Before we begin know this, I'm rewriting this storyline, because I sadly lost motivation on Luffy the beast.

before i start writing the chapter, there's someone I'd like to say something to, ok??.
to Sophiarts: thanks to your review, I'm rethinking of giving manga creating another shot. I thought at the time, giving the fact that I suck at drawing in real life, I'd never be better in digital drawing... but that's before I found clip studio paint. That's why I wanted a drawing tablet, to make manga with that drawing app. But I began believing that i might need to pay in order to draw with the apps tools.
i may not be japanese... but deep down, i want to be a great manga artist. American or not, i have a dream to bring entertainment to the world.

it's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds flying high in the sky. Everything is going peacefully.
on an island called dawn island, there lives a young boy, who'll change the world. His name, monkey D Luffy.
as young 7 year old Luffy walks around the forest, he talks to himself. 'Dumb old grandpa, thinking I should be a marine. I don't want to be a marine, i want to be a pirate.' Said Luffy to himself.
as he kept on walking, he soon spots a big chest on the ground. Luffy walks up to it, and knees down. He finds a lock on the chest.
just like that, he grabs a big enough rock at starts hitting the lock, hoping it'll break. After a few hits, it did as Luffy expected.
Luffy then opens the chest, and finds gold coins in said chest. Along with the gold, Luffy saw a strange looking fruit, and a book.
not knowing what to do with the fruit, Luffy decided to read the book in case it says anything about said fruit.
to his surprise it does. It's called a devil fruit, a paramecia type, called the float float fruit. With it's powers, the user of said fruit can float in midair and fly. It can even make non living things float and fly as well, just by touching it once.
as Luffy was done reading the book, his eyes turned that into stars of excitement.
'the power to fly, oh man, that's so cool. I may not know much about this whole devil fruit thing, but I know one thing. With the power of the float float fruit, i can fly like a bird, I'm sure i can handle the rest.' Said Luffy.
just like that, Luffy ate the fruit, ignoring the bad taste and ate every inch of it.
after that, Luffy felt lightheaded now. Believing it's one of the perks of being a floating person.
just like that Luffy decided to take a few deep breaths. After that, Luffy began to jump as high as he can until...
just like that, Luffy was floating in midair. He has became a floating person through and through.
'this, is, so, cooool!!. With this, Shanks has to let me join his crew.' Said Luffy.
Luffy then begins to land back onto the ground. He then walks to the treasure chest full of gold coins. He begins to touch the chest, and just like that, the chest full of gold started float in the air.
it was like it had no weight to it. 'Cool.' Said Luffy as he now walked away with the floating chest.
'i bet Makino will love my geft to her, it's the least i can offer for her taking care of me when grandpa ain't around.' Said Luffy to himself.
[in the town of fusha village]
'thanks again Luffy, I'm really proud of your kind heart.' Said Makino with a smile.
'it's alright, you work to hard, you deserve something good.' Said Luffy.
after giving Makino the chest full of gold, Luffy flu away. As he flies around the village, he soon spots a pirate ship making dock. But it's not an ordinary pirate ship. But the flag ship, of the red haired pirates, captained by none other... then "red hair" Shanks.
'oh boy, Shanks is back. I bet he's going to be excited bout my new abilities.' said Luffy smiling with excitement.
[at the docks]
as the red haired pirates make port, they don't see Luffy flying down to the docks.
'hey Shanks, how ya been?.' Asked Luffy excited.
'Luffy, good to see ya still full of spirit.' Said Shanks with a kind smile.
'I'm ready to join your crew Shanks.' said Luffy.
'of course you'd say that. You really need a hobby Lad.' Said Shanks.
'I can prove I'm useful. Here, watch.' Said Luffy as he walks up the a big barrel and touches it.
'careful Luffy, it's to heavy, even for you.' laughed Shanks with a calm smile.
just like that, the barrel Luffy touched began to float in the air. This brought widen eyes to Shanks and the crew.
the crew was surprised by Luffy finding and eating a devil fruit... as for Shanks... it was shock and fear.
'the float float fruit.' Said Shanks in fear.
'ya know of this cool fruit and its powers?.' Asked Luffy surprised by this.
'Luffy... you idiot... what have you done?.' Asked Shanks upset.
'huh??.' Asked Luffy confused.
'you ate, the float float fruit. A very powerful and dangerous devil fruit. It has the power to destroy a whole island. What were you thinking??.' Asked Shanks.
'i, just want to be a pirate, like you Shanks.' Said Luffy.
hearing this, Shanks calmed down. He decided to do the unthinkable.
'your going to need a teacher Luffy. If you aim to be a great pirate like me. Then you need to learn a thing or two about pirating.' Said Shanks.
'like what?.' Asked Luffy.
'for starters, devil fruit users. Lose the ability to swim forever.' Said Shanks.
'oh... I guess i need to stick to both land and the air, huh Shanks?.' Asked Luffy.
'yep, also, if your sure about being a strong pirate. Then why not decide a dream for yourself. What do you want to be as a pirate?.' Asked Shanks.
'I guess... when i think about it, i want to be free. And go on lots of adventures.' Said Luffy.
'if that's the case, then i say, aim for the one piece. The one who finds the one piece and becomes king of the pirates, will also be the freest person in the whole world.' said Shanks.
'if that's the case. Then yeah, I'll do it. I'm going to be king of the pirates.' said Luffy.
'good Lad, keep it in your heart, and you'll make it, I believe in you Luffy.' Said Shanks with a smile.
'thanks Shanks.' Said Luffy smiling happily.
'and, seeing that your going to be our king someday, you'll be needing this.' said Shanks, giving Luffy his straw hat.
'your straw hat?. But, why??.' Asked Luffy confused.
'when the day comes, you'll know why. For now, keep it safe with your heart. And good luck Luffy.' Said Shanks smiling happily.
'now then lads, it's time to celebrate Luffy's dream. Drinks on me.' Said Shanks.
just like that, after they left. Luffy began his training. To become a great and strong pirate.
