Attack of the Mousers

"I would've thought I'd live a normal life, excluding having mutant turtles and a mutant rat as my family, being trained in ninjutsu."

The ninjas that ambushed Alex and the Turtles surround them, ready to fight.

"I guess that was too much to ask for."

In the old lair, Alex and the Turtles readied their weapons as Mousers entered through a hole they made through a wall.

"In the past forty eight hours, we were attacked by these killer robots called Mousers…"

Alex and the Turtles all got busy destroying the Mousers that attacked them.

"...which destroyed our old home…"

The ceiling of the old lair caved in, separating the brothers from Splinter.

"...and ended up fighting against a whole swarm of ninjas."

Each of the brothers are seen taking on the various ninjas, who were relentless and didn't give up.

"We soon made an escape in an armoured truck…"

Alex and the Turtles made their escape in the truck, Donnie driving it, of course.

"...found ourselves a new home…"

The five were stunned to see the place that would become their new home.

"This is beyond awesome!" Mikey said, taking the words out his brothers' mouths.

"...and we then got attacked by even more Mousers."

The five all stabbed, smashed and sliced apart any and all Mousers coming their way.

Then April ran and tripped, screaming as she was about to be attacked by the Mousers that were chasing her.

"And we also managed to make our very first rescue."

All of the Mousers that chased after April were all destroyed by Alex and the Turtles.

"And this is the first time the guys have ever been this close to a human being that wasn't me."

"Hey, how you doing?" MIkey asked April, revealing himself to her, making her faint.

"And of course, Mikey had to ask the most stupid question."

"Can we keep her?" Mikey asked as he carried April in his arms.

After a stern word or two from Splinter, Alex and the Turtles brought April back to the lair and placed her on the couch, waiting for her to wake up.

Eventually, during midday the following day, April moved and she opened her eyes.

"Oh, man, what a dream. Turtles fighting robots? Did I fall asleep watching TV again?" She said to herself as she lifted her head off the pillow she was resting on. But then she glanced over and saw the Turtles and Alex. "That was the… the weirdest thing I've ever seen."

She was shocked and even scared when she looked at all the Turtles, even with Mikey winking and clicking her tongue.

Alex stepped forward and knelt in front of her so that she could look at him.

"Don't worry, they don't want to hurt you. They're actually good people. Just -" He started off trying to calm her down, but Mikey leaned in, saying "Hi."

This made April scream at the top of her lungs, which made Mikey scream as well.

"MIKEY!" Alex snapped at him. "I told you that I would be the one to talk to her!"

"I only just wanted to say 'hi'!" Mikey whined, displaying his hands, which further put April into a state of shock.

"It has three fingers!" She gasped before she grabbed the pillow and put it over her head, closing her eyes and repeating over and over again "I'm asleep."

"This isn't going very well." Donnie admitted.

"It would have if Mikey didn't try to talk to her." Alex glared at Mikey.

"What? We haven't talked to any humans except you." Mikey tried to defend himself.

April continued chanting until she stopped to see that she was in fact wide awake before covering her face with the pillow. "I'm so asleep. I'm asleep. I'm asleep. I'm asleep."

"Man, she's making me sleepy." Mikey said after he yawned.

"Hey, you." Raph tapped April on the shoulder, seeing that this was getting them nowhere.

"What?" April said frantically as she lifted the pillow away from her face.

"What do you know about those Mouser robot things?" Raph asked her.

"Well, first I thought they were for cleaning up the city's rat problem, but then I got suspicious when Dr. Stockman said -" April was explaining before she cut herself off. "Oh, no. I'm talking to it."

"What?" Leo asked, unsure of what she meant.

"I'm talking to it - to you!" She replied before she started talking to herself. "Okay, April, you are talking to a giant three fingered turtle. The only logical explanation is that you're dreaming, so everything's okay." She then turned her attention back to Leo, now with a dreamy look on her face. "Hello."

