needed to be discussed.

After eating her last pancake, Santana said sorry for her previous actions. Next, she asked Shelby whether the issue had any connection with the Glee Club. Shelby clarified that it was related to the cheerleading squad, not the Glee Club. She also revealed that Santana was grounded and temporarily removed from the Cheerio team. Upon hearing this, Santana got emotional and almost teary-eyed. She appealed to Shelby to reconsider and give her another chance, with the hope of avoiding being permanently excluded from Cheerio participation.

"Cassie firmly spoke, 'Our minds are made up, Tiger. I'm sorry.'

Santana expressed her fury at Shelby and Cassie. She exclaimed, 'You both have ruined my life. I dislike you.' Then, she stormed out of the kitchen and left the room, with Cassie and Shelby allowing her to go.

Cassie, who was Shelby's blonde wife, urged Shelby to leave. They headed toward the car while Shelby loaded the dishes into the dishwasher. At the same time, Shelby called out to Santana to meet them outside. However, Santana became upset and stomped out of the door, slamming it in her mom's face."

"Shelby stopped the door from closing and held Santana's arm. She then gave Santana two swats on the bottom and spoke firmly. "Tiger, I want you to listen to me. No matter how angry you are with us, you need to treat us with respect. Is that clear?"

"Santana replied obediently, saying "Yes, Mom." Shelby allowed Santana to rub her bottom and apologized for striking her in anger. She also put some cream in Santana's bag to help relieve any pain."

Santana was forgiven by her mother, who hugged her before they got into their SUV. Cassie observed the two women and remarked that Shelby was an attractive mother. Santana groaned and covered her eyes, getting into the car."

{McKinley High School}

Shelby wanted her daughter to apologize to the members of the Glee Club and Mr. Schuester. However, her daughter arrived at school and didn't even acknowledge her mothers', feeling upset about being banned from participating in Cheerios and Glee Club.

Brittany and Quinn spotted Santana at her locker and decided to talk to her. Brittany asked Santana why she wasn't wearing her Cheerios uniform.

Yesterday, I got into serious trouble with my parents, and as a punishment, I was not allowed to attend cheerleading practice for three weeks. Latina explained this to her friends. Quinn was concerned that the coach might get upset if she found out, but then Brittney suggested that they ask Lord Tubbington to talk to the coach since he's an expert in blowing a whistle.

"Santana exclaimed it was a good plan for Britt. Quinn apologized for the previous day's events. Santana took responsibility by explaining that if she had kept quiet, the situation could have been avoided, and it was her fault, not Quinn's. Furthermore, Santana revealed that due to the incident, Mr. Figgins had to call one of her mothers."

Brittney asked Santana how angry her parents were. Santana replied that they were extremely upset. Her parents' reaction was severe. Santana got grounded for three weeks because of her actions involving Ape, Manhands, and Mr. Schue.

"Brittany explained that Lord Tubbington had secretly stolen her cell phone and used it to talk to his girlfriend after she caught him cheating on his wife. Santana chuckled upon hearing her friend's comment about her cat."

Quinn told you that Mr. Schue sent you to the office for no reason, causing you to miss practice. Consequently, you weren't there to witness Puck's outburst yesterday.

Santana asked what had happened. Puck had lashed out at Mr. Schue, Rachel, and Finn because they didn't value you as an important team member. Puck made it clear that the team would not have a chance of winning without you. After hearing Puck's outburst, Mr. Schue advised him not to make such comments to Finn and Rachel, because it caused Puck to lose out on his solo performance for Sectionals. Following their conversation, Quinn kindly informed her friend about what had taken place.

"Even though it may be difficult to believe, the Ape and his girlfriend received what they deserved. Kitty approached the three friends and indicated that Coach Sylvester wanted to meet with Santana in her office. As Santana walked towards Coach Sylvester's office, she made eye contact with Quinn and Brittany."

