ATTENTION! IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you started reading Harry Potter: SHIELD and Sorcery before July 27th, 2024 then I would highly suggest you start over.

I have gone through and edited my previous chapters, and added new ones to expand on Harry's time in the Marvel Universe.

Some things will be very similar and others were deleted and rewritten from the ground up. I'm not saying there won't still be problems with grammar or misspellings, it is very hard to see your own mistakes when writing.

Also Sorry I've been MIA for a few days I was just finishing this up and will now be reposting and adding new and old chapters.

Thanks for reading

A few months later Harry found himself exasperated as he looked at Tony, in his half destroyed lab, with a new element on hand. "You know. Regardless of how impressive this is, and it is impressive, you still own a multi-billion dollar tech company. I'm sure you could have set this up in a lab."

Tony sat there with his new arc reactor a a smug look on his face, "Still did it though, and now I feel amazing. Badassium, my new element." He said waving at the new arc reactor in his chest.

Harry laughed "Is that what you really named it?"

Tony shrugged "Officially it's Starkanium, but I know it's true name."

"Well now that you're all healed up how about we starting talking business." Harry pulled some notes out of his pocket.

"How do you fit all these things in your pockets? It looks like you're just pulling from nowhere."

"It's called an expanded pocket. There are spells and runes that allow you to expand space in rooms, pockets, bags, and trunks. Using these methods and I can make my pockets as large as 100 pockets. It has a limit on the size and nothing can go in that's larger than the opening of the pocket." Harry explained as he set his notes down on the table before sitting on the couch and pulling two butter-beers out.

Tony sat down and started reading, "So you can magic up more space? That flies in the face of everything science taught me." He continued to read while holding the conversation.

Harry laughed "I had a friend who said the same thing. She was a genius. Had wonderful ideas about how magic could be used with or in lieu of technology. She started me on my journey from a mediocre student to one of the most well read wizards of all time." Harry pulled from his bottle as he saw Stark reach one of the first ideas he had written and decided to wait to see what he would say.

Tony was listening but most of his concentration was on the rough explanation of magic and enchantment in front of him. When he got to the ideas he was surprised it was something so normal, "Prosthetics? I mean I get using it to help people, that's what the new clean energy direction Stark Industries is doing."

"Yup, I've seen people lose limbs and had a hard time functioning or readjusting if they are older. Plus, this idea moves onto the next idea pretty swiftly." He said flipping the page. "This one is not for public use."

Tony looked in glee at sketches and rudimentary blueprints for what might be the coolest thing he'll ever say, "Magical Armor." Tony was very much a man based in science, but everyone fantasizes about living in a fantasy world with magic and dragons at some point in their life.

"Magic armor. At first it was just stuff for me and a few others, but then I saw your armor during that fight with the 'Iron Monger'," both Tony and Harry rolled their eyes at that. Then proceeded to laugh at their similar reactions.

Tony started day dreaming about his new Magic Armor, "I know what you're thinking about but to get to that point we have a lot of work to do."

Tony nodded and continue to flip over the next few pages, general ideas for things they could work on, medical equipment, magical batteries, flying vehicles, and a few personal weapons. "Well this looks interesting but I will need you to explain how we could combine the two."

Harry nodded and leaned forward as he pulled out a few books and note pads. "First thing you should know, magic is," Harry tilted his hand and gave an iffy look, "finicky when it comes to technology. There's something about how active magic works that cause chemical reactions to alter themselves and electronics to short out. I've learned through my own work that the chemical reactions can't really be stopped. The energies used by my kind of magic users cause chemical reactions to vary from too high to too low. I once fired a gun in a battle with demons and the bullet slid out and fell to the ground, the second time I fired the gun nearly blew my hand off. So any live rounds near magic would be a poor choice. Electrical equipment on the other hand are a bit easier. There's a set of runes that protect batteries and capacitors that will protect the charge they carry. See magic doesn't destroy the tech naturally, it either lowers or increases the electric charge randomly."

"That would cause batteries and capacitors to react poorly considering they are just conducting electricity, they store it." Tony nodded in understanding. "That does bring in issues though, how big do the capacitors need to be for you to work on them?"

Harry just smiled and pulled out a capacitor the size of a grain of sand and set it on the table. He then waved his hand over it and it grew to the size of a can of soda. "It doesn't need to be this big and it's only temporary, but it does allow me to draw runes on it." Harry then turned it on it's side showing a line of symbols that Tony mostly couldn't identify.

"Where did you find these symbols and learn what they do? Also isn't that kanji?" Tony asked pointing at the Japanese characters interlaced within.