"Hello, April. How are you doing?" Leo asked, a bit perplexed and looked over to Alex, who shrugged.

"Oh, I'm fine. Everything's absolutely great." April replied before she gasped upon seeing Splinter appear before her.

"Then perhaps you are ready to answer some questions." He said.

"You're - you're a -" April stammered until she fainted from shock.

"You sure have a way with the ladies, Master Splinter." Donnie said sarcastically as Leo held his head with concern and Alex shook his head with a sigh.

"Yeah, quite the charmer." Alex remarked, which earned him a side glare from Splinter. "Now what?"

"Let's nudge her." Leo suggested as Mikey went to grab his MP3 player and headphones.

"I don't know if that'll wake her up." Alex was sceptical.

"I'll snap her out of it." Raph volunteered.

"Raphael, no!" Splinter scolded, knowing full well what he would do.

Meanwhile, Mikey went over to a long chair and sat as he put on his headphones.

"Aw, somebody get me when she wakes up." He told everyone before turning on some hip hop music.

Meanwhile, on the surface, people were doing their usual routine, some needing to do some business in a bank.

A man walked up to a woman behind a counter with a wad of cash he wanted to keep safe and as she started counting it, everyone heard a loud clanking sound, which came from behind the large vault door.

Inside the vault, the tiled floor started cracking, which caused the whole building to shake.

"What is that?" A blonde woman asked with worry before everyone started running and screaming.

"Earthquake!" One of the other people cried out.

Soon the vault floor burst open with dust, Mousers climbing out of the hole.

The bank manager watched the security camera footage from inside the vault, but all he could see was dust and the lights from the Mousers.

"What in the world…?" He said, utterly perplexed until he saw footage from other security cameras in the vault, seeing the Mousers properly until one of them bit the camera, destroying it.

All of the Mousers were ripping deposit boxes out of the walls and ripping them open to carry valuables like money, paper and coin, purses and necklaces in their mouths.

Baxter Stockman watched all of this in his control room at StockTronics on the monitor of his control computer, laughing maniacally.

"These security measures are pitiful, an insult. Nothing can stand in the way of my consummate genius." He said with delight.

At the back, the alarm was blaring loudly as a couple of police cars arrived and parked, the two officers inside them running to the entrance, where they saw people running and screaming.

They entered through the revolving door and the manager ran up to them.

"This way, please! Something's happening in the vault!" He explained frantically, sweating as he pointed at the vault door.

He led them over to the vault, opened it with the combination and all three gasped upon entering and seeing the hole the Mousers made and the vault in ruins.

Back in the lair, Mikey was still listening to hip hop music, patting his plastron with hand and with his eyes closed.

Raph then approached him.

"Hey. Hey, Earth to Mikey!" He shouted so that Mikey could hear him.

"Ow!" Mikey whined before taking his headphones off. "What?"

"She woke up. Alex made her some tea, and she's ready to consider we might be real." Raph informed him.
"Awesomely radical, dude!" Mikey cheered.

"Huh. You keep talking like that, she's gonna pass out again." Raph joked as he walked to join back up with everyone else.

"Hey." Mikey frowned in offence.

April took a sip of the tea Alex made for her as Mikey came over. Donnie sat on the left couch arm while Alex sat next to her, making her feel a little more comfortable, being with another human. And sitting opposite her was Splinter in the armchair with Leo on his right and Raph on his left.

"So, you okay now?" Mikey asked.

"Yes, thanks." April replied, looking at him calmly. "I've decided this is either a very long dream that I keep not waking up from, or it's the weirdest thing that ever happened to me."

"Young woman, we have something most important to discuss." Splinter said with seriousness.

"What?" She asked.

"We have never revealed ourselves to the upper world. You have placed us all, even Alexander, in great danger." He explained.

"But, Master Splinter, she was in trouble, and we helped her." Leo argued against him, pointing out the good he and his brothers did.

"Yeah, aren't you always teaching us to try to do the right thing?" Raph agreed with Leo, which wasn't common.