Sue gestured towards a chair and said, "Please take a seat, Tits McGee, in front of her desk." The coach asked why San wasn't wearing her Cheerios uniform.

San explained that her parents had prohibited her from participating in activities after getting into trouble at school. She had been grounded for three weeks and given two weeks of detention as punishment. Additionally, her parents would not allow her an early release. As a result of her actions, the coach removed her as co-captain with Quinn. However, the coach assured San that she would make sure that there would not be any issues during Glee practice in the future. After their conversation ended, Santana left the coach's office.

"While walking to her next class, Karofsky intentionally pushed Santana to the floor, causing her to exclaim 'Ow!' Despite falling, Santana stood back up, pushed Karofsky in return, and issued a warning to watch his actions. She then walked away and headed to the Glee Practice."

Glee_

Quinn and Britney accompanied Santana into the glee room, where Puck noticed that she wasn't wearing her Cheerio uniform. He asked her where it was, to which Santana explained that her moms had grounded her for three weeks and prohibited her from cheerleading during that period.

Upon hearing this, Puck exclaimed, "This situation is appalling, and Mr. Schue is fully responsible!" Santana agreed and thanked Puck for defending her. However, she felt the need to apologize to everyone else and moved to sit in the back of the room. When Mr. Schue entered, she raised her hand and asked for permission to speak to the class.

During her class speech, Santana apologized to Hobbit, Frankenstein, and other classmates for her past behavior. Mr. Schue invited her to address the class, and she expressed regret for her disruptive behavior and unacceptable actions. However, Santana persisted in her attempts to make amends with Berry and Hudson, even though Mr. Schue reminded her that she had finished speaking. Unfortunately, her efforts had consequences, and she was banned from attending The Glee Club and Cheerios for three weeks because of her previous behavior. Santana believed that Mr. Schue was to blame and left the classroom in a fit of rage, leaving her classmates confused.

Later, at her locker, Santana was grabbing her homework books when Rachel approached her and said, "I'm sorry, Santana. If I had not tried to take over the class, you probably would not have gotten into trouble with your parents."

Santana replied, "Forget it, Berry. You asked for it, and now I'm out of your way."

Rachel persisted, determined to win Santana back to the team. "I can speak to your parents. Maybe I can convince them to let you return to the glee club. We need your voice if we are going to beat Vocal Adrenaline," she said.

Santana dismissed the idea, shaking her head. "They won't let me come back to the club," she said in a defeated tone. She walked past Rachel and headed to detention. Watching Santana leave, Rachel sighed.

After Glee Club_

Kitty was unsure who should handle the task of speaking to Santana's parents. During the discussion, Quinn expressed doubt, citing concerns that Santana's strict parents would not allow her to return to Glee. Rachel suggested a plan in which the three of them could try to persuade Santana's parents to allow her to come back. Unfortunately, Puck made an insensitive comment about Rachel's Jewish heritage. Kurt believed that Rachel could have waited for Mr. Schue before trying to take control of the situation, which may have prevented the current dilemma. Despite the setback, Rachel remained confident in her ability to resolve the issue. Puck asked about the location of Santana's parents' place of employment, and Quinn informed the group that they worked at Carmel High. Rachel then invited Kitty and Quinn to join her in discussing the next steps.

During their conversation, Quinn suddenly exclaimed, "Oh no, here comes Santana's mom!" and covered her face. The rest of the group turned to see a tall, blonde woman entering Principal Figgins' office. Kurt recognized her as Cassandra July, a Broadway dancer, and asked if she was Santana's mom. Quinn confirmed that she was, but the reason for her presence was unknown. Rachel faced the challenging task of convincing a former Broadway dancer to permit Santana's return to Glee.

{ Figgins Office}

"When Principal Figgins called out her name, Rachel Berry got up and followed him to his office. A blonde woman was already seated when they arrived. Figgins introduced the woman as Mrs. Cassandra Corcoran -July, the mother of Santana . Rachel's attempt to lead Mr. Schuester's Glee Club had led to Santana Corcoran-July's outburst. Figgins was displeased about this and wanted to talk to Rachel about it."

