Chapter 18 enter Axl the hunter, Vought's secret experiment base, the deal between Butcher and Otto
In the dark of night a group of Vought's heroes are seen doing something suspicious from the eyes of the public and nobody is seeing them.
Vought's hero: did you bring the package?
Vought's hero 2: yeah I did and so did the others.
Then a truck comes in along with the rest of there group then they open up the back of the truck and carried many more of the packages inside them were an unknown substance call compound V which belongs and were made by Vought.
Vought's hero: with this we are unstoppable!
Vought's hero 2: hehehe, we might even become number one heroes in the world!
Vought's heroes cheers as they are excited for when they will be the greatest heroes in the world in the name of Vought, but soon something unexpected happens as they hear something outside some of the group goes to check it out but then.
BANG!*
A gun shot is heard and this scares them, the rest goes to check it however more shots are heard and the last of the group started to escape from the hideout trying to escape from who or what is after them, soon many of them are killed one by one until there was one left.
Vought's hero: who is doing this? How anyone find us?
Then one of Vought's heroes approached him.
Vought's hero 2: are you okay?
Vought's hero: … I'm fine let's just hurry and get out of here.
The two started to walk through the dark alley way, one of them trying to figure out how there secret was leaked and who was it that found out about it, then one of them stops and a gun appeared in there hand and shoots him.
BANG!*
Vought's hero?: wow, you guys really do have a habit of underestimating your enemies.
Vought's hero: you, you're the traitor?
Vought's hero? : no.
Then the person transformed into what he really looks like he had armor on which the hero did not recognize anywhere.
?: I took care of him a second ago.
Vought's hero: no way, how in the world are you able to do that…
The Vought hero soon dies and the unknown individual takes the data and leaves before the cops, once he was in a more secretive area he looks at the data.
?: so they have another base hidden in Japan, I guess I know where I'm going next.
(Scene change)
At Schicksal HQ, Otto Apocalypse is seen in an unknown laboratory which are full of unknown experiments and soon he steps into a room and in it was an unknown serum of unknown properties but Otto know what it is and what to do with it, he brings out his phone and started contacting someone.
Otto: hello is this Mr. Butcher? I have something that may interest you along with achieving your goal.
The head of Schicksal looks at the Serum and one thought goes through his mind.
Otto: it is time for the pieces to fall into place.
(Scene change)
At Quinn's house Yushai gives Gunvolt the shard he obtained after defeating Densa and running into Copen, along with the mysterious Kirin.
Xaio: I didn't think that the Adapt Slayer would be there?
Yushai: yeah and it looks like he's after the Shards but for what reason we don't know…
Quinn : well at least no one had to die in that situation but who is that Kirin person?
Gunvolt: I'm wondering that myself, I wonder who she works for?
Xaio: I'll try to get some information on her later, for now I got some information from one of my contacts.
Gunvolt: really? Well what is it?
Xaio: my contacts says they've found a strange laboratory of some kind, but here's the strange thing heroes from Vought are coming out from there.
Yushai: a lab belonging to Vought… I wonder what secrets there hiding.
Gunvolt: we'll have to go there to find out, Xaio can you give us the location of where that Lab is?
Xaio: yup, here's the location it appears to be in an abandoned building downtown.
Yushai: alright we will head there right away.
The two then leaves out of the house and heads to the lab, Quinn plays for the two to come back safely.
Meanwhile at UA everyone is seen training on how to use their powers in different ways, Kirin is seen hiding from the from the rest of the class and is talking with her superiors on her cellphone.
Kirin: so Sumeragi is in deeper trouble?
?: yes, Vought, the Dragon Keepers, Schicksal and finally Revocs are all trying to buy Sumeragi which is bad news.
Kirin: I understand that Sumeragi deserves to be torn down after everything they have done, however it's not like the other four are no different.