"As you grow older, you will learn there are many ways to do the right thing." Splinter replied to Raph before he sighed, his focus back on April. "But there is no going back. I'm afraid we find ourselves at your mercy."

"Oh, I would never tell anybody. I mean - heh - who would believe me?" April assured him.

"She's got a point." Donnie pointed out.

"Yeah, mutant turtles and a rat living in the sewers sounds like it's right out of a comic book." Alex backed up what Donnie said.

"Yeah, we're unbelievable!" Mikey said, striking a pose.

"Jeez, where's your off switch?" Raph wondered.

"I don't think he has one, unfortunately." Alex said with pity.

"Seriously, I promise." April swore, placing a hand on her chest.

Splinter got up from the armchair and walked up to April and knelt before her, looking her right in the eyes.

"I believe you." He said.

"Is this another lesson, Master Splinter, how to sense the truth?" Leo asked quietly, bending down beside him.

"No. This is called trusting your gut." Splinter replied.

"Only you can try to make everything a lesson." Alex told Leo, who playfully glared back at him.

"What's wrong with that?" Leo asked.

"Nothing." Alex shrugged.

"So if I'm keeping your secret, what exactly is it? Who are you people? Uh, turtles? Uh, whatever? And how do you have a human living amongst you?" April asked, wanting to know more.

"I have memories." Splinter replied, as he was about to tell her the story of how they came to be. "Memories of when I used to be what you might call normal."

Splinter, a very normal rat, came out of a cardboard box, looking for food of some kind, sniffing garbage bags in an alleyway.

"I remember a day that started like any other, but ended changing the course of many lives."

Splinter ran out into the street, still sniffing for food.

"I witnessed an accident."

Nearby was an intersection with pelican crossings, where five people stood, waiting to cross the road. They were a young man and woman, an African American teen, an elderly woman and a young boy with a glass jar containing certain reptiles.

"A young boy carried a glass jar with four pet infant turtles."

On the right of them across the street was an elderly blind man, who used his cane to sense he was at the road and started crossing.

"An old blind man was crossing the street when he was almost run down by a large truck."

The blind man wasn't aware that the lights changed and a large truck was speeding down the road. At the rate it was speeding, it would've hit the blind man if the African American teen didn't see the situation at hand, hearing the truck's horn blaring.

"Hey!" He called out, running over to the blind man, accidentally bumping the boy, making him drop the glass jar with the four turtles, which smashed open upon making impact with the street, the four turtles drifting towards a storm drain.

"Look out!" The African American teen shouted right as he pushed the blind man out of the way, this causing the truck to swerve to a stop.

"As the truck swerved, a metal canister bounced out of the back."

When the truck came to a stop, the back doors flung open and a metal canister filled with glowing green ooze shot out and landed next to the boy, who was on his knees, watching the turtles drifting away, the canister doing the same.

Both the turtles and the canister soon fell into the storm drain. The turtles fell down a waterfall and bounced on their shells before landing on their feet. Then the canister fell and smashed open over them, covering them in ooze.

"It smashed open, releasing a glowing ooze which covered their bodies."

Splinter approached the four ooze covered turtles, who looked up at him.

"I took pity, gathering them up in a coffee can."

Splinter grabbed a nearby coffee can, rolling it towards the turtles before putting it upright.

He grabbed the closest turtle by the tail and held up to look at the rather cute little reptile.

It then shook off the ooze that it was covered in, which splattered all over Splinter's face before he wiped it off, frowning at the turtle, very unamused.

Splinter took the four turtles to his little alcove, which had furs to act as a bed.

"I took them to my burrow."

After making sure the four were asleep, Splinter curled up and fell asleep as well.

The following day, one of the turtles touched Splinter by the nose, waking him up. He looked at them and was stunned: they were larger than they were the previous day, all of them staring at him with smiles.

"The next morning, I awoke to find the four had doubled in size. The ooze had affected their growth."

