Summery – Shadow has an enemy hell bent on getting revenge and that's to turn him into one of his own kind. Which causes Shadow to gain some different abilities and one of these is mind reading what will happen when his eyes are set on a certain pink hedgehog

Chapter 1
It was a dark stormy night as thunder crashed through the skies, lighting hit trees every now and then. Rain poured down, soaking everything in its wake, running through the trees of the Mystic Ruins was a hedgehog, he was panting heavily and holding his stomach very tightly.
As lightning struck yet another tree the hedgehog was forced to stop as it stood in his way. He held his body against the tree by his back. The hedgehog rubbed his forehead and took some breaths, his eyes darted all around his surroundings as if he was looking for something.
Not seeing anything the hedgehog slid down to the ground, now sitting on it and he looked down to his stomach. He slowly removed his hand and winced when he spotted blood "dammit," he growled and he closed his eyes. A loud shrieking noise, caused the hedgehog to flinch and he went back to holding his stomach. He clenched his teeth and looked all around the wooded area, the lightning struck in the shadows revealing another hedgehog spreading wings and glowing red eyes.
The hedgehog on the ground eyes went wide, he found himself not able to get back on his feet. The hedgehog with wings walked ever so slowly towards him. "You can't escape me this time, I will have my revenge Shadow."
"Hehe your idea of revenge is pathetic, don't you have something better to do?!" Shadow growled trying to use the tree to pull himself up, but he found it quite slippery he fell and was he was soaked.
"You will be on my side soon enough, then you'll know what it's like to me," The hedgehog with wings smirked out.
The hedgehog was now in Shadows face as he placed his hands on his shoulders. Shadow tried his best to shake him off but this hedgehog was really strong. The black and red hedgehog gasped when he saw two sharp teeth appear in mouth. "You'll regret biting me, I'll never be on your side!" Shadow shouted.
Shadow closed his eyes as the hedgehog with the wings inched ever so closer and closer. He aimed for his neck and using his sharp teeth he bit into Shadows neck. Shadow closed his eyes and winced "ack!" The hedgehog with the wings smirked as he pulled back blood dripping from his mouth.
"You don't taste to bad Shadow. I'll shall leave you now, we will see each other again," the hedgehog with wings chuckled with a smirk on his face as he watched the red and black hedgehog fall to the ground shutting his eyes.
Rain poured on the hedgehog with wings and he spread his wings wide "hmph," he muttered as he looked at Shadow. He suddenly picked up the wind in his wings and flew off.

Sun shinned brightly through the Mystic Ruins as little droplets on water fell from tree branches. Still out cold and laying on the ground was a red and black hedgehog known as Shadow the hedgehog. Water from the tree branches he was next to splashed on his face causing him to jerk up in alarm. He winced as was forgetting how sore his stomach was.
Letting out a grunt he winced as he pulled himself up by the tree he was next to. He slowly opened his eyes and looked down at his stomach removing his hand from it "how could I have been so reckless? I should have been able to take on that hedgehog," he growled out as he removed his hand.
"Hm, I need to get this seen too but where can I go?" Shadow sighed and closed his eyes "I'm close to the foxes workshop I wonder if he would mind? Perhaps If I give him some rings, I just hope faker isn't there," Shadow sighed once and started to the walk towards the workshop.
It didn't take Shadow too long to get to Tails workshop he let out a breath and knocked on the foxes door. "Just a minute!" Came the voice belonging to the yellow fox. The hedgehogs ears perked up from all the noise he was making from the inside.
Slowly opening the door Tails appeared in his tool belt and goggles on. His eyes went wide as he looked upon who was standing there in front of him. "Sh-shadow?"
"Hello, fox I'm in need of assistance if you wouldn't mind helping me out? I'll pay you," Shadow said with his hand slowly removing itself to reveal a nasty looking gash.
"Uhhh wow uhh I can help you come in, please excuse the mess I'm working on a real big project," Tails said embarrassed.
"It doesn't concern me," Shadow said taking no notice of the mess.
Tails lead the way in and took Shadow through his house then into the work shop. "Here Shadow take a seat on those bar stools, and I'll get the first aid kit," Tails gestured towards three bar stool that were sitting next to a counter top in a very small opened plan kitchen.
Shadow nodded and sat down wincing a little bit. Tails flew up to the top of one of his cabinets and grabbed a green box. "Ok everything we need is in here," Tails flew down and took a sea next to Shadow.
The fox was very quick at helping Shadow who sighed when the pain eased a lot he did wince a little when Tails was fixing him up. "Thank you Tails here's the rings. I really appreciate this," Shadow then stood up.
"Oh, you don't have to pay me Shadow. I was happy to help," Tails said giving the hedgehog his rings back.
'I can't believe I just helped Shadow of all people.'
Shadow eyes went wide he looked around he was certain Tails didn't say that at least not out loud "what just was that?"
Tails raised his eye "um are you okay Shadow?"
Shadow shook his head as he stood up from the stool "I must have imagining it," he muttered "hm, I'm fine, I gotta go now thanks for your help."
"Oh, ok see ya later Shadow," Tails waved as he watched the hedgehog walk through the workshop door.
