Above the city of Ocean Bluff, the Skyship lowers anchor into loading zone of a certain local pizzeria. Eagerly stumbling out the back door is a tall blonde man wearing the green-and-orange shirt-and-apron uniform. This is Orion: the once and forever Super Mega Silver Ranger getting off his latest part-time job. "Quittin' time! See ya, R.J.!" he clambers down the stairs before a messy-haired older man peeks his head out.
"Wait! You can't just leave in the middle of a lunch rush!" R.J. pleaded desperately before a puff of flour bursts behind him.
"Sorry, boss!" buzzed another man's voice.
As Orion jogs towards the anchor, he takes his Legendary Siver Morpher and inputs the code "5-0-8-1," manifesting silver particles to teleport him into a common room decorated with rustic couches, chairs and a dining table, and computers mounted around a descending stairwell. "Morning, y'all!" Orion jovially announced his arrival.
Flying around the room is Tensou 4, their robotic parrot companion and First Mate of the Super Mega Skyship. "Squaaawk! Silver Ranger aboard!" he squawked before perching on a couch. "Welcome back, Orion!"
"Right back at you, Tensou." Orion pointed finger-guns at him.
"How's it going, man?" Jake greets him as he and Gia emerged from upstairs, carrying a cooler.
"Going great, Jake." Orion shook hands with him.
"Been giving R.J. trouble?" Gia asked Orion.
"More like he gives me trouble. I came to study Pai Zhua, and all I got the past few weeks are three different ways to toss pizza." Orion chuckled.
"Hey, all!" Emma walked up to them, cheery as usual.
"Emma!" Gia goes up to Emma for a hug. "I saw that picture on your Insta. It was amazing!"
"You really think so?" Emma asked.
"Sure did! That photo of the Summer Cove Ribbon Tree was amazing!" Jake complimented her.
"Thanks! I had to find a good angle to complement its beauty. The only things more beautiful than the tree are the memories hanging from it." Emma responded.
"Ahoy!" Rushing down the stairs from the lower deck is Troy, fully dressed in a red frock coat, a black tricorne with the Super Megaforce insignia, and a left eyepatch. "Tis a fine day for adventure, innit? May we travel to Forza and join the local rally race? Or mayhaps we explore the untamed wilderness of Levvina?" he greeted them with a gruff pirate voice.
"Wait, where's Noah?" Orion asked as he looked around.
Troy lifts up his eyepatch. "He came early, said he wanted to use the facilities." he spoke with his normal California intonation.
"Maybe he's fixing up new upgrades?" Emma suggested.
"We're already decked out with all sorts of upgrades thanks to Troy." Orion reminded everyone. "We've, well, you've got Super Ultra Mega Mode from the Ultra Skyship Key." Orion explained as Troy holds up a model of the Skyship in his hand.
"With this, we can harness the power of our Zords in the palm of our hands." Troy continued.
"And with the Legendary Megazord Keys—" Orion holds up a Legendary Key in the shape of the original Megazord. "—we can morph our Megazords into other Rangers' Megazord."
"Enough bush-beating. Where's old four-eyes now?" Jake asked.
"He's in the cinema watching something. Let's go see him." Troy said as he leads everyone downstairs.
The Rangers and Tensou 4 come to the vintage-style cinema where a lone figure sits at the top-most seat, watching five dark silhouettes walking through fire.
"Heya, Noah!" Jake greeted the figure.
The figure turns around and its Noah wearing his Grid Battleforce lab coat. "Hi. Morning." he waved.
"What's so important that you came early?" Gia asked.
"Not important, but just really cool." Noah said as he turns back to the silver screen. "I'd like to introduce to you…" the dark silhouettes are lit up, shown to be the Super Megaforce Rangers atop the backdrop of their Jolly Roger. "…Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger."
"I've heard of it!" Emma points as the show's theme song plays out. "While we were fighting The Armada, a studio in Japan made a T.V. show based on us!"
"It's about a crew of space pirates who come to Earth looking for the Greatest Treasure in the Universe." Noah described before pausing the show.