Splinter then noticed that he too had changed as he examined his paw, now hand. He was now larger, being more humanoid, and found out that he now had human-like intelligence.

"It changed me also, making me larger and more intelligent."

With his change, he can now walk on two feet, and is being followed by the turtles, all in single file, as they make their way through the sewers.

"They followed me everywhere except aboveground. I knew the people of the surface would not understand. We are so different."

One of the four turtles ended up walking for a moment on two legs, grinning as he did so.

"I was amazed by their dexterity, but even so, I was not prepared for what happened one day."

One of the four turtles stopped and looked up at Splinter and did something totally unexpected.

"Splinter?"

Splinter turned around, shock evident on his face.

"They actually spoke my name. Soon they all were speaking. And then one day, I found and brought back the latest addition to our makeshift family."

It was some days later after one of them first spoke. The turtles were all in Splinter's burrow, waiting for him as he went up to the surface, surprised to find him back so soon, but with something in his arms: it was a blanket wrapped bundle of a one year old human baby with a tuft of brown hair.

"What is that?" One of the turtles asked as they looked at the baby, who looked back at them with curiosity, his cooing being evident.

"Your new brother, Alexander." Splinter told the four, surprising them. They all then started talking over themselves, saying they'll be good brothers and that they'll make examples, making Splinter chuckle.

One day, Splinter came back to his sons with a full pizza. The five all sat around it, Alex now wearing toddler clothes.

"Awesome!" The one who would eventually be named Leo said, licking his lips in hunger.

"Mine!" The who would be soon called Raph snarled, shoving Leo aside as he chuckled, ready to dig in the pizza, but was stopped when the turtle who'd soon be Donnie jumped onto his shoulders and grabbed his head.

"Pizza, dude!" He grinned.

"Hey! Get off me!" Raph growled as the fourth brother, who'd be named Mikey, prepared himself.

"Cowabunga!" He cried out before he and his three turtle brothers all launched themselves onto the pizza, fighting until they each grabbed a slice and ate them, covered in pizza cheese and toppings.

Alex found it all to be funny and laughed, clapping his hands, reminding them of his presence.

"Here you go, bro." Leo said, grabbing a slice and feeding it to Alex, who downed it in a second and burped, making his turtle brothers laugh.

Splinter watched on with a smile, seeing that his sons were getting along with each other, despite how different the four turtles are to their human brother.

"Intelligence followed soon after."

Many years later, Splinter, now wearing his brown kimono, watches on as three of his sons were training. Two of them, now teenage Leo and Alex, knelt either side of their sensei.

Mikey and Donnie were fighting each other while Raph was using a punching bag.

All of this in their old lair.

"Realising that the world above is sometimes a dangerous place, I began teaching them ninjutsu, the secret arts of stealth and power, and all that I knew of this world."

Then both Alex and Leo, wielding their katanas, leapt in the air.

"From a battered book on Renaissance art that I fished out of the storm drain, I chose names for each of the four turtles."

As Alex struck a position with his katana held in reverse, looking ready to strike, Leo spun his katanas until he entered a fighting pose.

"Leonardo."

Donnie then stepped forward, spinning his bo staff until he stopped in his own fighting pose.

"Donatello."

Raph then stepped up and spun his sais as he struck his fighting pose.

"Raphael."

Then finally, Mikey stepped in, spinning his nunchucks until one of them hit him in the head.

"Ow!" He whined before he got into a pose, his brothers joining him side by side.

"Michelangelo. Together, with Alexander, they are…."

All five brothers gathered up and clapped their hands together in one huge high three/five.

"Brothers forever!" They all declared proudly.

"Or something like that that we all yell at once." Mikey told April on her left.

"First rule, ignore Mikey. Your life will be much easier." Raph advised her as he sat next to her on her right.

"Trust us, we know that too well." Alex sided with Raph.

"So we have remained in secret, and that is our story." Splinter finished as he stood and walked up to April.

"But how did you know martial arts?" April asked a pretty fair question to ask.