?: so true even they have dark secrets along with skeletons in there closets, however for now our main concern is Eden and what they are up to since they stole a lot of technology from Sumeragi when they infiltrated it and who to say the others won't do the same, we must get this situation under control and reform Sumeragi, keep an eye out and continue to gather information.
Kirin: understood I'll continue my mission.
Then Kirin went back to class.
(Scene change)
Yushai and Gunvolt are seen in downtown trying to find the lab until they see a trucks belonging to Vought leaves rrom an unknown location the two goes to check it out and notice an underground passage where the trucks came from, Yushai transformed then the two secretly goes inside the base but they weren't thee only ones that went inside.
(Mega Man Zero – Old Life Space)
Both Yushai and Gunvolt were now inside the hidden lab owned by Vought and started investigating the area and learn what they are hiding as they do the two see something very disturbing, many people being experimented by Vought scientists using an unknown compound on them and the mutations is horrifying.
Yushai: dear god…
Gunvolt: what are these guys doing to them? This is much worse then Sumeragi.
?: there trying to perfect there so called heroes so they can control the world.
The two turns there attention to a person in an armor similar to Yushai's only this person's is black.
Yushai: who are you? And why is your armor similar to mine?
?: I wish I can tell you but this really isn't the right place to talk about that.
Gunvolt: you said that Vought uses places like this to perfect there heroes what do you mean by that.
?: … Vought's heroes are created by using a serum called compound V which gives them there powers, in other words all of Vought's heroes used to be powerless individuals except for Homelander.
Yushai: what!
Gunvolt: all of them used to be powerless? And this compound V gives them their powers but… something tells me there's side effects to it isn't it.
?: there is… the Compound is a drug the more you use it the more addictive you become, some gain powers others… end up becoming monsters and can't be saved.
Both Yushai and Gunvolt are disturbed by what they heard, and now the two knows about Vought's secret and the horrible deeds they have done something not even the public or even the nation's know about this, but what is Vought's true intentions, what are they after, what do they want, thinking about this carefully the three don't have time to think about Vought's true plans, right now they need to shutdown this place along with getting info on the wrong doings of Vought.
Yushai: guys let's focus on the mission for now.
Gunvolt: yeah... let's get back on the task at hand.
?: that does sound good right now, oh and call me Axl it's a code name not my real one.
Yushai: okay then Axl, led the way.
Axl: hehehe, leave it to me let's go.
The three then began going deeper into the laboratory but then the alarm goes off meaning they now know they have intruders, the three hurries to a computer room that has most of Vought's dirty little secrets Axl began downloading some of it into a disk once he got it they soon started trying to escape from the lab until they are confronted by a Vought's heroes, one that is on the seven, called the Deep.
Deep: you kids should haven't been here, now I get to kill ya.
(Azure striker Gunvolt 2 – boss fight)
The three then started fighting against one of the Seven who uses his strength to try to kill them but they dodges it and fires at him which hurts the deep and this pisses him off and he rushes at them in a blind rage.
The three noticed this guy is really not that smart and only cares about himself, no one else this makes Yushai see how corrupt Vought's heroes or possibly some others are as well, the three work fire there shots at the Deep which hurts him so much that he can't fight anymore and is knocked out, the three then hurries to the exit and escape from Vought's labs.
The guards were too late to catch the intruders and there boss is going to be pissed at them.

On the roof of a building the three talks about what has happened and what to do with the data.
Axl: Vought has a lot of strings to make sure no body finds out the truth but I'm not giving up, I'll keep gathering information on there wrong doings and expose them for what they really are.
Yushai: alright then good luck Axl, I hope we meet again.
Axl: you know I will so long.
Axl leaves and Yushai and Gunvolt returns to Quinn's house to rest now that the mission was done.
(Scene change)
In a hidden area Butcher is seen talking with Otto who is giving him something.
Butcher: what's this?
Otto: something that will give us both what want.
Butcher: what I want?
Otto: of course, your desire to kill every last Sup.
Then everything fades to black.
