Robert and Holly decided to go for a walk. Holly was having a hard time, feeling like so much of her life was a lie. It was a very quiet walk at first before Robert spoke up.
"Holly, are you okay?" He asked her as he took both of her hands, turning to face her.
She looked at him and tried to hide the fact she wanted to cry.
Robert could see it in her eyes. "You're not."
"Robert besides you everything in my life is a lie. Why?" Holly couldn't stop the tears from flowing.
"Baby, come here." Robert wrapped his arms around Holly. He felt so much guilt for her being a pawn in all this because of him. "I'm sorry I brought this into your life."
Holly immediately snapped back. "Don't, don't ever apologize for their behavior. You have made my life extraordinary. I think back on all our times and I am so lucky. Sometimes the only truth I ever knew was in your arms."
Robert wiped her tears away. "The only home I've ever known."
Holly gave him a smile as she gave him a kiss. His arms were truly the only home she ever needed.
All of a sudden a ball hit Robert's foot.
Robert looked over and saw Noah and Seana. "Grandpa and Grandma Holly!" Noah ran over with Seana close behind. They both hugged their grandparents as Patrick and Ethan walked up.
"Hey you two, take it easy." Patrick could tell Holly had been crying. "Is everything okay?"
Holly nodded as she got down to hug Noah and Seana. "It is now, who can be sad with these two greeting us like this."
Noah gave Holly a big hug. "I was teaching Seana how to play soccer!"
Holly's eyes got big as she took his hands. "Well you know she's going to be one of the best with you showing her the ropes."
Seana looked over and shook her head, perfectly content in Robert's arms. "Ball!"
Robert and Holly both laughed.
"Do you two want to join us for lunch? We are having a picnic with the kids?" Ethan asked.
Holly couldn't help but smile. She loved how Ethan had turned his life around, had a good job and was being a wonderful father to Seana. "We would love to." Holly stood back up and went over to give her son a hug.
"Hey, your son-in-law should get one of those too." Patrick was hoping to make Holly smile.
It worked as she went over to give him a hug. "The best son-in-law. Oh I guess I will have to start saying one of."
"No." Patrick replied with a grin.
The group went and sat down on the blanket.
"Seana and Noah were learning to compromise. Seana wanted to have a tea party and Noah wanted to play soccer so they are taking turns." Patrick informed Robert and Holly.
"I've never met anyone who does a tea party quite like your grandma." Robert took Holly's hand into his.
"Well Seana is definitely catching up. Tiff and I are showing her the ways. By the way where is Tiff?" Holly asked Ethan.
"Lucas is taking in Donna and Tiffany went to help him get things set up for her." Ethan knew neither of them would care if he told the group here.
"Oh, that's wonderful! She will have a great home with Lucas. He's a fine chap." Holly smiled.
"I think he will be a great parent to her." Ethan and Lucas had become very good friends and he saw how he was with Seana. He knew he had this. "Are you sure everything is okay, mum?"
Holly nodded. "I will talk to you about it later but everything is okay."