"That is a story for another time." Splinter replied cryptically.

"Hey guys! Look at this!" Mikey called out, looking at one of the TVs, which was playing a news broadcast about what happened at the bank earlier that day.

"And the police are completely baffled by this daring bank robbery boldly executed in broad daylight." The reporter said as the broadcast cut to the inside of the bank, looking in through the open vault door with a flashlight shining in, showing the large hole in the floor. "If anyone has any information, the police urge you to call the Crime Stoppers hotline."

"So, anybody want to take a wild guess what did this?" Mikey asked rhetorically, as everyone knew, especially when the broadcast cut to a close up of a pair of footprints left behind by one of the Mousers.

"This must be what I heard Dr. Stockman talking about." April realised. "He's got the Mousers robbing banks."

"What do you know about this Stockman guy?" Raph asked her with curiosity.

"He's a genius. He's also nuts. I used to work for him, but when I got suspicious, he turned the Mousers on me! Luckily, I ran into you guys." April explained to them all what happened.

"He destroyed our old lair!" Leo snarled.

"Must have been one of his Mouser test runs." April deduced, recalling the call she overheard between Stockman and his 'client'.

"But that was our home." Mikey said sadly.

"Now he's graduated to banks." Donnie added.

"At this rate, he'll end up robbing the Federal Reserve and even Fort Knox." Alex said with concern, knowing that Stockman isn't going to stop at just banks.

"Then what are we waiting for? I say we shut down Mouser Central permanently!" Raph said eagerly, brandishing his sais, which earned a chuckle from Mikey.

"I just love those action movie lines. You write those yourself?" He asked as April placed her hand on her chin in thought.

"It won't be easy. StockTronics is rigged with the latest up to the minute security tech." She pointed out a problem.

"Then I guess it's a good thing we have the techno wiz that is Donatello." Alex grinned as he wrapped an arm around Donnie's shoulder.

"Aw, cut it out." Donnie said with a blush.

"Can we go, please?" Raph begged, physically shaking.

"Well, since he did ask nicely…." Alex shrugged.

Over at StockTronics, a door opened up and a Mouser entered the secret facility underneath the complex and dumped out all that it took from the bank from its back end.

Stockman watched on with glee as more Mousers entered to drop the rest of the goods from the vault in his control room.

"Excellent. Excellent!" He grinned. "The world, as they say, is my oyster. And aren't the pearls lovely?"

His good mood evaporated when he heard his computer radio beeping, making him groan.

"What?" He snapped as he turned it on to see who was bothering him.

"Dr. Stockman." It was his 'client'.

"Make it quick. I'm very busy." Stockman said impatiently, sitting in a chair.

"I am contacting you to verify that you are fulfilling your end of our bargain and that you are on schedule."

"I will not stand for any more of this idiotic interrogation!" Stockman snapped, having had enough of his 'client'. "I've advanced the Mousers to the next stage, and they are securing the funds from the banks as you requested. Can you grasp that simple concept?" Stockman then stood back up.

"Do not presume too much, Dr. Stockman. The price for failure will be quite extreme." The 'client' warned him, causing Stockman to grit his teeth and slam his fists against the table before hanging up.

"Imbecile!" He spat in contempt.

Down in the sewers near StockTronics, April was leading Alex and the Turtles back to the place she used to work.

After a while of walking, she stopped when she heard beeping from nearby. She signalled the others, to which Donnie shushed to keep quiet.

April pointed at a circular device that she knew to be an alarm that would go off if movement crossed it. And so she went underneath to get to the other side so that she and Donnie can shut it off.

"Alarms in the sewers? Is this guy paranoid or what?" Mikey questioned.

"Will you shut it?" Raph snapped at him.

"I'm just saying." Mikey defended himself.

"Could April and I have some quiet? This is delicate work." Donnie demanded as he pulled out the wires from the alarm.

"Ooh. 'April and I'. 'This is delicate work'. Give me a break." Mikey mocked just as they shut the alarm off.