He pauses at a scene where a young man with messy black hair, wearing a red frock coat like Troy's fades over the backdrop of the Skyship flying, and numerous Red Rangers rush past him. "They're led by Captain Marvelous, the charismatic leader, captain of the Gokai Galleon, and their Red Ranger."
He plays the video, and pauses at a shot of a man with neatly-combed emo hair wearing a blue leather jacket with too many zippers. "This is Joe, an expert swordsman. He used to work for the bad guys until he saw them threatening children and deserted." Noah explained. "Coming from an actual swordsman, this guy's good. Real good."
He plays it until the next shot showing a young woman at the crow's nest, with short brown hair and wearing a yellow reefer jacket over a striped tank top. "Luka Millfy is their lookout, and an expert treasure hunter. If I were to describe her, she's just like Gia, but more of a sneak. She does things like pickpocketing and cheating in cards."
He plays it again, and the next character is at some computers and turns around, revealing themselves as a man with fluffy blonde hair wearing green plaid shirt and brown trousers. "Their resident genius is Don, also known as Hakase. He's responsible for upkeep of the ship's systems, weapons maintenance and development, and their chef."
"Then there's Ahim de Famille, the princess of the fallen planet Famille." Noah plays it again and the next character shown is a soft-looking young woman with silky black hair, wearing an elegant pink coat over a frilly white dress, enjoying a cup of tea. "She's… she's literally just Emma. She's calm, she makes sure everyone's happy, and she's really nice."
"What about me? Where's their Silver Ranger?" Orion asked.
Noah plays and the next shot is of a man at a dining table holding the Silver Ranger Key while the Sixth Ranger Keys are neatly stood on the tabletop. The man has brown hair, wearing light grey clothes and a scarf, and a smile wider than his face. "This is Gai. He's, like, a real big fanboy of the Rangers. Ask him any trivia about them, and he'll answer at lightspeed."
"Wait, so they have all these cool names…" Jake shook his head in confusion as Noah plays the video again. "And two of them are just named Joe and Guy?"
The next shot is of the Japanese Rangers at a beach with their own robot parrot flying beside them. "Hey, they got a Tensou, too!" Tensou 4 pointed.
"Oh, this is so cool! Why haven't we heard of it before?" Emma wondered excitedly.
"I had these D.V.D.s for a while. I just remembered I bought them the first time we vacationed in Japan." Noah explained.
"So, what, you wanna marathon this with us?" Jake asked.
"I mean, we cooould instead go into space and have a real adventure." Gia suggested when Troy puts his hand on her shoulder.
"Gia, there's more than one way to have an adventure. One can even have one in the comfort of their own couch." He told her. "As captain of this ship, I command everyone to enjoy the show!"
"They better have Japanese me on my good side!" Jake clapped his hands, anticipating what the show has in store.
Before they could join in the marathon, an alarm blares throughout the cinema. "Uh-oh! A dimensional tear's been detected!" Tensou 4 alerted everyone, who gets up to leave the cinema back to the common room.
At the common room, they look at the monitor to see a ripple of colours and energy in the skies above. "Here and now? What're the odds of that?" Emma noted.
"Speaking as a scientist: extremely unlikely!" Noah added.
"Buckle up, mateys! Looks like we're in fer another adventure across dimensions!" Troy flicks his collar as he smiles fiercely.
As Troy makes his way to the helm, his friends strap themselves to the couches and chair before the Skyship weighs anchor and takes to the sky, setting sail for the anomaly. As they approach, sparkles fly past the portholes, bringing streams of colours that splash against the hull.
Interrupting this serene scene is a crash from below. "Is that turbulence?" Jake wondered.
Tensou 4 looks out of the porthole to see a dark shape claw up the hull, lit by burning red eyes. "Scoundrel on the portside!"
"I'll take care of that swashbuckler!" Orion shoots up from his chair and hurried upstairs.
"Orion, wait—" Noah tries to reach him when another powerful bang knocks him off his feet. Emma tries to help him up when the portholes flash white, blinding everyone inside.