Figgins inquired to clarify the reason for selecting a song for you and Finn. Rachel clarified that she wanted them to select one song from her setlist so that she and Finn, being the co-captains of New Directions who normally sing duets together, could perform it. I merely proposed the idea for the benefit of the team, but I was not aware that Santana would react violently and try to hit me. Thankfully, the others were able to restrain her before she could make contact with my face.

Cassandra told Rachel, "Your position as co-captain does not give you the right to bully my daughter in Glee club."

Rachel protested, "Your daughter has been bullying me not only last year but also this year!"

To which Cassandra responded, "I find that hard to believe. My daughter will never do such a thing. Moreover, if she had, Principal Figgins would have a record of it."

Rachel explained, "I didn't report her because I knew she would make my life even more miserable than it already is. She has already thrown slushies at me and now she is calling me names, even though I have done nothing to her.

Cassandra firmly stated, "Don't try to act innocent with me, young lady! I've dealt with people like you before who think they are entitled to everything. Everyone must follow the law, and my daughter shouldn't suffer because of your anger."

Rachel responded, "I don't believe I'm entitled to everything, but it is true that Santana has been harassing me for some time now. Anyone in the glee club can attest to that."

Mrs. July asked Figgins to reach out to her child and confirm or deny what Ms. Berry had claimed. Figgins agreed to do so and informed her that Miss Santana Corcoran-July would have to come to the office as well. Shortly after, Santana noticed her mother in the office and inquired as to why she was there.

Yesterday, I told you I wanted to talk to the girl about a matter that arose in your Glee Club. However, I found out that this same girl had been enduring your bullying for a while, and that she is also the same individual you have been clashing with in the Club. Tiger, please look at me and tell me the truth. Santana deliberately avoided making eye contact with her mother.

During the discussion, Santana denied bullying Rachel and instead accused Q. Santana's mother pointed at her daughter, holding her responsible for unjustly blaming Q. Since Santana's mother could easily detect lies, Santana energetically protected herself against the allegation. We plan to have a conversation with Quinn about her part in the bullying, and we will still communicate with your mother at home to make sure that we can resolve this issue completely.

Rachel accused Mrs.July of being deceived by Satan and also implicated Santana. After hearing this, Cassandra immediately sought clarification from Rachel. Rachel went on to explain that she had accidentally called"Santana" instead of "Satan." Despite this explanation, Cassandra insisted that both Ms. Berry and her daughter be referred to by their respective real names. Additionally, Cassandra brought up the issue to Principal Figgins and asked what actions could be taken against Ms. Berry.

"Ms. Berry, this is your first warning. Mr. Schuester has the freedom to teach his class according to his standards, and each student has the right to choose their song. Your attempt to take over Mr. Schuester's class was completely unnecessary and could have been avoided," Principal Figgins stated firmly. "Any further misconduct will result in a two-day detention."

Hearing this, Rachel was taken aback and attempted to defend herself.

"During Mr. Schuester's absence, I took on the role of co-captain for New Directions and distributed a setlist of songs for the group to choose from. Finn and I usually performed together as part of my duties. Rachel explained.

Cassie was dissatisfied with Mr. Schuester's teaching approach, and she believed that it can cause misunderstandings and disagreements. While she acknowledged that her daughter may have behaved poorly in the situation, Cassie felt that everyone involved should share responsibility. She thought it was unfair that only her daughter was punished, and the other students faced no consequences."

According to Principal Figgins, Mr. Schuester gave the other student involved in the incident a one-day detention. Cassie inquired, 'When is our conference with Mr. Schuester?' To which Figgins responded, 'He will be available tomorrow afternoon after school.' Cassie then stated, 'I will schedule it on my calendar, and I request that both girls apologize to each other.