"Don't you ever do as you're told?" Alex groaned.

In a corridor within StockTronics, two security guards walked past both a door to a lab and a vent, which opened up to reveal both April and Raph.

"Is this the place?" Raph asked April for confirmation.

"There's a computer terminal in that lab. Get me in, and I can create blank spots in the security system to get you through to Dr. Stockman's main lab." April explained, pointing to the door opposite them.

"Don't look now. We already got a blank spot right here." Raph joked, pointing at Mikey, who was directly behind him.

"Hey." Mikey moaned, unamused by the joke.

Raph jumped out of the vent and into the corridor, looking up and down to see that the coast was clear before helping April out.

He then went up to the door and moved the handle, seeing that it was locked. So he grabbed one of his sais and grinned at April before he picked the lock.

Once the door was open, he and his brothers all entered to make sure that it was safe for April to enter. Once they made sure, she came in and instantly went to work on the computer, starting to handle the security.

"Okay, I'm in. I'm blanking the cameras along that corridor at ten second intervals, so you've got to keep moving." April informed them.

"We'll be back." Alex told her.

"Good luck." She said, looking to see that they were gone, which surprised her, considering how silent they did it. "Hey, these guys are good."

The five ran their way down the corridor until they reached the doors to the lab, which opened up.

They slowly entered, noting how dark and quiet it was.

"This is too quiet." Leo said.

"Yeah, like we're walking right into a trap." Alex agreed with him.

His worry was confirmed when the doors shut behind them and the lights turned on. They all looked up and saw Stockman's control room from above.

"Intruders? Here to steal my secrets?" He said through the PA systems, amplifying his voice. "You'll leave here with nothing, not even your lives." He looked at an infrared image of the five, being very perplexed by the Turtles. "What on Earth are you? Hmm, I suppose I'll have to dissect you to find out."

Stockman then pressed a button that made some laser cannons appear and move around Alex and the Turtles, aiming right at them.

They all broke apart in all directions just as the cannons fired where they stood.

Leo rolled and flipped past a pillar and towards another before he had to move away from a shot from one of the cannons.

Alex slid, narrowly missing being struck by a laser, and then he launched himself in the air, curling up into a ball as a cannon tried hitting him again, firing where his legs were before curling up. He then flipped behind a pillar and hid there from the cannons to catch his breath.

Mikey jumped before he dived from a laser blast. He then skidded on his shell before another cannon fired at him, causing him to essentially breakdance to avoid being hit.

Raph charged from one side of the large room to the other as two of the cannons fired, trying to hit him.

He ran past the pillar that Alex was hiding behind and pulled out his katana.

"Heads up!" He called out to Raph, running to stand in front of him and use his katana to deflect an incoming shot back at the cannon, destroying it.

Donnie pole vaulted and latched onto a cannon that was constantly firing lasers until he managed to turn it towards the other two cannons next to it, blasting them to oblivion, which made Alex, Leo and Raph cheer.

Donnie then opened a hatch and ripped wires out, causing the cannon to jerk so much that Donnie was thrown off, but he was able to land on his feet. He watched as the cannon spun and shorted out until it exploded.

He then grabbed his bo staff and joined up with his brothers, running towards Stockman in the control room.

"Impossible." He muttered in shock and disbelief, seeing his inventions being bested.

He controlled one of the cannons and fired down at Alex and the Turtles, who dodged the laser.

Stockman continued firing, but the lasers just kept missing Raph, who was flipping his way towards the control room until he reached the pillar directly beneath.

"Alex, slingshot!" Raph called out to Alex, who hid from the cannon.

Alex nodded and took a deep breath before he charged and sprinted at top speed towards Raph, missing the lasers and then jumped off of Raph's linked hands, who boosted him up.

Alex was launched up in the air until he landed on the edge of the window of the control room.

Stockman gasped and stepped back as Alex smashed the window open with the grip of his katana, which made Stockman trip and fall on his back.