"Oriooon!" everyone screamed before everything went dark.
At a humble apartment, a snoring lump under a blanket is surrounded by Super Sentai paraphernalia; action figures, replica weapons, and on a pedestal is a book illustrated with a Red Ranger with a goggle-shaped visor. A blue retro-robot-shaped alarm clock goes off, leading the lump to extend a hand to switch it off. Kicking off the blanket reveals a wide-smiling man with wild brown hair: Ikari Gai. "[Good morning, Japan!]"
He speeds through his morning routine from shower to dressing, topping off with his signature scarf. Then, he goes to a glass display of Ranger self's action figure. "[Do you know what day it is, S.H. Figuarts Gokai Silver? Today's day twenty of theRanger KeyReturn Program!]" he excitedly told the toy. "[After thwarting the Bakut Pirates and theirColosseum, we are returning theRanger Keysto their owners! Last week, we met Big One; leader of JAKQ Dengekitai!]" he sighs in amazement. "[And couple days ago, I found out that Ohba Kenji; Battle Kenya of Battle Fever J, works at a nearby zoo! It'll be so cool to meet him again!]" suddenly, he's interrupted by his Gokai Cellular ringing atop a bedstand. "Moshi-moshi?"
"Hey-hey-hey! Iiit's George!" a man's voice greets him in English.
"[George! Isn't it early for you to call me?]" Gai asked his friend.
"[I know, I know, but you told me to call once I have it.]" George responded.
"[No… way!]" Gai smiles, getting hyped-up.
"Yeah, that's right. [Those D.V.D.s you wanted? I got back from America with a whole collection.]" George informed Gai proudly. "[Come over to my place to watch them with me!]"
Gai was elated to hear his offer, but scrunches his face when he remembered his own plans for today. "[Ah… can we do it in the afternoon? I got something to with my friends.]" Gai asked.
"Sure, sure! [The videos aren't going anywhere. Actually, your friends can come, too! I'd love to meet them.]" George agreed.
Then, Gai's doorbell rings. "[I need to go. See you later!]"
"Bye-bye, my Gai." George gave his farewell before Gai rushes to the door.
Gai opens the door, and is met by Hakase; fluffy and awkward as always. "[Good morning, Gai.]" he greeted meekly.
"[Yo, Hakase!]"
"[Marvelous and the others are at Sna—]" Don told Gai before he excitedly zooms past.
"[Meet you theeere!]" Gai shouted as he sprints down the corridor.
At a safari-themed restaurant, Gai bursts through the door with Hakase. "[Hello, friends! Ready for another day of returning—]"
"[Took you long enough.]" grumbled Captain Marvelous, wearing his usual roguish garbs and a left eyepatch, sitting on the short end of the table the Gokaigers are sitting at.
"[Don't be so hard on Gai. He's the only one helping us find the Legend Sentai.]" Ahim advised, sat beside Captain Marvelous.
"[Yeah, give him some props.]" Navi agreed, perching on a shelf. "[Since my Treasure Navigate stopped working, he's been doing double-time looking for the Legend Sentai!]"
"[Well, do you have the intel yet? Where's this zoo Battle Kenya is working at?]" Luka asked as she boredly twirls a fork.
"[You bet I do!]" Gai puts down his Gokai Cellular and displays up Instagram posts by different users set in the same zoo. "[I found these Insta pictures captured at Ueno Zoo, and I keep seeing someone very noticeable in the background. It's definitely him! Akebono Shirou: Battle Kenya!]" Gai points at a blurry figure behind the subjects, visible enough to discern a teal shirt.
"[Are you sure that's him? I don't really see it.]" Hakase asked doubtfully.
"[I thought so, too. But then I found this video.]" Gai shows them a video of an old man teaching tricks to pandas, wearing the exact same teal shirt in previous pictures. He pauses when the man turns around, and zooms into his face, confirming his identity.
"[Where is this zoo?]" Luka asked.
"[Ueno Zoo is a couple hours walk from here. We should get there by afternoon.]" Gai answered before realizing someone is missing. "[Where's Joe?]"
