The Year Before Naruto Graduated

The moment Mika graduated, he hurried to the Leaf's graveyard. From more than cold he shivered, looking at his father's grave, the place was in the civilian section away from anyone that might have cared for the bastard. The man's evil, it seemed to seep through the ground, filling the air with his vile presence. "May you rest in the hell I put you in." Mika started. " I am excelling without you. You are nothing, a miserable memory, one I will never allow to harm me anymore." He laughed, a cold sound. "I graduated and will become a true ninja. My path is set, I will rise to greatness, to be a Sanin and you will remain dead, stuck in hell for your crimes. No one but me will remember you."

And with that, he rushed to the hospital, paper application in hand. Iida Sensei was waiting for him, hands out.

"You sure of this, Mika? Medical training takes years to master, especially battle medics."

Mika nodded. "It is the only feasible way to bolster my skills, powers and more without relying on a team that could drag me down. I need this."

The man sighed. " On your head, be it then. Follow me, and let's get you settled. There is much you have to learn for at least the next three months, before you can even take on the mantle of rank one Medic."

"I cannot wait."

And so started Mika's walk to greatness.

Three hours later in the medical training room.

Mika hissed as he fell into the water, his feet slamming hard into the tiled floor of the koi pond "The Surface clinging technique was easy, this is a bit harder." And Taking one more breathe, he stepped back onto the water, this time staying fast. He took several steps, twisting and dodging on the water until he reached mastery. "That was easy."

Iida smiled. "Your control is definitely high, but it needs to be higher, as does your chakra levels. For now on, you will be practicing your evasion training on the water, for three hours each day, as well as your taijutsu training. In the mean time, while you rest, you will study these scrolls and work on them. In a week or two, you'll begin your Mystic Palm training."

"Sounds great."

"It won't after you get started... now... your paperwork is done, you are now acting as an aide, for your D ranks you will be taking care of patients, two days a week for four hours. Other than that, you will be training."

"Sounds perfect...hey, can I access the Library now?"

The Man nodded. "Yes, but only the Genin section."

Mika bowed. "I will not abuse the privilege..."
