Hello all Storm here with a new story! Here we'll be seeing an interesting new idea, I won't spoil anything and hope you all enjoy the story. So, without further ado.

I own nothing

'I can't believe this! First Kakashi blows me off and passes me onto that closest pervert Ebisu, then that old bastard shows up and knocks him out! Then he blows me off, when he refuses to train me after knocking out my teacher!' Thought Naruto Uzumaki as he exited the hospital, having just dropped Ebisu off there, after he was knocked out by some old guy that they saw peeking into the women's hot spring.

They had originally gone there, so Naruto could work on his Chakra Control by learning the Water Walking Exercise, as a means to prepare him for the Chūnin Exam Finals. With Naruto having initially hoped that his actual teacher, Kakashi Hatake, would train him. So that he could beat Neji and keep his promise to Hinata, to pay him back for trying to kill her.

Only for Kakashi to reveal he wouldn't be training Naruto, instead he was going to be training his teammate, Sasuke Uchiha, for his match.

'Yeah because it'd be so hard to train us together, or just make a Shadow Clone to train us separately.' Naruto thought, knowing Kakashi could have done either of those things, but he didn't and just handed him over to Ebisu.

They then made a wager that if Naruto could escape Ebisu, he'd resign as Naruto's instructor and even take over some of Kakashi's duties so he'd have time to train Naruto. Something that Uzumaki had eagerly accepted, but all his attempts to escape Ebisu ended in failure, as he always succeeded in finding him. Even after Naruto created a bunch of clones to fool him, the guy still was able to find him.

Something Naruto would begrudgingly admit was impressive, given he was able to outrun and escape Jōnin and Anbu when performing his pranks, and none of them ever managed to find or catch him. Though Naruto still would have preferred a different teacher, preferably one that wasn't so easily taken out by his different Sexy Jutsu.

Though Ebisu did at least try teaching him some stuff, only for that to be cut short when they went to the hot springs, so he could learn Water Walking.

*Flashback*

Naruto cried out as he fell in the water again, after failing to do the Water Walking Exercise again.

"Make sure to keep a steady flow of Chakra to your feet. This technique is far more difficult than Surface Walking, as you need to keep Chakra flowing and changing the amount to match the flow of the water." Ebisu said while pushing up his glasses.

"I am doing that! But I keep falling in the water!" Retorted Naruto in annoyance before trying again, only to be met with the same results as before.

Before Ebisu could say anything else, he heard the sound of someone giggling, the Tokubetsu Jōnin looking, only to see a white-haired old man peeking into the women's hot spring, making him frown at the sight.

"Are you peeking into the women's hot spring, old man?" Demanded Ebisu before rushing him.

"I will not allow any of this behavior to continue!" Ebisu said intending to deal with this person, with the stranger turning to look at him before making a handsign.

"Oh please!" Said the stranger, before in a large cloud of smoke an equally large orange toad with blue markings appeared.

"Huh?! What on Earth-" Ebisu said in disbelief at the sight of the toad, knowing only one person capable of summoning them.

Though before he could do anything, the toad's tongue shot out and wrapped around him, lifting him into the air before slamming him back on the ground, knocking the man out.

"What's wrong with you? Keep it down or you're gonna get us busted, you idiot!" The stranger said, annoyed at the interruption and that the noise could have gotten him caught, while Naruto looked on in wide eyes at what just happened, before shaking it off and got out of the water.

"Hey! What the hell was that?! Who do you think you are, anyway?!" Demanded Naruto, looking at the stranger, annoyed at him knocking out his teacher like that, and leaving him with no one to train him for the next month.

Only to sweatdrop when the stranger suddenly started doing a kabuki dance on top of the toad.

"I'm glad you asked! I'm the Sage of Mt. Myōboku, the wise and immortal spirit! That's right, it is I, the Toad Mountain Sage, the Gallant Jiraiya!" Declared Jiraiya while posing.

"Wha? Toad Sage?" Said Naruto, confused by that title.

"Exactly." Jiraiya stated with a smirk, before dismissing the Toad he summoned.

"Yeah well, what're you going to do about this, Pervy Sage?! You knocked out my teacher!" Naruto said, getting back to the matter at hand.

"Well he shouldn't have interfered with my research, for my books!" Said Jiraiya before pulling out a copy of Icha Icha Paradise, much to Naruto's disbelief at seeing the book Kakashi's always reading, now seeing exactly why he's always reading it if this is how they're written.