Harry grinned pointing out the 5 books and laying them in order on the table, "That's the beauty of magic. There are really only a few languages that I have found that are truly magical. They didn't come from Earth or any planet within our dimension, it was all gifted to humans when communing with inter-dimensional beings. See throughout my studies I have found that magic users weren't a natural development of humans. The first magic users were a types of spirits or beings from different realms, they copulated with humans and had children. Those children were taught the languages of magic and how to harness the abilities they were born with and eventually passed down. Thousands and thousands of years of experiments created what magic users today call, runes or rune words."

Harry tapped the books on the table from left to right, "This is an introduction and dictionary on the easiest or starter language for runes."

Tony stopped him, "What language? Sanskrit?"

Harry rolled his eyes, "No it's Elder Futhark runes. Now don't interrupt." Tapping on the next book, "The second through fourth is a categorical masterpiece on how to carve and power runes, what failsafe to use, and a list of objectives that build up your skill in the most versatile rune languages. These books were only available in Japanese so they have been translated for you." Pausing for a moment he caught Tony's eye, "This is the greatest work of magic that my old friend ever did. She was so fluent in runes that she had a crazy idea to create something that could change the future of our world."

Leaning back Harry finished off his drink and watched as Tony waited for him to finish. "You see we started studying how magic interacted with the world but could never truly understand the answers we were given. It wasn't until I met another friend of mine that I understood dimensional energies. I found out that my people typically use three types of energies in our magic; Life energy, Chaos energy, and Quantum energy." At the last part Tony couldn't keep himself quiet anymore.

"Quantum energy?! You mean to tell me that there is an entire group that could harness the powers of a near infinite realm that we can barely interact with?" Tony had gotten up and started pacing as idea after idea started flying through his head. Harry let him go knowing how much he was freaked when he found out. When he eventually noticed Harry hadn't interrupted him he sat back down and then picked up the 5th book. "So what makes this so special?"

"That is a general guide to how a magical computer might work." Harry's smile grew with each revelation that crossed Tony's face.

Tony almost relevantly held the book "So you're saying this is…"

Harry nodded, "That is a guide to a computer that could be so powerful and so fast that it's speed would be measured in millions of percents. That my friend is a quantum computer 'how to' guide."

Tony proceeded to attack the books with fervor while Harry spent time looking over Tony's work with the arc reactors and his suits. It wasn't until they heard someone coming down to check on Tony that they both realized something, the house was wrecked.

"Tony!" Both Harry and Tony's head whipped towards the stairs where a freaked out Pepper Potts and a strikingly familiar red head were standing. Harry knew exactly who that red head was and felt the massive grin slowly growing on his face.

"Well you must be the wonderful Pepper Potts, Tony told me all about you." Harry said as he dropped his research to mess with the ever unflappable Black Widow and greet the future Mrs. Stark, even if they didn't know it yet.

Pepper realized that Tony wasn't the only person in his workshop, and it was a total stranger. She held her hand out anyway as he approached. "Yes that would be me. I'm sorry, but I don't think Tony ever introduced us." She felt off kilter finding someone besides Rhodey down here and tried to pay attention after he started talking.

"Oh don't worry too much about that. I'm a new business partner, Harry Potter at your service." He took her hand and gave a classic bow and air knuckle kiss. "Now, who is this lovely vision next to you?"

Natasha Romanov was used tot playing her roles but she couldn't help but feel annoyed because she knew Harry was going to be incredibly annoying about this. "I'm Natalie Rushman, sir. I work as an assistant to Pepper Potts." She said as she held out her hand.

Harry once again bowed for the knuckle kiss but instead of the air it was light kiss on her knuckle with a raised eyebrow and a grin. Standing back up he walked over to Tony who was getting a slight glare from Pepper. "We were just working on some stuff."

Tony took the distraction to pull himself out of his workshop mode, "So Pep did you need anything?"

Pepper gave him a pointed look while waving at the surroundings. Tony sheepishly rubbed his head. "Well yeah but I needed to make something."

"Tony you own a lab that could do this."

Harry laughed at that, "I told him the same thing." Tony look unimpressed with Harry's mirth.

"Look Pep I am sorry but I kinda just got in a groove. See I fixed it!" He said waving at his new arc reactor.

Pepper stepped forward to touch his chest and thought better of it with company. Harry seeing this decided he'd wingman. "Come on Ms. Rushman let's give them a moment." He subtly guided the Black Widow to the upstairs kitchen. As the reached the kitchen Natalie Rushman went from professional assistant to Natasha.

Nat gave him an annoyed glare, "Couldn't warn me that you'd be hanging out with Stark?"

Harry placated her by waving his hands. "Sorry I didn't know you were working with Ms. Potts, or as I call her in my head, the future Mrs. Stark."