Then, a hand serves him his plate of curry, and it's none other than Joe wearing a white waiter's apron. "[Enjoy your food.]" he said with his usual blank look.
"[Joe? You work here?]"
"[I have to pay rent somehow.]" Joe answered as he passes curry to his friends.
"[Rent? You guys never told me where you're staying. Why don't you ever let me come over?]" Gai asked everyone.
"[Won't matter once we get a new ship.]" Captain Marvelous answered as he takes his spoon.
"[Well, I would be glad to have friends over! Especially the greatest heroes within a million light years!]" Gai smiled. "[Speaking of, a friend of mine returned from America with some D.V.D.s I've been wanting to watch! They were really hard to find. We can all come over to his place to—]"
"[I don't want to waste time watching movies. I want to return theRanger Keysand get back to adventuring.]" Captain Marvelous refused before scooping a spoonful of curry and rice.
"[We're not in a rush, Marvelous. It would be nice to take a break once.]" Ahim advised.
"[You're telling me. I'm getting tired going up and down Japan.]" Hakase agreed.
"[I'm the captain. What I say goes, and I say we return theKeysfirst.]" Captain Marvelous sternly insisted.
Gai just makes an annoyed face at Captain Marvelous, but his friend doesn't seem to care.
After breakfast, the Gokaigers pay and Joe clocks out.
"[Gai, lead the way.]" Captain Marvelous commanded Gai in front of him, who clutches his Gokai Cellular stressfully.
Gai points his Gokai Cellular to Captain Marvelous and swipes the screen, sending a ping to his Mobirate. Captain Marvelous takes the Changer from his pocket and finds map directions to Ueno Zoo. "[Go there yourself.]" Gai grumbled before walking the other direction.
"[Gai! Where are you going?!]" Hakase shouted to him, confused.
Gai stops in place and faces his team with a frustrated look. "[I'm meeting my friend George. He appreciates my company better than you.]" Gai answered sternly. "[I work hard to help you whenever trouble arises; from taking down theColosseumand then this, and you won't take the time to just hang out with me! After all these years, I can't believe I didn't see this sooner.]" then, he turns around and walks away.
"[Oi, get back here! We're supposed to do this together!]" Captain Marvelous argued when Navi flies past his shoulder.
"[Gai is right. After you left me on Earth years ago, he was the only one to care about me, even getting me that referee job for theColosseum! I gave you Treasure Navigates every week, and this is how you repay me?]" Navi explained herself with the same exasperation as Gai. "[Gai, wait for me!]" she shouted to Gai as she follows him.
"[We didn't need either of you!]" Captain Troy shouted to them before walking towards the zoo. "[The rest of you, just get your boots to the zoo.]"
As he walks away, the rest of his team suddenly feels the guilt from what Gai said, but with no other choice, they follow their leader.
At Ueno Zoo's panda enclosure, an elderly Japanese man wearing cowboy clothing receives a set of Ranger Keys marked with country flags from the Gokaigers. "[Thank you so much, Gokaigers. If I'd known theColosseumwas up to no good, I would not have given up my team's powers.]"
"[No problem, Mister Ohba. It was only right we return it.]" said Captain Marvelous.
"[Tell your pandas I said hi.]" Ahim waved goodbye to Ohba as they turn around and leave.
"[That's Battle Fever J down. We only have thirty-six or so more to go.]" noted Joe.
"[Too bad Gai missed meeting Battle Kenya.]" Captain Marvelous groaned.
"[He was really upset by you rejecting his offer to watch those D.V.D.s together.]" Ahim reminded him.
"[Not to mention Navi. I never seen her so angry, and she gets angry a lot.]" Luka added.
"[We don't have time to watch movies. We're already wasting time giving back all the Sentai Keys when we could be looking for a new ship.]" Captain Marvelous responded. "[Gai will get over it soon enough.]"
"[I think you should apologize to them.]" Joe bluntly insisted.
"[They're still a part of this team. We're going to find them and you're going to apologize.]" Hakase insisted.