"You call that perverted trash a book?! That's just an excuse for you to peek on women, while they're naked!" Shouted Naruto, with the women in the hot spring hearing this leading them running away, screaming at being spied on.

"AAAAAAAAAAAH! Look at what you've done, you've ruined by peeking-I mean my research!" Jiraiya cried out before quickly correcting himself.

"I don't care you dirty old man, I was doing them a favor! What about my training?!" Naruto retorted, not caring if he ruined his peeking, only caring about how he's supposed to train to beat Neji now.

"Training? You mean Water Walking, any Ninja can do that, even most Genin should be able to do it in the first six months." Said Jiraiya, surprising Naruto at hearing this.

"You can do it? Then you have to teach it to me, since you knocked out my other teacher, you at least owe me that." Said Naruto, figuring Jiraiya should pay him back for knocking Ebisu unconscious and at least teach him Water Walking.

Only for Jiraiya to scoff and walk past him, not interested in training some brat.

"I don't owe you squat brat, especially after you ruined my research. Besides I've more important things." Jiraiya said, much to Naruto's annoyance as he ran in front of him.

"Hey! You can't just walk away, like that! If you're a Ninja, aren't you supposed to be responsible and fix the problem you caused?! You knocked out my teacher, so it's your responsibility to teach me instead!" Naruto said, with Jiraiya glaring at him, before pushing him aside.

"Yeah, Ninja also lie, cheat, steal, and murder, so responsibility isn't exactly in our vocabulary. You want responsibility, go get a samurai to teach or something. Now beat it brat." Retorted Jiraiya, making Naruto growl and get in front of him again.

"I need you to train me! I'm entered in the Chūnin Exams and I need to win! If I don't-" Said Naruto, only for Jiraiya to scoff.

"Yeah big deal. You think it'll matter if you win the Chūnin Exams? If you honestly think winning some tournament is so important to being a Ninja, then there's really no way I'm wasting my time training you. Not for the last time, get lost!" Jiraiya said, shoving Naruto into the water before jumping away.

With the Uzumaki scowling in the direction the Toad Sage went as he got out of the water.

"Well fuck you, Pervy Sage, you're probably a shitty teacher anyway! And your perverted books are trash!" Naruto shouted, not caring if he heard him or not, only angry at being brushed aside like that.

'Bastard even thinks I'd care if I won the damn Exams, or not.' Thought Naruto, not caring if he won the Third Round, doubting he even could with someone like Gaara taking part, he only cared about keeping his promise.

"I hope he ends up peeking on that crazy snake lady, just so she'll castrate the asshole." Naruto muttered, before letting an annoyed sigh as he went and grabbed Ebisu to take him to the hospital.

As even with their differences, he did at least make an effort to teach him something, so the least he could do is not just leave him lying on the ground.

*End Flashback*

'Now I'm stuck trying to train myself to beat Neji, just great.' Naruto thought as he arrived at Training Ground Seven, wanting to at least try and get some training down to beat Neji.

He would have tried asking one of the other Jōnin Sensei's to see if one of them could train him, but given they all have at least one student in the finals, Naruto doubted that they'd be able to train him. Naruto even briefly considered trying to ask Anko to train him, but she honestly terrified him and given she was a proctor, he wasn't sure if she'd be allowed to train him either.

'Leaving me alone to try and figure something out on my own.' Naruto thought before letting out a sigh.

"I just wish I had someone to help train me. Huh?" Muttered Naruto before looking to see a sudden flashing light behind him, along with the sounds of something, or someone, hitting the ground behind him.

Turning to see what happened, the whiskered blonde was shocked at what he saw behind him.

*Earlier-Limbo*

'It's over, it's finally over.' Thought Illyana Rasputin, or as she's recently been known as Magik, as she looked at her Soulsword before looking around at the dimension of Limbo.

Limbo, the dimension she's been forced to call him for the past seven years, ever since she'd been kidnapped by Belasco and taken here. But not before she had been kidnapped by Arcade and his followers, with her being rescued by her brother Piotr, or as he's better known as Colossus, and the X-Men. Having been allowed to live with them at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. There, she was able to make friends with the other young mutants, only for her to then be kidnapped by Belasco.

Belasco had kidnapped her and planned to corrupt her soul with Black Magic, as a means to create Bloodstones, which he'd use to escape from Limbo himself and conquer Earth along with the Elder Gods that inhabited Limbo. The entire time, Illyana had been helpless to do anything, being controlled by Belasco and beaten by his servant, S'ym.

