Author's Note:
Hello, everyone. Before last year's set of Halloween stories, I mentioned that I hoped to give you one of these every year. Well, here I am again this year to bring you a new crop of creepy tales for your reading pleasure. It might be a little early, but at least I am getting this out right now as opposed to waiting until early November.
(I'm looking at you, Treehouse of Horror)
But, enough beating around the bush, I hope this new batch of stories can put you in the mood for spooky season. Enjoy!
It was a cold rainy night, and Blu and his family were staying at Linda and Tulio's house for a little bit while their sanctuary is undergoing renovations and maintenance, not that Blu had a problem with it, quite the opposite, he really liked it.
Blu: Man, I have missed being with Linda, this is a very nice change of pace.
Jewel: Yes, I will admit, this is a little better than freezing out there in the rain. (yawn) I think I'm going to head off to sleep now.
Blu: Okay, then.
Jewel flew off to find a place to sleep, while Blu turned on a nearby lamp and looked around the bookstore for something to read. Their kids (Carla, Bia, and Tiago), as well as Linda and Tulio were already asleep at this point, because it was very late at night.
Blu browsed through the bookshelves until he noticed one book that he had never seen before. It had a blue cover on it, and it looked as if it were covered in ice.
The title of the book said "The Snow Queen." Then, out of curiosity, Blu opened it and began reading.