Cassie shook her head when Santana called her "Mama Santana. "Don't 'Mama' me,'" Cassie said sternly,

Santana apologized to Rachel for all the things she had done to hurt her. She promised not to repeat them.

Rachel thanked Santana for apologizing and expressed hope that they could become good friends someday.

"Thank you. I would like that," Santana responded.

After the conversation with Principal Figgins, Rachel waited for Santana outside his office.

{Outside of Higgins office }

Cassie informed Santana that her mother would pick her up from after-school detention and take her to rehearsal. She offered to let Santana wait in the office until the practice was finished, and the two shared a hug. Before leaving, Cassie let Santana know they would be meeting again soon. While Santana and Cassie were interacting, Rachel noticed them looking at her.

Santana asked Rachel why she was still there, but Cassie reprimanded Santana for her lack of courtesy. Rachel mentioned she wanted to talk to Santana's mom about Glee. After they finished their conversation, Santana walked away to her detention.

The blonde dancer explained that Santana would not be rejoining Glee this semester, and Cassie explained the situation before turning to leave.

"Mrs. July, please wait a minute," Rachel said, stopping Cassie who was about to leave.

Cassie then explained to Rachel that Santana's behavior in school had caused her to distance herself from the glee club for the time being. it would be best to keep her away from the club for now. Cassie apologized and quickly walked away, leaving Rachel to ponder the situation at hand.

"Kararsky physically assaulted Santana when she turned the corner to go to detention. He forcefully pushed her towards a locker and covered her mouth. He also threatened to slap her if she made any noise. Despite her compliance, he proceeded to slap her with full force. Santana was visibly shaken and she clutched her face as she rushed to attend detention with Mr. Schue."

{Detention}

Mr. Schue noticed that Santana was late and told her that she was one minute late. Santana apologized and explained that she was delayed at the Figgins Office. She then asked if she still had to attend after apologizing.

Mr. Schue confirmed that Santana had to attend the detention. He explained that Santana's use of foul language towards Finn and Rachel was the reason why she was still in detention. He also advised her to speak up instead of mumbling. Santana questioned why Mr. Schue was singling her out.

Mr. Schue denied doing so unfairly and said that he only disciplined those who deserved it. Santana then began working on her English homework while Mr. Schue shut the classroom door. He asked Santana why she always picked on Rachel and speculated, "It's because Rachel is a better singer than you?"

Mr. Schue was accused by Santana of not giving everyone in Glee Club a fair chance to sing because he only wanted Berry and Finn to sing. He disagreed and believed it was due to intimidation. When Santana attempted to leave, Mr. Schue prevented her from doing so until he felt it was appropriate. Santana's mother was waiting for her outside of the school, but as a consequence of Santana's tardiness, Mr. Schue made her wait. Eventually, Santana was permitted to leave detention and exit the school.

As Santana got into the passenger seat, she noticed her mom looking at her with disappointment. Shelby stated, "Before my Vocal Adrenaline practice, we need to have a private conversation."

Santana agreed, "Sure, Mom," buckled her seatbelt, and gazed out the window. She had already told her mother the truth about Quinn bullying Rachel. The older brunette pulled out of the McKinley parking lot and commented, "That's a fascinating story you're spinning, Shelby. Why were you leaving the school 10 minutes later than the other students who had detention with you?"

Santana complained, "Mr. Schue held me up for no reason."

"He must have had a good reason to do that, honey," the older brunette said, driving and glancing at her daughter.

"Mama came to my school to talk to Rachel about what happened in glee club yesterday in Principal Figgins' office. Then, Principal Figgins called me to the office, and I was a minute late for my detention. I tried to explain to Mr. Schue why I was late, but it didn't matter. He made me stay late anyway," Santana explained to her mom.

"Did Mr. Schuester listen to your explanation about the situation that occurred in the principal's office?" Shelby gently asked.

"Santana said he's still mad at me for yesterday. I apologized to everyone as you told me, but I'm still annoyed with you for throwing me off the Cheerios, Santana said in anger.