Alex entered with Leo right behind him, pointing one of his katanas at the scientist.

"Your reign of terror is over, Stockman." He declared.

"I see you've been practising." Alex said as he placed a hand on Leo's shoulder, making Leo grin.

"You like it?" Leo asked, grinning even more when Alex nodded. Their brothers soon joined them in the control room.

"What are you?" Stockman asked in shock, seeing that the Turtles weren't people in costumes. Just then, the elevator behind him opened to reveal April.

"They're with me." She told Stockman, who turned and looked at her in shock.

"April? You're alive!" He said.

"And kicking." She added as she exited the elevator. "I've got enough evidence to put you away for years, Dr. Stockman."

As she talked, Stockman crawled to the controls and pressed a button, which made Raph grab him by the lab coat and pinned him against the controls.

"That's enough!" Raph snarled in his face as an alarm started blaring.

"Ha! Too late! I've recalled the Mouser horde from their latest mission. They'll be here any second! They'll tear you to pieces." Stockman bragged.

"April?" Leo said with worry as April ran to the controls.

"I'll have to shut the whole system down." She said as she sat in the chair.

"I'll help." Donnie volunteered.

"You're doomed. Listen." Stockman bragged once more as a marching was heard. Everyone looked to see that the Mousers had arrived through the door Alex and the Turtles came from.

As April was trying to shut the systems down, Alex, Leo and Mikey looked down the ladder to see that the Mousers were at the bottom.

"April…." Leo said in fear as the Mousers started climbing their way up. "Now's the time."

"The system isn't responding!" April groaned in panic.

As everyone's attention was elsewhere, Stockman took this chance to try and slip away and get out of there.

As some Mousers climbed up the ladder, others were walking up the pillar.

"You should never have matched wits with me." Stockman gloated as he entered the elevator and pressed a button to close the doors.

"Go on, run away, you coward!" Alex shouted in rage as the doors closed.

"Never mind him, we got bigger problems." Raph reminded him as he, Alex, Mikey and Leo grouped up together while the Mousers swarmed in around them, even coming in through the windows and the elevator.

"At least we'll go out fighting." Raph sighed in acceptance as they were backed up against April and Donnie, who were still busy trying to do something about the Mousers.

"Actually, I don't want to go out at all!" Mikey confessed in fear.

"It's not working!" April cried out in stress.

"Keep trying!" Donnie told her with desperation.

"This is it. It's been fun, guys." Raph said, so sure that they're time was up and they'd be Mouser chow.

"Even me, Raph?" Mikey asked.

"Even you, MIkey. Especially you." Raph replied to cheer him up.

"At least I'll die knowing I lived with the best family one could ask for." Alex confessed.

As April tried to figure out what to do, she came across something that could help, and since she was desperate, she pressed a button to activate the solution she came across and all of the Mousers stopped, their lights flashing on and off.

Confused, Leo used one of his katanas to tap one of them, seeing that they were indeed not moving, which meant they'll actually live.

The four brothers cheered while Donnie let out a sigh of relief.

"Good job, April." He complimented. "I've never seen anything like that."

"Ha! Loser!" Mikey mocked as he held a Mouser.

"Uh, guys? Guys? I wasn't able to shut them down." April informed them all with concern evident in her voice.

"They look pretty shut down to me." Mikey replied, pointing at the Mouser in his hand, its light now flashing red instead of yellow.

"The only way I could stop them was by initiating an overload sequence." April explained just as all the Mousers started spewing smoke from their mouths as an alarm was blaring.

Alex knew what this meant, his eyes wide with horror.

"WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE!" He yelled at the top of his lungs and they all leapt out of the control room through the shattered window, April being carried in Donnie's arms, and ran to the door, looking back for a moment when the Mousers now exploded, destroying the control room and starting a chain reaction where the room and even the StockTronics building were being destroyed, shaking like an earthquake was happening.

In a hallway, Stockman ran like a mad man.