It wasn't until she had been saved by the Limbo versions of X-Men members Storm and Shadowcat, with Storm teaching her how to use White Magic and Cat teaching her how to fight. Teaching her everything they could, until they met their unfortunate demises, with Illyana continuing to train herself. Until she was strong enough to manifest her Soulsword, a physical representation of her own being and soul. With it granting her the power necessary to defeat and banish Belasco, along with becoming the new ruler and Sorceress Supreme of Limbo, in addition to granting her access to Belasco's mystical knowledge.

Now though, Illyana simply wished to return to Earth to reunite with her family and friends, while wondering what they'll think of her now with how long she's been gone.

'Brother, Piotr, are you still with the X-Men, with our friends at the mansion? Mother, father will you even recognize me when I return? Will any of them recognize me?' Illyana thought looking at herself, knowing she's changed a lot since her time in Limbo, not to mention the time difference that could be between Limbo and Earth, so she didn't know if they'd even recognize her anymore.

Though while Illyana was lost in her musing, she missed the sight of S'ym spying on her from a short distance away, the demon glaring at the girl who banished his master. Then daring to believe that she now ruled Limbo, only to immediately try and leave now.

But when S'ym saw Illyana start chanting and start opening a portal to leave, he grinned wickedly seeing his chance to avenge his master and get rid of the girl, permanently.

Illyana chanted to open a portal to take her back to Earth, she immediately tensed at sensing summon approaching her from behind. Stopping her chanting, Illyana quickly turned and swung her sword at whoever was attacking her, only to see it was S'ym, who ducked under her swing.

"Enjoy oblivion, Magik!" S'ym said before shoving Illyana back, causing the girl to fall through the unstable portal she'd been creating.

Illyana's eyes widened at the sudden sensation of falling, the last thing she saw being the portals opening destabilizing before it suddenly exploded.

'Good riddance.' Illyana thought, seeing the explosion consume S'ym before it closed completely, leaving her to fall to an unknown destination.

*Azarath*

'I have to get away, quickly!' Thought Raven as she prepared to leave her homeworld of Azarath, having already collected her belongings and was now preparing the ritual that will take her away; knowing that she was both in danger from staying here, as well as her being in danger with the knowledge that her father will one day find her.

Her father, the inter-dimensional demon known as Trigon, who was bent on taking over the universe, while considered one of the most powerful and evil beings in existence. And Raven was intended to be his key and portal to worlds outside of his grasp, which was the whole reason for why she was born in the first place.

Raven's mother, Arella, had fallen in with a cult that was dedicated to Trigon, with her being chosen to become Trigon's bride in a ceremony to summon the demon and appeal to him. Trigon had been summoned in a human disguise, something Arella believed was genuine, despite knowing he was a demon. But when Trigon revealed his true appearance, it was already too late as he impregnated her against her will before then abandoning Arella to give birth to their daughter.

Arella had been alone and desperate, even being bent on suicide, while still pregnant with Raven, as a way to be free of the demon. Though before she could try, she was saved and taken in by pacifist disciples of the Temple of Azarath. A group who had forsaken Earth centuries ago, in order to pursue their own nonviolent lifestyle. It was in their inter-dimensional world that Raven was born, but fearing that the child would bring evil into their world Juris, a magistrate of Azarath had attempted to cast Raven into Limbo, only to end up being destroyed himself.

Raven had then been taken in by Azar, the spiritual leader of the temple, who began instructing and training Raven under her personally tutelage. Teaching the truth of her parentage, as well as in pacifism, meditation, and the submergence of her emotions to resist Trigon's influence. Along with perfecting her powers of teleportation, astral projection, and empathic healing. With Azar continuing to train Raven up until the point of her death, in which she entered another plane of existence.

Though it was after this, that Raven was plagued by prophetic dreams of Trigon, leading to her to defy her teachers and confronted her father in Limbo at his bidding. With Trigon having only spared her and her mother, after being satisfied that knowing upon his return when she reached adulthood, he would bring Raven to his side as his ally. Something that Raven had sworn she'd never do, now seeing firsthand that her father didn't care for anything or anyone except himself; even seeing her, his own daughter, as just a tool to be used to conquer new worlds.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long after this, that Raven overheard the council discussing on how they should deal with her, especially since she may have put Azarath in Trigon's sights. Much to Raven's shock and regret at unintentionally endangering her home, and that the council could be planning to do something to her.

