Ms. Sano, the assassin who tried to kill The Major in EP 23 of SAC season 1 has returned and has been reintegrated into society after it was find that The NSS were providing the info about The Laughing Man Case to them. And once again, she wants to be close to The Major, but for a 'different' reason. Much to a certain PM of Japan's jealousy.

It wasn't even supposed to happen. In fact, it just shouldn't have happened. But following an investigation that doesn't go as planned, Motoko must suddenly take care of a child and has no clues about what to do and how to handle that task. A first one here for Ghost in the Shell for me. One-shot here but it might go into a story or something, but in this one the Major ponders on in what means to be truly human and what it's mean worth fighting for knowing she's a government android agent keeping the peace around.
