Amy and the Vampire

Chapter 2

Shadow made his way through the streets of Station Square he held his head in his hands. Voices consumed his head he couldn't understand what was happening, "what is happening to my head? So many voices ack!" Shadow exclaimed, startling a few people near him.

Shadow growled and kicked his shoes into action "I gotta get outta here!" He uttered and raced down the street and soon he reached the outskirts. He skidded to a halt on top of a cliff his right leg waffling a bit, but he got it under control, he breathed heavily as he gazed upon the city view.

"Strange I don't hear voices anymore, hmm I wonder if this is something that vampire has caused against me," Shadow pondered as he closed his eyes and folded his arms.

The hedgehog opened his eyes and looked up at the sky he jumped slightly at a voice that was familiar to him he realised this was a voice out with his head.

"Hey shades what's up?!" It was Sonic the hedgehog.

The dark hedgehog sighed in annoyance at the sight of the blue hedgehog he turned his head away "faker..I thought I told you to stop calling me that?!"

"Hey, I'll stop that, when you stop calling me faker, you're the fake one here!" Sonic playfully chuckled at the hedgehog and poked him in the chest.

"What do you want Sonic? I'm busy," Shadow said turning his head to the hero who now stood beside him.

"There I knew you could do it, that wasn't hard was it? What can't a hedgehog just come and say hi to a friend…you don't look busy either," Sonic smirked.

"We're friends?" Shadow said raising his eye.

"Of course we are! You helped me save the world after all." Sonic grinned at the red and black hedgehog.

"hmph," was Shadow response.

'he's hiding something..'

Shadow eyes went wide he heard a voice in his head again, but it wasn't a clutter of voices like before, it was one voice and it sounded like Sonic's. The only thing was that Shadow realised the blue hedgehog wasn't even talking. "What?" Shadow asked turning his head to Sonic.

"Uhh, I didn't say anything. Annyway I was actually looking for ya Amy's having a party in her house on Friday and asked me to find you to ask if ya wanna come?" Sonic asked looking hopeful.

"I'm not interested in any party, I'll respectfully pass, but tell Rose thank you for the invite." Shadow said with a smile in thought of the pink hedgehog.

Sonic was disappointed to hear this "oh come on Shadow please we can hang out and Amy misses you." Sonic pointed out.

"Don't push it Sonic, but It would be nice to see Rose, fine I'll come but only to show face, then I'll leave." Shadow sighed in defeat he really did miss Amy she was always so kind to him and always offered him a place to stay within her home whenever she saw him.

"Great we'll have a blast you'll stay longer than you realise. I gotta go catch ya later Shadow!" Sonic uttered giving the hedgehog a wave and turned on his heels and ran off leaving the dark hedgehog too himself.

Shadow sighed "he's probably right. Hmm now I can't hear any voices," He said to himself. He stood for a while watching the city enjoying the peace and quiet, it was soon getting dark and the moon came shinning through the clouds.

Shadow twitched slightly "hmm," he raised his eye in wonder at the cause of this, suddenly he got a headache "ack what is this, what's happening too me?!" the hedgehog held his head "ahhhhh!" He screamed his eyes twitched and he opened his mouth suddenly a large tooth poked out at the front of his teeth.

Shadow dropped too his knees and another sharp tooth appeared across from the other one at the front of his teeth. The red and black hedgehog paused for a moment and suddenly he opened his eyes, which were now a darker shade of red. He let out a hissing sound and took a breath in something smelled good to him. He smiled at the sight of the city and suddenly took off towards it.

A few days later it was a sunny morning on a Friday and in a house belonging to a pink hedgehog said hedgehog was waking up to sun rays in her bedroom. Amy yawned as she stretched while she sat up on her bed.

"That was a great nights, sleep must of needed it," Amy mumbled rubbing her eyes. She jumped out of bed and opened her windows to let fresh air in. "Today's the day of my party I gotta try and get things ready." She smiled and went straight to getting things set up her friend Cream the rabbit and her chao cheese were coming over to give her a hand with the buffet she was planning to have.

The pink hedgehog was busy decorating her living room, as the TV played in the background. The news was on and Scarlet Garcia was present it, Amy however wasn't really paying too much attention to it, her ears perked up at the sound of her door bell. The faint words of the TV reaching her ears as she left the room.

"And we have reports of yet another attack on a citizen, authorities have doubled in an attempt at trying to catch the attacker. People are saying that this is an attack of a vampire victims are said to have teeth marks on their necks more on this as it comes…."

Amy failed to hear this as she greeted Cream at her door, "hi miss Amy." The rabbit smiled at seeing her friend.

"Hi Cream and Cheese thank you so much for coming over to help me with the buffet," Amy smiled back at the rabbit.

"Oh, it's no problem miss Amy we're always happy to help out." Cream replied and entered Amy's home. They started getting the buffet done, they got finished about half four and all that was left, was the two of them to get ready the party started at half five.

The choatix were the first to arrive, Tails was next and Cream's mum Vanilla came soon after which made Vector happy he smiled at the older rabbit. Rouge appeared in a bit, and a few other friends of Amy's came along Sonic was last or so he thought.

Amy greeted Sonic now normally the pink hedgehog would have jumped on Sonic and he'd run away, but the pink hedgehog has changed, she no longer chases after the blue hedgehog. She has calmed down a lot over a couple of years. Though she still has slight feelings for the hero, she and Sonic have become better friends, and he no longer runs away from her.

"Thanks for coming Sonic, did you happen to find Shadow? While out on your run a few days ago?" She asked.

"No Problem, Ames, love a party. I did actually he said he'd show face, but he didn't say when he'd arrive." Sonic replied recalling his conversation with the red and black hedgehog.

"Hmm, wonder what he's been up to," Amy wondered as she and Sonic walked into the living and the party. Everything was going well the pink hedgehog ears perked up at the sound of the door bell.

"Just coming! Excuse me guys," Amy exclaimed moving around her friends as she made her way to the door she opened it and let out a gasp.