So, Raven decided to leave Azarath, both for her own safety and the safety of her home, with her having worked on a ritual to send her to Earth. One of the few worlds that her father was incapable of invading on his own, so she'd be safe there and hopefully she can get some help from the heroes of Earth, that she's heard of.

'This isn't the end father, wherever you are, whatever you do, I will find a way to stop you one day.' Raven mentally swore as she finished setting up the ritual, before floating in the center of the circle.

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos, Azarath Metrion Zinthos, Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" Raven chanted as the circle lit up with purple fire before she soon vanished in a swirl of darkness.

Though unknown to Raven, in panic and desperate attempt to escape, she ended up making a mistake in the ritual. Resulting in her being teleported somewhere else, instead of her intended destination of Earth.

*With Naruto*

Naruto looked with wide eyes at the sight of two girls his age suddenly appear out of thin air, before they stood up and took in their surroundings.

The first girl had pale skin, blonde hair that fell past her shoulders in an asymmetrical style with bangs, four unique blade-like accessories, two on each side of her head, and bright blue eyes. With her attire consisting of long thigh-high black boots, with three straps around her calves, pads on her knees, black short shorts with a black belt, a black crop top that left her midriff exposed and an oval cleavage window, black armored shoulder pads, a long sleeve on her left arm along with a black glove, a black armband around her right bicep, and a black fingerless glove on her right hand. The girl also had one of the largest swords Naruto's ever seen, comparable to Zabuza's sword, with a black strap wrapped around the hilt, and black markings decorating the blade. With Naruto being shocked at how easily the girl lifted the sword up as if it weighed nothing.

And the second girl had surprisingly grey skin, short violet hair, violet eyes, and a red gem on his forehead. Her attire consisted of a hooded navy blue cloak, matching ruffled ankle-boots with blackish-gray soles, and a long-sleeve leotard that is a dark navy color with cuffs at her wrists of the same navy color of her cloak. On her cloak, she has a circular crimson jewel set in a gold plate that attaches the whole thing together. Around her waist, she has a red and gold belt with the same jewels around it, while her legs are exposed. The belt ties at the back like a cord.

'They're…' Naruto thought, blushing at the sight of both girls, knowing they're prettier than any girls he's seen before.

Though he tensed slightly, when the blonde girl held her sword up and the violet-haired girl held up her hands that were now surrounded by black energy with a white outline. With Naruto getting ready to create some Shadow Clones, in case they proved hostile. Only for the three to remain where they stood, simply watching each other warily.

"Is this Earth?" Questioned the cloaked girl, wondering if she made a mistake in her ritual.

"I would also like to know if we're on Earth." The blonde girl said with a unique accent.

"Uh…you're in Konohagakure, in the Land of Fire." Replied Naruto, wondering what they meant by that, since what other planet would they be on.

Neither of the girl recognized either of those places, making them both wonder if they were on the Earth that they intended to go to.

Though the tension was broken when all three of their stomachs rumbles, much to their embarrassment as they relaxed, seeing the others weren't threats.

"So…do you two wanna get some ramen?" Naruto offered, the two trading a look before turning back to the whiskered blonde and nodding in response, if only to sate their hunger.

*Later*

Naruto took both girls to Ichiraku Ramen before all three of them placing their orders, with their food soon being brought out.

"This is rather good; I cannot remember the last time I had such a meal." Said the blonde girl, liking the taste of the ramen she ordered, while the violet-haired girl nodded in agreement while eating her own.

"It is pretty good." She stated in agreement, making Naruto smile and nod in agreement with them.

"Yeah, ramen's the best in the world and nothing beats Ichiraku's." Said Naruto before looking at the two curiously.

"Uh, if you don't mind me asking, who are you two and where did you come from? Oh, and my names Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet you both." Naruto introduced while smiling at them, with the two girls nodding in response.

"My name is Illyana Rasputin, but I'm also known as Magik, and I'm a mutant. I came from a world known as Limbo, after defeating and overthrowing the previous ruler and intended to return to my original home. Only for someone to attack me and make me fall through my portal before it was stabilized, resulting in me landing here." Replied Illyana, giving the basic information.

"I'm Raven. I came from a world called Azarath, I left to…get away from some problems." Raven said, keeping things short and not revealing the fact she's half-demon.

While Naruto looked at them both in surprise, not expecting that of all things from them. But given how they appeared out of nowhere and their strange attire, he was willing to believe them. And that he couldn't really sense any Chakra from them, but could sense some kind of energy in them both.

