Hello everyone! I was going to wait until October or November to work on this new story, but I really wanted to make this now. Now, I've been debating on what the plot for this story will be, but I might use the other plot in the future. I'll explain what that plot is when the story is over :) Anyways, I hope you enjoy this first chapter!

"Man, I can't wait to taste Peach's Strawberry Shortcake!" Mario said, licking his lips as he imagined eating the delicious dessert.
"Me too! Her baking is the best!" Luigi added.
The two brothers were making their way to the castle to hang out with the princess. Daisy was on her way to the Mushroom Kingdom to see everyone, too, which was even better. Mario looked around at everyone in Toad Town. The Toads were smiling, laughing, and playing around town. Mario smiled at this.
"Everything's been so peaceful lately." He said.
"Right? It's great! Let's hope it stays that way." Luigi replied.
"Hey guys!" The two turned to the left to see Princess Daisy running towards them.
"Oh, hi Princess!" Mario greeted.
"You guys ready to eat some cake?" She asked. The two cheered in response.
The three arrived at the front doors of Peach's castle. Two Toad guards smiled and let them inside. They walked through the halls until they arrived in the dining room. Peach was standing at the table, adding a few more strawberries on top of the cake. She looked up and smiled at everyone when she noticed them.
"Oh, hello everyone! You're just in time! I just finished baking this cake. Now, I just need to pour us some tea."
"It looks delicious, Princess!" Luigi said as he sat down at the table, the others doing the same after.
"I bet it tastes delicious, too!" Daisy added.
Peach giggled and poured some tea for Mario. "I'm sure it'll be very good."
Once everyone had their teacups, Peach began to cut everyone a slice of cake. She smiled as she handed each friend their cake.
"It's so great that Bowser or any other enemies haven't attacked the kingdom lately," Peach said after taking a sip of her tea. "We can actually relax and have fun!"
"Yeah! Y'know, we should do something fun since there's no chaos." Daisy replied.
Luigi grinned. "You're right, Daisy! But, what should we do?"
"Hmm," Mario began to think, "Well, we did have a party recently, so maybe not that."
"And I'm already planning on having a Baseball game in a month, so we can't do that." Daisy said.
After thinking for a minute, Peach spoke up. "I know! How about a go-kart race?"
"That's perfect! We haven't had one of those in awhile!" Mario grinned.
"Then it's settled! We'll have a go-kart race!" Peach replied.
"Great! So, who should we invite this time?" Daisy asked.
"Hmm. Well, I'm sure Pauline and Rosalina would love to join." Peach said.
"I guess we should invite Wario and Waluigi too. Maybe Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong also." Mario added.
"Should we invite the Koopas this time?" Luigi wondered.
Peach frowned slightly. "Not this time. I'm still upset that they ruined our vacation in Serene Isles and kidnapped Princess Summer before."
"I hope Bowser doesn't freak out over not getting invited. Remember when he wasn't invited on that cruise that time?" Daisy said.
"Ugh. He and those Koopa Kids caused us trouble..." Luigi groaned.
"Since you mentioned her, Peach, why don't we invite Princess Summer and Kai this time?" Mario suggested.
"Oh, that's a great idea, Mario! Maybe we can invite Princess Krystal, Prince Sterling, and Melody too!" Peach replied.
"Maybe Queen Flora and Princess Esmeralda! Oh! Princess Eclair too!" Luigi said.
"Yeah! We could invite more people we met while in the Crystal Kingdom. We did meet more royalty there." Peach smiled.
"Man. We met A LOT of them. I'm sure some of the rulers of the Cloud Empire could come if they're not too busy." Daisy replied.
Everyone sat there and began to think. Who else could they invite? There's Princess Chanel of Fashion Land. Queen Bean and Prince Peasley could come too! But, who else?
Then, Mario thought of someone. "I know! How about Princess Carol?"
"Right! She's the princess of the Frosty Kingdom! I'm sure she'd be happy to race!" Peach grinned.
"You know, we should visit her kingdom someday." Daisy replied.
"We should. I bet it looks beautiful with all of the snow everywhere! But, let's invite her to the Mushroom Kingdom first." Peach smiled.
After finishing their tea and cake, Peach grabbed a pen and some paper and began to write letters to everyone she wanted to invite to the go-kart race.