"[He's a grown man, he'll get over it!]" Captain Marvelous refused adamantly.
Luka and Joe crosses her arms.
"[Mutiny, is it?]" Captain Marvelous sighed defeatedly. "[Fine, I'll apologize. Where did he say they went?]"
Suddenly, they feel an immense heat accompanied by the sound of something hurtling through the sky. "[Are we being invaded?!]" Don panics.
Ahim looks up and is shocked to see a familiar red streak hurtling over them doused in thick smoke: the Gokai Galleon. "[Impossible…]"
"[That's our ship!]" Luka shouted.
"[Gai can wait. We're taking that ship.]" Captain Marvelous declared.
The next thing Troy knew, he was lying face-flat on a shingled path surrounded by trees, seeing his friends scattered around the grass in similar positions. "Sound off. Who's still with us?" Troy called out to them as he gets up and dusts himself.
"Here." Noah raised his hand as he gets up.
"We're alive." Jake answered as he's helped up by Gia.
"I'm up. I'm up." Emma groaned before Troy rushes to help her stand.
Troy takes headcount of his friends, and knowing something's wrong, he counts them again. "Where's Orion? Tensou?" he looks around with wide, concerned eyes.
"Orion went out to fight something the moment we entered the portal… at least I think we entered the portal." Noah answered.
"The ship's gone. Did it crash somewhere?" Emma wondered. "If it did, how'd we get here unharmed?"
"I think the portal must've separately translocated us, Orion, the ship and Tensou." Noah hypothesized.
"Where are we, anyway?" Jake scratches his head.
Troy takes another gander at their surroundings, and sees a sign written in Japanese.
"We're in Japan? Again?" Emma raised her eyebrow.
"Why don't we call up our friends over here? Zetsuko, PeRFeCt, or Lauren? Maybe they've seen the ship." Gia suggested.
Troy flips out his Legendary Morpher and dials a number. He puts it to his ear, and after the dial-tone he's met by a Japanese automated voice. He didn't understand the language, but he knew this means he's calling a non-existent number. He calls another, but the same happens. "Nothing."
"I tried calling Orion and Tensou, but they're not answering." Emma reported.
"That means while we're in Japan, it's not our Japan." Noah concluded. He opens up the map app in his Legendary Morpher to find their location. "Nerima Ward, Tokyo. I'm not getting a ping from the Skyship."
"Then we're searching blind. If whatever attacked us went through, we have to find Orion and the ship before it does." Troy commanded.
They wander the streets in search of their missing friends, and everyone passing by couldn't help but stare at Troy's outrageous pirate outfit. "Orion, where are you?!" Jake shouted.
"Tensou, can you hear us?!" Gia shouts.
"For all we know, they could've been transported as far as Fukuoka, or Osaka in the opposite direction." Emma theorized.
"We've seen crazy portals before, and any time it freaks out and scatters us everywhere, we're no too far from each other." Troy guesses. "It's almost too convenient."
"I wouldn't bet on it. Interdimensional science is an emerging field, even the most advanced alien civilizations have difficulty getting the reins one-hundred-percent." Noah added as they pass by a book shop. He glues his eye on the display, and sees an eye-catching cover of a copy of the book cherished by Gai.
"Super Sentai Daihyakka…" Noah read the cover slowly.
The rest of his friends gather around to look at the displayed book. "I've never seen this Ranger before."
"This could just be merch. Super Sentai is popular in Japan, isn't it?" Gia suggested.
"Except for one thing: it's written by Ikari Gai." Noah pointed the author's name below the title.
"Ikari Gai? The guy Ikari Gai from the show we watched? That Gai guy?" Jake scratches his head.
"That would mean…" Troy rubs his chin when a clamour of footsteps haunts his ears. "Darn 'Grammers." He groaned before turning around. "Yarr, just because a fella dresses like a scallywag don't mean—" when he turns around, his one eye opens wide in surprise.