"Oh, well I'm a Ninja of Konoha. Like I said before you're in the Land of Fire, one of the Five Great Nations, along with the Land of Wind, Land of Lightning, Land of Water, and Land of Earth, each of them having a Hidden Village as well. There's also a bunch of smaller nations and villages; but I can tell you about them later if you want, since there are a lot and some of them I don't know about. You two actually arrived in the middle of the Chūnin Exams type of tournament that Genin, like me, enter to see if we have what it takes to advance to become Chūnin, which I'm also entered in along with my teammates. I'm one of the finalists for the third round, but I doubt it'll matter." Said Naruto with a scowl, remembering how he no longer had anyone to train him.

"Why do you say that? Surely, if you were able to advance to the finals, you are more than capable to handle the competition." Magik stated, sensing that Naruto seemed to have plenty of power within him, and something else as well, something more powerful than anything she's sensed before.

"And wouldn't you have someone to help you prepare for the finals? Is that what you were doing, waiting for them to show up?" Questioned Raven, also sensing the power Naruto had, while also sensing a secondary energy source, one that reminded her eerily of her father's power, though not being as potent.

"I did have a teacher, until some old, perverted bastard knocked him out after he was caught peeking in the women's hot spring. Then the guy blew me off, when I tried getting him to train, so I'm stuck training on my own." Naruto replied, making the Raven and Magik frown at hearing this, that someone knocked out his teacher and then refused to take responsibility and help him with his training.

And given the looks they'd seen some of the villagers giving Naruto, both girls doubted that anyone else would be willing to jump at the chance to help prepare him either.

'He's like me.' Illyana and Raven unknowingly thought at the same time, seeing that Naruto was similar to them, being treated as an outcast and a walking plague, likely for something out of his control.

"Well…if you want I could teach you some things that I know. To repay you for the food." Offered Raven, wanting to help him, with Magik nodding in agreement.

"Agreed, I could also show you some things. Both how to fight and wield a blade if you wish to learn." Illyana added, also wanting to help him in some way.

"I can't accept that and you don't have to repay me for getting you both food, since you are kind of stuck here from the looks of things." Said Naruto, shaking his head, not wanting them to think they owed him anything for paying for the ramen.

"Even so, it's only right that we help you for helping us." Stated Magik, refusing to back down.

"She's right. You had no reason to help us or offer us anything with how we just appeared, but you still did. So, it's only fair that we get to help you in repayment." Raven said, since it wouldn't be fair if they did nothing for him, when he's been nothing but helpful and kind to two complete strangers.

"Really, you don't have to repay me, I'm just helping you both because you needed help, not for anything in return." Naruto replied stubbornly.

"Well that solves it then. You helped us because we needed help, so we'll help you because you need help as well. No repayment or thank yous required, merely wishing to help someone who needs it." Illyana said with a smirk at using his own words against him, making Naruto sigh and look at them.

"You're not going to stop until I agree, are you?" Naruto questioned rhetorically, with both girls shaking their heads, making him sigh again.

"Alright, fine. You both can help me train for the month. You can even stay at my apartment, since neither of you have anywhere else to stay, along with not having any money. Letting you stay with me is the least I can do." Naruto said, not wanting them to out on their own.

"Okay. And letting us teach you a bit more is the least we can do, as well." Raven replied with a small smirk, while Illyana nodded in agreement with Naruto sighing again.

"Okay, I walked into that one." Muttered Naruto, before they resumed eating their ramen, ordering a few more bowls once they finished.

After having their fill, the three soon left Ichiraku's and headed for Naruto's apartment to show Raven and Magik where they'll be staying.

So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto being blown off by Jiraiya for training here, with the Toad Sage being much harsher in his dismissal, resulting in Naruto going off on his own to train while wishing someone would train him, before he hears something behind him. Then we cut to earlier in Limbo where we see Illyana Rasputin, aka Magik, about to leave Limbo while going over her life, only for S'ym to push her through her unstable portal, only to get kill himself when it explodes. Before we then see Azarath and Raven leaving, going over her own life along with overhearing the council discussing what they'll do to her, leading to her leaving so she'd be safe and not have Trigon attack her home. Finally we go back to the Elemental Nations where Naruto meets Raven and Magik, with the three being tense around each other before seeing the others aren't a threat, with them then going to Ichiraku's where they share some basic information about each other. With the two girls then offering to help train Naruto for the finals, with Naruto also offering them a place to stay. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.

Storm out