"I've got them!" He said with triumph, thinking April, Alex and the Turtles were now dead. "I've got them all!"

But because he was looking over his shoulder, he didn't expect to run into a large figure that blocked his way, making him fall on his back.

He looked up to see a large muscular figure wearing all black, his sleeveless shirt revealing thick arms, his left arm covered in a tattoo of a purple oriental dragon. He also had a tattoo of a red three toed foot on his upper right arm. He also had long blonde hair, which he kept in a ponytail and his left cheek had three claw marks. Plus he had an earring on his left ear.

"You." Stockman frowned, recognising him as debris started falling from the ceiling. "What do you want, Hun?"

"Trouble, Dr. Stockman?" Hun asked in a deep voice.

"Trouble? No! No! Everything is proceeding exactly as I planned." Stockman lied as he got to his feet and brushed dust off his lab coat.

The building then shook harder than before, making him lose balance right as Hun grabbed his lab coat and lifted him off his feet with ease, bringing him up to his face.

"Perhaps you'd like to explain this plan to the master?" Hun suggested with a snarl, making Stockman's eyes widen with fear and try to get out of his grip, but he was just too strong.

"Let me go, you brainless, muscle bound idiot!" Stockman demanded as Hun walked his way down the hallway casually. "Let me go! Let me go!"

A few hours later, Alex, the Turtles and April made it back to the lair and everyone stood with cups of tea as the news was playing, reporting what had happened to StockTronics.

"And the authorities are completely perplexed by the destruction of the StockTronics building and the sudden disappearance of Dr. Baxter Stockman."

"What will you do now, Ms. O'Neil? You are most definitely out of a job." Splinter said, being the only one sitting, in the armchair, of course.

"I'm not exactly sure." April admitted, unsure of what she'll do at the moment.

"We'll help you get back on your feet." Donnie offered.

"Yeah, as a way to make up for the fact that we're the reason you lost your job." Alex nodded.

"You guys, you've all been, well, great. And by guys, I guess I mean four big, green, talking turtles, a giant talking rat and a ninja teenager." April grinned, placing a hand on Splinter's shoulder.

"Here's to the new team!" Leo toasted and his brothers, and Apri, clinked their cups together before lifting them up and cheering.

Elsewhere, at the top of the skyscraper with the foot symbol, Stockman was pacing back and forth in front of his 'client', who happened to be the Japanese man that killed the turquoise haired leader of the Purple Dragons, explaining what he thought happened to Hun and the Japanese man, so sure he'll get out of this scot free.

"So, as any fool can see, the whole thing was simply a minor setback." Stockman said, turning to the man, who reached for a gauntlet that had two long claws on it. "With your continued funding, the research can continue immediately. I'll be back to work, oh, Monday morning."

The man got to his feet, pointed his gauntlet at Stockman.

"You must pay the price for failure, Dr. Stockman." He snarled, making Stockman's confident front fade away into horror as he glanced over at Hun, who grabbed him by the shoulder and dragged him towards the exit.

"N-No! Where are you taking me? You'll regret this! N-NO!" Stockman cried out right before he and Hun left, the doors slamming shut behind them.

The man then glanced to his right as a technician approached and knelt before him.

"We have the image you requested, Master." He said, his tech that he wore over his eyes zooming in on the gauntlet.

He then stood and pressed a button that made a projector screen form and another technician entered, rolling a projector that was connected to a Mouser head.

"So, the last remaining image the Mouser optics recorded." The man said as it activated, showing the infrared images of Alex and the Turtles in various fighting poses.

"These are the ones responsible!" He snarled in contempt and fury, leaping at the projector screen and slashing it open with his gauntlet before placing it near his head.

Alex and the Turtles unknowingly made enemies with someone that wants them dealt with permanently.

That one line Alex said... I had to have him say it as a way to acknowledge the start of the TMNT brand/franchise.

And there's more to Alex's origins, just wait patiently, as we won't get an explanation for along while.