His friends turn, and meet not a crowd of curious people, but the Kaizoku Sentai Gokaigers themselves. "[Yo, nice wardrobe you have there.]" Captain Marvelous compliments Troy's jacket; an exact match to his.
"No way, it's them! From that show about us, but not us!" Jake points to the other heroes.
"Their captain didn't have an eyepatch when we watched it. Did we get spoiled on the ending?" Gia huffed.
"What'd he say?" Troy asked Noah.
"He said he likes your jacket."
"[Are they cosplayers?]" Luka wondered.
"[Maybe? We are pretty popular, nowadays.]" answered Hakase.
"Noah, ask them if they've seen our ship." Troy suggested.
"My pronunciation's a little rusty, but I'll try." Noah answered before turning to the team. "[Excuse me, have you seen a flying red pirate ship, apizzadelivery boy, and arobotparrot? We need to find them before we go home.]"
"[Looks like this?]" Joe presents a photo of their identical ship on his Morpher.
"[Yes, exactly like that!]"
"[Good. We need a replacement.]" Captain Marvelous huffed before walking past them.
"Hey! Hey! Chotto matte!" Noah called to him.
"What? What's the matter?" Troy asked Noah as the Gokaigers follow their leader.
"He wants the ship for himself!"
Angered, Troy reaches for and grabs Captain Marvelous' collar. "Whaddya think yer doin'?"
"[Hands off, tourist.]"
"I dunno what yer sayin', but I know they be fightin' words."
"[I don't know what you're saying, but I know they're fighting words.]"
"Troy, calm down." Assured Emma. "Let's just talk each other out. Noah and I know Japanese, so—"
The two captains immediately pull out their cutlasses and clash, grinding their blades together as they stare into each other's available eyes. Troy pushes Captain Marvelous along the pavement, dragging him along like a bulldozer.
"Captain Marvelous!" Hakase came to his friend's aid by pulling out his blasters and shooting Troy, who shields himself with his bulletproof coat.
"Hey, that's our captain you're fighting!" Jake shouts as he rolls up his sleeves.
"[Oi, oi, oi! You don't have to do this!]" Hakase pleaded before Jake jumps him and starts beating him up.
As Jake wails on the little nerd, his fist is grabbed from behind. He turns around and sees Joe gripping his wrist real tight. "[Get off our doctor.]" he demanded with a quiet, composed tone. As Joe stares down Jake, he feels the wind change, then puts up his own sword behind his back to block a sneak attack by Noah's blade. "[Nice form.]"
"[I try.]" Noah smirked before Joe twirls around with a slash.
Emma watches the chaotic brawl unfold as her friends and their Japanese counterparts through their identical fighting styles, and sighs disappointedly. "Of course the guys would pick a fight first. We know better to talk first, right Gia?" Emma turns to her best friend, but sees nobody standing beside her.
"Hey, nobody wrestles my husband but me!"
Emma looks at the battlefield again to see Gia tackling Luka onto the pavement before they pinch each other's cheeks and pull hard. "[Big mistake fighting us, imposters!]" Luka curses at Gia.
Disappointed in this disastrous turn of events, Emma looks to Ahim staring with the same level of disappointment at her own crew. "[You think this is ridiculous too, right?]" Emma asked with her best Japanese.
"[Yes. My friends can be headstrong, but they'll mellow down eventually.]"
"[Do you want to go somewhere to wait this out?]" Emma offered Ahim.
"[I accept your offer. What is your name?]"
"[I am Emma: Super Ultra Mega Pink.]" Emma extends her hand.
"Ahim de Famille: Gokai Pink." The princess introduces herself. "[Follow me, I know a great café with delicious crepes.]"
The rest of the opposing heroes toss their brawl into a plaza overlooked by a skyscraper and a strange piece of modern art resembling blocky archways surrounding the entrance of a certain building where, after some brief tussling on the ground, get up and line up side-by-side with their teammates. "You're not getting our ship, ya scallywags! I don't care if ya fight fer tha Earth, ya don't just take people's stuff!" argues Captain Troy.
