Rise to Fame
It's hard to believe that this was the Avengers' first album. Back then, Tony Stark was relatively unknown, Bruce was only recognized in the classical scene, Natasha was only known in Russia, Clint was not known at all, Steve was known for his patriotism, and Thor was known for kids' music. Like most of their albums, it follows a story - if you think about it, at least. All of this album was written by Tony.
Tracklist:
Spark: Their opening song, entirely instrumental. Eerily beautiful.
Genius, Billionaire, Playboy: This one was one of their top hits. Very well-known. Steve was the main vocalist, and the only accompaniment was drums.
Iron Will: A song about never giving up, and the lyrics support that. Natasha had lead vocals.
Pepper's Lament: A beautiful love song with lead vocals by Natasha and Clint.
Arc Reactor: A very upbeat, almost entirely instrumental song about excitement. Bruce had the only vocals.
Malibu Nights: Unlike others, we actually know what inspired this song. Tony stated in an interview that this song was inspired by a sleepless night, watching the Malibu skyline.
Jarvis' Lullaby: One of their most curious songs, as we have no idea who Jarvis is.
Rise to Fame: The title track, and their first number 1 hit. Steve had lead vocals, and it featured a lot of drums. It definitely startled most people, as it started with a cymbal crash right after the quietness of the last song
Altogether: Rise to Fame will always be one of their best. Although their next one almost overshadowed it - almost.