Natasha just raised an eyebrow, "Future Mrs. Stark huh? I don't see that happening."

Harry just grinned and adopted a faux fortune teller look by transfiguring his cloths, "Ah but I know all and see all!" he finished by waving his hands above a floating lumos that looked like a crystal ball.

Natasha couldn't help but laugh at Harry in a ridiculous get up. "You're going to blow my cover you goof. You do know I'm on assignment right?"

"Eh I wouldn't be too worried about it. Tony got himself all patched up and now I get to borrow his genius. So Fury should see Stark cleaning up his act soon." Harry waved his hand dispelling his clothes back to normal before he started scouring Tony's fridge but only finding horrible looking green smoothies. Scowling he closed the fridge and pulled another butter-beer from his pocket. Taking a sip and leaning back he looked back at Natasha "So how did you end up here? I don't mean this house either I mean as the new personal assistant for the CEO of Stark Industries?"

She didn't say or do anything until Harry handed her a butterbeer of her own. "You know how it is. One day you're spying on an idiot with a weapons company the next you're baby sitting a different idiot who used to make weapons."

Harry nodded along as he heard steps coming from the lab, "Honestly Ms. Rushman I would love to take you out this weekend but I have plans." He gave her an obvious wink before walking over to Tony who just made it to the sitting room with Pepper.

Tony heard the last exchange between the new PA and Harry and couldn't hold back a snort as he saw Harry give her a big exaggerated wink. "You kids doing alright up here?"

"Kid? Tony you do know I'm at least your age right?" Harry asked him with a smirk and handed him two butter-beers.

Tony couldn't keep the doubt from his face, "There's no way right, you only look like you're in your mid twenties." Tony handed the second bottle to Pepper who looked confused at what it was.

"Well you see my self and my friends," Harry gave another obvious wink, "age more slowly than most people. The average life of my friends will last to be at least 100 years in age."

"Well that's bullshit! Not only do you get ma-" He realized that Peppers PA was looking at them in interest. He coughed covering up his dead sentence, "Such long life spans must be nice." He finished lamely before turning to see Pepper with the same look of delight on her face when she drank from the bottle. "Yeah Butter-Beer is pretty delicious."

Harry nodded sagely before giving Tony a look of revulsion gesturing at the fridge, "Why do you only have horrible green smoothies in your fridge?"

Tony laughed "Oh those were used to slow down the toxins pumping out of my old reactor." Harry nodded in understanding. "So Harry here asked you out Ms. Rushman? Going to take him to the ring too?"

Natasha quirked her eyebrow before shifting to a slight smile and wide innocent look, "Why that sounds like a wonderful idea sir. Mr. Potter would you like to accompany me in the ring for a few rounds? I'm still just learning."

Harry awkwardly laughed and scratched at his chin. "You know Ms. Rushman maybe we can talk this over next time."

Tony and Pepper both chuckled remembering Happy getting brought down a few times in the ring. Harry casually glanced at the clock, "Oh bollocks, I'm running late. Pepper it was lovely to meet you." He said kissing the air above her hand again "Natalie it's been a pleasure." He kissed her knuckles again. "Tony I'll call you in a day or two." Harry then disappeared down the stairs.

"Sorry Natalie, but I have some issues to bring up with Tony. Would you mind taking the car back to the office?" At her nod Pepper continued, "You have the rest of the day free." It only took a few moments until Tony and Pepper were alone. "So new business partner?"

Tony gave her a wide smile, "Yes but more importantly a new lab partner. There's some stuff we'll be working on the SI will get some part of but somethings will be totally, 100%, completely off the books. He has a means and ideas that could change our world massively in the next decade or two. I'm talking Industrial Revolution style progress bumped up into modern equivalents."

Pepper watched with a smile as the man she had know for so long, that had recently been so self-destructive, until he had looked healthier than in weeks, and now wasn't on a ticking clock. The man she, reluctantly admitted, she loved was now pacing in his half destroyed house ranting and gushing about the new work he would be doing, that would be the next level of technology.

Tony jumped when on Monday Harry popped right into his lab. "Gandalf you gotta stop popping up like that. Don't you know I have a heart problem?"

Harry simply raised an eyebrow before ignoring him and walking over to an unused holo-table, "I got some inspiration on how to make the prosthetics more susceptible to touch. I figured it we include some of the stranger objects my friends had created we might be able to add a sense of touch to the prosthetics."

Tony temporarily forgetting the irritation of him just popping in walked over to look over his work. It was only a few minutes into their designing session that Jarvis interrupted. "Sir, Miss Potts has asked me to remind you that you are expected at the Expo in a few hours."