"[I'm a pirate. That means if I see something I like, I take it. If I see something I don't like, you for example, I break it.]" Captain Marvelous defiantly stood by his philosophy.
"He said—" Noah turns to Troy.
"We don't need to know what he said. We know they know they wanna fight." Gia steps forward.
"[Captain Marvelous, I think we shouldn't risk any unnecessary fighting! We don't need a new ship for now, we just—]" Hakase pleaded to Captain Marvelous.
"[If I say we need a new ship, we need a new ship.]" Captain Marvelous interrupts him.
"[We lost to Bakut because we were rusty. We need the exercise.]" Luka taps Don's shoulder.
Then, both teams pull out their respective identical transformation devices and pose.
"It's Morphin Time!"
"Gokai Change!"
They insert their Ranger Keys into their phones and instantly morph into Rangers.
"[Eeeh? They can Gokai Change, too?]" Gokai Green points at them.
"[Not the first time we've fought copies of ourselves. We can take them.]" Gokai Blue assured, cracking knuckles and rolling his neck.
"Now, let's make this legendary!" Red Ranger rallies his team.
"Hade ni ikou ze!" Gokai Red shouts.
The Reds shoot each other with their blasters, but their bolts cancel each other beat-for-beat. The Blues, with their left hands tucked behind their backs, match their sword tips with every thrust. Meanwhile, the Greens rush towards each other screaming with blasters extended and blasting away, somehow either missing their opponent or they're really good at dodging, before they both trip over cracks in the pavement and tumble into each other. The Yellows grab their sabers' grapple lines and swing their blades at each other, whipping back and forth, trying to slash each other at long-range but instead tear up the pavement with deep, clean trenches. With their moves matching, this becomes less than a fight and more of a futile shadow fight; neither side gaining or losing the upper hand as every blow is cancelled by another of the same strength and beat.
Grinding their sabers together, the Reds come face-to-face. "I'm impressed. Yer nearly as good as me." Red Ranger compliments Gokai Red.
"[You're not bad for a foreign knockoff.]" Gokai Red growled before he winds back his foot.
Because Red Ranger thought the same thing, instead of kicking their livers in, their heels push against each other the moment they thrust, knocking each other back a couple yards back with little to no damage. Thinking fast, they both pop out their sabers' key cylinders and insert Ranger Keys, charging them up.
"Final Wave!" a bombastic voice shouts from Gokai Red's saber.
"Final Strike!" Red Ranger shouts as he twirls his blade.
Then, both Reds fling their blades to shoot opposing energy arches which explode as they met, dealing no damage to their opponent. "Tch. This ain't gettin' us anywhere." Gokai Red growled in frustration.
Afterwards, the rest of their team meets with their respective leaders. "It's no use! They know everything we do!" Yellow Ranger growled.
"[It's like fighting a perfect mirror.]" Gokai Blue noted.
"[That, or that lady was stealing my moves!]" Gokai Yellow stomps her foot.
"I think I'm on the wrong team." Said Green Ranger as he surrounds himself with the Gokaigers.
Gokai Green also realizes this, awkwardly turning to the Power Rangers he surrounds himself with. "Uhhh…"
The opposing team turns to Green Ranger and stare before picking him up and tossing him to the Power Rangers, who accidentally have Gokai Green on their side. Green Ranger crashes into Gokai Green, who gets up quickly to return to his real team. "Ow! Can they get any rougher?!" Green Ranger complained as he dusts himself off.
"Then why don't we mix things up?" Blue Ranger suggested as he pulls out the Dino Fury Blue Ranger Key.
"Let's." Red Ranger and the rest of the team responds in kind by producing their own Legendary Ranger Keys of various other Power Rangers.
"[Eh?! They have Ranger Keys too?!" Gokai Green points to them.
"[Seems they're not your average bootleg, after all.]" Gokai Red said with an impressed tone before producing TimeRed's Key. "[I'm sure the Sentai heroes won't mind if we return their powers slightly used.]"
The teams pose for another transformation; inserting their keys into their phones.
"Legendary Ranger Mode!"
"Gokai Change!"