Shelby cautioned Santana to be careful with her words. She reminded her that she was already grounded and that she could add another week to it. As they arrived at Carmel High, Santana looked out the window and complained that Shelby was being unfair.

"The older brunette touched her daughter's chin and told her to look at her. 'I know you're still angry with us for removing you from the cheerleading team, and it may take some time for you to forgive us, but we did it for your good.'

'Mom, I like being a cheerleader,' Santana said.

'I know, Tiger. But sometimes, being popular means having a role, and that role often involves hurting the geeks at the bottom of the totem pole. Am I getting warmer?' Shelby said."

Santana assures her mother that she did not hurt anyone.

Shelby responds, "Even if you did not physically hurt someone if you allowed your friends and teammates to hurt someone weaker than them, that is still wrong. You must recognize that not everyone who you consider a friend is one. They may be taking advantage of you, and when they no longer need you, they will abandon you. You must defend your weaker classmates at times. This will reveal who your true friends are."

Santana confronts Shelby, "So, are you saying that I should befriend someone unpopular?"

Shelby clarifies by saying, "What I am saying is that you should treat everyone with kindness, and never belittle anyone. They might be going through difficult situations, just like you did before. So, you can empathize with their struggles, my dear."

"Santana sighed at her mother's words.

Shelby asked whether you and Quinn were both involved in bullying the girl

Santana shook her head and replied, "No, Mom, it was Quinn's mom."

Shelby stared at her daughter and said, "I know you're not telling me the truth, honey. We will talk about it at home. I want you to go to Mama and my office and write a 2,000-word apology letter to Rachel. Then, I want a four-page essay about being kind to others. I expect to see them on my desk before we go home after my rehearsal," Shelby said sternly.

"It will take me all night to finish the essay, Mom," Santana whined.

"No, it won't. Now go start on it," Shelby said, pointing to Carmel High School's door.

Santana mumbled before getting out of the truck with her backpack and going into the building, with Shelby following her."

Carmel high school

Shelby escorted Santana to her office, where she placed her purse in a drawer before closing it. Santana then seated herself at her mother's desk. "Why did you bully this girl who's been troubling you?" Santana's mother asked. "Mom, I wasn't bullying her. You may not have realized this, but Rachel has a tendency to irritate people with her insistence on doing things her way," Santana explained.

Shelby strongly opposes personal bullying and believes it is unjustified. As a result, she has demanded it stop. On the other hand, Santana is angry with Rachel for blaming her and causing her problems.

"It's not Rachel's fault, honey," Shelby said, "It's about you bullying this girl and placing all the blame on Quinn because you wanted to be on top."

"Santana yelled, 'I swear I didn't touch the girl, Mom!' However, Shelby didn't back down. She grabbed Santana's arm to lift her out of the chair and then swatted Santana three times on her behind. The swats caused Santana pain, and she began rubbing her sore behind while crying.

When Santana approached Shelby and expressed her frustration that "She thinks she's better than everyone on the team," Shelby offered some sound advice. She suggested that ignoring people and not reacting is usually the best approach to handling such situations. After hugging Santana, and apologizing to her Shelby encouraged her to start working on her assignments. She then kissed Santana on the forehead before letting her go start her practice.

"Santana grabbed her paper and pen and began writing Rachel a written apology letter before starting on her four-page essay.

{Vocal Adrenaline Rehearsal. }

After returning, Shelby found Cassandra leading the dance routine whilst chanting, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5. People, pick up your feet." During a private rehearsal, Quinn, Rachel, and Kitty quietly joined in. Cassandra warned that the students would have to stay longer if the choreography continued to be performed poorly. She then clapped her hands and began counting, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5," urging them to begin again. Cassandra informed them that they would work on the song that Coach Corcoran had given them for the next ten minutes. Additionally, she emphasized that they would continue to work on the dance routine as well.

