Chapter 13 a friend kidnapped, chase the target, Sumeragi tower

Both Yushai and Gunvolt are seen hurrying to the apartment where Joule and Elise is once they arrived the two they find the place destroyed, finding Elise on the ground knocked out cold.

Yushai quickly goes to check is Elise okay once she came to Elise tells them that Merak who is one of Sumeragi's agents and the one who kidnapped her from her home.

Yushai: Elise told me an agent of Sumeragi who is Merak came here, do you know who he is?

Gunvolt: I do. I ran into him on one of my missions his an Adapt that can create wormholes and fires lasers he's also a gamer and is lazy.

Yushai: are you serious?

Gunvolt: yup I'm serious. But now they have Joule and we have to go and get her back quickly or else something terrible will happen to everyone in Japan, no… the entire world.

Elise: everyone… is in danger…

Yushai: … after getting to know you Gunvolt along with seeing what horrible things happened to both Joule and Elise, we have to go and save her quickly.

Elise: i-I'm going to. I don't want to be a burden anymore or have others go through I went through.

Gunvolt: alright then… let's go we have no time to waste.

Yushai & Elise: right.

(Scene change)

With izuku and the others they are seen heading back to their school after a job well done after capturing the hero killer stain and the chaos in the city is starting to settle down after what happened but one thing was on the young hero's mind.

Izuku: ummm, why are you guys still here?

Tenya: indeed, shouldn't four be back at your own schools?

Kiana: we should… but for some reason we are being told to wait until Himeko comes so she can tells us why.

Ryuko: I'm also being told that as well…

Shoto: that's strange...

Kiana: however… know this I'm going to beat you all next time!

Mei: Kiana…

Bronya: reaching the top is going not going to be easy… many powerful heroes are at the top but I wonder what the hero killer meant that Allmight was worthy?

Izuku: well he is the world's best hero and he was able to do the near impossible here in Japan causing all the crime rates to drop greatly.

Mei: I didn't know he did that…

Kiana: …

Bronya: so that's the reason… I need to get more data.

Ryuko: is she all was like that?

Mei: Bronya is just Bronya…

Everyone: oh?

(Scene change)

(Armored Core 4 – Rain)

Yushai and Gunvolt are seen on a highway that leads to Sumeragi's tower, Elise is told to keep herself hidden so she won't be caught by the enemy while the two clears the path forward so it can be safe.

The two fights Sumeragi soldiers who are trying to stop them from reaching the tower however a sudden thunder storm soon hits as rain falls down heavily like cats and dogs along with the ocean becoming more dangerous by the minute which made the two try to take more caution to not fall into the ocean.

Gunvolt: we are getting closer to Sumeragi's base, be on guard Yushai.

Yushai: understood. I hope Elise is doing okay…

The two continue to take down many soldiers as the two get closer and closer they are confronted by Merak who kidnapped Joule from the Gunvolt's apartment.

Merak: well, well it's you again Gunvolt along with a friend.

Yushai: this guy is Merak? You weren't kidding when you said he's lazy.

Gunvolt: told you so, where is Joule?

Merak: she's with the boss man right now so the plan can get started right away … but I have a bone to pick with you Gunvolt, it's time to even the score.

(FF 13 – test of the L'Cie)

The two then started fighting against Merak who fired lasers and uses metal fists along with using his Septima warp to attack them from different angles, the two dodges most of them and strikes back with shots and lighting which began to hurt Merak.

Merak: you know you had this coming right?

Gunvolt: after what Sumeragi did to Joule and countless others? Someone had to do something!

Merak: you don't even know why we're doing this in the first place? But I guess being naïve is all your good at by the way whose your friend?

Yushai: I've been here for a while and you finally noticed me?

Merak: at first we thought you weren't going to be a problem for us, but you are now and what you suppose to be anyway? Now that I think about it you look like a character from some comic and video game, it's at the edge of my mind but it doesn't matter your going to be died soon.

Yushai: we'll see about that!

The fight continues on as Merak takes more damage from the two blue fighters as he is pushed back more and more until he finally decides to destroy them completely.

Merak: time to end this! Lazy Laser!

Yushai: Lazy Laser why would someone-oh crap!

Gunvolt: move!

Merak fires a laser into the wormhole then it is sent out around the battlefield as it tries to take both Yushai and Gunvolt out but they survive the two then attacks with a combined charge shot lightning strike which takes down Merak, as he dies he says his final words.

Merak:now… I remember… who … you… remind… of… now.. its… Me… ga… man….

(End of music)

Merak dies after the battle was over on the ground is the sword he uses to transform into his battle form Yushai picks it up and wonders if Elise uses it she can fight again only this time she's the one in control not her other self.

Yushai hands the blade to Elise who is scared of fighting again but Yushai tells her they will be there to help her if she loses control over her power but tells she is the one that decides how to use it no one else, then she activates it and dons her battle form once again but this time she's the one in control, the three then enters the tower in order to save Joule.

Meanwhile at UA school, Izuku and his friends are called for an important mission from Sumeragi as they ask for help.

Then everything fades to black.

To nexusknight2: yeah Homelander wants to get bad dirt on Allmight so he can get more attention after all Allmight is the world's greatest hero and Homelander isn't America's greatest hero we all know who that is, in which makes him even more jealous of not being special.