Coach Corcoran advised her students to stop complaining and focus on beating the other teams at the upcoming competition at sectionals. After taking a five-minute break and grabbing a Red Bull, the students returned to the stage to begin practicing the four songs assigned by their coach the day before.

Coach Corcoran started the dance routine by assisting the students in positioning themselves on the stage, while Ms. July did a countdown, saying '1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,' and finally gave the signal to start."

"Coach Corcoran says that to beat both New Directions and other teams, you need to do better than what you're doing now. Ms. July has instructed everyone to start over with their steps."

When it comes to her students' dance moves, Ms. July has the strictest standards, while Ms. Corcoran holds her students to high expectations for their vocal performance. While Quinn was in the audience, she quietly spoke to her friends and noticed Cassie and Shelby. Quinn then informed them that S's mother was the choreographer and the other woman standing next to her is S's other mother. However, San was nowhere to be seen.

After an incident at the glee club involving Rachel, Finn, and Mr. Shue, San's parents were angry with her. During the ensuing argument, Kitty directed her anger at Rachel, who defended herself against Kitty's accusations. Both coaches were dominant in comparison to Mr. Shue, the surprising Kitty.

Cassandra heard some voices coming from behind her. Shelby yelled at her students to take a five-minute break. Cassandra quickly sat down next to Shelby and whispered, "I think I heard someone in here. I'm going to go check it out." Shelby nodded and agreed, "Alright."

As Cassie went up the stairs, she saw Quinn whispering vehemently to Rachel and Kitty, instructing them to remain silent to avoid being caught. Cassie observed that Quinn was accompanied by two unknown individuals and called for her to come down and greet her instead. Cassie was soon reminded that she could not attend Vocal Adrenaline private rehearsals.

The three girls were caught off guard and turned quickly as Cassie approached. "We apologize for interrupting your private rehearsal, Kitty, Rachel, and I, but Ms. July, this is important to us. Despite being from a rival team, we sincerely want to speak with you and Ms. Corcoran," said Quinn as she stood up.

Cassandra examined Rachel closely and wondered why she always seemed to be involved in conflicts with someone. She vaguely remembered Rachel mentioning it previously.

Cassie confirmed her decision that Santana won't return this semester, despite July's request to reconsider. Shelby emphasized to Santana that their decision is final. Meanwhile, Quinn remarked that Rachel wasn't causing any trouble this time and suggested discussing the possibility of letting Santana return to the Glee Club.

During her examination of the Vocal Adrenaline coach, Kitty commented, "You bear a striking resemblance to someone called man-hands." Present during the conversation, Shelby asked curiously, "Who are man-hands?" Kitty then pointed to Rachel and introduced her as the person she was referring to. Shelby stared at Rachel in surprise and exclaimed, "You're the famous Rachel who my daughter talks so much about!"

Rachel glanced at Quinn, then turned to Ms. Corcoran and apologized for causing harm to her family. She clarified that she didn't intend to get Santana in trouble and admitted that she didn't know how Santana would react. Rachel added that if she had known, she wouldn't have done it.

"As Santana looked out the window, she spotted Quinn, Kitty, and Rachel casually walking toward Quinn's car. She was completely unaware of Cassie's approach and was startled by a sudden swatting motion that left her crying out in pain. Cassie apologized for interrupting, asking Santana if she had finished her letter and essay before telling her to get back to work.

Santana had finished her letter and was on the last page of her essay when she asked her mother for a break due to her hands hurting. Her mother denied her request, prompting Santana to pout. Cassie chuckled softly, complimenting Santana's cuteness, but also noting that they needed to discuss her attitude at home. Santana begged her mother not to spank her again, tears streaming down her face. Cassie then revealed that Santana had lied about bullying the other girl, and was involved the whole time. Despite feeling ashamed, Santana apologized through sniffles. Cassie reassured her that she wasn't just apologizing because she was caught, and she even ran her fingers tenderly through Santana's hair.

"I know, but I mean it, Momma," Santana said. Cassie kissed her on the top of her head and suggested they watch the last 20 minutes of the rehearsal before finishing the essay. Santana gathered her books and papers, putting them in her bag and slinging it over her shoulder. She held her mother's hand as they walked out of the office and headed to the auditorium to watch the rest of the rehearsal."

"San sat down in the auditorium while her parents attended the Vocal Adrenaline practice. She nodded her head to the music while she finished writing the last page of her essay. Her moms glanced at her daughter from time to time during the rehearsal and noticed her putting her paper in her backpack. Finally, Santana watched the last five minutes of their dance routine before Coach Corcoran dismissed everyone for the day. She then sat down next to her daughter. She passes her mom her Essay and the apology letter so she can read it.

Shelby announced that she needed to grab her purse from the office before they could head home and enjoy a peaceful dinner. San's mom echoed this sentiment and instructed her to remain where she was. San watched as both of her mothers made their way back to the office to retrieve their dance bag and purse

"While leaving Carmel High School building and walking towards her car, Shelby put the papers in her purse. She noticed Quinn and the other two girls were still there."

Rachel was shocked upon discovering that Santana's parents belonged to the opposing team. She found out that one was the choreography teacher, while the other was the Glee coach. Rachel was surprised that this crucial information was not shared earlier, which made her feel like they were likely to lose.

Santana confided in me and asked me to keep it a secret. However, Kitty could not wait and shared the news with the Glee club. They were all surprised. Before Quinn could respond, Santana interrupted them from behind.

"Santana looked at them and asked, 'What brings you here? What do you want to tell the Glee Club?' Rachel replied, 'We came to plead with your parents to let you come back to the Glee Club. Kitty was just speaking her mind. I apologize for anything I did wrong in Glee Club.'

Ms. July intervened, 'Don't be rude, tiger. Wait in the car while we talk. Here are the keys.' Santana stomped off to the car and got in. 'She's just having a bad day, girls. Don't take it personally,' she explained.

Shelby asked, 'Did Mr. Schuester know you three were coming here?' Rachel, you already apologized for everything, and it will take time for us to all forgive each other. You can't keep showing up here like this.'

The group responded in unison, 'No, we waited until Glee Club rehearsals were over before coming here. We won't do it again.' Quinn asked if she could stay longer at their house, and Shelby raised an eyebrow in response."

"Quinn, you're more than welcome to stay at our house anytime," Shelby tells her, touching her hand. "Pack a bag and we can talk at the house."

"I know, but with S in trouble, I didn't want to intrude," Quinn says.

"Nonsense, Quinn," Cassie says, smiling. "You're a part of our family no matter what."

Quinn smiles and asks, "Can Kitty come too? I'll explain more when I come over."

"Sure," Shelby and Cassie say in unison. Shelby looks at Kitty and says, "Pack a small bag and we'll see how it goes."

Kitty nods.

Quinn hugs Shelby and Cassie before letting go and getting into her vehicle, so she can drive Rachel home.

Shelby and Cassie got into their vehicle so they could go home. Cassie suggested ordering takeout since they were going to have more company that night. Shelby nodded in agreement, took out her phone, and ordered from her favorite Chinese place. They picked up the food on their way home and glanced at the young brunette in the back seat who was crying. Shelby asked if everything was okay and Santana eventually admitted that she was afraid of another spanking due to her sore behind from the previous day's punishment.

"Sweetie, I know you're feeling hurt after yesterday, but it's important to remember that bullying others to fulfill your own needs is not acceptable," Shelby said. "We cannot ignore that behavior, so we're going to have to take action. You will be grounded for two months."

Santana groaned as she looked out of the window. She conveyed her regret and offered apologies to her two mothers, saying "I apologize to both of you, Mom and Mama". She wanted to ensure that her mothers fully grasped the depth of her sincerity and remorse, and felt confident that she would not repeat her actions in the future.
